Two significant shifts for Canadians appear to come out of the recent tour of Europe as highlighted today by Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The first development is the formal declaration that Canada has joined the “coalition of the willing”, along with the U.K, France and Germany. The second announcement is that Canadian troops will join the coalition of the willing and put boots on the ground in Ukraine, as part of the coalition’s security guarantees for Ukraine. Canadian troops that train with US troops routinely can’t even fuel their own vehicles! When the Canadians come to Yakima Proving Grounds to train, they SUCK OFF OF our resources! So HOW are they going to operate in Ukrainea? I doubt that President Trump is going to feed, fuel, transport and medically evacuate their soldiers when it come to that! CARNEY and the CORRUPT government in Ottawa are nuts!
Since the stated reason for the invasion in the first place was to keep NATO out, inviting NATO in after peace insures that Russia will never agree. Either these people are as dumb as a bag of hammers or it is deliberate sabotage of Trump’s efforts for peace.

Boots are about all the Canadians will be able to put on the ground. After ten years of deliberate neglect by the Trudeau dictatorship our vehicles are under 50% operational. We haven’t had any mobile antiair capability for decades, no SPGs and only a handful of towed artillery pieces, obsolete antiarmour weapons and negligible air assets. That said, the UK, France and Germany aren’t much better off.
Good summary re the state of Canada’s military. None of it matters since any Canadian involvement in the Ukraine farce is eyewash for continuous cash kickbacks. Its a joke. Without US leadership and support the EU and Canadians couldn’t “protect” a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific

I’m having a great weekend. This is the best comedy that I’ve seen in a while. Canada getting directly involved in that basketcase of country called Ukraine.
