Democracy Losing Ground in Venezuela – U.S. State Department Responds…

The outcome for a peaceful democratic Venezuela looks less likely today after dozens of pro-Maduro armed militia (‘protesters’) stormed the opposition-controlled National Assembly in Caracas and began attacking politicians.  At least 12 politicians and several journalists are said to have been wounded.

Events unfolded as socialist Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was speaking at another part of the capital during a military parade to commemorate Independence Day.  At least 90 people have died in violent clashes at near-daily demonstrations in the past three months.

(U.S. State Dept.) The United States condemns the July 5 attack on members of the Venezuelan National Assembly by armed supporters of the government of President Nicolas Maduro. This violence, perpetrated during the celebration of Venezuela’s independence, is an assault on the democratic principles cherished by the men and women who struggled for Venezuela’s independence 206 years ago today.

Wunderkind Macron Threatens Putin/Assad With Unilateral “Red-Line” Action…

President Trump’s EU strategy is swimmingly effective. Truly, President Trump’s multinational approach is jaw-droppingly transparent (they’ve obviously never read any of Trump’s books), and today France’s Emmanuel Macron showed just how thoroughly disconnected he is from understanding his own position.

Wunderkind Emmanuel Macron, following the exact same advisory recommendations which planted egg on Obama’s face, threatens Vladimir Putin and Bashir Assad with a red-line of military action if chemical weapons are used in Syria:

“Any use of chemical weapons would results in reprisals and an immediate riposte, at least where France is concerned,” Macron said, standing next to Putin in the Versailles palace outside of Paris.  (link)

Emmanuel Macron threatening unilateral action if Syria’s Bashar Assad uses chemical weapons? Hilarious, if it wasn’t so substantively dangerous.

The orbit of influence surrounding the wunderkind (all caviar liberal socialists) have convinced Macron that now is the time to project a strong EU image to compensate for President Trump’s bold stance pointing out the EU need to step out from behind the skirt of NATO and provide for their own defense.  Politically, Macron’s yapping might play well with a domestic or EU centric audience…. Remarks By President Trump at NATO – Memorial Unveiling…

Like a boss.  President Trump throws the irony into hyper-drive telling the entire group of NATO socialists: it’s time to pay their fair share.

[Transcript] 4:39 P.M. CEST – PRESIDENT TRUMP:  Thank you very much, Secretary General Stoltenberg.  Chancellor Merkel, thank you very much.  Other heads of state and government, I am honored to be here with members of an alliance that has promoted safety and peace across the world.

Prime Minister May, all of the nations here today grieve with you and stand with you.  I would like to ask that we now observe a moment of silence for the victims and families of the savage attack which took place in Manchester.  (A moment of silence is observed.)  Thank you.  Terrible thing.

Former U.S. President Obama Preaches Inherent Value of Communism to Italian Audience…

This is more than a little bit disconcerting.  This past week former President Barack Obama was in Milan Italy; paid €3,000,000 ($2.5+ million) to deliver remarks to an international summit on food innovation called “Seeds and Chips”.

During the Q&A segment of Mr. Obama’s performance he was discussing challenges to the global community and governmental policy amid the larger food production discussion. Part of the discussion involved the issue of technological innovation displacing the need for human labor within farming and the agricultural industry.

While directing the discussion of workforce displacement, Mr. Obama took the opportunity to expand the conversation into more general terms.   What Obama said about labor distribution amid new and emerging economies is stunning. Perhaps even more stunning is the reaction from the European audience.  (video prompted 44:36)

(44:36 of video) […] This is a much bigger concern in the economy as a whole.  And my guess is that ultimately what is going to happen is that everybody is going to have to work less and we’re going to have to spread work more.

But that is going to require a reorganization of the social compact.  That requires we change our mindset about the link between work, income and value of people in the teaching profession, or in healthcare, or in certain things that cannot be done by AI or a robot.

Stunning Fake News – CNN Promotes Conspiracy Theory That Milo Organized Berkeley Protests Against Himself…

CNN has continued to lead the way in manufactured news cycles through the past two years.  However, last night on Don Lemon’s show they took fake news broadcasting to new levels of ridiculousness.
During a segment with Robert Reich, Don Lemon and Reich promoted a conspiracy theory that Milo Yiannopoulous actually manufactured the Berkeley protests in an effort to shut down his own speech:

.
Robert Reich […] Don, and I want to be very, very clear. I was there for part of last night, and I know what I saw. And those people were not Berkeley students. Those were outsiders, agitators. I’ve never seen them before. There’s rumors that they actually were right-wingers, they were part of a kind of a group that were organized and were ready to create the kind of tumult and danger you saw that forced the police to cancel the event.

Russian Conspiracy Theory Spreads To U.K Parliament – Putin Now Blamed For Brexit…

The left-wing globalist moonbats, and the movement they represent, has found a common enemy, Russia.  Their ideological avoidance knows no boundary.
putinhead2renzi-hollande-cameron-obama
Not content to simply blame Russia for the failure of Hillary Clinton, a British member of parliament is now blaming Russia for the Brexit vote. But wait, it gets better.
According to MP Bradshaw Russia is also to blame for the decision of France’s Socialist President, Francios Hollande, not to seek re-election.  No, really… not kidding.  Watch:

Cameron’s loss, Clinton’s loss, Renzi’s loss, Hollande’s loss… it’s all Russia’s fault.

Right Now We Have Longest Soup Lines In History of America, You Just Can't See Them…

“Electronic Soup Cards”

That term, “electronic soup cards“, is simply brilliant.  It is powerfully brilliant because it is entirely correct.
As a person who searches for simple word assemblies to covey significant issues, I must admit that concise terminology is the best turn of words I’ve heard in years.
soup-kitchen-2
Factually, if the number of American people on EBT or SNAP welfare benefits had to line up for soup and meals (instead of just get money on an electronic card for use anywhere), there would be massive lines, miles-long lines, all day and all night in hundreds of thousands of soup kitchens nation-wide.   Such visibility would make the soup lines of the great depression seem insignificant by comparison.
The EBT and SNAP cards are exactly that, “Electronic Soup Cards”.

Venezuela On The Brink…

If, like me, you haven’t been keeping up with the escalating crisis in Venezuela, you might be surprised at the scope of the protests in the past few days.
With massive food shortages still ongoing as a result of the economic crisis created by Nicholas Maduro policy, millions of people are now taking to the streets of the capital city of Caracus; and even chasing Maduro out of small towns and villages.

(Via ABC) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro reportedly was greeted by angry pot-banging protesters during a visit to Margarita Island.

Grainy cellphone videos said to be from the Friday night encounter were picked up by Venezuelan news sites and were trending on social media. The socialist leader is seen jogging through a crowd as residents loudly bang on pots and hurl obscenities.

His visit to Margarita Island earlier Friday evening was broadcast nationwide. Images of the protest were later posted by residents of the town where it reportedly occurred. (link)

Venuzeula's Food Crisis Worsens…

Sean Penn unavailable for comment on the socialist utopia he promoted to bring forth into the U.S.

venezuela civil war 2CUMANÁ, Venezuela — With delivery trucks under constant attack, the nation’s food is now transported under armed guard. Soldiers stand watch over bakeries. The police fire rubber bullets at desperate mobs storming grocery stores, pharmacies and butcher shops. A 4-year-old girl was shot to death as street gangs fought over food.  Venezuela is convulsing from hunger.

Hundreds of people here in the city of Cumaná, home to one of the region’s independence heroes, marched on a supermarket in recent days, screaming for food. They forced open a large metal gate and poured inside. They snatched water, flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, potatoes, anything they could find, leaving behind only broken freezers and overturned shelves. (more…)

Diet Leninism – Coca Cola Halts Production in Venezuela Due To Sugar Shortage…

Last month they lost their beer and toilet paper; this month they lose their soda… Meanwhile, back in the U.S.A, Sanders and Clinton campaign for same economic policies.
super marioCARACAS, Venezuela – Coca-Cola is halting production in Venezuela of its namesake beverage due to a sugar shortage brought on by the country’s grinding economic crisis.
The Atlanta-based company said in an emailed statement Friday said that its production of sugar-sweetened beverages will be suspended in the coming days after local suppliers reported they had run out of the raw material. Sugar-free beverages are not affected and the company said its offices and distribution centers remain open in Venezuela.
The move comes as Venezuela’s economy is teetering on the edge of collapse with widespread food shortages and inflation forecast to surpass 700 percent. Last month, Empresas Polar, Venezuela’s largest food and beverage company, stopped production of beer because of a lack of imported barley. (read more)
