Please pray for my sister in law, Dani, 77. She is in the hospital, ICU. She was feeling badly all day and began passing out and seizing this evening. She is responding to medication to raise her heart rate. Anxiety med calming her. She’ll have a head/neck CT tonight. They were going to do an emergency pacemaker insertion tonight but since she is responding to meds she will be scheduled for that sometime within 3 days.
My dear sister has been a mess over these past 3 weeks. She decided to move back home to Southern California. The week before the move she totaled her car. The airbag bruised her chest and broke her glasses. It also caused a bleed in one eye which she had surgery on 2 days before leaving. She’s only been home a week and now this.
Please pray our Lord will guide her doctors to the reason this is happening and the right corrections for her growing health issues. She moved home to be with her children and grandchildren. Thank you all so very much. I love you all!
Praying for your sister-in-love, Dani, Deb. So very sorry to hear about this very stressful time for her. Sounds as though she is near her dear family in the nick of time. I pray for her restfulness, peace of mind, and comfort as she heals and rehabilitates.
Thank you, JWoo. She did return to family in the nick of time. She is first this morning for the pacemaker.
Dani and I have been friends since 1969, sisters in law since 1970 and sisters in Jesus a few years after that. We’ve held each other up through good and bad, such a blessing!
Deb, your dear sister has been through a lot, and I’m sorry.
It’s hard to bear up under several stresses at once, especially in older age.
I will pray that God brings healing, strength, and comfort to her today and in the future.
O Lord, please provide everything that Dani, Deb’s sister, needs. You know each one and sustain all things by Your powerful Word.
Please give the medical team skills, good judgment, and compassion as they assist her.
Gracious God, please remain at Dani’s sickbed and envelop her with Your Presence.
May Dani be filled with contentment because You are with her.
Give Dani and all of the family the blessing of Your peace, O Lord.
Assure them all that they are under Your watchful eye, and held in Your everlasting arms.
Lord, please be their Refuge and Guide for every moment.
Draw them – each one – close to Thee, and may Your perfect will be done.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
What a beautiful prayer. Thank you so much Miss Della. She is holding her own currently. We are praising our Lord for that.
That is great news, Deb ❤️
Agreeing in prayer with my sisters for a healing touch from the Lord to be upon Dani. God bless you so much, Deb.
I am in a sales position and am 56 years old. I was in an industry that collapsed due to covid and am now in a completely different industry. I did progressively well my first 3 years but have been really struggling since the beginning of this year and I am afraid I may lose my job as early as tomorrow. Please pray for me to be able to overcome whatever comes. Thanks.
Praying.
Hi Mary,
Sometimes God moves mountains for us. I will pray that whatever may come, that God will open new doors for you to adventures you never dreamed imaginable. Commit to Him all your ways and He Will make your paths straight.
During times when my life was really uncertain, I journaled to Him. Giving Him just a few months, I was able to look back and see His Divine Provision at every turn. Maybe that practice would be helpful to you, too?
Will be praying for you.
Mary, May the Lord give you His peace in this situation as He leads you through uncertainty.
May He fill your heart and mind with trust in Him – and His ways.
Dear Lord, We humbly ask You to provide Mary with all that she needs for future days – physical, emotional, spiritual.
Remind her to not worry about tomorrow, because You are already there.
You take care of the birds, and Your eye will be on Mary.
Lord, guide her in the next phase of life and employment; be her Shelter in the storm.
Please go before Mary, and be her rear Guard, shining Your Light upon the way she should go.
Strengthen her faith, O Lord, and lead Mary to green pastures, still waters, and contentment in You, her Good Shepherd.
Remove any fear, and give her assurance of Your Presence and Your love.
Thank You, Gracious God, for all You will do to see Mary through all of her life.
Nothing is too hard for You, and we are grateful.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.
UPDATE:
My SIL had her pacemaker installed this morning. Her doctor said her heart and blood looks very good. She is moving out of ICU and possibly going home on Wednesday. Praising the Lord here for His great mercy, grace and healing.
My niece says her mom is quite chatty this afternoon. LOL
Thank you again for your prayers.
Thanks be to God!
That is TERRIFIC NEWS, Deb!!! So grateful to God for His Mercy on her behalf!
Praise God for that! Thanks for letting us know, Deb.
