Sounds correct to me.
I’m starting to feel sorry for Canadians. That’s a stretch for me because I’ve visited Canada and heard first hand their arrogance toward us. But the train wreck that is gaining steam will hurt many Canadians and help no one.
My only question after reading the piece is whether President Trump in the end will find a way to help Canadians save themselves. Having a destroyed country on our border is not an ideal situation.
That’s exactly what will happen, we can’t afford a security risk on our northern border.
We secure it anyway (they hardly have any military) that’s why we have Alaska.
They’ll just lose most of their sovereignty in the process.

Those ten other jobs result from spending and re-spending the manufacturing payroll, supporting other businesses where that payroll is spent, including construction to build housing for the manufacturing workers. That is also why, in the inverse, when a small factory with a few hundred workers in a small town closes, the entire town dies when that payroll ends.
So – with an average multiplier of ten, those 72,000 new manufacturing jobs will support 720,000 other jobs. Not too shabby.
