First Lady Melania Trump releases a statement following the assassination attempt against the life of her husband, U.S. President Donald Trump.
“A monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine attempted to ring out Donald’s passion – his laughter, ingenuity, love of music and inspiration,” Melania writes. “This morning, ascend above the hate, the vitriol, and the simple-minded ideas that ignite violence,” she added.
There is a particular type of grace that surfaces when a daughter grows stronger as a direct result of a closely bonded mother’s guiding wisdom. Historically and generationally, women of eastern Europe are known for a particular style of strength. Always prepared to be left alone due to conflict, war, or the loss of hardened warriors, an internal fortitude is created blending femininity with a deliberate, cold and pragmatic approach at life. The daughters of these quiet but strong-willed generational women, learn skills of emotional control, loyalty, deliberateness and fortitude that turn the finest silks into fabrics stronger than titanium. It is transparently obvious that Melania learned well from Amalija.
Paying tribute to the guiding hand upon her life, to her mentor, counselor, friend and beloved mother, First Lady Melania Trump delivers a farewell eulogy to her guide. If you have ever wondered where the centered strength of Melania Trump originated, listen carefully and you can hear the heartbeat of Amalija Knavs in this delivery. WATCH:

[White House] The First Lady and I send our warmest wishes to all Americans as we celebrate Christmas. While our gatherings might look different than in years past, this Christmas, like every Christmas, is an opportunity for us to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and show our heartfelt gratitude for the abundant blessings God has bestowed upon our lives and country.

[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: Well, thank you very much. Please. And I just want to congratulate everybody. The Dow Jones Industrial Average just broke, for the first time in history, 30,000. It’s now — (applause) — that’s good. That’s great for jobs, and it’s good for everything. And this is the ninth time that we set a record during the course of 2020, and it’s the 48th time that we’ve set the record during the Trump administration. And there’s never been anything like that. So I just want to congratulate everybody that worked so hard: the White House, but maybe most importantly, the people of our country. It’s a tremendous achievement.
President Trump and First Lady Melania will both be campaigning today. Our first lady is traveling to Pennsylvania to continue the Keystone state surge (lucky PA), while President Trump heads to the Midwest (Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska) and Western states (Nevada). Arriving at Joint Base Andrews the president and first lady take questions from the assembled press pool prior to departure. [Video and Transcript Below]

[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: So, thank you very much. Melania, as you know, is going to Pennsylvania. That’s very exciting. I’d like to go with her and be with her. She’s going to make a speech in Pennsylvania, and that’s great. And she does very well. Very popular.
President Trump delivered a remarkable tribute to the heroes of Flight #93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania as he and the first lady pay their respects: “The heroes of Flight 93 are an everlasting reminder that no matter the danger, no matter the threat, no matter the odds, America will always rise up, stand tall, and fight back.” – – – “The only thing that stood between the enemy and a deadly strike at the heart of American democracy was the courage and resolve of 40 men and women.”
“Our sacred task, our righteous duty, and our solemn pledge, is to carry forward the noble legacy of the brave souls who gave their lives for us 19 years ago.” … “In their memory, we resolve to stand united as one American nation, to defend our freedoms – to uphold our values – to love our neighbors – to cherish our country – to care for our communities – to honor our heroes – and to never forget.” [Full Video and Full Transcript Below]

[Transcript] – THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you, David, very much. It’s a great honor to be with you.
Nineteen years ago, on this day, at this very hour, on this field, 40 brave men and women triumphed over terror and gave their lives in defense of our nation. Their names and their stories are forever inscribed on the eternal roll call of American heroes.

Vice-President Pence’s speech concludes a spectacular evening showcasing the optimistic perspective of the republican message for 2020, which is a stark contrast from the despair and weak message evidenced within the democrat convention. WATCH:
