Tucker Carlson Notes the Success of the Freedom Trucker Protest and the Hypocritical Political Response

During his opening segment today, Fox News host Tucker Carlson discussed the Canadian Freedom Convoy and the results they are achieving.  During a portion of the segment Carlson mentions the YouTube channel ZOT.   Tucker Carlson does a great job outlining the current status of events in/around Ottawa and contrasts the response from the government.  It’s a good segment. CANADA – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office has indicated the government’s willingness to “respond with whatever it takes,” to bring the trucker convoy protests under control, confirming federal ministers and top Canadian officials are working with U.S. representatives to “resolve” the situation.

This comes as political pressure has been increasing across Canada and in the United States to see the anti-mandate and anti-government blockades end.

Trudeau held a series of late-night meetings on Thursday about the situation, including with key cabinet ministers and senior officials, and opposition party leaders, though no new measures were announced. (read more)

Justin Trudeau and the Canadian Government Cannot Defeat This Movement, They Know it

It is the natural state of the human condition to be free.  What we are seeing in the Freedom Protests and Freedom Convoy in Canada are simply outcomes of that natural human condition.  In the final analysis this natural truth is why Justin Trudeau will fail; the only thing to be decided is whether he participates in the removal of freedom blocks, or whether he is crushed by those who refuse to relent.

Ask yourself this question: For the Trudeau government, what could ‘winning’ possibly look like now?  Crushing his own people?  Think about it.

Canadians and Americans are a peaceful, tolerant and patient people.  We are consistently the most compassionate, faithful and generous people in the history of all mankind, but we are also very purposeful.  Around the world the freedom movement is on the march.  You see, when pushed far enough, hard decisions are reached… And we have been pushed much further than simply ‘far enough‘.  ENJOY:

Fellowship is the essential ingredient to a purposeful life. How and why, we interact with each-other is how and why we recharge our core humanity.  People who cherish freedom are standing together.  We stand with our Canadian brothers and sisters.

From Fort McHenry in the United States to Downtown Ottawa in Canada 2022 the message is the same.  We are The People and we cherish freedom. Governing requires consent… and when our consent is withdrawn, the government is nullified.

Right now, they are afraid, and their effort to retain control is a classic exhibition of their fear.

Ontario Court Freezes Access to GiveSendGo Crowdfunding for Freedom Convoy Truckers, UPDATE GiveSendGo Responds

UPDATE: GiveSendGo Responds:

(LINK)

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has gone to court to freeze all of the GiveSendGo crowdfunding donations raised for the Freedom Convoy truckers.  The current GiveSendGo fundraiser sits at $8.4 million US.

There is a lot of legal complexity here, and it is not clear the Ontario court has any jurisdiction let alone a feasible way to determine or enforce how and where the funds are distributed.   However, in the bigger picture the government is trying to block the funding of the Freedom Convoy.

Premier Doug Ford is the leader of the “progressive conservative party,” the Canadian version of the DeceptiCons.

Apparently, the premier coordinated with Ontario Attorney General to file a restraint order under 490.8 of the Criminal Code, identifying the funds as “offense related property.”

CANADA – The Superior Court of Justice has granted a request from the Ontario government to freeze access to millions of dollars donated through online fundraising platform GiveSendGo to the truckers convoy protesting COVID-19 restrictions in Ottawa and at several border crossings.

Freedom Convoy Border Blockades Expand, Justin Trudeau Cries for Help

The Freedom Convoy trucker protest has now expanded and is starting to hit more U.S-Canada border crossings, while the main trucker convoy remains in downtown Ottawa. The Coutts border crossing, between Alberta and Montana, is shut down as truckers have closed every lane.

However, after 12 days of pressure – and a typical Alinsky response from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – things are beginning to escalate. Now, in Windsor, Ontario, the Ambassador Bridge to Detroit – the busiest land crossing on the U.S-Canada border, has been effectively blocked.

The government of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is starting to panic.  “They’re essentially putting their foot on the throat of all Canadians,” Bill Blair, Canada’s minister of emergency preparedness, said Wednesday. “It can’t be allowed to persist.”  Yet, the Trudeau government is quickly discovering their biggest Achillies’ heal in this issue.  There is no logistical way to stop truckers from blocking the roads and bridges.

The logistics of trying to forcibly remove the big rigs with tow trucks is a nightmare.  Additionally, the tow truck companies are not willing to support the government in a fight against their own profession.  Slowly, the uber elite who think they are the rulers are starting to realize just how little power they have when the “workers of the world” really do “unite”.   Trudeau really is starting to panic:

Canadian Liberals Deeply Worried They Might Lose COVID and Be Forced to Return to Normal

According to Canadian media, the Liberal party is deeply worried the Pandemic might end, and they will be forced to return to normal.

Anxiety over losing COVID-19 as a justification for their fear and worried state is creating even greater feelings of nervousness and trepidation.

Liberals are not yet ready to accept the loss of their pandemic sense, and the reality of having to live normally is a burden too great to contemplate.

CANADA – […] Psychology experts expect stress and anxiety to run high among those who remain wary of letting their guards down. It will take time for many to adjust, they say, but the quick approach some provinces are taking could make the transition more jarring.

[…] After two years of being told to avoid the virus, it will be hard for some people to switch their mindset, Joordens said.  Limited PCR testing, which previously helped indicate how much COVID-19 was circulating, adds another complicated wrinkle by removing some of the information people used to weigh their own risk. (read more)

The leftists are desperately hoping their Justin can protect them from having to experience a life without fear of a virus.  It is a very unsettling time for a Canadian Liberal, as the larger Canadian public are so easily willing to let go of the pandemic fear.  Greater compassion is demanded.

The Liberal members of Canadian politics are demanding more time, more time to prepare their delicate sensibilities, as the government will have less rules and regulations for them to follow.  Returning to life as an arbitrary endeavor, fraught with all its natural risks, is like forcing Canadian Liberals to fry bacon naked in the kitchen.

RCMP Again Threaten Enforcement Action at Alberta, Coutts Crossing Trucker Blockade

With the U.S. White House announcing their intent to get involved in the Canadian Freedom Protest, the RCMB now announces their intent to begin an enforcement action at the Alberta truck blockade in/around the border crossing between Coutts, Alberta (CA) and Sweet Grass, Montana (USA).

Last night Alberta Premier Jason Kenney gave a weak sauce speech claiming he would begin to remove COVID mandates.  However, a closer review of the proposal showed it was a head fake.  The truckers then moved back into position to close the roads and the Coutts border crossing was blocked.

It is not yet known how the Canadian federal police (RCMP) plan to remove the blockade as the big rig towing companies have previously refused to participate.

CANADA – Enforcement will begin Wednesday afternoon to reopen traffic to the Canada-U.S. border at Coutts which is being blocked by an ongoing protest, according to RCMP.

The blockade has been ongoing for more than a week, in solidarity with the trucker protests in Ottawa and other parts of the country.

Lanes have been open in each direction, however traffic was shut down once again about 8 p.m. Tuesday, soon after Premier Jason Kenney announced the province was ending the Restrictions Exemption Program and lifting mask mandates for schools and children age 12 and under.

Viral Video, Freedom Will Win if Canadians Stand Together

The message here is right over the target. {Direct Rumble Link} Make it viral.

Every institution and agency are aligned against freedom, but they are the few – we are THE MANY.

They may control and twist the legacy and corporate media, but we are no longer reliant upon them to see what is happening, and what is happening is beautiful.   WATCH:

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.

The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”

Alberta Canada Premier Attempts COVID Mandate Removal in Name Only, Truckers Respond With Enhanced Blockade

Alberta provincial head Jason Kenney held a press briefing today attempting to give the impression that state vaccine mandates would be lifted.  However, the truckers were smartly not hoodwinked by the highly political move and instead moved back into a hardened position to blockade the Coutts border crossing.

Holding a press conference to make his announcement [Full Video Here], premier Kenney said, “We cannot remain at a heightened state of emergency forever. We have to begin to heal, and so Alberta will move on. But we’ll do so carefully, we’ll do so prudently, we will do so only if it does not threaten the capacity of our healthcare system.” Kenney then outlined some softening to the covid restrictions.

Provincial rules that require students to wear masks in Alberta schools will end on Monday, and children under 12 won’t have to wear masks anywhere starting then.

Kenney stated a provincial work-from-home order will expire on March 1, along with the provincial mask mandate.  At the same time, the limits on social gatherings and students being permitted to be in non-socially distanced proximity with other students in schools will be removed.

However, while Premier Kenny said the vaccine passports called ‘Restriction Exemption Program’ (REP) would be eliminated at midnight tonight, the QR codes check-in gates would continue; vaccine requirements will remain; vaccine discrimination can continue by private businesses with government support; govt healthcare workers must still be vaccinated or get fired; entertainment venues would be allowed to sell food & drinks again (but customers must be seated); and rules on closing times, alcohol service times, table capacity in restaurants, and social distancing would remain in place.

Quebec Liberal MP Speaks Out Against Stupidity of PM Justin Trudeau Position on COVID Mandates, Immediately Removed From Position

Liberal MP Joël Lightbound lightly criticized some of the stances of Canadian Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday.  Within hours, the peer and party pressure upon him led to his removal from his position as Chairman of the Quebec caucus.

Lightbound encouraged the Trudeau government to provide targets to lifting restrictions; he was not implying that public health measures should be lifted immediately. He also committed the cardinal sin against COVID by asking for epidemiological data behind restrictions to be published, so people can see the information determining what measures need to be in place.

Transparency is against the interests of those within the government who weaponize covid fear.  The Liberal MP also spoke about the ongoing anti-mandate protests that started as a response to cross-border vaccine mandates, saying that messaging amid the demonstrations is dividing Canadians.  WATCH:

I fear that this politicization of the pandemic risks undermining the public’s trust in our public health institutions. This is not a risk we ought to be taking lightly.  I have enough respect for my fellow Canadians not to engage in these easy and absurd labels.”

The response was immediate and severe.  There can be no dissent from leftist orthodoxy.
