WikiLeaks continues to release daily batches of emails from the account of Clinton’s life-time fixer John Podesta. Today’s release is batch #17 bringing the total released so far to over 30,000:

There is a talking point about Obamacare failing as the cost shifts are too extreme upon the participating (paying) electorate, etc.
[…] State insurance regulators across the country have approved health care premium increases higher than those requested by insurers, despite a national effort to keep rates for policies sold on Affordable Care Act exchanges from skyrocketing, a USA TODAY analysis shows. (read article)
The underlying argument is a fundamentally flawed premise. ObamaCare was never designed *not* to overwhelm you with the shifting of massive costs. ObamaCare was designed to crush you in costs.

ObamaCare architects (ex. J Gruber) had three key political special interest groups from K-street involved. The primary two were Labor Unions and Corporations (Wall Street); the secondary (useful politically only) group was social progressives.

♦ Earlier today ABC/WaPo announced a new “media daily tracking poll“; a collaboration with Langer Research and Associates, a progressively minded strategic partner.
Fortitously, on the same day, WikiLeaks reveals an internal communication within the Clinton camp that also discusses “media polling” and provides an extensive attachment to an archived Atlas Project political polling research memo.
[We have formatted into a pdf for your review]
The combination of the two events provides an excellent opportunity to show and discuss how ‘media polling’ is constructed to sell an approved (and intentional) storyline; a narrative.
Before getting to the Atlas Project memo it is important to step back and review the commentary within the WikiLeaks email: (more…)
It’s not like the media can say they didn’t know this was going to happen.
(August 2nd, LA Times) […] Any objective observer of the news media’s treatment of Trump can certainly conclude that reporters are taking a side in this election — and they don’t have to be wearing a button that says “I’m with her” for this to be readily apparent. The irony is that the media’s Trump bashing may wind up having the exact opposite of its intended effect.
Polls shows that journalism is one of the least respected professions in the country, and with Trump calling out media organizations for their bias, widespread slanted reporting is bound to reinforce this point — and to backfire. Trump’s campaign is throwing down the gauntlet to the political class. If journalists are seen as the mouthpiece of that class, they may soon find themselves covering Trump’s inauguration. (link)

The most important media battle, is the battle for your mind…
Break yourself free of “battered voter syndrome”….

Since the DNC convention ended at the end of July candidate Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine were only together once, on Labor Day September 5th in Ohio. Today they are together for the second time for two appearances in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. (more…)
On October 14th, Dinesh D’Souza spoke to the largest regular convocation of young people in the country at Liberty University.
During a portion of his speech he reminded the Christian audience what is at stake in the 2016 election. His comments were specifically targeted toward those who are claiming a moral high ground and considering sitting out the election
When you contemplate what D’Souza has gone through -as a target of a weaponized government, incarceration, forced re-education counseling, and the loss of his ability to vote in any election- his words carry a more resounding tenor:
Current DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile has been embroiled in a controversy ever since WikiLeaks revealed her collusion with the Clinton campaign to provide primary election town hall questions in advance. CNN has attempted, and failed, to separate themselves from Brazile and the accompanying controversy. Now this:

The Alfred E Smith charity dinner at New York’s famous Waldorf Astoria is an election year tradition for decades. The dinner typically provides a welcome break from the heated tone of the campaign trail with candidates delivering humorous speeches that poke fun at their opponents and themselves.
You can watch a live stream below of both speeches at the Dinner in New York City. Live stream coverage starts at 7:30pm EDT:

Update Here’s the Trump and Clinton Remarks. Donald Trump first:
Here’s Hillary Clinton: (more…)
Here’s another great example of ridiculously manipulated media polling, courtesy of the State of Arizona, the Arizona Republic and Real Clear Politics.
This latest construct of alternate reality is a great example because it shows how easy it is to dispatch the credibility of often mentioned Real Clear Politics (RCP) “polling averages“.
Beginning with Real Clear Politics selling the narrative:

Now look at how the Arizona Republic release today manipulates the RCP: (more…)
Earlier today on CNN Clinton Campaign spokesperson Brian Fallon stated: “in the next three weeks we expect the polls to tighten significantly“. Wait, huh.. wha?
The reason for Fallon’s prediction is brutally obvious, the current media polls are nonsense. As a result, the polling averages are nonsense. As a result the electoral maps the media want to sell today -based on those polls- are nonsense…. In essence, the same bias media coverage is embedded in their biased media polls.
In response to Hillary Clinton’s unconscious collapse in New York City, media immediately demand Donald Trump release his medical records…

Fortunately, we are at the stage in the presidential race where it is actually possible to guage what’s going on by looking at ballots, early voting, absentee ballot distribution modeling, and comparisons to prior elections. Even if the media doesn’t want to take that approach, we can do it ourselves.
Reader/Contributor “FLEPOREBLOG” has assembled some data to highlight reality. Empirical data rebukes the gaslighting and help people break the abusive cycle of battered voter syndrome:
