A Common Misconception About The Origin of Spygate – Political Surveillance In The Era of President Obama…

With the release of recent transcripts and the declassification of material from within the IG report on the Carter Page FISA, there is a common misconception about why the intelligence apparatus began investigating the Trump campaign.  In this outline we hope to provide some deep source material that will explain the origin, and specifically why the those inside the Intelligence Community began using Confidential Human Sources.

During the time-frame of December 2015 through April 2016 the NSA database was being exploited by contractors within the intelligence community doing unauthorized searches.

On March 9, 2016, oversight personnel doing a review of FBI system access were alerted to thousands of unauthorized search queries of specific U.S. persons within the NSA database.

NSA Director Mike Rogers was made aware.

Subsequently NSA Director Rogers initiated a full compliance review of the system to identify who was doing the searches; & what searches were being conducted.

On April 18, 2016, following the preliminary audit results, Director Rogers shut down all FBI contractor access to the database after he learned FISA-702 “about”(17) and “to/from”(16) search queries were being done without authorization.  Thus begins the first discovery of a much bigger background story.

When you compile the timeline with the people involved; and the specific wording of the resulting review, which was then delivered to the FISA court; and overlay the activity that was taking place in the GOP primary; what we discover is a process where the metadata collected by the NSA was being searched for political opposition research and surveillance.

Additionally, tens-of-thousands of searches were identified by the FISA court as likely extending much further than the compliance review period: “while the government reports it is unable to provide a reliable estimate of the non compliant queries since 2012, there is no apparent reason to believe the November 2015 [to] April 2016 period coincided with an unusually high error rate”.

In short, during the Obama administration the NSA database was continually used to conduct surveillance.  This is the critical point that leads to understanding the origin of “Spygate”, as it unfolded in the Spring and Summer of 2016.

It was the discovery of the database exploitation and the removal of access as a surveillance tool that created their initial problem.  Here’s how we can tell.

Initially in December 2015 there were 17 GOP candidates and all needed to be researched.

However, when Donald Trump won New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina the field was significantly whittled. Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich and Carson remained.

On Super Tuesday, March 2, 2016, Donald Trump won seven states (VT, AR, VA, GA, AL, TN, MA) it was then clear that Trump was the GOP frontrunner with momentum to become the presumptive nominee.  On March 5th, Trump won Kentucky and Louisiana; and on March 8th Trump won Michigan, Mississippi and Hawaii.

The next day, March 9th, NSA security alerts warned internal oversight personnel that something sketchy was going on.

This timing is not coincidental.  As FISA Judge Rosemary Collyer later wrote in her report, “many of these non-compliant queries involved the use of the same identifiers over different date ranges.”  Put another way: attributes belonging to a specific individual(s) were being targeted and queried, unlawfully.  Given what was later discovered, it seems obvious the primary search target, over multiple date ranges, was Donald Trump.

There were tens-of-thousands of unauthorized search queries; and as Judge Collyer stated in her report, there is no reason to believe the 85% non compliant rate was any different from the abuse of the NSA database going back to 2012.

As you will see below the NSA database was how political surveillance was being conducted during Obama’s second term in office.  However, when the system was flagged, and when NSA Director Mike Rogers shut down “contractor” access to the system, the system users needed to develop another way to get access.

Mike Rogers shuts down access on April 18, 2016.  On April 19, 2016, Fusion-GPS founder Glenn Simpson’s wife, Mary Jacoby visits the White House.  Immediately thereafter, the DNC and Clinton campaign contract Fusion GPS… who then hire Christopher Steele.

Knowing it was federal “contractors”, outside government with access to the system, doing the unauthorized searches, the question becomes: who were the contractors?

The possibilities are quite vast. Essentially anyone the FBI or intelligence apparatus was using could have participated.  Crowdstrike was a known FBI contractor; they were also contracted by the DNC.  Shawn Henry was the former head of the FBI office in DC and is now the head of Crowdstrike; a rather dubious contractor for the government and a politically connected data security and forensic company.  James Comey’s special friend Daniel Richman was an unpaid FBI “special employee” with security access to the database.  Nellie Ohr began working for Fusion-GPS on the Trump project in November 2015 and she was a CIA contractor; and it’s entirely likely Glenn Simpson or people within his Fusion-GPS network were also contractors for the intelligence community.

Remember the Sharyl Attkisson computer intrusions?  It’s all part of this same network; Attkisson even names Shawn Henry as a defendant in her ongoing lawsuit.

All of the aforementioned names, and so many more, held a political agenda in 2016.

It seems likely if the NSA flags were never triggered then the contracted system users would have continued exploiting the NSA database for political opposition research; which would then be funneled to the Clinton team.  However, once the unauthorized flags were triggered, the system users (including those inside the official intelligence apparatus) needed to find another back-door to continue… Again, the timing becomes transparent.

Immediately after NSA flags were raised March 9th; the same intelligence agencies began using confidential human sources (CHS’s) to run into the Trump campaign.  By activating intelligence assets like Joseph Mifsud and Stefan Halper the IC (CIA, FBI) and system users had now created an authorized way to continue the same political surveillance operations.

When Donald Trump hired Paul Manafort on March 28, 2016, it was a perfect scenario for those doing the surveillance.   Manafort was a known entity to the FBI and was previously under investigation.  Paul Manafort’s entry into the Trump orbit was perfect for Glenn Simpson to sell his prior research on Manafort as a Trump-Russia collusion script two weeks later.

The shift from “unauthorized exploitation of the NSA database” to legally authorized exploitation of the NSA database was now in place. This was how they continued the political surveillance. This is the confluence of events that originated “spygate”, or what officially blossomed into the FBI investigation known as “Crossfire Hurricane” on July 31.

If the NSA flags were never raised; and if Director Rogers had never initiated the compliance audit; and if the political contractors were never blocked from access to the database; they would never have needed to create a legal back-door, a justification to retain the surveillance.  The political operatives/contractors would have just continued the targeted metadata exploitation.

Once they created the surveillance door, Fusion-GPS was then needed to get the FBI known commodity of Chris Steele activated as a pipeline. Into that pipeline all system users pushed opposition research.  However, one mistake from the NSA database extraction during an “about” query shows up as a New Yorker named Michael Cohen in Prague.

That misinterpreted data from a FISA-702 “about query” is then piped to Steele and turns up inside the dossier; it was the wrong Michael Cohen. It wasn’t Trump’s lawyer, it was an art dealer from New York City with the same name; the same “identifier”.

A DEEP DIVE – How Did It Work?

Start by reviewing the established record from the 99-page FISC opinion rendered by Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer on April 26, 2017. Review the details within the FISC opinion.

I would strongly urge everyone to read the FISC report (full pdf below) because Judge Collyer outlines how the DOJ, which includes the FBI, had an “institutional lack of candor” in responses to the FISA court. In essence, the Obama administration was continually lying to the FISA court about their activity, and the rate of fourth amendment violations for illegal searches and seizures of U.S. persons’ private information for multiple years.

Unfortunately, due to intelligence terminology Judge Collyer’s brief and ruling is not an easy read for anyone unfamiliar with the FISA processes. That complexity also helps the media avoid discussing it; and as a result most Americans have no idea the scale and scope of the Obama-era surveillance issues. So we’ll try to break down the language.

For the sake of brevity and common understanding CTH will highlight the most pertinent segments showing just how systemic and troublesome the unlawful electronic surveillance was.

Early in 2016 NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers was alerted of a significant uptick in FISA-702(17) “About” queries using the FBI/NSA database that holds all metadata records on every form of electronic communication.

The NSA compliance officer alerted Admiral Mike Rogers who then initiated a full compliance audit on/around March 9th, 2016, for the period of November 1st, 2015, through May 1st, 2016.

While the audit was ongoing, due to the severity of the results that were identified, Admiral Mike Rogers stopped anyone from using the 702(17) “about query” option, and went to the extraordinary step of blocking all FBI contractor access to the database on April 18, 2016 (keep these dates in mind).

Here are some significant segments:

The key takeaway from these first paragraphs is how the search query results were exported from the NSA database to users who were not authorized to see the material. The FBI contractors were conducting searches and then removing, or ‘exporting’, the results. Later on, the FBI said all of the exported material was deleted.

Searching the highly classified NSA database is essentially a function of filling out search boxes to identify the user-initiated search parameter and get a return on the search result.

♦ FISA-702(16) is a search of the system returning a U.S. person (“702”); and the “16” is a check box to initiate a search based on “To and From“. Example, if you put in a date and a phone number and check “16” as the search parameter the user will get the returns on everything “To and From” that identified phone number for the specific date. Calls, texts, contacts etc. Including results for the inbound and outbound contacts.

♦ FISA-702(17) is a search of the system returning a U.S. person (702); and the “17” is a check box to initiate a search based on everything “About” the search qualifier. Example, if you put a date and a phone number and check “17” as the search parameter the user will get the returns of everything about that phone. Calls, texts, contacts, geolocation (or gps results), account information, user, service provider etc. As a result, 702(17) can actually be used to locate where the phone (and user) was located on a specific date or sequentially over a specific period of time which is simply a matter of changing the date parameters.

And that’s just from a phone number.

Search an ip address “about” and read all data into that server; put in an email address and gain everything about that account. Or use the electronic address of a GPS enabled vehicle (about) and you can withdraw more electronic data and monitor in real time. Search a credit card number and get everything about the account including what was purchased, where, when, etc. Search a bank account number, get everything about transactions and electronic records etc. Just about anything and everything can be electronically searched; everything has an electronic ‘identifier’.

The search parameter is only limited by the originating field filled out. Names, places, numbers, addresses, etc. By using the “About” parameter there may be thousands or millions of returns. Imagine if you put “@realdonaldtrump” into the search parameter? You could extract all following accounts who interacted on Twitter, or Facebook etc. You are only limited by your imagination and the scale of the electronic connectivity.

As you can see below, on March 9th, 2016, internal auditors noted the FBI was sharing “raw FISA information, including but not limited to Section 702-acquired information”.

In plain English the raw search returns were being shared with unknown entities without any attempt to “minimize” or redact the results. The person(s) attached to the results were named and obvious. There was no effort to hide their identity or protect their 4th amendment rights of privacy; and database access was from the FBI network:

But what’s the scale here? This is where the story really lies.

Read this next excerpt carefully.

The operators were searching “U.S Persons”. The review of November 1, 2015, to May 1, 2016, showed “eighty-five percent of those queries” were unlawful or “non compliant”.

85% !! “representing [redacted number]”.

We can tell from the space of the redaction the number of searches were between 10,000 and 99,999 [six digits]. If we take the middle number of 50,000 – a non compliant rate of 85 percent means 42,500 unlawful searches out of 50,000.

The [six digit] amount (more than 10,000, less than 99,999), and 85% error rate, was captured in a six month period, November 2015 to April 2016.

Also notice this very important quote: “many of these non-compliant queries involved the use of the same identifiers over different date ranges.” This tells us the system users were searching the same phone number, email address, electronic identifier, repeatedly over different dates.

Specific person(s) were being tracked/monitored.

Additionally, notice the last quote: “while the government reports it is unable to provide a reliable estimate of” these non lawful searches “since 2012, there is no apparent reason to believe the November 2015 [to] April 2016 coincided with an unusually high error rate”.

That means the 85% unlawful FISA-702(16)(17) database abuse has likely been happening since 2012.

2012 is an important date in this database abuse because a network of specific interests is assembled that also shows up in 2016/2017:

  • Who was 2012 FBI Director? Robert Mueller, who was selected by the FBI group to become special prosecutor in 2017.
  • Who was Mueller’ chief-of-staff? Aaron Zebley, who became one of the lead lawyers on the Mueller special counsel.
  • Who was 2012 CIA Director? John Brennan (remember the ouster of Gen Petraeus)
  • Who was ODNI? James Clapper.
  • Remember, the NSA is inside the Pentagon (Defense Dept) command structure. Who was Defense Secretary? Ash Carter

Who wanted NSA Director Mike Rogers fired in 2016? Brennan, Clapper and Carter.

And finally, who wrote and signed-off-on the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment and then lied about the use of the Steele Dossier? The same John Brennan, and James Clapper along with James Comey.

Tens of thousands of searches over four years (since 2012), and 85% of them are illegal. The results were extracted for?…. (I believe this is all political opposition use; and I’ll explain why momentarily.)

OK, that’s the stunning scale; but who was involved?

Private contractors with access to “raw FISA information that went well beyond what was necessary to respond to FBI’s requests“:

And as noted, the contractor access was finally halted on April 18th, 2016.

[Coincidentally (or likely not), the wife of Fusion-GPS founder Glenn Simpson, Mary Jacoby, goes to the White House the very next day on April 19th, 2016.]

None of this is conspiracy theory.

All of this is laid out inside this 99-page opinion from FISC Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer who also noted that none of this FISA abuse was accidental in a footnote on page 87: “deliberate decisionmaking“:

This specific footnote, if declassified, could be a key. Note the phrase: “([redacted] access to FBI systems was the subject of an interagency memorandum of understanding entered into [redacted])”, this sentence has the potential to expose an internal decision; withheld from congress and the FISA court by the Obama administration; that outlines a process for access and distribution of surveillance data.

Note: “no notice of this practice was given to the FISC until 2016“, that is important.

Summary: The FISA court identified and quantified tens-of-thousands of search queries of the NSA/FBI database using the FISA-702(16)(17) system. The database was repeatedly used by persons with contractor access who unlawfully searched and extracted the raw results without redacting the information and shared it with an unknown number of entities.

The outlined process certainly points toward a political spying and surveillance operation; and we are not the only one to think that’s what this system is being used for.

Back in 2017 when House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes was working to reauthorize the FISA legislation, Nunes wrote a letter to ODNI Dan Coats about this specific issue:

SIDEBAR: To solve the issue, well, actually attempt to ensure it never happened again, NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers eventually took away the “About” query option permanently in 2017. NSA Director Rogers said the abuse was so inherent there was no way to stop it except to remove the process completely. [SEE HERE] Additionally, the NSA database operates as a function of the Pentagon, so the Trump administration went one step further. On his last day as NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers -together with ODNI Dan Coats- put U.S. cyber-command, the database steward, fully into the U.S. military as a full combatant command. [SEE HERE] Unfortunately it didn’t work as shown by the 2018 FISC opinion rendered by FISC Judge James Boasberg [SEE HERE]

There is little doubt the FISA-702(16)(17) database system was used by Obama-era officials, from 2012 through April 2016, as a way to spy on their political opposition.

Quite simply there is no other intellectually honest explanation for the scale and volume of database abuse that was taking place; and keep in mind these searches were all ruled to be unlawful. Searches for repeated persons over a period time that were not authorized.

When we reconcile what was taking place and who was involved, then the actions of the exact same principle participants take on a jaw-dropping amount of clarity.

All of the action taken by CIA Director Brennan, FBI Director Comey, ODNI Clapper and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter make sense. Including their effort to get NSA Director Mike Rogers fired.

Everything after March 9th, 2016, had a dual purpose: (1) done to cover up the weaponization of the FISA database. [Explained Here] Spygate, Russia-Gate, the Steele Dossier, and even the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (drawn from the dossier and signed by the above) were needed to create a cover-story and protect themselves from discovery of this four year weaponization, political surveillance and unlawful spying. Even the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel makes sense; he was FBI Director when this began. And (2) they needed to keep the surveillance going.

The beginning decision to use FISA(702) as a domestic surveillance and political spy mechanism appears to have started in/around 2012. Perhaps sometime shortly before the 2012 presidential election and before John Brennan left the White House and moved to CIA. However, there was an earlier version of data assembly that preceded this effort.

Political spying 1.0 was actually the weaponization of the IRS. This is where the term “Secret Research Project” originated as a description from the Obama team. It involved the U.S. Department of Justice under Eric Holder and the FBI under Robert Mueller. It never made sense why Eric Holder requested over 1 million tax records via CD ROM, until overlaying the timeline of the FISA abuse:

The IRS sent the FBI “21 disks constituting a 1.1 million page database of information from 501(c)(4) tax exempt organizations, to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” The transaction occurred in October 2010 (link)

Why disks? Why send a stack of DISKS to the DOJ and FBI when there’s a pre-existing financial crimes unit within the IRS. All of the evidence within this sketchy operation came directly to the surface in early spring 2012.

The IRS scandal was never really about the IRS, it was always about the DOJ asking the IRS for the database of information. That is why it was transparently a conflict when the same DOJ was tasked with investigating the DOJ/IRS scandal. Additionally, Obama sent his chief-of-staff Jack Lew to become Treasury Secretary; effectively placing an ally to oversee/cover-up any issues. As Treasury Secretary Lew did just that.

Lesson Learned – It would appear the Obama administration learned a lesson from attempting to gather a large opposition research database operation inside a functioning organization large enough to have some good people that might blow the whistle.

The timeline reflects a few months after realizing the “Secret Research Project” was now worthless (June 2012), they focused more deliberately on a smaller network within the intelligence apparatus and began weaponizing the FBI/NSA database. If our hunch is correct, that is what will be visible in footnote #69:

How this all comes together in 2019/2020

Fusion GPS was not hired in April 2016 to research Donald Trump. As shown in the evidence provided by the FISC, the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The Obama administration already knew everything about the Trump campaign, and were monitoring everything by exploiting the FISA database.

However, after the NSA alerts in/around March 9th, 2016, and particularly after the April 18th shutdown of contractor access, the Obama intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to create a legal albeit ex post facto justification for the pre-existing surveillance and spy operations. Fusion GPS gave them that justification in the Steele Dossier.

That’s why the FBI small group, which later transitioned into the Mueller team, were so strongly committed to and defending the formation of the Steele Dossier and its dubious content.

The Steele Dossier, an outcome of the Fusion contract, contains two purposes: (1) the cover-story and justification for the pre-existing surveillance operation (protect Obama); and (2) facilitate the FBI counterintelligence operation against the Trump campaign (assist Clinton).

An insurance policy would be needed. The Steele Dossier becomes the investigative virus the FBI wanted inside the system. To get the virus into official status, they used the FISA application as the delivery method and injected it into Carter Page. The FBI already knew Carter Page; essentially Carter Page was irrelevant, what they needed was the FISA warrant and the Dossier in the system {Go Deep}.

The Obama intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to give them a plausible justification for already existing surveillance and spy operations. Fusion-GPS gave them that justification and evidence for a FISA warrant with the Steele Dossier.

Ultimately that’s why the Steele Dossier was so important; without it, the FBI would not have a tool that Mueller needed to continue the investigation of President Trump.  In essence by renewing the FISA application, despite them knowing the underlying dossier was junk, the FBI was keeping the surveillance gateway open for Team Mueller to exploit later on.

Additionally, without the Steele Dossier the DOJ and FBI are naked with their FISA-702 abuse as outlined by John Ratcliffe.

Thankfully we know U.S. Attorney John Durham has talked to NSA Director Mike Rogers.  In this video Rogers explains how he was notified of what was happening and what he did after the notification.

Tend to believe that the Russian government never actually had anything to do with the 2016 Election. The entirety of the Steele Dossier was a fabrication of some Clinton Campaign mudslingers. The Russian Interference hoax was a tinman tale which produced an antagonist that didn’t really exist. It was designed to give the Clintonistas a reason to nullify the election should Donald Trump somehow manage to win that November. To this day the democrats and their crooked media would have us fear a weak, rebuilding nation, the Russian Federation, with a GDP about the size of California; all the while they ignore a real Axis of Evil threat which is China/NorthKorea/Iran.

“Republican Elites” is a KEY addition that I believe many fail to include in their calculations.

Firstly, WHY would we assume that these Contractors, conducting illegal and unauthorised search queries, were ONLY working for Democrats and Obama?

Such an operation would inevitably have come to the attention of the Republicans, if only by them noticing the results of the Dems having such a resource.

Candidate Donald Trump represented an existential threat to the,Republican party leadership (RNC) every bit as much as Bernie Sanders does, to the Democrat party.

We see the Republican party TRIED, very hard to undermine his campaign during the primaries, with many of the same techniques the Dems used against Bernie, such as a large group of contenders (splitter strategy).

Remember back, just how hard the Republican party tried to RESIST DJT?
How they bristled when he question the legacy of Bush, and the decision to go into ME?

And yet, unlike the Dems with Bernie, the Repubs stopped short of using ALL the resources they COULD have used, to stop DJT. Any who are familiar with how the,Republican party undermined Ron Pauls 2012 primary campaign against Romney, know that the Republicans stopped short of going “all in” to stop the Trump campaign.

Granted, one argument is that Bernie ‘sold out’ to the DNC, and Donald Trump refused to be bought.

There is, however another POSSIBLE explanation; that the “Republican” party was AWARE,of, and ALSO exploiting this unauthorised and illegal access to the NSA database since 2012.

That the “Republican” party leadership, and the Democrat party leadership, BOTH saw Donald Trump as an existential threat, and were working together to ‘take him out’.

To support this, we have McCain playing a role in getting the steele dossier into the FBI.

And, we go back to the,OBAMA admin using the IRS to illegally target the Tea party groups.

WHY? The Tea party groups were NOT an immediate, existential threat to the Obama admin or the Democrat party.

Actually, they were just the OPPOSITE, if anything. The Tea party’s openly stated goal was to target Republican leadership for “primarying”; attempting to ‘take them out’ in the primary, which means in the general the Democrat challenger would NOT be going up against an incumbent, increasing the odds of a Democrat win.

And, even if the Tea party candidate won, they would be going into Congress as a ‘freshmen’, having unseated an experienced ranking member.

Point being, Obama really had no compelling reason to ‘kneecap’ the,Tea parties, before they could really become active, and actually every reason to EXPEDITE their formation, in order to cause problems for,Republicans.

But as we know, THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED. Instead, McCain requested the Obama admin to use the IRS to stall the applications of the Tea party groups, while the Republicans then infiltrated and ultimately performed the coup de grace.

Such a “enemy of my enemy is my friend” co-ordination, is not the ONLY time we see the Uniparty reveal itself.

I think the,Reason the Republican party held off on going as far,as they could have, to prevent DJT from winning the nomination, and the Presidency, is because they had an “Insurance policy”.

And, just as detailed in the infamous text message, I think the,REPUBLICANS thought; “First of all, there is NO WAY he will beat Hillary. BUT, if he does, we have an “Insurance Policy”.

In support of this, we see Republican Congressional leadership sending clear signals, by action and inaction, that they DO NOT WANT ACCOUNTABILITY for the coup. WHY?

“Politically”, it would be to their benefit to do everything they could, to expose the biggest political scandal in American history, and lay it at the feet, or hang it around the neck of the Obama admin and by association Democrats. Had the Congressional Republican LEADERSHIP aggressively pursued Oversight investigations, in both Houses of Congress (which for first two years of PDJT’s first term the CONTROLLED) they could have exposed the whole coup.

This would have resulted in a,Republican landslide in 2018, as the American public would have turned from Democrats.

And yet we see just the opposite.
By actions (such as allowing the bogus ethics investigation of Nunes to proceed), by refusing to excercise the Houses power to go to court, by Ryan announcing his lame duck status, by Senate Judiciary sitting on its hands, by Senate dictating PDJT’s appointments and blocking recess appointments, … and on and on what we see is Republican Congressional leadership doing A) everything they can to block or blunt PDJT’s MAGA agenda B) even pore to the point, doing everything they can to block ANY efforts to hold the coup small group accountable.

They are NOT the “Party of stupid”, nor can their conduct be explained away on the basis of being ‘lazy’, ‘minnesota nice, go along to get along’, or even as being merely greed.

They are COMPLIT, IMHO in the initiation of the coup attempt, and when it comes to policy, they now occupy the position Congressional Democrats occupied 10 years ago.

That of SAYING they are; for a wall, for abortion restrictions, etc. while actually supporting the same Globalist elitist agenda as their Democrat partners.

Similar to the difference between Bernies positions, vs the positions of his primary opponents (Distinction without a Difference) the ACTUAL difference between the Republican Congressional leadership and the Democrats is likewise a Distinction without a,Difference.

Both faces of the Uniparty have been corrupted by China, as has everything from the WHO to the Boy Scouts, the Multinational corporate boardrooms, to the hierarchy of most churches, the MSM and Hollywood, etc.

The Republican party has “never missed an opportunity, no miss an opportunity” to politically capitalise on the many scandals of the Obama admin (Fast/Furious, IRS/Tea party, Benghazi) and of the biggest political scandal in our history (the coup).

This CAN NOT be explained away by ineptitude, or any other lame excuse.

There can only be ONE explanation, IMHO; The Congressional Republican Party leadership were COMPLICIT, if not the driving force behind the 702 queries into the Trump campaign, and the efforts to ‘muh Russia’ during the campaign.

To me, its the only logical, occams razor explanation.

The Tea Party emerged from the floor of the Chicago commodity pits. Rick Santelli unleashed a torrent of criticism against this scheme of Government promoting bad behavior subsidizing losers’ mortgages. His question was, ” How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor’s mortgage? President Obama, are you listening? How about we all stop paying our mortgages! It’s a moral hazard.”

All this took place on the air, to the cheers of fellow traders. Santelli called for a new Tea Party in support of capitalism and against socialism. That is what took off like wildfilre across America. Some of us, especially from the Chicago area knew about Obama’s loyalty to Socialist Party of America. While not overtly so, Democratic Socialists of America is essentially a Marxist organization. Barack Obama belonged to the radical socialist “New Party” in Chicago, formed by members of the DSA, an offshoot of the CPUSA. Obama’s mentor was Saul Alinsky, a very radical socialist who believed deceiving people was necessary to achieve a state where the government controlled everyone and everything. Remember: “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it.” Hence the collectivism. That is what originally started the Tea Party. It was a fight to preserve America.

Then it took too long for Trump that he should have never gone soft on that Snake. Of course Paul Ryan, would have never let a trial start even though Hillary had so much evidence against her she should have sentenced by July 2017. (And meanwhile Lois Lerner is sitting huge pension. It’s sad we can’t convict someone from the most-hated government agency for obvious corruption !!)

Point is, you don’t always have to point it out in words, peoples minds will naturally go that way.

              Twice? ,……coincidence.

              THIRD time,…Enemy ACTION!

As you point out, we have had MANY more than 3 instances, to clearly demonstrate Republicons in control of Congress are THE ENEMY.

Sometimes you can identify your enemies weakest points, by seeing where they defend most aggressively.

The Tea party attempted to PRIMARY Republicon leadership, and were attacked on at least 2 fronts (that we know of). The IRS, and then infiltration.

And, I suspect that many tea party candidates that won, may well have been the subjects of 702 search queries, hence their seeming to “go all D.C.”, and ‘swampy’ once they got to D.C.

Bannon tried to PRIMARY Republicons. I suspect, although I can’t PROVE it, that all 10 candidates he supported were subject to op research, and it was detirmined to make an example, using Roy Moore.

And, I suspect it was a Uniparty “Op”, using well established methods.

Its the “manufactured October Surprise” strategy, and when it works, devastatingly effective.

Anyway, the basic STRATEGY of PRIMARYING is attacking them where they percieve themselves to be vulnerable.

Announcing it loudly to the World, probably NOT a good idea.
So, we need to continue to try to PRIMARY them, but NOT by following the ‘traditional’ model of political organising, i.e. fund raising, obtaining tax exempt status, and big PR campaign.

Perhaps start with looking at the,”filing deadline” in each State.
When is the LATEST someone can register as a Candidate.

              Second, use ONLINE organising, …
The rough outline I am sketching out, is the primary campaign comes out of NO WHERE, in the last 6 weeks of the primary.
The incumbent doesn’t have TIME to set up a manufactured surprise.
And, you don’t openly do it as a National campaign, hit each locally.
The success was Eric Cantor, and I think he was blindsided in just this way; he hadn’t really done much FOR his district, or campaigned much IN his district, and thought he,was going to cruise to victory, unopposed.

And this is typical of those in leadership positions; they are picked, in large part, because they are considered “safe” seats, and they are so busy focusing on National issues, that, they tend to ignore their constituencies.
              Remember,Tom Dashle?

So, we need to work on expunging Rpeublicon Rino Nevertrumper, never MAGA’s at the local, county and State level, and we need to develop different strategies for primarying.
This is WAR, and the future of our Republic, is directly tied to the Republican party. IMHO

now, let me give you another insert to comtemplate.

what if the very surveillance apparatus has compromised these people? think about it carefully..

how do you really compromise someone anyway? often we have this notion that it is ONLY a threat ….that just isn’t so..that is the bronze age notion of how compromise really operates.

here is the modern age compromise.

we know everything about you..and everyone that you care about…everyone.

we are going to show you this..so you understand what happens next.

that’s the threat part. it’s real.

mister, we are ALL compromised…let me show you what I have done…what everyone I care about has done.

            that is sharing is caring.

now let me open my secret wallet..see these gold coins? yes, these are all mine. This can be yours too…See all of these bills that have riders in them that allow me to practically vote myself back into office each cycle back at home…you get that power too. We are all compromised. It’s OUR SECRET. it the potomac three step to guaranteed wealth and access to power and the perks that come with a long political career. See all of those people you care about. they too can live wildly above their weight, because they get taken care of. And yours can too….

all you have to do is.

            stop fighting..and start participating..

the first thing you will want to do, is give unchecked support every single time the partiot and 702 authorization come up…you are allowed to wave your hands and raise hell…please do. but when the moment that counts comes, we look forward to you finding a way to protecting the very surveillance apparatus that has compromised us all. We will share notes with your team how to pull this off.

compromised in DC is a badge of honor, worn by most, the majority that can move mountains. And so, they are, and they do.

the ONLY reason we are even talking about this…the ONLY reason this information has gained serious enertia about the secret police spy apparatus (deep dark state)..

IS BECAUSE an outsider, Donald Trump, who made it very clear early on, he would be taking on the IC and the secret police spy state…AND HE DID….AND BECAUSE OBAMA 2.0, HRC was defeated BY THE PEOPLE….HRC, the candidate chosen by the deep dark state to add rocket fuel into an already highly successful private world of surveillance for money..intelligence for cash industry…It is NOT a trivial amount of cash either! We are talking about TRILLIONS of dollars..intelligence so powerful that is is the most prized commodity above all else…It’s the stuff dreams are made of.

but….it is also so powerful it draws out the absolute worst in humans.

It IS the perfect environment for satan carry out his plans.

All of this was predicted..and not by conspiratorial nutballs and jackwagons. Nope….the very AUTHOR of the patriot act, predicted it. He wrote the act, so it would be used to target and investigate threats against the US ..but ONLY foreign targets. HE KNEW this apparatus could be abused. He talked about it..constantly. He compromised the risk that would happen with a renewal process…his first and final mistake was believing congress would take action if it was abused. and here we area..

congress doesn’t talk about fight club….they are ALL compromised and the few that aren’t don’t make a difference. Once you hit critical mass in congress…the minor league players are inconsequential.

but here is what WE DO KNOW..

We elected President Trump…he is the constant target of this massive compromised group of insiders and from the typical enemies of the US as well..ironically, foreign antagonists. Yet, he faces a higher attack rate (and do we, THE PEOPLE) from WITHIN!

If President Trump could elaborate to the US PEOPLE and then ACT on it….We could start to see the end of this secret police spy state…the deep dark state wouldn’t dissapear, but it would have to use private tools and access outside of the law….

            • Dutchman says:

A different spin, leading to the same conclusion. McCarthy was an idiot, but he wasn’t wrong. The Soviets established, over many years, an infiltration program, in media, acedemia, the State Dept, and more broadly the Administrative state, the church hierarchy, and yes, the intelligence agencies.

And then, Reagan collapsed the Soviet union, by forcing them to compete, economically.
Now, what happens to all those marxist ‘infiltrators’ (for lack of a better term) when the USSR collapses?
They don’t like Putin at all. He may be a Conmunist, but he is a Nationalist, not a Marxist, and they view him as little better than the Czar.
However, their “loyalty” is NOT to a country, but to a fake ideology of global conmunism.
So, they transfer their loyalty to their new State Sponsor for Global Conmunism,…CHI-NA.

Brennan, Comey, and Ohr have documented conmunist ties that would have made McCarthy drool and gibber.
If Comey is, its reasonable to assume his MENTOR, Mueller is, as well.

So, the intel IS valuable, and too valuable NOT to be infiltrated and exploited by the CHICOMS, who are infiltrating the Boy scouts, the AMA, the American Bar association, and heck probably the PTA, fer cripes sake.

You actually only need FOUR people, to control Congress; the Majority and minority leaders of both Houses.

Once you have them, THEY can use committee assignments (carrot) and the threat of ethics investigations (stick) access to the Congressional Campaign committee funds, or no access, again carrot/stick.

And yes, it ALL ultimately goes back to CHINA, and to follow the trail any farther than that, leads to the “Father of Lies”, himself.
And while SATAN spent a tremendous amount of effort and energy setting up what he HOPED would be his final masterpiece, that would enable him to dominate the earth.

And God reached out and grabbed the most IMPROBABLE person on the earth, to be HIS champion, and thwart Satans elaborate plan.

Just as he chose a teenage shepard boy, to succesfully conquer a formidable, literal giant and experienced warrior.

Why that choice? To show that WITH GOD, anything is possible, and without nothing is, and to show the Jews were his chosen people.

Review DJT’s ascendency, thru the primary, achieving the nomination, and prevailing to win the Oval office, and OVER All the resistance aligned against him.
Then he, who’s trademark expression is “Your Fired!” resisted the almost unbelievable temptation to fire Mueller. And on and on.

EVERY thing they throw against him, while it sometimes takes TIME, I judge EVERY SINGLE TIME, he wins!
              This NEVER happens in life!
Even Muhamad Ali had his jaw broken.
The explanation is, while I take NOTHING away from DJT’s genius, I believe it is his,….council (GOD) that is the ONLY thing that can explain his victories, against all of Satans minions, time and time, again.

The very improbability, AND the consistent winning, is the fingerprints of God, clearly visible to those who, but LOOK.

I have been reading this excellent analysis by Sundance, all or parts, for about two years. It is the technological equivalent of catching the Nixon team red-handed burglarizing the Democratic Headquarters at the Watergate Building.

Barr and Durham, presumably, have been reading all the same material, UNREDACTED, for about two years as well….and also even more incriminating information Sundance doesn’t have access to. Others before that.

    And still nothing has happened.

One reason for the different outcome for Nixon (the supposed perpetrator, as opposed to Trump the obvious victim) is that the Media pounded and pounded on the Watergate Break-in,daily, until the dam finally burst and the cover-up was exposed. Here Trump continued to be the subject of an illegal investigation, even more intense after election, and after the initial crime was discovered, because the Media is intimately involved in the Cover-up.

It is very sad. It is not the Country I grew up in. That country is all but lost.

Saving it comes through Barr and Durham actually doing something. That was supposed to happen by the end of Spring. It came as no surprise that the deadline was recently pushed back to the end of Summer, and it will come as no surprise that, then, it will have to wait because of a policy that the DOJ will not act in such an important investigation 90 days before a national election.

And with the people who perpetrated this modern day Watergate known but unpunished, in spite of easily provable guilt by any prosecutor with integrity and guts, they, with other new players, mostly neo-Bolsheviks like the Governor of Michigan and, of course California…will steal the election for the Presidency and to keep the House. It only takes the fraudulent production of votes in places like Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Detroit—and vote harvesting in California and a few other places.

Why shouldn’t they be emboldened to do all that?

It is very sad. It is not the Country I grew up in. That country is all but lost.

I just wonder why Barr—really the only man who can save his country—would get on TV and say that what happened was one of the Worst Travesties in American History.

And then do nothing about it.

That is not just “one reason”… that is the reason. The Press despised the Nixon Administration back then and absolutely adores the Obama Administration now. In some respects the mainstream media was running the whole coup, the overturning of the 1972 Election.
The crooked media (Woodward & Bernstein) went full tilt to oust President Nixon and the will continue to provide cover for President Obama today and keep his travesty of justice swept under the rug.
It appears as though the system is broken beyond repair so don’t expect one lonely US Attorney General to “fix it.” It will take a LOT more than one or two men with integrity; it may take an entire army.

Generally, each contractor project or program submits a Monthly Report to the customer CO detailing the work completed that month, and the estimated charges as well as a snapshot of projected costs vs actual costs. Also provided are copies of any formal deliverables, such as reports, analyses, estimates to complete and estimates at completion.

Here is what we must do:

Six states have their rights enshrined in their constitutions, and they have given specific guidelines for anyone to claim their rights they seek. Exact processes and signature requirements for citizen groups to qualify their proposals are provided. Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota and Oklahoma are the only states that offer this process.

      For example:

The process is governed by Article II, Section 14, of the New Mexico Constitution which states in part:

“A grand jury shall be convened upon order of a judge of a court empowered to try and determine cases of capital, felonious or infamous crimes at such times as to him shall be deemed necessary, or a grand jury shall be ordered to convene by such judge upon the filing of a petition there[of] signed by not less than the greater of two hundred registered voters or two percent of the registered voters of the county, or a grand jury may be convened in any additional manner as may be prescribed by law.”

Two percent of the voters in a county is a very small amount for any serious activism group. Most ballot proposals required 5 to 10 percent of the voter’s signatures. Citizen initiated grand juries should be a popular form of activism in the aforementioned states.

THAT is the danger of allowing an agency (NSA) to compile a database of all activities they mansge to monitor: Phone call records (to/from), text messsages (to/from+content) email records (to/from+content) web browsing (history), Social Media (Tweets/Instagrams/Facebook Posts ALL OF IT) …even yout WordPress Posts AND COMMENTS (HI BERNIE!)

That is the very thing I have explained to people – that might say, “Well, I’m not ‘important’, so therefore anything they have on me doesn’t really matter”.

Out of a large population of such “unimportant” people, some of them will become “important” at some point in the future. Those individuals may not today realize that that will happen to them. They may believe they will never become “important”. Many will be right about that – but some will not.

That’s the value of “having everything” – for those few individuals, that yesterday thought “I’m not important so it doesn’t matter”, that are now, today, “important” (and it now does matter). To compile a “dossier” on those individuals is, at that point, as easy as “entering the queries”.

That is a power not easily given up.

Unfortunately, from my cynical perspective, that is the very reason why it won’t change – there is too much incentive to keep such power “at the ready” and it overrides anyone’s “desire” to clean things up.

That is why I am not one of those “hopefuls” that “Barr will still do the right thing – it just takes time”. While he, himself, might be “un-corrupted”, I am in the camp of those that think he will “preserve the institutions” (and that power that they have); and therefore maybe wag some fingers and give a few stern looks. But that’s about all I expect.

“They” need to preserve that kind of power for “future needs”.

The intelligence agencies used the mountains of surveillance data they had to deal with as the excuse for dropping the ball which led to the 9/11 attacks, so the solution was more levels of intelligence personnel and collecting data on every man, woman, and child in America. Seeing how so many IC and DoJ/FBI folks ended up as either direct employees or contributors to CNN, they have to be fitted into the puzzle. It was an old CNN file story, which was never shown, that served as the canvas for Steele to paint his dossier. CNN has also been a big part of this (in return for exclusive first dibs on publishing results) at least from the point Steele was engaged. All the other networks were getting sloppy seconds or flat out repeating CNN’s stories.

The other fact not mentioned was that FBI (Counter INTEL element) also used allot of contractors, with clearances who could access the same materials. The FBI Counter INTEL folks are the bridge between the IC and DoJ/FBI. Comey used one one those contractors to leak his memo’s.

Further Devin Nunes deserves a cameo in this article. Besides Admiral Rogers, it was Nunes who found, from an old Obama Daily INTEL Brief, how the data was being shipped directly into the White House for use by Obama’s staff. Given how Obama has opened up the authorization and delegation of clearances within the Executive Branch of Government. It would not be surprising to discover that Obama had delegated authority to grant clearances (per his legal powers), to Rahm Emanuel, the Clinton Campaign and leadership within the DNC.

An important additional point to consider:

Obama admin use of NSA information has historical roots: same with IRS information abuse. If ‘you’ consider this point, it changes Rogers role significantly. Rogers is aware of the NSA and IC system abuse from much earlier ‘in his career’ (as is true of Flynn).

The point is that Rogers MOVES to shut off access, at the time he does so, as part of a DELIBERATE plan to foil a THIRD fraudulent election (1obama 2008, 2 obama 2012, therefore 3 clinton 2016). Whistle blowers going back to at least 2001 (Binney, Drake) and subsequent (Tice, Sybel, JAssange, ??Snowden, etc) make it clear that this systematic abuse is well known within the system.

    Trump Tower Trip by Rogers:
Rogers’ MARKER of going to Trump IN PUBLIC is a TRANSITION from concealing their knowledge of the system abuse by obama/clinto to putting ‘them’: OBAMA/CLINTON CABAL AS ENEMY/TREASONOUS actors and calling ‘FIGHT IS ON’ that they know what they did to U.S. election/presidential selection process — as well as making it inevitable that the public would know.

    This was a planned disclosure

It accelerated the Flynn hunt and led to a series of ‘more or less FORCED ERRORS’ in the role-out of the demoncrap/deep-state/coup-plotters plans.

Even then, only about 10-15% of the people will act to “terminate” the intolerable and that will be more than enough. Many will still be blissfully “social distancing”/self-lock-up through “the whole thing/time”.

If Durham isn’t ready by May 3 (six months before the election) then if he is ready soon thereafter, he will have to indict within those six months or wait until after the election. If he is an honest and just man, then he will not wait until after the election because of the risk that all his work will be flushed by Biden in late January 2021. Therefore, if Durham is a just and honest man and is ready soon, then the indictments will come “close to” (within six months of) the election.

A corollary to that is that if Durham is an honest and just man who doesn’t want to risk all his work being flushed down the toilet by Biden, then he knows he must hurry to finish up soon. And if he’s not sure that he will be ready with solid cases by January 2021, then he is a worried man.

Obviously Hillery knew about all of this illegal spying. This make me wonder if Hillery uses this leverage to squash the fbi into allowing her to bleach bit her hard drives and to let her go free.

Remember when comey said there is not a judge who would take this case.
I will bet the reason is because they have found something damming on every single judge in the system.. ie Roberts, but probably not the late Antonin Scalia…

Hillary used to to force the party to put up a sick old woman as their candidate. She was to be Obama’s third term, and all the dirt on both of them would have remained interred for eternity.
Even Bernie was too much of a threat to them, I think he was correct when he said he had a better chance of beating Donald Trump than Hillary did, but having the White House in Democrat hands wasn’t enough for them.

    • 2zymos says:

You can be pretty confident “they” had compromising material on Scalia (even if its not sexual or $ or other embarrassment…
      1. What “they” didn’t count on was that Scalia loved truth and loved the USA so much that he wanted to “clear the air” so we could breath and prosper…… or….

      2. …he was in up to his neck and wanted to pile it all on obama/hitlery and was making plans to collapse it on “them” and thereby sealed his fate.

1 is most likely the case. 2 CANNOT be ruled out (just yet).

Thanks Sundance as I am amazed how so many in the Justice Department are constantly given a pass and allowed to continue promoting criminal activity.

Today the world is fighting Wuhanvirus as a Pandemic while ignoring the massive terminal disease spreading in all parts of American Culture by the AG Barr Justice Department in its efforts to continue the beat down of the Forgotten Man.

It is beyond belief how President Trump remains a true American looking over Americans in a Sodom & Gomorrah atmosphere of Washington DC with the blessings of good ole AG Barr! If Sundance can report and lay this Hoax out over and over again and again. With the status quo answer, be patient, so much to unpack, we must get this correct, all in due time, this time the AG means business, the news is coming out, the new AG is very honorable. Wait for the next corrupt AG appointment? Does anyone believe these people will be charged or convicted? Just maybe after 2020 but this corrupt AG Barr Justice Department needs fumigation.

Reminds me how easy the term Wuhanvirus was changed to Covid as the caskets around the world became occupied, transparency omitted, propaganda expanded, Get Trump ASAP

IMO Barr and Durham STOP with Spygate and FISA Gate.

But NSA Contractor Abuse from 2012-2015 to build a database to leverage/blackmail Americans WILL NEVER BE EXPOSED IMO.

Even though IMO the bridge from FISA Abuse to NSA Contractor Abuse is most definitely connected as part of the master plan, IMO Barr will not walk across this bridge to expose FIB allowed NSA Contractor Abuse.

It is just too much of a hot potato IMO and the damage opening up and exposing years of NSA Contractor Abuse IMO is something AG Barr will NEVER expose.

By far the best write up and synopsis of what has transpired since 2012.

I wish it also included the Feb 2009 launch of the Hammer Program and Dennis Montgomery that appears to have been the precursor to NSA Contractor Abuse but in essence did the same.

Amazing to think we have an actual Hammer WB and 47 Hard Drives Of evidence and it has all been ignored since they were turned in back in 2015.

But Bravo to Sundance for this write up and I agree is a MUST SEND to as many Americans as possible.

Can we link this article to Rush, Bongino, Powell, Dobbs, Levin, Tucker, Ingraham, Hannity, Regan, Rion, Posbiec, Fitton, Grenell, Meadows, Nunes, PapaD, Gen. Flynn, Rich Higgins and 1000 other Patriots.

I would simply add at the bottom of all of this a simple question………..

Will Barr expose all of the NSA Contractor Abuse of the Database from 2012-2015?

    Yes or No?

Now that the IG report footnote disclosure demonstrates the alleged Russian intelligence disinformation scheme targeting Trump and his campaign, and more importantly, that the FBI recognized it for what it was yet still ignored it, the falsity of the Obama, Clapper, Brennan and Comey ICA (Intelligence Community Assessment) in December 2016 that the Russians were helping Trump and his campaign and that the Russians preferred Trump is apparent.

These footnotes prove that the ICA was false and part of an Obama and intelligence community effort to end or at least destabilize the Trump presidency. If Russian intel was feeding false derogatory info about Trump into US intelligence and the FBI, then the ICA claiming the Russians preferred and/or helped Trump is clearly false. Why a false ICA, because this helped flood the Russian collusion zone against Trump justifying the federal bureaucracy “resistance” AND helped pave the way for the Mueller appointment designed to cover up and take Trump out.

Something like a Reddit AMA, only closed.

Reddit reminds me, I never go there, but I happened to be looking at it the day some clown went on there with a lurid tale involving a woman very highly placed in government, a name he said everyone would recognize, and a chore he was hired to do for her.

It seemed ridiculous at the time, I thought it had to be fake. Who would go on Reddit for advice on how to do a job for Hillary Clinton?
Just weird, that I even saw something that would become important later like that.
Also weird that it just went away.

Thank you for validating everything that I have posted here re: the timeline and reasons for Spygate. You missed two things though. The lesser thing is the involvement of the British equivalent of the US NSA. The director of that agency sent several disks of data, which his agency had mined from the NSA under the auspices of 5 Eyes, to Brennan after Adm. Rogers had shut the contractors out of the NSA data base. This was a one shot deal, which could not be continued. The second thing you missed was the exposure of HRC to potential criminal indictment and conviction over Servergate. Trump supporters, at that time, were already chanting “Lock Her Up”. And Trump was publicly stating that HRC should be in jail.

So, as noted the Dems were running elint through the NSA on political opponents, until Rogers shut it down. Brennan was able to use the British GCHQ to provide a stop gap access to NSA surveillance material while other assets were put into play. One such asset was the introduction of a mole into the Trump campaign to provide humint until elint could be reestablished. To reestablish “legitimate” elint, the FBI had to be used. And, as this had to be a counter intelligence operation, an IC predicate had to be established to justify it and, eventually, the issuance of a Title 1 surveillance warrant.

So, timeline wise, here is what you have,
    1) Trump becomes the presumptive GOP nominee.
    2) Rogers shuts Dem contractors out of the NSA data base.
3] Here is where multiple tracks split off, all with the same objective:
    a) Brennan utilizes the GCHQ to gain intelligence until a humint source can be introduced into the Trump campaign.
    b) Brennan, through the IC, begins to establish the overseas predicate for Crossfire Hurricane.
    c) The FBI introduces one or more human agents into the Trump campaign for interim surveillance.
    d) As a person has to be reliably identified as an agent of a foreign government to justify the issuance of a Title 1 warrant, the IC predicate operation attempts to set Manafort and Papadopolous, and later Flynn, as said agents. This fails to garner a Title 1 warrant.
    e) When this fails, the conspiracy burns Carter page by attempting to portray him as a foreign agent. This fails, on the first attempt.
    f) The conspiracy turns to Glen Simpson’s Steele Dossier for corroboration, along with a “friendly” FISA judge.
    g) The FBI obtains a Title 1 warrant on Carter Page, who has been a long time asset of both the CIA and FBI. The T1 warrant allows surveillance of virtually the entire Trump campaign, under the two-hop rule.

And, we are off to the races. But, here is where it gets really sticky. As Crossfire Hurricane is a CI operation, not a criminal one, the President has to be notified, so that he can deliver the required authorization for the operation to continue. While it is possible that President Obama was never notified of Crossfire Hurricane, it is unlikely, as Comey, in particular, would have made sure that he was covered for these illegal activities. And, that is why this investigation is never going to go anywhere. Too many top echelon people have to be protected.

    • teabag14 says:

Mac: what do you think would happen if the protection of all those “too many top echelon people” was removed? Worst case? Best case? Most of us would love to see them fall. Can that be a worse fate than losing our Constitutional Republic? We sure are getting our noses rubbed in this day in and day out because of what we think we know but apparently are not supposed to know.

      • Mac says:

The problem that exists is that rampant corruption is the foundation of the DC political establishment. Now ask yourself, if you were a politician who is feathering his nest from extra governmental sources, would you want someone indicted for this type of crime to rat you out? A tremendous amount of money passed through the Clinton Foundation, and much of it simply disappeared. What kind of records do the Clintons hold? What happens to potentially dangerous witnesses against political operatives, such as Epstein?

Now, suppose that one of the higher ups in the FBI or CIA is charged with a crime involving these practices. What if he fingers others, in order to get a lighter sentence? Maybe the former President? What if one of these people fingers members of Congress and former members of Congress, such as Joe Biden? Beginning to see the domino effect? Where does it stop and, while it is going on, who runs the store? How does a government survive seeing 80+ percent of the politicians, and likely an equal percentage of the bureaucracy, ousted? If the government resists, does the populace respond violently? And, how many people are going to support collapsing the governments?

The people involved in these situations are driven by self interest. They do not care about the People, the nation, right, justice or honor. Those in high government positions are either card carrying members of the Establishment or are wholly owned by the Establishment. They like the status quo. Part time politicians, such as our current .POTUS, have to pick and choose their battles with an eye to advancing their own agenda.

There is no easy solution to the problem of the systemic corruption inherent in our government systems.

        • teabag14 says:

OK. That answers my questions. I always like to go to the bottom line which seems to be this: We are damned if we don’t pull the plug on the swamp, and probably more damned if we do. A “nice mess” if ever there was one.
