Put this in the ‘beyond ridiculous’ file that explains the current situation of a contracting European economy; specifically, in the auto sector.

Europe has fines associated with the production of gasoline powered engines if the auto company doesn’t hit targets for sales of electric vehicles.  The fines triggered this year.  In order to avoid paying the European fines the auto makers are forming alliances with Chinese EV makers to purchase carbon credit offsets.

In essence, EU car companies buy Chinese car company carbon credits, to avoid the EU fines.  The Chinese car companies can then use the carbon credit revenue to subsidize lower priced Chinese EVs to the European car market, thereby undercutting the European EV car companies.  BRILLIANT!

MILAN, Oct 21 (Reuters) – Automakers have formed alliances to help them avoid hefty European Union fines on carbon emissions by purchasing credits from electric vehicle companies. Several legacy automakers face potential fines as the transition to EVs in Europe has proved slower than expected in recent years.

No, this is not a parody of sorts. Unfortunately, this is the current reality in the U.K as governed by a gaslighting professional political class that has lost all connection to reality.  At a certain point, people just laugh at them.

The U.K. social fabric is being torn apart as a result of mass illegal migration that shows no signs of stopping.  The people of Great Britain are at their wits end and the financial status of the government is near collapse.  Nerves are frayed as the British government now steps forth to claim they have finally discovered the cause of their illegal alien influx.  It’s the Russians.

Russia is attempting to flood Europe and the UK with illegal migrants in order to destabilise the EU and Britain, a Bulgarian minister has warned.  The country’s interior minister, Daniel Mitov, claimed Moscow was working with people smugglers to help them bring illegal migrants to the continent.

He also blamed “neo-Marxist groups” and warned British teenagers that they faced jail and fines if they try to help such organisations at the Bulgaria-Turkey border.

Illegal migrants now use this border to enter Europe more easily after it became the EU’s south-eastern external border when Bulgaria joined the EU’s Schengen area in January. (link)

Following their conference and meeting at Chequers, the residence of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Trump and PM Starmer held a joint press conference.

The two leaders delivered remarks about a joint technological agreement and organization of business leaders who are structuring technological deals between the two nations.  They also took questions.  WATCH:

The grand pomp and indulgence were on full display as the British Royal Family hosted President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a state dinner.

During the historic banquet, King Charles toasted Britain’s ‘remarkable bond’ with the US and in a warm and witty speech welcomed the Trumps to Windsor Castle.  Meanwhile, in his toast, Trump boasted that the United States and the United Kingdom had brought peace, prosperity, and innovation around the world, and congratulated King Charles on having at least one good son (lol). WATCH:

According to the Daily Mail [Full Details Here], the Prince and Princess of Wales were deployed, at the start of the royal charm offensive, to greet the Trumps in the Walled Garden on the Windsor Estate when the Marine One helicopter arrived – with Mr. Trump telling Kate: ‘You’re beautiful’, according to a lip reader.

In one of a number of flourishes being added to the American leader’s trip, the helicopter landed on the lawn of the garden nestled in the private Home Park.

William and Kate welcomed the Trumps and walked a short distance with them to meet King Charles III and Queen Camilla outside Victoria House to launch the trip.

In total, around 120 horses and 1,300 members of the British military were involved in the ceremonial welcome at Windsor, with 160 personnel from the Royal Marines and Royal Navy, 1,000 from the British Army and 140 from the Royal Air Force.

As much as things change, for some reason they stay the same.

The British media, including the Daily Mail [SEE HERE] deny the crowds attending the Tommy Robinson “Unite The Kingdom” rally today in London, England.  From transparently observable videos, the scale of the crowd is easily over a million, yet the media claim only 110,000 attended.  The gaslighting is extreme. WATCH:

The U.K. media focus on what was apparently a predetermined skirmish as the authorities permitted the massive crowd to end up facing a group of around 5,000 counter-protesters. [SEE HERE]  Once again using the label “far right” and “extremist” to define any group of British citizens who stand in opposition to the globalist immigration influx.

It really is amazing how the media in Great Britain refuse to acknowledge the scale of nationalist sentiment that has been growing for the past decade.  Instead, both the British government and the British media collaborate to dismiss the majority as a fringe element of racist far-right nationalists.
