Earlier today, California Governor Gavin Newsom claimed President Trump never called him prior to the President’s decision to take control of the national guard. A few hours later President Trump showed the screen capture of his telephone call with Newsom proving the governor was a liar. President Trump was asked about it as he departed Fort Bragg returning to Washington DC.

If there’s even a chance of no peace, we stay there until there’s peace.” “I called in the military in Minneapolis, but it was seven days. As President Trump called for the National Guard to enforce order in Los Angeles amid protests over ICE activity, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem tells “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” that “we are not going to let a repeat of 2020 happen,” referring to the unrest in Minneapolis following the killing of George Floyd. SECRETARY KRISTI NOEM: Good morning. Thank you for inviting me, Margaret.
MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, we are seeing from the President’s proclamation that he can federalize- he says, 2000 California National Guard forces for 60 days under Title 10 authorities. Which units are being deployed? Are they military police, and exactly what are their orders?
SECRETARY NOEM: Yes, President Trump is putting the safety of the communities that are being impacted by these riots and by these protests that have turned violent, and he’s putting the safety of our law enforcement officers first. So these 2000 National Guard soldiers that are being engaged today are ones that are specifically trained for this type of crowd situation, where they’ll be with the public and be able to provide safety around buildings and to those that are engaged in peaceful protests, and also to our law enforcement officers so they can continue their daily work.
With California Governor Gavin Newsom willfully and intentionally abdicating his responsibility to ensure law and order in Los Angeles, President Trump authorizes the National Guard, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Dept of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to take charge of protecting federal law enforcement operations.

Numerous incidents of violence and disorder have recently occurred and threaten to continue in response to the enforcement of Federal law by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other United States Government personnel who are performing Federal functions and supporting the faithful execution of Federal immigration laws. In addition, violent protests threaten the security of and significant damage to Federal immigration detention facilities and other Federal property. To the extent that protests or acts of violence directly inhibit the execution of the laws, they constitute a form of rebellion against the authority of the Government of the United States.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has announced it is not his job to enforce the law, protect the citizens of California or provide for domestic tranquility. He is giving the rioting mob carte blanche to continue the chaos:
As a consequence of the mayor, police commissioner and now Governor abdicating their responsibility to retain law and order, President Trump is now coordinating a full federal response to assist the citizens of Los Angeles.
Anyone who was following politics in 2007 and 2008 knows exactly what role the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) played in supporting candidate Barack Obama.
As Obama and Hillary Clinton battled for control of the Democrat apparatus, Barack made a deal with SEIU President Andy Stern. If the purple orcs would activate -violently if needed- on Obama’s behalf, when he became President Obama would remove the healthcare liability from the union retirement by creating nationalized healthcare, Obamacare.
Andy Stern agreed to the deal, marshalled his orcs and that was the army the Chicago machine used to defeat the Clinton machine. It was a bloody battle, and in the aftermath the PUMAs were born (Public Unity My Ass). SEIU President Stern became the #1 White House visitor to see Obama in 2009 and 2010, and the rest as they say is history.
The Chicago machine behind Obama is deeply enmeshed with classic communist objectives. In descending level of ideological severity, you will note: SEIU, AFSCME, AFL-CIO and the UFCW. All of these labor organization are open borders activists, radical leftists with severe ideological leadership who know how to weaponize their membership to act as ‘shock troops’ within the U.S. political system.
That’s the background for the SEIU to align with La Raza and attack the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials on Los Angeles yesterday and today.
With Democrats out of power in DC all the foot soldiers have once again been activated to achieve political objectives. ICE is the convenient target, but the larger objective is to create street level crisis similar to the BLM riots in 2020 and get back into power. Violence is once again accepted in order to achieve their political goals. The media runs cover for the violence, continually downplaying it – even as it gets worse.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Salvadoran native whose deportation generated a left-wing furor and sympathy campaign, is back in U.S. custody and will face federal human trafficking charges in Tennessee. [SEE INDICTMENT HERE]

Abrego Garcia faces up to 10 years in prison for each undocumented immigrant he transported. The grand jury leveled a series of serious allegations against Garcia including that he was a serial trafficker of undocumented immigrants, molested some of the victims of trafficking, and was involved in the abuse of children he transported.
As we often remind ourselves, maintaining a leftist ideology is contingent upon pretending not to know things, and that applies even when you are discussing the opposition not doing something that you yourself never did.
During a recent podcast interview, President Obama’s former National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, takes the pretending to stratospheric levels needed in order to retain Obama-level pretending. The criticism she rails against is so hilariously hypocritical I find myself wondering if anyone ever were to call her out, could she even respond.
Susan Rice complains about President Trump having a relationship with the duplicitous “Qataris,” who she proclaims are terribly nefarious and dastardly, and no President should have a relationship with Qatar. Laughably, it was Susan Rice herself who constructed the “CIA Finding Memo” for President Obama to sign, which authorized sending Surface to Air missiles to Qatar, which would then be transferred by CIA Director Leon Panetta to Libya. It was Susan Rice herself organizing covert operations inside our government using the horribly nefarious Qataris she now says are terrible.
That’s only one background reality amid more than a dozen points of gaslighting hypocrisy I could point out from this interview. However, for the sake of recent headlines, the part where Susan Rice complains about President Trump not trusting or using the CIA’s Presidential Daily Brief is almost too funny {prompted below}. President Obama famously didn’t put any value on the PDB and didn’t even want it, sending it to almost two-dozen staff so he didn’t have to bother with it. Methinks Mrs Rice doth protest too much. For seven straight minutes Secretary of State Marco Rubio sat and listened to criminal alien apologist Chris Van Hollen blast him for enforcing immigration laws, supporting MAGA foreign policy and revoking the guest visas for criminal protestors on college campuses. Van Hollen was trying to blast Rubio and fundraise from his far-left communist constituents. Rubio listened respectfully.
Then came the moment, “may I respond” asked Rubio, and within the response Senator Van Hollen completely lost his cool, shouted angrily at Rubio despite being told his time has expired, and was forced to listen to Senator Rubio inform him that yes, Rubio not only plans to revoke the visas of the agitators, but that Rubio had just asked for an even longer list of campus protesters who were recently arrested so he could personally ensure those visas were revoked. The DOJ has announced a criminal assault charge against New Jersey Democrat Representative LaMonica McIver, who was involved in a physical confrontation with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials outside a federal immigration facility in New Jersey earlier this month.
