Justin from Canada and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, used the invocation of the Canadian Emergency Powers Act to seize Truckers’ and their supporters bank accounts, block mortgages, eliminate loans and credit cards, seize personal assets and otherwise use financial mechanisms to target their political opposition.
Yesterday a federal judge in Canada ruled the use of the Emergency Powers Act was unconstitutional.
CANADA – […] On Feb. 14, 2022, the federal government invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in its history, arguing at the time that the national security risks stemming from the protests justified its use.
The move allowed the federal government to enact wide-sweeping but temporary powers to help officials crack down on protesters’ access to funds, grant the RCMP jurisdiction to enforce local laws, designate critical infrastructure and services, and impose fines and imprisonment on participants who refused to leave the protest zone.
“I have concluded that the decision to issue the Proclamation does not bear the hallmarks of reasonableness – justification, transparency and intelligibility – and was not justified in relation to the relevant factual and legal constraints that were required to be taken into consideration,” stated Federal Court Justice Richard Mosley.
In order to control information that may be averse to the regime in charge, various totalitarian government operations require registration. The registration process generates a permit that can then be leveraged against any operation that doesn’t conform to the regime fiats.
A few days ago, the North American hub of speech and information control known as Canada, announced that all internet hosting platforms that give voice to podcasters must register with the government.
Additionally, it appears that any podcast who wishes to provide information must also register. The users and viewers do not need to register, only those providing the content.
Gee, I wonder who the core target is here?
CANADA – Today, the CRTC is advancing its regulatory plan to modernize Canada’s broadcasting framework and ensure online streaming services make meaningful contributions to Canadian and Indigenous content.
On May 12, 2023, the CRTC launched its first public consultations. After thoroughly examining all the evidence on the public record, including over 200 interventions, the CRTC is issuing its first two decisions.
First, the CRTC is setting out which online streaming services need to provide information about their activities in Canada. Online streaming services that operate in Canada, offer broadcasting content, and earn $10 million or more in annual revenues will need to complete a registration form by November 28, 2023. Registration collects basic information, is only required once and can be completed in just a few steps.
As hard as it might be to believe, Canada gave 98-year-old Nazi war criminal, Yaroslav Hunka, a standing ovation in the House of Commons. Speaker Anthony Rota drew attention to Hunka and introduced him as a war hero who fought for the First Ukrainian Division. However, the First Ukrainian Division also was known as the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, or the SS 14th Waffen Division, a Ukrainian unit of Nazis under the command of German Nazis.
Earlier today, as a result of the world discovering that Canada was harboring Nazi fugitive Yaroslav Hunka, the Polish government requested his return to Europe to stand trial for war crimes. The entire episode has become a major political embarrassment for Canada. Moments after Poland sent their letter to Canada, the Speaker of the House of Commons resigned. WATCH:
From fighting Nazis, to giving them a standing ovation in the Canadian House of Commons. Quite an arc of history here; where arc’s might be shaped like pretzels.
Oh dear, this is not good. Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old immigrant from Ukraine, was introduced by Anthony Rota, Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons, as “a Ukrainian-Canadian war veteran from the Second World War who fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians” and “a Ukrainian hero and a Canadian hero,” ignoring the horrific fact that Hunka served in the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, a Nazi military unit whose crimes against humanity during the Holocaust are well-documented.
OTTAWA, Ont. — A ranking Canadian parliamentarian is apologizing to Jewish communities around the world for a blunder during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit that led to lawmakers honoring a veteran accused of belonging to a Nazi division in WWII.
It followed demands by Canadian Jewish organizations Sunday for an apology after it was revealed members of Parliament across party lines awarded a 98-year-old veteran on Friday with a standing ovation shortly after Zelenskyy addressed Canada’s House of Commons.
Earlier today President Trump kicked off a new coalition of Farmers for Trump in Council Bluffs, Iowa {Direct Rumble Link}.
While much of the first segment of the speech covers topics of significant importance to farming and agriculture, President Trump also expanded his remarks to cover current political events. WATCH:
If you understand what Samantha Power does via her role in using USAID as the mechanism to advance the color revolutions around the globe, these remarks from Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador are subtle like a brick through a window.
Power has recently been trying to create political turmoil in Hungary [HERE] and Georgia [HERE].
However, after AMLO delivered a speech where he called out Joe Biden, the DEA and the CIA for trying to interfere in Mexico [HERE], many people reading here predicted Samantha Power would now show up in Mexico.
Those of you who made that prediction were correct. You guys are smart!
Keep in mind that nearly a million central American economic migrants can be unleashed by AMLO, and likely will be, as Joe Biden and the Mexican president have faced off for almost two years over North American energy policy. Stunningly, AMLO has not backed down an inch, and instead went on the offensive against Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau. This put a target on his back and was likely the impetus for U.S. intelligence agencies to call upon Samantha Power to do her thing.
MEXICO CITY, May 3 (Reuters) – Mexico’s president asked his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden to stop the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) from funding groups hostile to his government, according to a letter presented to journalists on Wednesday, echoing previous Mexican criticism of U.S. interventionism.
President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador did not specify which Mexican groups the U.S. should stop funding, but he has in the past accused several media organizations of being part of a conservative movement against his government.
Gifted singer, songwriter and the connective thread that runs through the memories of our lives, Gordon Lightfoot, has died. He was 84.
A gifted Canadian artist from ordinary means, Mr. Lightfoot’s hits include, “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Early Morning Rain,” “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” and “Sundown,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1974.
“Sometimes I wonder why I’m being called an icon, because I really don’t think of myself that way,” Mr. Lightfoot told The Globe and Mail in 2008. “I’m a professional musician, and I work with very professional people. It’s how we get through life.” (NYT)
One of his great song lines, …”the hero would be me, but heroes often fail.” Gordon Lightfoot’s songs are sprinkled throughout multiple links in the chain of our lives. Each song reminding us of our memory attached to the moments of it. This passing hits a little harder.
Joe Biden is in Canada visiting Justin Trudeau Friday and they held a joint press conference. WATCH:
[Transcript] – We’ll be taking two questions from the American delegation, two questions from the Canadian delegation. One question and one follow-up.
Mr. President, first question over to you.
PRESIDENT BIDEN: All right. I guess the first person I’m calling on is Josh. Josh Boak. Josh?
Q Thank you, Mr. President. Two questions, one for each of you.
Mr. President, you talked today about the security and economic partnership with Canada. President Xi just went to Russia and expanded China’s economic commitment with that country. Why do you think many leading countries are choosing to form competing partnerships? And what does that mean for the world?
Let it not be said that Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador (AMLO) does not understand what the Biden administration is attempting in the recent criticism and passive aggressive posturing toward Mexico.
Yesterday, AMLO was outlining a specific set of infrastructure initiatives that are ongoing. Three new oil refineries together with new railroads and highways are under construction as the government continues positioning itself for energy independence. [Video Here] However, it’s what he said after the energy remarks that’s really stunning.
The energy plan, which runs counter to the expressed demands of Canada and the United States, includes two regional ‘green’ refineries that will have the ability of turning used cooking oil into fuel. However, the plan also includes new oil refinery capacity that will permit cheap gasoline independent of the need for Mexican oil to be refined in Texas and returned.
All of the refinery projects are on schedule to be completed by the end of this year and into 2024. In essence, Mexico will have very cheap gasoline and diesel fuel in the near future. This was previously outlined as a goal by AMLO in July 2022, and is against the interests the Biden administration. Now those plans are becoming a reality. Mexico is not joining the North American suicide mission of windmills, solar panels and reliance on unstable green energy.
Ever since the July 2022 Oval Office press conference at the White House, CTH has been saying to keep an eye on Mexico, because these energy plans align more with the BRICS nation agenda than the goals and objectives of the World Economic Forum (western nations). It is not accidental the U.S. government, including our intelligence agencies and DHS, has been seeding a negative overall impression of Mexico ever since.
