Big Bear and Big Panda Just Joined the Discussion – Vice President Mike Pence Reveals Central American Invasion Horde is: “Financed by Venezuela”…

Well, there it is.  Quietly within the deliberate words from Vice-President Mike Pence a revelation that explains the origination of the Central American invasion force.  For those who are not deep in the geopolitical weeds, the subtlety can pass unnoticed; for those who travel within the deepest international conflicts, Pence’s words here are as subtle as a brick through a window:

[…] “Financed by Venezuela; and sent North to challenge our sovereignty and our border”…

Announcing the migrant caravan is “financed by Venezuela” is a direct notification the Central American invasion force is being funded by Russia and China.  Venezuela doesn’t have any money to sustain its own operational government – let alone a 10,000 person convoy.  Venezuela is entirely reliant upon massive investment from Russia and China.

In fact China owns 49% of Venezuela’s state run PDVSA energy production. A collateral system where Beijing takes oil as payment for prior loans the Maduro regime cannot pay back.  With the crippling treasury department sanctions President Trump put on Venezuela last year, Trump has punched Maduro and Xi-Jinping hard.

With Mike Pence pointing a finger at Venezuela the politics behind the invasion force begin to make much more sense.  The invasion objective takes on a geopolitical angle directly targeting a series of U.S. policies that are against the interests of Russia and China.

It helps here to remember the strategic moves taken by President Trump that have put the geopolitical/economic squeeze on both China and Russia:

Squeeze #1. President Trump and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin sanctioned Venezuela and cut off their access to expanded state owned oil revenue. Venezuela needs more money. China and Russia are already leveraged to the gills in Venezuela and hold 49% of Citgo as collateral for loans outstanding.  China and Russia now need to loan more, directly.

However, China cannot engage in economic commerce with Venezuela or they risk losing access to the U.S. banking system.  Therefore all current Chinese aid to Maduro comes in the form of IOUs.  These ongoing loans are likely impossible to be repaid.

Squeeze #2. China’s geopolitical ally, Russia, is already squeezed with losses in energy revenue because of President Trump’s approach toward oil, LNG and coal. Trump, through allies including Saudi Arabia, EU, France (North Africa energy), and domestic production has influenced global energy prices.  Additionally, President Trump is demanding NATO countries, specifically Germany, stop supporting financial dependence on Russia.

Meanwhile, and directly connected, Russia is bleeding out financially in Syria. Iran is the financial reserve, but they too are energy price dependent and President Trump is now putting pressure on Iran vis-a-vis new sanctions and new demands on allies.

Squeeze #3. In 2017 Trump and Secretary Tillerson, now Secretary Pompeo, put Pakistan on notice they need to get involved in bringing their enabled tribal “extremists” (Taliban) to the table in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s primary investor and economic partner is China. The U.S. removed $900 million in financial support to pressure Pakistan toward a political solution in Afghanistan, China has to fill void.  [NOTE: Last month the World Bank began discussions about a financial bailout for Pakistan.]  Again, more one-way bleed for China.

Squeeze #4. China’s primary economic threat (competition) is next door in India. President Trump has embraced India as leverage over China in trade and pledged ongoing favorable trade deals. The key play is MFN (Most Favored Nation) trade status might flip from China to India. That’s a big play.  It would have massive ramifications.

Squeeze #5. President Trump launched a USTR Section 301 Trade Investigation into China’s theft of intellectual property. This encompasses every U.S. entity that does manufacturing business with China, particularly aeronautics and technology, and also reaches into the financial services sector.

In March of 2018 U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer completed a section 301 review of China’s trade practices.  [SEE HERE] Section 301 of the U.S. Trade Act of 1974 authorizes the President to take all appropriate action, including retaliation, to obtain the removal of any act, policy, or practice of a foreign government that violates an international trade agreement or is unjustified, unreasonable, or discriminatory, and that burdens or restricts U.S. commerce.  However, as talks with China progressed, President Trump shelved the 301 action to see where negotiations would end-up. The May and June, 2018, negotiations between the U.S. and China provided no progress.  The 301 review of China was pulled back off the shelf, and President Trump assembles his trade-war strategy.  The 301 tariffs/sanctions are currently being worked out with U.S.T.R Robert Lighthizer.

Squeeze #6. President Trump, Secretary Ross, Secretary Mnuchin and USTR Robert Lighthizer dissolved NAFTA in favor of the USMCA.  One of the primary objectives of team U.S.A. was to close the 3rd party loopholes, including dumping and origination, that China uses to gain backdoor access to the U.S. market and avoid trade/tariff restrictions. [China is a Non-Market Country without a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and sends parts to Mexico and Canada for assembly and then back-door entry into the U.S. via NAFTA.]

As we see in the details within the U.S-MCA trade agreement, China’s ability to use Mexico and Canada as a backdoor into the United States is now gone.

(Link to Article 32 pdf)

Squeeze #7. President Trump has been open, visible and vocal about his intention to shift to bilateral trade renegotiation with China and Southeast Asia immediately after Team U.S.A. concluded with NAFTA. [Current discussions with Japan are ongoing]

Squeeze #8. President Trump positioned the U.S. relationship with the E.U. as a massive potential loss for Europe (via Steel, Aluminum, and Auto tariffs) if they did not: (A) shift their trade relationship toward greater reciprocity; and (B) reconsider the size of their trade relationship with China.  After initially trying to push-back, Europe acquiesced.

Squeeze #9. President Trump has positioned ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) as trade benefactors for assistance with North Korea. Last year the KORUS (South Korea and U.S.) trade deal was renegotiated, and announced in March. The relationship between ASEAN nations and the Trump administration is very strong, and getting stronger. Which leads to…

Squeeze #10. President Trump has formed an economic and national security alliance with Shinzo Abe of Japan. It is not accidental that North Korea’s Kim Jong-un fired his last missile over the Northern part of Japan. Quite simply, Beijing told him to.  However…

Squeeze #11. President Trump cut-off the duplicitous Beijing influence over North Korea by engaging directly with Kim Jong-un.  The open exchange and ongoing dialogue has removed much of the ability of Beijing to leverage the DPRK nuclear threat for their own economic benefit.  This dialogue was as much, if not more, about dismantling the Beijing geopolitical influence as it was about denuclearizing the Korean peninsula; however, no-one caught on to that part of the strategy.

SUMMARY: It makes sense from the perspective of China, Russia and Venezuela to use their alliance to create a border crisis between the United States and Mexico, especially since the interests of President-elect Lopez Obrador and President Trump are now aligned within the U.S-MCA trade agreement; which is structured to the detriment of pre-existing Chinese investment in Mexico under their prior -and corrupt- Mexican leadership.

Remember, President Trump out manuevered Chairman Xi Jinping in North Korea.  Xi lost most of his control position over DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un; and while President Trump stood guard on the watchtower North Korea (Kim) and South Korea (Moon) are now happily joined in mutual fellowship.  In the grand trade-conflict between the Red Dragon and the United States, Xi needed a new form of leverage.

In the geopolitical realm this invasion force makes much more sense now…

Most Venezuelans who are leaving are going to Colombia or Brazil, many illegally. Those coming to the US are coming legally under refugee status but I imagine some might have been transported to Honduras or Guatemala and placed in the caravan. Most were middle class in Venezuela, many are educated, speak English, and those who come legally will be employable. Hopefully they’ll find jobs without displacing Americans given our unemployment rate.

They are some of his best team members, fyi. The poor people there have suffered a lot under Maduro and Chavez. They’ve been suffering since 1999. Hopefully the generals or whomever there can take him out so they can rebuild.

Trump just withdrew from IMF treaty which will kill 2 birds with 1 Stone. By withdrawing from IMF, would put Russia in a tough spot. Russia will be exposed in Europe if US deploys missiles like Pershing 2. It will cost Russia lot of money that she does not have on missile defense or new counter systems. China based strategic their doctrine on saturated first strike with missiles on Japan, Korea, Okinawa and Guam with intermediate ranges of missiles that US can not counterstrike with land based missiles due to IMF treaty. Missile defense is expensive and unproven. Ship based is expensive and limited quantity. China exploited this weakness as their bread rock doctrine. Cripple US fleet with saturated missiles before US can respond. Now, China is no longer can count on that advantage and China will need to spend a lot of money on missile defense system. US will have full Land, Sea, Air battle with China. US also can sell these missiles to allies like Japan, Korea, SA to defense themselves. This is Trump greatest geopolitical move.

We can then move on to Terminate the Cartels, splitting the “take” and working our way south through Central America.

Concurrently, we can terminate the Maduro’s Venezuelan Crimes against Humanity and expel China from the Americas for funding it … in the lead-up to the 2020 Election.

I can’t say I know what he has up his sleeve, but I think he’s just waiting for the perfect time to spring HIS October surprise re: the Mexican horde intent on crashing our border. Probably it will be something in the financial arena, perhaps in concert with Mexico where Venezuelan gov’t is declared a terrorist organization and banks are sanctioned, prevented from doing business in US or Mexico. Effectively cuts off funding for organizers of caravan/horde, it won’t be able to continue.

Is this a plan to sabatoge

The caravan must be stopped, yet by non-lethal force. Much better to stop them politically first. I have read calls on this blog to kill them, to bomb them, even if they use women and children as shields. ( glad those people are not President)

Would be far better to buy off the truckers. Far cheaper as well, and this is how Mexico operates.

Yes b as P. Trump says, our current laws are the problem.

Tear gas, water cannons and other non lethal force is a last resort.

I suspect a great many ills plaguing this country are coming from China—the fentanyl, the propaganda coming of Hollywood studios either outright owned or partially funded by China, funding radical Leftist and Communist activists, new invasive species that threaten agriculture and lumber, the polio-like disease showing up in cities across the country right now, etc. Soros and Democrats like Dianne “I employed a Chinese spy for 20 years” Feinstein are certainly on board with the destruction of America.

      Amen.

Their effect on Hollywood is horrifying. I am seeing more and more sophisticated anti-Trump propaganda. Most people will NOT catch the subtle stuff.

I was just watching Hollywood’s new “FBI” tonight – OMG – total Chinese and stale but still nasty Soviet propaganda (which Hollywood is more trained in).

Very entertaining episode. They make the poison really taste good.

However, by the time it got to the end, I was absolutely guffawing at the BLATANT Russia/China anti-nuclear energy (for America – not for THEM) tamp-down geopolitical propaganda streaming out of the plot resolution. They tend to get almost ’70’s obvious as the climax approaches.

      A THOUSAND FACE-PALMS

      In ONE PLOT they VILLAINIZED:

nuclear energy (“please sell us more of your uranium too cheap, American idiots”)
      American nuclear industry
people doing things to preserve JOBS (this was a subtle but well-crafted attack)
inspectors general, i.e., the IG (yeah, THAT is actually rather hard, but they did it)

And at the same time they LIONIZED or SANITIZED

      Cuba
      travel to Cuba
      Pakistani nuclear scientists
leakers and releasers of top secrets
Canada as a haven for American dissidents
      journalists

In the end, the guy one would vote MOST LIKELY TO BE ANTIFA is the hero.

AND – very interestingly – they used a cunning technique to reassure us that Three Mile Island was NOT sabotage (very few people are going to catch that, but I sure did).

I hate to say that I kinda like the show, but – well, it’s still filled with great subtle propaganda that helps Russia and China. It’s definitely the “Mueller-Comey FBI”.

Not sure I “buy” that China is behind the caravan; certainly, Soros is capable of misdirection; Honduras might have been *told* that Venezuela was financing it; or, certainly, the leaders of Honduras are capable of misdirection; Soros can fund Venezuela just as easily as China/Russia; Venezuela might be “broke,” but we are talking $32 million — a lot for us, but not much in terms of governments; so “broke” is very much a relative concept. Further, this seems more like illegals invading Europe which is Soros and communist-backed. But who knows. The China theory is an interesting perspective.

@ Wolfmoon — your comment is a good opportunity to link to a recent Neon Revolt (“NR”) article about Hollywood. NR is part of the qAnon crowd, but this particular piece is his own research. It is long and a bit confusing, but honestly worth the effort to read.

Quick summary: The first part — the confusing part — is Neon Revolt “outing” himself as an anonymous poster on 4chan called “BlackListAnon.” Don’t worry about that part of the article. Not relevant to his larger point.

NR’s research: A guy named Franklin Leonard is a Soros puppet or a fellow traveler or an enthusiastic member of the libtard cult — however you want to think of it. Since 2005 or so, Leonard has been running something called the “Black List” in Hollywood. This is a list of scripts that are supposedly the “best” scripts. But in reality, the Black List is censoring conservative stories and promoting the libtard agenda. According to NR, this explains why hollywood and television and netflix are all so bad and full of communist themes and feminazi perversions.

NR documents the extensive network of people in the “entertainment” media all linked to the Demorats and to Soros funded advocacy groups. The breadth and depth of the network is eye-opening.

        As said, an amazing read.

It’s amazing how few people are needed for a takeover when there is herd behavior.

NOW I understand Obama and Susan Rice going to Netflix. Everything makes sense. They can shill the board any time they want to keep stuff IN PLAY or OUT OF PLAY – “What does Black List think? Was that one on Black List?” Oh, it’s TOO EASY. All they have to do is approve sketchy placements – undoubtedly race-based and impervious to criticism – and they can take over the whole thing and turn it to 24/7 cultural Marxism.

So many here are apoplectic that some speak of killing these invaders simply because the invaders are not in uniform and carrying armaments of some sort and there are a few women and children among them. I guess it’s OK with the sensitive posters that American women like Kate Steinle and American children like Jamiel Shaw are murdered by these unarmed, peaceful invaders once they achieve their goal and breach our borders. Maybe the little sensitive snowflakes will lose someone close to them to an illegal alien. Once they do, perhaps that will change their mind.

I have had a violent encounter with “Salvatruchans” in Tallahassee (I know they were from El Salvador because they had Salvatruchan on the back of their new pickup truck– one even I couldn’t afford.) These people are NOT nice. They are not grateful to be here. They are not an asset to our nation. They are pushy, violent, entitled, and, let me be clear, they HATE whitey and, if possible, they hate Black folks even more. Look at the Mexican gang violence against Blacks in Los Angeles if you doubt that last statement. It is ethnic cleansing. It is genocide.

Can you believe anyone would even bat an eyelash over harming or killing these people to keep them from invading our country? These invaders know we don’t want them. They give us the literal middle finger and say they are coming for the reconquista and then they come anyway.

If people are torn up over what the Zero and Cankles did to Guatemala and Honduras so the fruit companies could keep their slave labor, get CONgress to pass funding for the PEOPLE of those nations, support State to help those countries get rid of drug lords, support a fair trade treaty with a fair minimum wage clause for those countries, encourage NGOs to work with the governments to improve education, and a lot of other positive things. You help people where they live. You don’t bring them home with you. Or are you inviting all of the hurricane victims from the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia to come live at your place? I mean, many of those poor folks don’t have homes, they don’t have electricity, we are still sending water and food to them, their kids’ schools are destroyed…….get the picture, do gooders?

I guess the sensitive posters forgot the chilling words of the Imam who was videotaped telling Europe that the Muslims that invaded at Merde-Hell’s invite would conquer Europe with their wombs. We never learn in the West. We have no evolutionary survival strategy. We have no tribalism. We see everyone in the world as a best buddy and “same-same” wagging all over like a dumb Lab greeting the robber at the front door with the keys in it’s mouth. We have no agreed-upon and inherent cohesion as to our own genetic RIGHT to exist.

“Camp of the Saints” was prophetic.

That said. I don’t care if these invaders die. I have no compassion for them. Sorry.

Good analysis. Xi and Putin “may” very well be helping PDJT too… handing him the gift of all gifts… a test. To pass and win it all, or fail, and be broken. High stakes poker. There are famous sayings about being blessed with enormous challenges that break weaker men, but propel competent men who prevail to unraveled domination. These events are presented, no to a weak man, but to a strong one. One with conviction and street smarts.

I don’t know how he’ll prevail, but…. he’s got chops and he’s been in scraps before. He’s no snowflake, and he’s old enough to know what is riding on everything. Trump gets his wall now. No question. Immigration reform: guaranteed Congress does his bidding to undo the 1965 mess that Teddy Kennedy foisted upon the country. A REAL realignment of national priorities on immigration and nationalism. High stakes.

President Trump is blessed by his enemies and his opponents. If all SD posits above is correct, Xi, Putin and Maduro have teed up a problem that must be addressed. It’s like a superhero movie or epic tale of old. Trump is getting hammered with issues and tests…. and he’s becoming stronger and his supporters rigid and steadfast. The fun part. Look how the media is completely ignoring the last hurricane and aftermath. Trump stole that ” Katrina ” crap from the media… so they don’t use it. He’s had 5 hurricanes in 2 years. That the msm can’t bager him with disaster relief and rebuilding is telling… and to me, it’s prophetic for what lies ahead.

Any other politician,… modern one, would be in a major tit right now with the caravan approaching, and midterms and so much on the line. I doubt PDJT is bothered at all. He sees this, like Patton viewed the Battle of the Bulge. An opportunity to achieve things not often offered up, but when handled, give the victor unquestionable advantage and superiority. Fight the good fight. I hope the President pulls something out of his bag that we aren’t going to know about for years.

Lots of issues to deal with, but too, if they are all connected, as SD says, deal with them and bam, you are king. So we’ll see. Interesting times. I love it so. ( never let a crisis go to waste )

Interesting that he resigned as Vice President in June this year. Russia and China may be calling in this operation as collateral on their investment, but it is Hezbollah which is providing the impetus, infrastructure and networks to implement this assault on America’s sovereignty.

Just speculating, but Brennan, Obama, Jarrett, Kerry, probably the Clintons, could have a finger in the pie here as well in providing insider information. Oh, and two other incidents — we flew in with SCUBA gear. The customs inspection is where you are reunited with your bags and leave the terminal. Everyone else on our flight had someplace to go, but we were on an overnight stopover before flying to Roatan the next day. So we noted all the executives handing over mordida (“little bite” — a bribe) to get passed over expeditiously and get going. We were amused and a bit curious, so we just sat and laughed……

……until we were literally the last passengers in the terminal. The customs staff was still holding out until it became obvious they were going to miss their dinners and have to put in a full 8 hours on the job, at which point they grudgingly put our bags on the counter, unzipped them, and gaped — WTF is this stuff?!?!? We explained that it was for SCUBA diving and we were headed out to Roatan the next day and they couldn’t get rid of us fast enough.

About a week later, on our way out of Honduras, our taxi took us off onto side roads because the local police were doing a shakedown on the main highway. They’d tow a taxi (filled with tourists’ stuff) for an imaginary tail-light problem unless there was $100 “I see nothing” payment.

It was a not unreasonably unsafe (at the time) glimpse into a world of total corruption. The constabulary and customs were no more than roving bandits in uniforms. This was before San Pedro Sula became a murder capital, as well.

Embrace the power of “and”. I am not at all sure that Russia or China could come up with the invasion “caravan” on their own. But Soros and his human rights “activists” could. Soros wants to stay in the background (as do the Democrats if they are involved) but the money has to come from somewhere. Where better than the broke, clapped out, regime in Venezuela. The only problem being that Venszuela has no money. But its creditors do.

The best thing about the caravan is what a terrible political idea it is. The caravan looks like what the Syrian invaders of Europe looked like. You don’t have to be terrifically right wing to think all these people arriving in the US all at once is a bad idea.

Optically, sending in the Warthogs would suck so that is not going to happen. The hurricane – and thank you Dick Cheney and the Rothchilds for lending America the “weather machine” /s – is a bit too far north. So now a lot of stealth and guile, in the form of slashed tires and outright bribes, will start pealing away the members of the caravan. But, a few hundred miles into Mexico, the caravan will meet rather more serious people. Mexican troops with US advisers working to peel off chunks of the thing. $1000 USD and a bus ticket home.

In the end, Trump will decide if it will help him politically to take a stand at the US border. The caravan is pure politics and the response needs to be political as well, Name and shame the organizers and the financiers. But make a decision about whether a single person in that caravan comes across to the US.

At a bet, no one identified in the caravan, and all the pictures are in the facial recog databanks, is coming to America, or, more exactly, getting in.

Sec. Pompeo would not be making such strong statements, unless he was very much planning on backing them up, and had the “how-to’s” already figured out.

No begging or pleading, ohhh, caravan, please turn around …

So, curious — how does POTUS stop them? What say ye, fellow Treepers?

    I’ll offer a few thoughts —

One scenario — at the US/Mex border, US troops form a line each carrying a machine gun. As the people in the caravan approach, the troops fire; blood, screaming; some are wounded; ambulances; thousands dies —-

The propaganda media has a “field day” using the word “massacre” 10,000 times in a 24-hour news cycle; endless images of the death and wounded; countless stories in the months ahead about the “victims” recovering in their hospital bed; families weeping; funeral processions; on and on.

Scenario Two — at the border, the troops fire tear gas, rubber bullets, etc. First, how many troops? To “win” you generally need a 3 to 1 advantage; so assume 30,000 US troops — are there 30,000 US troops heading to the California/Mexico border?

Here, the propaganda media has a “field day” using the images of the billowing and blowing tear gas, the crying of the “victims,” etc. Might not be “real” images, Think Pallywood; think the media images on the day that the US embassy opened in Jerusalem.

Variation Three — what if the libtards in San Diego county decide to “help” the caravan by protesting/attacking the US troops “from behind?” Are US troops now firing tear gas and rubber bullets at the “American” crowds?

The propaganda media has a “field day” ….

Variation Four — US has 1,000 troops on the border; they try and arrest the members of the caravan; thousands overwhelm the troops, climb the walls and fences (like in April 2018) giving the “finger” to the troops.

The propaganda media has a “field day” — the alt-right media shows all the images of chaos and more illegals hating on America —

    Scenario Five — ???

    Thoughts?

Honestly, I do not know what the US is planning and/or what the government is WILLING to do. Big questions for me: Which scenario(s) help get Republicans elected? Which scenario(s) help the DemoRats?

Maybe some cartels will be unhappy, but … give the President time to win the midterms, get funding for the whole wall, AND immigration reform out of Congress.

Truth to tell, you could send about three hundred Boy Scouts and get the job done. the only problem being the Boy Scouts would not be able to shoot their way out if there were caught,

Kind of like a “come and get it” offer, so it would make sense that China and Russia may be in play. The reason I think this invasion is different is because so many players have ganged up against the US. It is my opinion our troops should engage the invaders on Mexican soil and never allow them to come close to our borders. Corral them in Mexico and process them back to their countries of origin, tag them as enemies of the State. They need to be made a deterrent example, not an alluring incentive.

The use of Venezuela as a cat’s paw is an oopsie Checkers play by the Chinese and the Russians that sets Trump up to quintuple jump their pieces all the way across the board.

Declare that the “caravan” is a hostile invasion from Venezuela (as Pence has just done, with no need to mention China or Russia), announce that the War Powers act will be invoked in order to detain everyone who illegally crosses the border in a prisoner of war camp where they will be held until the conflict has been resolved, at which point they will all be repatriated to their countries of origin (or to Honduras, or Mexico, or Venezuela).

To fix the consequences of their decisions into the minds of the invaders, announce also that every detainee will have a DNA sample taken and that none of these bio-marker-identified individuals will EVER be allowed legal entry to the United States. They are warned: try to cross now and you NEVER get in. The whole group will probably turn away. If not, so be it.

This is just what Trump needed, a way to identify this invading army with an actual nation that is waging war on us. By trying to use Venezuela as a cat’s paw China and Russia put that crucial element in place. There is now no obstacle to a War Powers response by President Trump.

He was talking about sending troops to the border but what were they going to do? Wouldn’t they have to issue the same notices to appear that the Border Patrol has had to issue? Not under the War Powers act. With a War Power action they can treat the caravan as the invading hostile force that it is.

It’s going to be the best Checkers play in history.

though you have not acknowledged me,
      6
so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
      7

      I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the Lord, do all these things.
