The leaders of the specific transition teams, generally become administration officials within those agencies.  Therefore, it is worth paying close attention to who is assigned to lead the silo changeover in the transition process.

Remember Howard Lutnick is in charge of personnel, while Linda McMahon is overseeing policy.

Robert Wilkie, former Veterans Affairs secretary in the first Trump administration, is leading the Defense Department’s transition team.

Senator John Thune has been groomed by Mitch McConnell to be his replacement for decades.  Thune’s ascension to the role of Senate Majority Leader is essentially a foregone conclusion.

Senator Thune will carry the full support of roughly 15-to-20 senate DeceptiCons (deceptive conservatives), and perhaps a dozen more squishy ones in the middle who want great committee positions. The important dynamic that comes into play now is Senate Committee Chairman “leverage” for Donald Trump’s nominees.

Earlier today on CNBC Senator John Thune discussed the upcoming secret ballot election for Senate Majority Leader.  WATCH (prompted):

Essentially, this is Thune’s gentle first shot requesting President Trump “stay out of” the senate caucus decision.  Likely, what matters most to President Trump is getting his nominees past the Republican majority confirmation process.  Thune was in previous talks with President Trump several months ago, and again several weeks ago in Mar-a-Lago.

Senator Thune doesn’t want President Trump to put his finger on the scale. If matters of the Senate are left alone, Thune ascends – period. However, Thune isn’t stupid and would like Trump to support him. Essentially, Thune would welcome intervention so long as the intervention came with an endorsement.

The first selection by President Trump, highlighting his team to enter the White House, has been made.  President Trump selects Susie Wiles to be his Chief of Staff in the White House.  Mrs Wiles will be the first female White House Chief of Staff in history.

“Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected. Susie will continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again,” Trump said in a statement. “It is a well-deserved honor to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”

(Via AP) – Successful chiefs of staff serve as the president’s confidant, help execute a president’s agenda and balance competing political and policy priorities. They also tend to serve as a gatekeeper, helping determine whom the president spends his time with and whom he speaks to — an effort Trump chafed under inside the White House.

Wiles is a longtime Florida-based Republican strategist who ran Trump’s campaigns in the state in 2016 and 2020. Before that, she ran Rick Scott’s 2010 campaign for Florida governor and briefly served as the manager of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman’s 2012 presidential campaign. (link)

Check out (video at :50) who was at the White House today for Joe Biden’s post-election speech, John Podesta. Interesting.

While Biden was effusive in his praise for Kamala Harris’ campaign. It seemed like his comments were more passive aggressive snark than genuine compliments. Maybe there is something to the rumors of Biden Inc disliking immensely the Obama/Harris camp.  Video Below:

In Florida, Judge Ailleen Cannon threw out the “classified documents case” against President Trump, citing in her opinion that Special Counsel Jack Smith had no constitutional authority to target and charge President Trump. Did you notice the missing DOJ appeal effort?

In the J6 case President Trump was accused of conspiring to illegally overturn the 2020 election. Charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. However, the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, again threw a wrench into the Lawfare strategy.

President Trump wins a massive electoral and popular vote landslide election. Within 12-hours the DOJ announce that technical legal processes block them from targeting a president-elect and sitting president.

The non-pretending reality of the issue is that Jack Smith and the Lawfare attacks were always going to end up in appeal to the Supreme Court, and the high court had already put its opinion on record. The election result provides the DOJ an excuse, a plausible justification to save face.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is going to end up riding his bicycle in slow circles at the end of the White House driveway while waving toward the windows, unless he finds a way to work himself into a more strategic position.  It’s a little funny.

It will be very interesting to see how Barack Obama and Kamala Harris responds to her total defeat.  Initially, I thought there would be room for civility; however, after seeing the New York Governor Hochul and AG James announce their intent to continue targeting President Trump, it appears the Marxists have made a ‘resistance’ decision.

Unburdened by what could have been, but wasn’t, Kamala Harris reportedly called President Trump earlier this afternoon and conceded the race.  She is scheduled to deliver remarks from Howard University at 4:00pm.  Kamala’s tone will be Obama’s tone.  Kamala’s remarks will be Obama’s remarks.  The end of an error is over.  Both of them will attempt to remain relevant. Currently leading by 5 points in both Nevada and Arizona, President Donald Trump is on pace to win every battleground state in the 2024 election.

The states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, previously labeled the “blue wall,” have been called for President Trump.  These three states are where James Clyburn spent most of his time on the ballot initiatives.  However, most of the critical regional ¹ballot printing operations were defeated.

Last night, President Trump secured Georgia and North Carolina.  President Trump is on pace to have shattered every battleground state result and achieve 312 electoral votes.  A resounding victory.

(Via Politico) – Donald Trump won Michigan, once again turning the state red just four years after his defeat in 2020.

Both candidates spent a number of their final days in the Great Lakes State as polls projected a race hanging on a knife’s edge. Both Trump and Kamala Harris emphasized manufacturing and the economy in their visits, addressing voters’ worries about lingering post-pandemic inflation — a chief concern that bolstered the former president’s appeal.

Grab your favorite beverage, this is long.

For two years I was asked to present thoughts on potential candidates for offices in/around the Trump administration if they can achieve victory in the 2024 election.  Essentially, if Trump wins, “who” would be best in “what” positions?

I was extremely reluctant to put something together because ultimately, I look at the challenges with a different perspective. Additionally, I am not confident that key people around Donald Trump fully understand the complexity of the problem, and as a result would not absorb the context of any suggestions I might offer.

However, having spent the past 18 months traveling, quietly tracking, methodically researching, looking, listening; digging deep in the places that few understand or pay attention to, and after careful thought, prayer and reflection, I began to think that perhaps a slight change in the presentation might actually be beneficial.

Thus, I began in July of 2024, writing very specifically about who might be best suited for roles and responsibilities. Not from the perspective of the person per se’, but rather from the perspective of a fully understandable context for the position; the reality of what can be pragmatically accomplished, and detailed reasoning for why the challenge they will face exists.

This is a beginning with the end in mind approach.

It is NOT my intent to provide a private list of recommendations. What I wanted to do was set a cornerstone of how each role could, predictably, be anticipated to engage with each challenge; then, ultimately, what I believe they will have to do in order to make progress.

The result was a public series of non-pretending presentations, where all of the traditional civic perspectives that people carried might be challenged.

Roles and responsibilities are only valuable if we define and accept the problem from the same perspective.  It is with that thought in mind that such an undertaking begins.

With success in the 2024 election, President Trump will have one 4-year term to begin charting a new course within our government.

President Trump cannot be expected to fix or repair all of the damage created within our Constitutional Republic in one term.  However, it is possible for President Trump to set the cornerstones in place that ensure the greatest likelihood of success for a modern restoration.
