President Trump calls in to Fox News following the assassination attempt last night at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner.  WATCH:

Details are surfacing about Cole Tomas Allen, the 31-year-old California schoolteacher who tried to gain entry to the venue in order to assassinate President Trump and/or cabinet members in attendance.

A manifesto was sent to relatives prior to the effort saying the gunman wanted to target administration officials. Investigators also found extensive anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric across his social media accounts. According to reports [AP Newswire], Allen’s brother alerted New London Police Department after receiving the alleged manifesto before the incident.

U.S. Secret Service and Montgomery County Police Department later interviewed Allen’s sister, Avriana Allen, at the family home in Rockville. Key points from the interview: She said her brother often made radical statements and spoke about doing “something” to fix today’s world. She confirmed he bought 2 handguns and a shotgun from Cap Tactical Firearms and stored them at their parents’ home reportedly without their knowledge.

Additionally, Cole Tomas Allen regularly trained with firearms at shooting ranges. He was reportedly linked to a group called “The Wide Awakes.” and he attended a “No Kings” protest in California.

The gunman who attempted to gain entry to the White House Correspondents Association dinner has been identified as Cole Tomas Allen, 31, a schoolteacher from Torrance, California.  A registered Democrat who donated to Kamala Harris campaign.

Cole Tomas Allen Engineering at Cal Tech 2013 – 2017, a master’s degree in computer science 2025.

Early reports suggest the shooter was a guest of the Washington hotel and assembled a long rifle prior to making entry to the venue. According to local police, the suspect was armed with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives.  The suspect was not struck by gunfire. One of the Secret Service Agents was shot during the gunfire.

Avriana F. Allen, 27, of Washington, D.C., is the sister of Cole Tomas Allen, the 31-year-old Torrance, California teacher identified by authorities as the suspect in the April 25, 2026, shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Public records confirm the sibling relationship through shared mother Kathleen A. Allen and prior family address in Torrance. {source}

President Trump announced today, the U.S-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by three weeks.

President Trump posted news of the extension on Truth Social following a meeting at the White House that included “high ranking” representatives from Israel and Lebanon in addition to Vice President Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa. “I look forward in the near future to hosting the Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu, and the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun. MARGARET BRENNAN: So the President said Iran broke the ceasefire, but he is still offering them a deal. Is this a presentation of terms, or should we expect an actual, prolonged negotiation?

MIKE WALTZ: Well, I think this will be a continuation of the terms that the vice president offered a week ago. And look, we have to take a step back here in that – President Trump, the US Navy is controlling what is coming out of the straits. We’ve had the highest level engagement in the history of the Iranian regime, with the vice president leading. We have historic ceasefire talks going on between the Israelis and the Lebanese. The markets are up. Oil prices are relatively stable. The Iranian economy is devastated, and they’ve never been, I can tell you here at the United Nations, they’ve never been more diplomatically isolated. So Iran does not have the cards, and we are confident they will come to the table and finally give up their obsession with having a nuclear weapon.

It appears the blockade was successful in finally convincing Iran they had very few options.  Additionally, as we all well understand here, the blockade was halting oil shipments to China. It is very likely that Beijing was also putting pressure on Iran to reach a deal.

President Trump has announced a two-week delay in destroying Iran, based on a reciprocal agreement to open up the Strait of Hormuz for shipping.   (VIA TRUTH SOCIAL)

“Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE!

The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.

Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. Last September, the Trump administration designated ANTIFA as a domestic terror group. Shortly thereafter the first charges of domestic terrorism were filed against a network of ANTIFA members who attacked an ICE facility in Texas. Yesterday a jury found them guilty.

[Full Story from CBS] – Eight defendants were found guilty Friday of providing material support to terrorists for their roles in the antifa attack on the Prairieland ICE detention center in 2025, marking one of the most sweeping terrorism‑related convictions in the case to date.

The verdicts came as nine defendants stood accused in the July 4, 2025, plot targeting the facility in Alvarado, Texas, following weeks of testimony from investigators, law enforcement, and cooperating witnesses.
