[DATA HERE] As a current surge is underway, the August apprehension rate was 304,162, the highest of any month so far on record.

Mayor Rolando Salinas of Eagle Pass recently told The New York Post they are bracing for “anywhere between 4,000 to 9,000 migrants” over the next few days.

For comparison, the entire Southern Border set a record when 10,000 people attempted to cross from Mexico in a single day in May.
