Six Secret Service Agents Suspended from 10 to 42 Days for Failures in Butler, PA and Failed Assassination Attempt on President Trump

The popular headlines read that six secret service agents were suspended last month.  However, a more fulsome review of the disciplinary action highlights a slight slap on the wrist as the suspensions were from 10 to 42 days.

The disciplinary action follows an internal review of the failures of the Secret Service during President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania that almost cost him his life.

WASHINGTON – Six agents were suspended by the U.S. Secret Service for failures connected to last year’s attempted assassination of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, an official told ABC News.

The personnel moves were confirmed four days shy of the anniversary of the July 13, 2024, shooting incident that left Trump’s ear bloodied.

Corey Comperatore, a firefighter attending Trump’s campaign rally that day, died in the attack.

[…] The discipline against the six agents was issued in recent months, and the agents were given the right to appeal. The suspensions ranged from 10 to 42 days, according to the official, who was briefed on the agency’s actions.

Dept of Ag Shuts Down U.S. Southern Border Ports to Livestock Trade Due to Screw Worm Spread Through Mexico

Announcement from Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins: “I have ordered an immediate shutdown of live cattle, bison, and horse trade through the southern U.S.–Mexico border. This decisive action comes after Mexico confirmed another case of New World Screwworm in Veracruz.”

(Washington, D.C., July 9, 2025)– Yesterday, Mexico’s National Service of Agro-Alimentary Health, Safety, and Quality (SENASICA) reported a new case of New World Screwworm (NWS) in Ixhuatlan de Madero, Veracruz in Mexico, which is approximately 160 miles northward of the current sterile fly dispersal grid, on the eastern side of the country and 370 miles south of the U.S./Mexico border.

This new northward detection comes approximately two months after northern detections were reported in Oaxaca and Veracruz, less than 700 miles away from the U.S. border, which triggered the closure of our ports to Mexican cattle, bison, and horses on May 11, 2025.

[…] Therefore, in order to protect American livestock and our nation’s food supply, Secretary Rollins has ordered the closure of livestock trade through southern ports of entry effective immediately. (read more)

Twitter CEO Resigns as Elon Musk’s Epic Political Meltdown Continues

Following Elon Musk’s decision to start a new political party Twitter/X platform CEO Linda Yaccarino announces her departure.  Musk responds with a polite, “Thank you for your contributions.”

(VIA X) – After two incredible years, I’ve decided to step down as CEO of 𝕏.

When [Elon Musk] and I first spoke of his vision for X, I knew it would be the opportunity of a lifetime to carry out the extraordinary mission of this company. I’m immensely grateful to him for entrusting me with the responsibility of protecting free speech, turning the company around, and transforming X into the Everything App.

I’m incredibly proud of the X team – the historic business turn around we have accomplished together has been nothing short of remarkable.

We started with the critical early work necessary to prioritize the safety of our users—especially children, and to restore advertiser confidence. This team has worked relentlessly from groundbreaking innovations like Community Notes, and, soon, X Money to bringing the most iconic voices and content to the platform. Douglass Mackey, aka “Ricky Vaughn”, Wins Second Circuit Court of Appeals – Dismissing Egregious First Amendment Prosecution

The background of the insufferable case is HERE and HERE.

Today, the second circuit court of appeals finally overturns one of the most ridiculous Obama/Biden dystopian lawfare cases against the first amendment.  Defendant Douglass Mackey wins his appeal and the case is dismissed [RULING HERE]

The ridiculous case was against Douglass Mackey, aka Twitter user Ricky Vaughn, who posted a silly meme against Hillary Clinton in 2016.  The Biden DOJ prosecuted Mackey saying he was part of a conspiracy to rob Clinton of the election, by posting memes of disinformation around the election.

Mackey was tried and convicted in New York; however, finally an appeals court looked at the stupidity of it and ruled in his favor, sending the case back to the lower court for dismissal.

Literally all the guy did was post snarky memes poking fun of democrats and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election…  However, the United States government claimed: “the defendant exploited a social media platform to infringe one the of most basic and sacred rights guaranteed by the Constitution: the right to vote.”

WSJ, NYT and WaPo Authors Promote Leaked Audio of Trump Threatening Xi and Putin

CNN state media narrative engineers (think State Dept. in all things CNN) are running with a story to promote a new book by Josh Dawsey (Wall Street Journal – Author), Tyler Pager (New York Times – Author), Isaac Arnsdorf (Washington Post – Author) where they write about an audio segment by candidate Trump telling NY donors how he threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping.

The leaked audio is essentially unremarkable as President Trump has told this story several times. However, the background context is more interesting when we consider the motives of the WSJ, NYT and WaPo. Here’s the segment:

The WSJ is against President Trump based on economics; WSJ representing Wall Street. The NYT is against President Trump based on DHS/DOJ domestic opposition from within DC. The WaPo is against President Trump based on the CIA position and larger intelligence community. None of the motives within these outlets are challenged by the intellectually honest political observers.

So, what’s the play here?
