DOJ Affirms Legislative Rule that All States Participating in Federal Welfare Programs Must Report Illegal Aliens to DHS

The Justice Department has issued an important ruling requiring states to follow the legislated rule of reporting illegal aliens who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).  This rule can substantially alter the nature of financial support programs currently taking place with federal funds. [Full Press Release] [Full Opinion]

The Office of Legal Counsel has issued a legal opinion clarifying that when a state chooses to participate in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs, all agencies within that state — not only those that administer TANF or SSI benefits — must report individuals known to be not lawfully present in the United States to The Dept of Homeland Security. {citation}

DOJ Press Release: […] “Congress wrote this requirement plainly,” said Assistant Attorney General T. Elliot Gaiser of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel. “When a state chooses to participate in TANF, it accepts the obligation to report illegal aliens in the United States. Tax dollars intended to help vulnerable Americans should not perversely encourage illegal entry into the United States, but rather should reinforce our laws and our borders.”

“Our clarification does not impose new obligations on states,” said Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joshua Craddock of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel and author of the opinion. “It simply restores the original meaning of the statute Congress enacted and ensures that DHS receives the information it is legally entitled to. States that accept TANF funding must abide by federal law, and failure to comply may lead to serious consequences, including loss of program funding.”

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick Quotes Canadian Officials Who Said They Purposefully Fractured the Trade Deal for Domestic Political Value

A rather remarkable statement from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick puts the Canadian government on notice.  If Lutnick is accurately outlining what took place, there’s no way Trump is going to give them a trade deal.

When he is questioned about the U.S-Canada trade agreement collapse, Secretary Lutnick quotes the Canadian govt officials.  “I said to him, are you trying to blow this up? and he said, and I quote, “I’m not allowed to say that.“” Lutnick then encapsulates what that response meant.

They decided for political reasons, domestically, domestic Canada, they’d rather fight with Donald Trump; even if it’s bad for the economy of Canada, for their political ambition to get a certain election,” Lutnick noted.  He continued, “now remember, Quebec has the sovereign party was in the lead, so that’s why they came up with this French nonsense. You think the American side talked about how people speak in Quebec? We have a deal with France, we have a deal with Italy, we have a deal with Germany, we don’t care about their language; none of that was true.”   WATCH (prompted):

Canada Is Drowning in the Sea of China

Canada is drowning in the Sea of China. The USA is the rescue swimmer.  When we reach the victim they thrash, try to climb on our back and pull us under. Survival for both now requires us to punch them in the face, back away and ask them if they prefer to drown. If not, listen to instructions.

The USMCA or CUSMA needs to be terminated!  That’s the punch in the nose.

Then a bilateral trade agreement can be negotiated.  That’s the swimmer giving the victim instructions.

If Canada chooses to drown in the Sea of China, so be it.

Then we build a regulatory wall against all Canadian products, banning the entry of Chinese component parts in EVERYTHING!

Miami Doctor Who Promotes “Have Your Baby in Miami” Birthright Citizenship Scheme Pleads Fifth to Congress

Representatives on the House Oversight Committee Task Force on Protecting Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Abuses, held a hearing today on the subject of Birthright Citizenship and immigration fraud [hearing below].

The committee subpoenaed Dr. Wladimir Lorentz, the owner and founder of Miami Medical Concierge Services, following his refusal to testify. The committee intended to ask questions about the company’s role in arranging births for foreign nationals. Following the subpoena, Dr Lorentz invoked the Fifth Amendment to every question, citing a pending federal investigation into his business, also known as “Have My Baby in Miami.” WATCH (prompted):

…”Birth tourism has created a for-profit industry that abuses our nation’s immigration laws.  The birth tourism industry consists of a complex underground network of fraud involving visa manipulation, maternity-hotels, and sometimes unpaid medical bills, which place burdens on American taxpayers.

Thankfully, Republicans and the Trump Administration are working to expose and address the birth tourism problem through proposed legislation and executive action.  We must protect, strengthen and uphold the dignity and value of American citizenship, and protect our country from foreign efforts to subvert what it means to be an American.”…  ~ Representative Brandon Gill

Germany Says, “We are at war with Russia” – Zelenskyy Threatens Russian Civilian Air Travel – Will Canada Join the EU-NATO Alliance and Go to War?

There was a reason why CTH focused on the Leipzig-Halle Airport “drone attack” in Germany on August 5th. {GO DEEP}  There have been numerous indications the EU-NATO members, driven by Germany, France and the U.K. have been increasingly trying to expand the Ukraine war effort and pull in direct military engagement against Russia.

The Leipzig-Halle airport drone held all of the conspicuous indications of a false flag attack that did not stem from Russia.  The quadcopter drone was a limited range battery powered small drone carrying a rudimentary IED type explosive.  It needed to be operated and controlled by someone very close to the area, and the cargo area of the airport is a closed-loop security zone.

Nothing about the method, timing or location of the “drone attack” spoke to any value or importance for Russian interests in the Ukraine conflict. However, for expanding the war propaganda purposes the created narrative holds value.  The Leipzig-Halle drone operation was more than likely carried out by the same country who bombed the Nordstream pipeline. That was Ukraine.

Today, using the airport “drone attack” as a justification, Germany is accusing Russia of expanding a hybrid war against NATO and Germany is testing whether the full NATO alliance is willing to join them in military combat operations against Russia.  “German defense entrepreneur Stefan Thumann argued sabotage operations carried out by Moscow against his country are an “act of war … controlled and coordinated here by the Russian armed forces.” {source}

European NATO allies were quick to pick up the catchphrase “hybrid war” with statements from NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte, EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen, Finland President Alexander Stubb, Italian President Giorgia Meloni and many more.  Coordinated and timed to happen in unison, the EU-NATO nations now align to expand their war footing against Russia.  All of this was/is easily predictable.  This is by design.

Simultaneous with this announcement and statements from within Germany, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy now threatens all airline travel in Russia, in an obvious attempt to influence airline insurance carriers and shut down Russian civilian airspace.  However, if you have followed the pattern with us over the past several years, what should be expected next is alarming.

Chinese Car Company BYD Inquires to Purchase Stellantis Auto Plant in Canada

For about a year CTH has predicted Chinese auto manufacturers BYD and GEELY would take over shuttered auto plants in Canada.  Specifically, six months ago, against the backdrop warning of Stellantis, Toyota and Honda telling the Canadian government that without the USMCA they would shift auto production to the USA, CTH predicted BYD and GEELY would make moves on those closed facilities.

The move by China is easy to predict.  Prime Minister Mark Carney has opened the door to Chinese EVs.  It would be in Beijing’s best interest to retool and take control of closed plants to begin mass production in North America.

Chinese EV manufacturing in Canada serves two purposes.

First, they would not be limited in production to the cars that remain in Canada as part of the agreement.  Factually, China would use their Canadian footprint as an export hub into Europe and save money on current distribution.   Remember, Europe is losing their auto manufacturing base to China and Germany is laying off 100,000+ auto workers.

Second, the appearance of Chinese auto manufacturing in North America would put pressure on the United States to permit their cheap EVs to enter the market.

Today Bloomberg is reporting exactly what we predicted.  Chinese automaker BYD (Build Your Dream) is asking local officials about the currently idled Stellantis auto plant.  Things are following a very predictable timeline.

BLOOMBERG – Chinese carmaker BYD Co. inquired about taking over an idled Stellantis NV plant in the Toronto suburbs, according to a local politician, signaling possible global interest in Canadian auto hubs in the midst of a trade battle with the US.

Supreme Court Rule 5-4 to Eliminate Lawsuit Against White House Ballroom and National Defense Complex – Chief Justice Roberts Joined the Minority

Somehow Chief Justice John Roberts found that a single person who walks past the White House every month and doesn’t like the proposed appearance of the ballroom has some standing to sue and block construction. Go figure. Roberts also decided that the Obamacare mandate wasn’t a tax.

Roberts joined with the minority DEI judges in his position [RULING HERE]. However, the majority decision was against the woman having standing to sue. Therefore, the lawsuit was dispatched and the building can continue.

SCOTUS BLOG – […] On Monday, a divided court granted the government’s request for a stay, permitting construction to move forward while the litigation continues in the lower court. The majority’s opinion focused primarily on its conclusion that the National Trust likely does not have standing to challenge the project. The trust had submitted a declaration from Alison Hoagland, a member who lives in Washington, D.C., and said that she visits the area where the White House is located approximately once per month. Hoagland, who has “expertise in historic architecture,” claimed that the project caused “‘injuries’ to her ‘aesthetic, cultural, and historical interests’ because she finds the ‘scale,’ ‘height,’ and ‘massing’ of the government’s design distasteful.” But those are not the kind of “concrete” and specific injuries required to bring a lawsuit, the majority explained.

President Trump Holds an Oval Office Event to Outline Newest U.S. Prescription Drug Price Reductions

Earlier this afternoon President Trump held an oval office event with several leaders in the pharmaceutical and medical sector, to discuss the latest developments in the reduction of prescription drug prices.

White House – President Donald J. Trump announced nine new agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers to lower prescription drug prices for Americans in line with the lowest prices paid by other developed nations (known as the most-favored-nation, or MFN, price). The agreements bring the total number of pharmaceutical manufacturers with MFN deals to 26, covering 89% of the branded drug market.

[…] These nine pharmaceutical manufacturers committed to invest at least $19.6 billion collectively in U.S. manufacturing in the near term. Additionally, as part of the MFN agreements, several companies are donating active pharmaceutical ingredients for key products to the Strategic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Reserve (SAPIR) to reduce reliance on foreign nations and ensure the United States has an adequate supply of such products in the event of an emergency. {source}

Dept of Transportation and DHS Hold Press Conference to Announce Emergency Action on Commercial Driver’s License Revocation

Dept of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Dept of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin hold a press conference to announce emergency DoT and DHS action to initiate an emergency shutdown of regulated training centers for commercial driver’s licenses.

Actions announced include DoT (1) Emergency removal of 110 commercial driver’s license (CDL) schools associated with more than 5,000 drivers who failed English language proficiency tests. (2) Launching a nationwide audit of third-party CDL skills testers and states’ oversight of the testers. (3) Results from 40-state investigation of additional training schools. From DHS (1) Synchronized single-day sweep targeting more than 200 training schools across 23 states. (2) Joint coordination with USDOT. (3) HSI and ICE updates on ongoing investigations targeting CDL-related businesses and schools.

Secretary Duffy and Secretary Mullin outlined the issues and actions in a press conference this morning. WATCH:

[Press Release Here]

What Secretary Mullin outlined in his remarks is stunning.  During one taskforce setup, in the first day they stopped 14 big rig drivers with a CDL that said “No Name Given” for the truck driver’s identification.  They didn’t even have names on their commercial driver’s licenses.

At 41:10 of the video, a reporter downplays the issue claiming only 1% of the accidents on the road are caused by drivers who do not speak English.  Secretary Mullin responds with a very intense pushback against the reporter.

Merz Prepares to Blame Russia for Sketchy Leipzig Airport Drone “Attack”

The drone in question was a limited distance quadcopter that needed to be remotely operated from a visible location.  Everything about the Leipzig airport drone attack story was sketchy {BACKGROUND}.  Germany said they were investigating the failed “attack” and now reports are surfacing that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is likely to pin the blame on Russia. Because of course he is.

Together with the U.K and France, Germany is one of the key NATO partners in the so-called ‘coalition of the willing’.  German bases are currently being used by NATO allies to stage their Ukraine military support and logistics.

The German economy is in a severe state of contraction, opposition political parties are gaining momentum and Merz, like Macron, needs a distraction.

BERLIN, Aug 30 (Reuters) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Sunday Berlin was preparing a response to the suspected drone attack on a Ukrainian cargo plane in Leipzig this month in coordination with its European and NATO partners.

“We are in the process of concluding the investigation. There is broad consensus within the Federal Government on how we should respond, and we will make this clear in the coming days; it won’t be long now,” he said in an interview on ARD public television.

Germany has so far not said officially who it believes was behind the suspected attack attempt at Leipzig/Halle airport on August 4, when an explosives-laden drone was discovered near a Ukrainian Antonov cargo aircraft used for military supplies.

On Saturday, the daily Die Welt reported that in the next few days, the government would blame Russia for the attack and announce measures that would include sanctions coordinated with European Union partners.
