Given the destabilized and tenuous nature of the current supply chain, many people wondered if the Biden administration would actually be stupid enough to follow through with a truck driver vaccination mandate.  The answer is yes.  Please conduct yourselves accordingly.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) updated their guidance yesterday [LINK HERE] and put a hard date of tomorrow, January 22nd, for the trucker vaccine mandate at all border crossings and ferry terminals.   Canada put the vaccine mandate into effect last week, January 15th.

[Dept. of Homeland Security] – [..]  “Starting on January 22, 2022, the Department of Homeland Security will require that non-U.S. individuals entering the United States via land ports of entry or ferry terminals along our Northern and Southern borders be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to show related proof of vaccination,” said Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas. “These updated travel requirements reflect the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to protecting public health while safely facilitating the cross-border trade and travel that is critical to our economy.”

These changes – which were first announced in October 2021 and made in consultation with the White House and several federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – will align public health measures that govern land travel with those that govern incoming international air travel.

Perhaps the mainstream media is starting to wake up.  NBC is now reporting that cross-border auto parts and food shipments may start being disrupted as the trucker vaccine mandate begins.  Approximately 60 to 75% of all U.S. truckers are not vaccinated.  The cross-border vaccine mandate for American truckers begins January 22nd as part of the Dept of Homeland Security protocol.

In October DHS announced:

…”beginning in early January 2022, DHS will require that all inbound foreign national travelers crossing U.S. land or ferry POEs – whether for essential or non-essential reasons – be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination. This approach will provide ample time for essential travelers such as truckers, students, and healthcare workers to get vaccinated.” (link)

The Canadian trucker vaccine mandate began January 15th, the U.S. mandate begins this weekend, January 22nd.  Given the scale of out of season fresh fruit and vegetable shipments from South and Central America, as well as Mexico, we can anticipate serious issues in the food supply chain.  The NBC article highlights trade with Canada, but that’s miniscule when compared to the trade we get from Mexico.

When I first saw the headline about Joe Biden paying illegal aliens $450,000 per person in reparations, I thought it was a joke.  So I contacted a friend who works for DHS in Washington DC to check.  I just received independent confirmation this story is entirely legit.

The Justice Department, Health and Human Services and Dept of Homeland Security are in negotiations with representatives from the ACLU and lawyers representing illegal aliens to pay out $1,000,000 per family for the hardship they endured in crossing the border illegally in 2017 and 2018.   Approximately 1,000 families will each receive a million dollars giving the total settlement a taxpayer cost of around $1 billion or more.

WASHINGTON—The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.

The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said. Most of the families that crossed the border illegally from Mexico to seek asylum in the U.S. included one parent and one child, the people said. Many families would likely get smaller payouts, depending on their circumstances, the people said.

Panama Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes told Axios News that she had meetings this week with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and members of Congress to warn them that another massive caravan of 60,000 Haitian migrants are now en route to the U.S-Mexico border.

(VIA AXIOS) […]  Mouynes expressed her exasperation to Axios after spending months warning leaders across the hemisphere of the impeding Haitian wave.

• “We’ve engaged with every single authority that we can think of, that we can come across, to say, ‘Please, let’s pay attention to this,'” Mouynes said.
• A Homeland Security spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

By the numbers: More than 85,000 migrants have passed through Panama since January — most of them Haitians.

• Roughly 20,000 to 25,000 Haitians have already made the trek to the U.S.-Mexico border, with most being allowed to enter the United States.
• Beyond those already admitted or deported back to Haiti, another 60,000 are most likely still on their way north, the minister said.

The big picture: Panama is often the first country to provide medical help, food and shelter to northbound migrants — despite their travels through multiple South American countries like Colombia and Peru.  (read more)

Well, this just makes things exponentially more f**ked up.   Earlier today, Joe Biden claimed the mounted Texas Border Patrol officers were “strapping” and whipping Haitians who were attempting to illegally cross the Rio Grande river into Del Rio, Texas.  Biden declares to the nation: “Those People will pay“…

And now the rest of the administration and media will have to join with the Biden narrative and push the fake news.   Which is exactly what happened when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked moments ago.

Now that Biden is pushing a transparently obvious lie; and now the administration and media are forced to support this transparently obvious lie; and now the leftist supporters in America will have to maintain support for this transparently obvious lie; and that only further divides the country.

A rather remarkable development. The Biden administration has announced that all foreign travelers to the U.S. must be vaccinated. “All foreign travelers flying to the U.S. will need to demonstrate proof of vaccination before boarding, as well as proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of flight”, said White House COVID-19 coordinator Jeff Zients, who announced the new policy on Monday.” (LINK)

However, illegal aliens from around the world who cross the southern border from Mexico into the United States do not have to provide proof of vaccination or COVID test.  WATCH:

If this seems like a bizarro-world standard…  it actually gets worse.

Today, Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas traveled to Del Rio to evaluate the crisis of 16,000+ illegal aliens, mostly from Haiti, camped out under the overpass.  “We are very concerned that Haitians who are taking this irregular migration path are receiving false information that the border is open or that temporary protected status is available,” Mayorkas commented during prepared remarks to the press.   However, approximately 30 minutes before Mayorkas made those remarks, DHS told CBP to grant asylum entry to 8,000 of those illegal migrants from Haiti.

DHS grants 8,000 Haitians entry into the U.S…..  DHS then walks to a microphone and says Haitians are receiving false information that entry permitted.

The Biden administration cannot even lie well.

The efforts of the Biden administration to collapse the U.S. immigration system and open the borders to unrestricted illegal alien migration are being extremely successful.  Tens of thousands of illegal border crossers are now assembled in Del Rio, Texas, hometown to the Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol, Raul Ortiz.

The issue has become so overwhelming Ortiz told Houston media, “We’ve never seen a migration population explode so quickly on the immediate border like we saw over the last 72 hours.”  Approximately 13,000 illegal aliens are now encamped underneath the overpass of the international bridge connecting Del Rio, Texas, to Ciudad Acuña in the Mexican state of Coahuila.

Among the invasion forces are massive numbers of Haitians, thousands of them, who previously fled their homeland to South and Central American countries like Brazil and Columbia. After gaining visas to South America they work their way through Panama, Central America and into Mexico where they take organized buses from left-wing open border aid groups and eventually taxi cabs to Del Rio where they walk across the Rio Grande unimpeded.

The Obama administration previously began supporting this network of travel in 2012 during the “unaccompanied alien children” crisis.  However, currently the same system is working in overdrive, because the Obama crew has installed Joe Biden as a disposable figure to facilitate the fundamental change Obama failed to achieve when he was restricted by political backlash.

In the 2021 version of Obama’s operation, the invasion force is no longer limited to children or teenage central American gang members. Now we see entire families of economic migrants, and those who know the U.S. taxpayer will be forced to fund their life in the U.S, flooding the border in extreme numbers.

This evening the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Texas in a lawsuit against the federal government.   [View pdf Here]  The outcome is a ruling requiring the Biden administration to reinstitute the “remain in Mexico” policy put into place during the Trump administration.  The policy requires asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while they await hearings in the United States.

The ruling was 6-3 with Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer dissenting from the majority opinion.  The ruling is a significant victory for Missouri and Texas, the two states who sued over Biden’s repeal of the policy and won a favorable ruling earlier this month requiring the Biden administration to return to the Trump-era policy.

Generally speaking, the working-class Mexicans support Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador (AMLO), but find themselves frustrated by his seemed naivete about the scale of internal corruption.  AMLO is in a tough spot, because of the corrupt influence of cartel money combined with the influence of multinational corporations taking advantage of his nation.

President Lopez-Obrador and President Trump found their common partnership easy, because the Trump doctrine was essentially supporting the authentic voice of the Mexican people; while asking for help on specific issues (border security).

President Trump supported America-First, and President Lopez-Obrador supported Mexico-First; neither Trump nor AMLO put corporate needs in front of their citizens.

The United States, Mexico-Canada trade Agreement (USMCA) was built upon that foundation.  However, the CoC multinationals were unhappy about the overall USMCA agreement, because it did not protect them from economic nationalism.

Economic nationalism is exactly what President Lopez-Obrador is attempting to leverage against Big Agriculture, specifically Monsanto Inc, and we support it 100%.

They are rubbing it in our faces now.  As CTH warned yesterday, this is not hypocrisy – this is the United States Government, Department of Homeland Security, initiating an enhanced and intentional effort to antagonize lawful American people into a place of extreme anger.  This is not hypocrisy.

The Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) is now announcing enhanced travel restrictions for law-abiding Americans, blocking non-essential travel into Mexico and Canada.  Simultaneous to this the same, ironically named, Homeland Security is facilitating a mass influx of illegal entry into the United States.

Often we see people ask, ‘Why are they so openly admitting to their wrongdoing and still carrying it out’?  Within the answer I have written frequently, ‘They simply do not care’.  It is not a sense of boundless hypocrisy that drives the far-left to showcase their disconnect.  The disconnect is not cognitive dissonance.  The disconnect is purposefully part of the ideological advancement of their goal.

The leftists, the “elites” writ large, are so open in their proclamations of being beyond reach – because they want us to view their power as all encompassing.  They act as rulers and dictators without accountability because that puts the victim, We The People, automatically in a demoralized subservient role.
