President Trump Responds to “Deep State” Intelligence Leak – Another Pre-Planned Legislative/Lawfare Effort…

To fully absorb the backstory to the latest allied effort between politicians and the intelligence apparatus, it is helpful to remember when the Vice-Chair of the SSCI, Senator Dianne Feinstein, abdicated her position after the 2016 election.

For years CTH has discussed the internal dynamic of Democrat politicians (legislative branch) working in concert with Intelligence Community (executive branch) officials to protect their interests. Ultimately the biggest example of this surfaced when Donald Trump won the 2016 election despite the efforts of the deep state. Trump became target #1.  Remember also, Feinstein’s chief-of-staff, Dan Jones, leaving and going to work on the outside including paying Fusion-GPS to keep up their efforts?

We have provided the trail of overwhelming evidence, showing how the intelligence apparatus writ large, including select members of the Gang-of-eight, were working with politicians (House and Senate) against candidate, president-elect and President Trump. No doubt the internal plans therein was a step too-far for Feinstein. She bailed.

However, Feinstein’s departure was only one aspect, there were many more – including: Senator Harry Reid working with CIA Director John Brennan on the dossier distribution (letter to FBI etc.); the 2017 censure of HPSCI Devin Nunes, after discovery of the Trump campaign unmasking etc; the 2016 use of FBI/NSA databases by political operatives and “contractors” to extract opposition research; and obviously the combined efforts of the CIA, DNI, FBI and DOJ in what is now known as “spygate”, the surveillance of the Trump campaign.

These examples show a synergy between Democrat politicians in power and the intelligence apparatus.  These examples are not theoretical, they are highlighted by evidence including: admissions to the FISA court by the DOJ/FBI; outlines from the DOJ inspector general; and even evidence within the indictment and arrest of SSCI Security Director James Wolfe.

It’s not a conspiracy theory. It is, unfortunately, a conspiracy fact.

It is through that prism of known political corruption and documented intelligence community conspiracy effort – that all claims from “former officials within the intelligence apparatus” should be considered. There was, and I would argue still is, an effort by the Legislative branch. I quote myself:

The problem for Attorney General Bill Barr is not only investigating what we don’t know, but rather navigating through what ‘We The People’ are already aware of….

A branch of the United States government (Legislative) was attempting a coup against the incoming leader of another branch of government (Executive); by using the Intelligence Community and designated corrupt agents within the executive branch cabinet. (more)

Remember, this stuff comes in pre-planned waves.  These efforts are well coordinated, planned and then rolled out by legislative democrats.  They are assisted by their corrupt and ideological allies in the Lawfare group who operate as middle-men between the politicians, left-wing allied teams and the media narrative engineers.

That understanding underscores the latest effort du-jour from Adam Schiff:

WaPo – The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

It was not immediately clear which foreign leader Trump was speaking with or what he pledged to deliver, but his direct involvement in the matter has not been previously disclosed. It raises new questions about the president’s handling of sensitive information and may further strain his relationship with U.S. spy agencies. One former official said the communication was a phone call.  (more)

On an optimistic note…. Inasmuch as there are ongoing corrupt Machiavellian efforts, there are also elements within the intelligence apparatus trying to excise the corruption.  Remember, there has been an ongoing series of controlled “black hat hunting” efforts that have led to many discoveries of the embedded IC usurpers.

Also remember, some element within the IC carried out the operation that changed the dates on the FISA application given to the SSCI as part of the hunting effort.  That operation ultimately captured James Wolfe.  Despite the internal corruption within the DOJ that allowed Wolfe to exit without accountability for the classified document leaks, at least we know there is some internal entity, somewhere, working on finding them.

This latest -seemingly desperate- effort by some “anonymous former official” [[cough, Sue Gordan, cough]] making claims and requesting whistle-blower protection will likely backfire for all the same reasons prior efforts have failed.  President Trump is the most transparent politician in history.

Don’t look for too much more than political manipulation of this story.  Keeping with all prior explosive claims that turn out to be nothingburgers, the “whistleblower” is likely making nothing more than a strategic political decision.  The President has unlimited ability to conduct U.S. foreign policy, including who he talks to and what agreements are made therein.  If people don’t like the outcomes, well, that’s what elections are for.

The possible declassification of intelligence material, now under the control of AG Bill Barr; that could outline so much prior corruption and simultaneously expose this alignment between UniParty politicians and the corrupt intelligence community; likely has the entire network very, very, nervous…. Just think about the downstream consequences from declassifying the Rosemary Collyer report?  That declassification alone could mean generational damage to the domestic U.S. intelligence apparatus, DOJ-NSD and FBI.

If I had to hazard a guess based on timing, prior events, prior political advocacy, prior political demands and protestations, and prior alignment by the democrats toward an intelligence official; the connections would indicate Lawfare alignment with former ODNI Principal Deputy Director Sue Gordon.  However, that’s just a supposition – and if we wait a while (usually six days) we’ll see if that suspicion is accurate.

It has been 120 days since President Trump empowered AG Bill Barr to release the original authorizing scope of the Mueller investigation which began on May 17, 2017.  A Mueller investigation that concluded five months ago, and yet we are not allowed to know what the authorizing scope was?…. Nor the 2nd DOJ scope memo of August 2nd, 2017?… Nor the 3rd DOJ scope memo of October 20th, 2017?….

  • All versions of the Carter Page FISA applications (DOJ) (FBI) (ODNI).
  • All of the Bruce Ohr 302’s filled out by the FBI. (FBI) (ODNI)
  • All of Bruce Ohr’s emails (FBI) (DOJ) (CIA) (ODNI). All supportive documents and material provided by Bruce Ohr to the FBI. (FBI)
  • All relevant documents pertaining to the supportive material within the FISA application. (FBI) (DOJ-NSD ) (DoS) (CIA) (DNI) (NSA) (ODNI);
  • All intelligence documents that were presented to the Gang of Eight in 2016 that pertain to the FISA application used against U.S. person Carter Page; including all intelligence documents that may not have been presented to the FISA Court. (CIA) (FBI) (DOJ) (ODNI) (DoS) (NSA)  Presumably this would include the recently revealed State Dept Kavalac email; and the FBI transcripts from wiretaps of George Papadopoulos (also listed in Carter Page FISA). [AKA ‘Bucket Five’]
  • All unredacted text messages and email content between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok on all devices. (FBI) (DOJ) (DOJ-NSD) (ODNI)
  • The originating CIA “EC” or two-page electronic communication from former CIA Director John Brennan to FBI Director James Comey that started Operation Crossfire Hurricane in July 2016. (CIA) (FBI) (ODNI)

Additionally, since the 2018 list was developed, more information has surfaced about underlying material.  This added to the possibility of documents for declassification:

♦ Release the August 2nd, 2017, two-page scope memo provided by DAG Rod Rosenstein to special counsel Robert Mueller to expand the fraudulent Trump investigation, and initiate the more purposeful obstruction of justice investigation. Also Release the October 20th, 2017, third scope memo that expanded the investigation again, and targeted additional people including Michael Flynn’s family. The Scope Memos are keys to unlocking the underlying spy/surveillance cover-up. [SEE HERE and SEE HERE]

♦ President Trump can prove the July 31st, 2016, Crossfire Hurricane counterintelligence operation originated from a scheme within the intelligence apparatus by exposing the preceding CIA operation that created the originating “Electronic Communication” memo. Declassify that two-page “EC” document that Brennan gave to Comey.  [The trail is found within the Weissmann report and the use of Alexander Downer – SEE HERE]

♦ Release and declassify all of the Comey memos that document the investigative steps taken by the FBI as an outcome of the operation coordinated by CIA Director John Brennan in early 2016.  [The trail was memorialized by James Comey – SEE HERE]  Release and declassify the declarations of FBI Agent David Archey that describe the purpose of the Comey memos:

♦ Reveal the November 2015 through April 2016 FISA-702 search query abuse by declassifying the April 2017 court opinion written by FISC Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer. Show the FBI contractors behind the 85% fraudulent search queries. [Crowdstrike? Fusion-GPS? Nellie Ohr? Daniel Richman?]  This was a weaponized surveillance and domestic political spying operation. [The trail was laid down in specific detail by Judge Collyer – SEE HERE]

♦ Subpoena former DOJ-NSD (National Security Division) head John Carlin, or haul him in front of a grand jury, and get his testimony about why he hid the abuse from the FISA court in October 2016; why the DOJ-NSD rushed the Carter Page application to beat NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers to the FISA court; and why Carlin quit immediately thereafter.

♦ Prove the Carter Page FISA application (October 2016) was fraudulent and based on deceptions to the FISA Court. Declassify the entire document, and release the transcripts of those who signed the application(s); and/or depose those who have not yet testified. The creation of the Steele Dossier was the cover-up operation. [SEE HERE]

♦ Release all of the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages without redactions. Let sunlight pour in on the actual conversation(s) that were taking place when Crossfire Hurricane (July ’16) and the FISA Application (Oct ’16) were taking place.  The current redactions were made by the people who weaponized the intelligence system for political surveillance and spy operation.  Why are Page and Strzok texts still redacted!

Trump’s tweet acknowledges that his calls are most probably all listened into and that he is aware of same, Is this true? Can the POTUS not have any private calls with world leaders, heads of state, allies and foes? How does he work this way? How can anything really get done if you can’t, when needed, speak your mind to a recipient of a call without fear of second guessing and patrician attacks. This is completely nuts and seems completely counter intuitive to getting anything done. What a joke, a sad, sad joke.

This would explain why Xi backed out of the deal. Little Kim too. Undoubtedly some Democrat political traitors have knowledge of the President’s calls and are “advising” them on how to get around President Trump. Little do they know! I wish there were enough verifiably honest men & women with security clearances to pair one known “white hat intelligence officer” with each and every “black hat operative” and guarantee that the black hats can’t answer a toy phone or radio without a white hat with them! No solo potty breaks, no trips to the coffee pot, no going anywhere without a trusted agent right there. If the black hats get pi$$ed and quit, so be it. If they try to get in touch with a Congressional contact, nail em! Ditto for Congressional Demo and RINOs. Like Al says—No justice, no peace!! Disinfect the swamp!

Interesting how the latest take down attempt on Trump involves an Inspector General looking into a “credible and troubling concern” shortly before the DOJ’s IG releases his report on FISA abuse. Not only does the Deep State try to defuse the upcoming FISA report, they can point to the credibility of the IG regarding the whistleblower claim when the IG “investigates” the claim. They are using the IG to bolster the legitimacy of the claim because Trump supporters can’t then say that one IG is biased and the other isn’t.

It is all in the public national narrative. That is what Jerry is referring to. That narrative has the two as a “horse apiece” in the game. It sure sounds like there is a smelly political motive for this. How did this get labeled as “urgent”. Had to be by a Dem operative. A July call, and it is the end of September.

Unfortunately it is more than obvious at this point that the Republicans in Congress, and in particular the Republicans in the Senate, are completely aligned with the insurrectionists in the “intelligence community and the DOJ/FBI. Trump cannot fire these people and replace them with patriots because the GOP run Senate will not permit it. See e.g Ratcliffe as just the latest example.

I don’t see a problem with firing them even if they’re not going to be replaced.

The past 19 years have been nothing but one intel failure after another. Empty seats would arguably be more effective than these corrupt partisan operatives since their absence would devolve decision-making back to boots on the ground who actually understand what is going on.

The same is happening with USMCA.

Trump has been patient on this, just as with USMCA, but I expect his patience is reaching its end.

We’ll soon find out whether he considers the public credibility of these organizations to be more important to America than the perception of a functioning justice system.

Look at what the Congressional GOP did to Trump when he fired Comey. Then get back to me about how there will be no problem if he takes a chainsaw to the upper ranks of the “intelligence community”.

Some people like to pretend that Mueller was appointed by “Obama holdovers”. No, he was installed by Republicans in the DOJ at the instigation and with the support of the Republican leadership in Congress,.

          • John55 says:

What makes you think they’ll stop at a special counsel? There are a multitude of things that Congress can do to make Trump’s life even more miserable than they have done already. I think you are right, she may be the “whistle blower”, but who is the complaint against? Who is “outside of the intelligence community” that she would target that would make this worthwhile? The president is over all the intelligence agencies and as president can say whatever he wants to whoever he wants. If this is just her complaining she didn’t like what she heard then this is a huge nothingburger and would be an embarrassing fail for the lawfare group.

The Dem media is leveraging (the Trump admin appointed) Intel IG Atkinson’s confusing response against Trump. The IG was appointed (by ?) in May 2018 after 25 years in the Deep State DOJ.

“Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson determined that the complaint was credible and troubling enough to be considered a matter of “urgent concern,” a legal threshold that requires notification of congressional oversight committees.” Wa Po. This is just more poison for gullible minds to hate Trump.

Trump’s enemies are using every dirty malicious trick possible against him while Trump’s DOJ is slow walking their response to the corrupt Coup and the Deep State leakers and malcontents still embedded in the Intel agencies. The announced declassification process was a sham and Wray and many others like him are still stone walling the release of info and without the private sector’s Judicial Watch, the Coup defenders would be even more successful in stalling the long overdue counterattack on the corrupt. These corrupt leakers and /or liars are as unrestrained in their malign efforts as the Iranians are in their military aggression in the Mid East–so far. This is not how wars are won, especially vicious political ones.

    2. Demand to appear on 2 days notice when there is an actual SA/Iran potential war crisis is arbitrary, capricious, and political. Not gonna happen.
    3. The ‘uniquely urgent’ (or whatever the exact statutory language legally requiring the whistleblower complaint be provided to Schiff is, I did not make a note of the details) plainly doe NOT apply. So pound sand.

does advertising what information, what documents one wants…
    – does that help, or
    – does that hurt
the chances of obtainiing a copy of, or an original said information or documents?

    [ before answering,
this situation started in 2015 or earlier…
so, 4 years later, some equal transparency needs some improvement,
because the unadvertised transparency of the obfuscations, the distractions, and the blame games from the undisclosed opposition has gotten the most attention – by apparent design. ]

And yes, when so motivated the word twisting, legal obfuscation machine in DC.
Horowitz, Mueller have spent years on ‘investigations’, then when it comes to testimony….they hedge their words and guard themselves with pc (in)correctness out of a seemingly fear, or inability, to provide clear answers
to the best (and supposedly knowledgeable) of their ability
(obfuscation is in play, again…some of the politicians are spot on…but, going public could be hurting their cause to get to the truths ….)
that have been asked…. for years.

The more that some ask for more time (seemingly small…hours, day… that upon leaving a room… turns into weeks, months…again, and again…),
the more their memories seem to get into the foggy bottom … a convenient excuse line for the investigators, that they created….and inconvenient to the public that is paying a lot of time and resources to ask questions into the obfuscation, DC machine. [ TWA flight 800 investigation took 20 years…and the final report…was submitted without the full data…i.e. incomplete. Some of the same tactics are in play with a variety of DC issues…. ]

[ in a way, the repetitive unanswered questions (a lot of them negative, but seek truths) are slso making some people into household names,
(that they in turn, further capitalize upon the name recognition and more media face time….) Is that a good result? It may not be desired, but it is what is occurring.]

For the obfuscators own public safety, perhaps a consideration could be to legally, quietly charge, place on probation, unemploy, indict, safehouse, or arrest… first….then ask questions later (so that the temporarily detained may no longer be in the mix to further obfuscate matters – and so that information may be more swiftly gathered, stored, reviewed, summarized etc. and other probations or charges may be determined ). In the mob world, once someone is arrested….the rest of the mob gets wind of it…and starts to wonder if someone is snitching on them…
[then the ball of obfuscated yarn can begin to unravel….with each legal detainment. ]

You saw some of that being attempted in the arrests several long armed acquaintenances to the current President…
…but apparently nothing of the sort, with the foggy swamp folks (other than giving them name recognitions…which they take advantage of…
    [ at untold HUGE costs to the public …and growing… ] ) ?

So, why is there a list of desired data being publicized here?
[ does someone else incorrectly assume that the nefarious, involved characters can’t read and develop some counter / offsetting ideas….that helps, that aids, the obfuscations… ? ]

    In the meantime,
what else is currently occurring elsewhere (that is being covered up) ?
    [ for the next DC investigation , uhhh….obfuscation ]

Is there another carrot to place on a stick, in front of a horse…?

    That being said:
Congrats to bucking the resistance by
    – getting the wall started,
    – getting tax cuts,
    – helping the health care of our soldiers,
    – improving security,
    – catching the AA mechanic
    – not falling for the expensive CC economic drag,
    – reducing regulations,
    – creating opportunity zones in urban locations,
    – helping to create second chances for the those are, or have been serving time,
    – helping to save parents and babies,
    – incentivizing economic growth, and jobs in the U.S. (which in turn, helps others)
    – getting people off of the government payroll machines…
    – being on the ball regarding natural disasters and
    – helping with national security concerns by encouraging peace
    – driving the country towards equal justice for all,

    …Love thy neighbors….
The most common refrain mentioned in the Bible in various ways …
    “…. do not be afraid….(because) … I am with you … ”

    …” always be prepared ” ….

I was wondering if this might have been a mole hunt when I saw how so many leftist media outlets were pushing such an “explosive” story. Or perhaps sour grapes.

…with absolutely no thought to the President’s authority to conduct foreign policy.

There is no “whistle-blower”. Only yet another Dirty Spy like Brennan trying to overthrow the election. Ho hum, bitch.

    • It seems to me that the intelligence community in our government is the head of the Deep State snake!
Every time Comey, McCabe or anybody else in the Crossfire Hurricane hoax might go down, the intelligence crooks come to the recuse! 6 ways to Sunday Shumer warned President Trump about them.
The only way to solve this coup and take over of our government, is to COMPLETELY DESTROY the intelligence community and get rid of the patriot act! This country has not been the same since the intelligence services were given what appears to be unlimited power with zero oversight!

The scale of the current situation we are watching unfold is beginning to make me think that it’s a whole lot bigger than “get Trump”. It seems to me that if it wasn’t, this would be over, the “system” would have cut it’s losses, and arranged for fall-men and token prosecutions. But this fight-to-the-death with a pretty obscene amount of collateral damage, including social unrest with far-reaching implications in this scorched-earth strategy, leads me to wonder what we are missing. Is it all about the Supreme Court? That’s the only thing I can think of that might have brought us here. Even Watergate was brought into clearly defined parameters. This thing has so many feeder roots I find it almost impossible to see it all in one big picture.

    • Fighting to the death to save the global power structure and the military industrial complex?

Whatever it is, the Deep State wants to completely destroy President Trump and people who support him!

Thought provoking comment Louisiana Tea Rose. The communists have many hideous features and pettiness is one of them. They went through the long march for all of the 20th century and through 2016. They were just about to seal the fate of the West permanently and then it was unexpectedly denied to them, if only for a short while. Not all of their plans were stopped but many of them were. Like a child who has a load of Halloween candy that is taken away from them, they are fit to be tied.

No one has stood in their way like this President and his band of deplorable supporters. They will hate the President and us for all time. The President took their candy away. They cannot forget or forgive him or us. They would literally destroy the entire world for revenge.

LTR, just remember what Sundance has posted repeatedly for several years:

      There are trillion$ at stake.

Some of the most financially powerful & connected people on the planet (many of them aren’t Americans) have carefully constructed a system of global “trade” and payments in various forms from the U.S. government that quite systematically has exfiltrated trillions of dollars of wealth OUT of U.S. treasury and into the Globalists’ bank accounts.

Their system still exists except President Trump has interfered and disrupted it by challenging and renegotiating trade deals and foreign aid payments; by disrupting the “open border” illegal alien invasion, and by using tariffs as leverage to get more balanced, reciprocal trade agreements with our “allies.” This has removed a large amount of the cashflow going to the globalist banks and multinational corporations.

The Deep State are the Globalists’ eyes and ears and coercion specialists. The Deep State can threaten and coerce any politician into doing the Globalists’ bidding. But President Trump was / is already wealthy and has no vulnerable pressure points to exploit. They cannot coerce him.

So IMO, on one hand, yes, it absolutely IS about “Get Trump”. On the other hand, it is about making an example out of him so as to intimidate and deter ANYONE else from ever again trying to take down the Globalists / Deep State cash cow (exfiltration of $trillions out of the U.S. treasury).

I’ve read a bit about this and not on so-called right wing blogs. No telling what this is all about. As for IC ‘spying on the President’ may not be the case. As for motivation for the whistleblowing, it may be overblown. There may be no there there.

If there was, I think the IC would have come out pens blazing. This may end up to be a big fat nothingburger.

I think IG Horowitz said it best at the subcommittee meeting today. You must handle the whistleblowing on two levels; take them seriously, but verify. Sometimes that takes five minutes.

“It has been 120 days since President Trump empowered AG Barr to release…”
If we live 1,200 years, Barr will still not release the docs. IMO.

I can’t fool myself with the 16D chess, taking time to get it right, he knows what he’s doing, we can’t see what he’s doing so we have to hope and trust he’s doing something….etc….excuses that work for others.

Barr’s past is there for everyone to see; anyone who cares to see. That pas is his prologue. He was a protector of the status quo then, and he’ll be one now. What he did before, he’ll do again. You only need look at his proposal to federalize private firearm sales/transactions, by mandating private citizens complete a federally administered (BATF) paper form (F4473) and thereby submit themselves to the authority of an administrative agency (BATF) that has absolutely no jurisdiction or authority over any private citizen, but only over federal firearms licensees.

Barr’s attempt to put citizen’s exercise of their constitutional rights under the authority and jurisdiction of an administrative agency that has no authority over those citizens is an example of Barr’s chicanery and commitment to incremental disarmament of citizens, in order to cement ultimate government control over citizens.

I’ve been lurking for over a year here, but I finally have a question worth breaking my silence. What will happen to all the fbi\doj cases that have finished and sent people to prison when all the people at the top are shown to be liars and crooks themselves? Will all those cases have to be retried?
I’m worried they won’t bring the 🔨 down on most of them simply because of the chaos that will ensure afterwards with all those cases getting thrown out.
Does anyone have any insight in that area? I’m a laser engineer not a lawyer. Any knowledge in that area would be very helpful for me 😊.
About me; I’m 52 native American (well, I was born here so I think that makes me a native. Although Elizabeth Warren might disagree since I’m as white as she is) that served on submarines during the end of the cold war. I also think our president is a very stable genius and hilarious. I love him more every day.

Goobertelli, many of us have pondered the exact same questions.
Many believe that is the prime reason that the DOJ / FBI are trying to coverup the crimes and coup attempt – to :save” the DOJ/FBI and not face the horrendous loss of confidence and potential challenges to recent and past prosecutions and convictions.

Actually I have no doubt that many of those past convictions were probably unjustified and based on flimsy, illegally obtained evidence (via fraudulently obtained FISA warrants), fabricated “evidence”, entrapment, unethical prosecutions, and with incompetent (or coerced) defense lawyers. Harsh charges, yes, but I think we are seeing evidence of this being more the SOP than the exception in the federal LEAs.

98% of the convicts were browbeaten into a plea agreement, not a trial. Prison sentences are much too long already, ‘time served’ would be sufficient. 40% of the inmates will be deported and released into their former countries, not the USA.

    Entertain this hypothetical:

    Common law grand juries.

    Here’s how they work 👇

American law is based on English common law.
We’d be within our rights to march over there and put the entire swamp on trial.

I don’t know what everyone else thinks, but I’m starting to lose faith, and I say Barr is their last chance to clean this mess up before some other (outsider) action is needed.
