Two interviews from British politicians provide a great juxtaposition to reveal how post-Brexit Britain is reflecting upon President Donald Trump’s “America First” economic agenda. The first interview is with Nigel Farage and was conducted by the primary stealth agent for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Neil Cavuto.
For those who don’t follow multinational corporatist politics closely, Neil Cavuto is Rupert Murdoch’s male version of Megyn Kelly on the business side. Simultaneously, Cavuto is the primary cocktail party host for all of Tom Donohue (U.S. CoC) events.
In an effort to avoid the backlash and brutal sunlight felt by Ms. Kelly, Cavuto monitors his own propaganda distribution much closer now than he did previously. It’s been six months of no action since the Brexit referendum vote to leave the EU. Recent reports claim Brussels is likely to insist on freedom of movement for EU citizens in and out of the U.K. in return for full access to the EU single trade market. This is a major test for the fortitude of May, who Brexit supporters feel must outline a hard exit with no middle-ground for free movement access.
Piers Morgan appeared on a weekly BBC broadcast to discuss President-elect Donald Trump and the ramifications of a Trump administration.
It’s a little funny to watch the tender liberal BBC pundits loosen a clenched grip on their pearls. However, in addition to accurately telling the Snowflakes to ‘suck it up’, Morgan accurately outlines the determined approach PE Trump takes to solving problems.

France’s Marine Le Pen spoke to her supporters and detractors alike when she announced recently if she succeeds in the French election her first foreign visit would be to Brussels to dismantle France’s relationship with the European Union.
The 48-year-old candidate said: “I would go to Brussels to immediately launch negotiations allowing me to give back to the French people their sovereignty.”
(Via Express UK) […] The right-wing leader attacked the faltering euro currency as one of the root problems of the EU and described her main economic proposals as “economic patriotism, intelligent protectionism and a return to monetary independence”. She added: “The euro is a major obstacle to the development of our economy.”
WARNING: Reporting is somewhat sketchy. However, early reports indicates one or two men adorned in Christmas or Santa outfits, and armed with rifles, entered a nightclub in Istanbul Turkey and opened fire on the crowd. According to current reporting there were as many as 500-800 people in the club when the shooting began.
UPDATE 1100pm EST: At least 35 people have been confirmed killed, with approximately 40 more wounded. UPDATE 1:00am EST Unfortunately the death toll has now climbed to 39 people killed and 69 people wounded. There are many foreign nationals missing. The gunman/gunmen are still at large.
CNN REPORT: Istanbul (CNN) – At least 39 people were killed and at least 69 wounded in an attack in a nightclub early Sunday as they were celebrating the new year, Turkey’s Interior Minister said.
“We are face to face with a terror attack,” Interior minister Suleyman Soylu told reporters. Twenty-one of the dead have been identified, he said. Of those, 16 were foreign nationals and five were Turkish”.
US officials also called it a terrorist attack, making it the first of 2017. Soylu also said that “the efforts to locate the terrorist are ongoing. Security forces have begun the necessary operations. God willing soon (the attacker) will be apprehended.” (read more)
