New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted by a Virginia grand jury on a federal charge of bank fraud. [INDICTMENT HERE]
WASHINGTON — New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat who has clashed with President Donald Trump, was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Virginia, three sources familiar with the matter confirmed to NBC News.
James was charged with one count of bank fraud after Trump publicly called for his Justice Department appointees to bring charges against her. The case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge Jamar K. Walker, a Biden appointee. (more)

Steve Bannon had Joel Gilbert on his show today to discuss the Letitia James scandals that covers fraud events for mortgage companies, banks, insurance companies, and tax authorities. Very good information and definitely compelling.
Here is Gilbert’s original posting:

This case really should not require a trial. The documents are right there – sworn-to and notarized, and demonstrably false.
And-d-d-d … these are not the only ones! More indictments are sure to be added soon. In fact, she has quite a history of doing this.
No. The indictment specifically uses the word “intent”. Would need to see the exact wording of any document James signed, but if “intent” is involved you will need a trial to establish that as a fact James “intended” to use the property as a rental.
Nonsense. She did(!) use the properties “as a rental.” Therefore, she never “intended” to use them as anything else. (And, in other contemporary but conflicting [tax …] documents, she said as much, describing them as such.)
The “documents” which she signed, and notarized, are ordinary loan and finance application documents. If you stated on any of them that you were to use them as your primary residence, when you were simultaneously renting-out (say …) “five” apartments, then there can be no argument that you did not “intend” to do so.
Similar example: “I am not guilty of robbing the bank, because I never ‘intended’ to do so.” The bank was robbed, and in this case it can be objectively shown that you did it. Here is the signature, and here is the notary seal attesting to it: “this person, known to me or having presented acceptable identification according to law, did before me …” The notary didn’t simply look at the signature already-dry, but witnessed it being executed. This is what the seal attests to – under penalty of perjury by the notary. And, “notaries don’t do that.”
And, like I said, “this first indictment is not the only example.” There are many. She’s been committing this same crime for a very long time.
Trump put his intentions to prosecute James in writing. Obama would have held a secret meeting to make Virginia file a criminal complaint.
And yah. MSNBC has multiple experts advising how the prosecution is revenge.
Not once mentioning the property is 501 miles from Albany, New York. Three renters are living at the property.
And big surprise. You can’t retract your perjury in a loan form by email. It is still perjury with a $1 million fine and 30 years in prison. All to save about $18,000 in mortgage costs over the life of the loan.
Geez!
You know, you can call it “revenge” if you want to, but maybe that’s just a reflection of the extremely-vicious attack that this woman tirelessly pursued, herself. She tried in every conceivable way to strip – exactly one person by name – of his possessions, wealth, and freedom. All the while she was breaking financial law herself … not just this once, but many times.
Instead of calling it “revenge,” I would call it “comeuppance.” A fate that you richly deserve. But, all of it entirely “of your own doing.” You signed those papers, swore to them, had them notarized. But you were lying all the while, and you knew it. This is what is called, “crime.”
“Revenge” is what someone else does to someone else. “Comeuppance” is something that you have only done to yourself.
Here is the difference in what Trump is doing. Words mean things you know.
Revenge is a personal, often emotional act of inflicting harm on someone who has wronged you, driven by a desire for payback or satisfaction. It is typically characterized by a personal vendetta, can involve disproportionate retaliation, and is motivated by the desire to see the wrongdoer suffer. It is often seen as a private, self-administered form of punishment that can fuel cycles of retaliation.
Retribution, in contrast, is a more structured and impersonal concept, referring to the idea of giving someone what they deserve as a form of justice. It is not driven by personal emotion or a desire for the offender’s suffering, but rather by a principle of fairness and proportionality. Retribution is often associated with a public, state-administered system of justice, such as the legal system, and aims to restore moral balance through punishment that matches the severity of the crime, as seen in the principle of “an eye for an eye”. Unlike revenge, retribution is bound by procedural standards and inherent limits, and is not intended to satisfy personal vendettas.
If she’ll lie about that …
Couldn’t happen to a nicer or more thoroughly deserving lady.
SHE EARNED IT.
The news never points out how James was found out. It was not because of anyone in the Trump admin.
A man who had served time in federal prison for bank fraud was hired by the gov’t to help them recognize fraud. That is how he makes his living today, educating financial institutions and gov’t on how to recognize fraud.
He had been working on his computer for this very job when he saw James on tv. He said that he occasionally takes breaks from his work to check public records on famous people, in this case James.
He did a simple property search for her, found records in NY and found it odd that 1) it appeared she owned her house with a spouse and the spouse had the same exact name as her father.
2) That led to his continuing the search of public docs and lo and behold, he found the very docs on her loan applications that have landed her in hot water.
He told someone, I think a local (NYC) talk show host. From there it snowballed into this.
Caught by an expert and a private citizen, not by the Trump doj.
Excellent point!!!
Yesterday I watched a movie with ads on YouTube. It was repeatedly interrupted by ads from James saying she had been indicted and needed money for her defense.
I was stunned to see these immediately after the indictment hit, clearly she had the ads ready to go before.
FAFO with the wrong person! Next up, Fani!
Judge Jamar says….. gimme somadat thunderlovin…..and y’all be skat’n free
The source of the Left’s problems stems from the fact that they are all so corrupt that they do not know anyone who isn’t. They use this to control each other. Along comes Donald Trump, and they are just screaming to do something about him.
Many people in Washington, DC cannot conceive – and, cannot stand(!) – that “Donald J. Trump” is an honest billionaire. He is someone who is worth many, many times more than they are. Yet he did not sell his soul to Satan to get there.
Wanna see what I mean? Tell the cabbie to drive that extra mile to a Trump® hotel. You will be treated like a member of the family who just happens to be royalty. All the “little things,” that of course are anything but “little,” are carefully but unobtrusively attended to. And yet, the rate that you just paid for the room is competitive. You’re going to come back there, because you want to come back there. (Trust me on this one …)
The only person who I’m aware of who ever did it better was the much-maligned “Queen of Mean,” the late, great, Leona Helmsley. She also relentlessly drove the idea of customer service into the soul of every employee who worked for her. And so, you “sought out” her hotels, also. You felt welcomed there.
I’m quite sure that companies who are renting office space want Trump® to be their landlord, also. You pay a competitive rate, but you get considerably more, because an organization visibly cares about you as a customer. “Little” things . . .
How many actually think this black criminal will get a severe sentence or just a slap on the wrist because she is black. I think most of us are going to be disappointed yet again.
CNN reports that Lindsay Halligan did not coordinate this action with Pam Bondi. Hmmmmm
She is being defended by DEMOCRAP lawyer, Abbie Lowell, who also represented Hunter Biden. He is also currently representing Fed. Member, Lisa Cook, another “victim” of mortgage fraud. The only silver lining: Abbie Lowell also represented former Senator Bob Menendez, now a convicted felon. So, maybe that’s a good thing?
If there is no conviction in this blue district of Norfolk (though not as blue as Comey’s Alexandria) – it needs to be appealed to SCOTUS.
Thank you for your attention to the matter
