Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Palm Beach Lear jet crash
Absence of port wing suggests airplane had been breaking up in flight, before impact with the ground
Likely the jet accumulated ice at altitude and then a stall and uncontrolled dive at unsafely high speed started tearing the plane apart due to imbalanced drag on the iced surfaces
or something
Please note also missing the outboard section of the left elevator — that’s the smaller horizontal wing at the tail; also missing the right engine, and the entire rudder and section of the tail.
When you fly airplanes through or near (TRW) they come apart. The bigger the storm, the more dangerous. Generally, height means more dangerous, and building is worse than dissipating. A 30-35,000 foot TRW will cause severe turbulence and maybe worse for a big airliner. These folks flew through a cell which went to 48,000′ !!! That’s the tallest I ever heard of except around the Equator where we very carefully pick our way through them each night. I would turn back long before I would penetrate a cell like that !
May God rest their souls.
I’ve spent time on a coupla tropical islands and am familiar with that convection-driven climate
10 degrees North latitude and 7 degrees South latitude
Florida has some similar weather part of the year, but not all year ’round I don’t think
Just looked it up, 24 degrees North latitude for Key West
God morning, friend. We can rest knowing God Still Wins.
Learjet expert reveals crucial mistake Learjet pilots made before horrific Florida crash
Several crucial human errors may have led to Sunday’s horrific Learjet crash in Florida that killed all nine on board, according to aviation experts.
The doomed $2 million aicraft, en route to the Bahamas from Texas, was flying through a storm when it suddenly stalled, likely between 35,000 and 37,000 feet, and began plummeting before crashing and exploding in a fireball near a trailer park in Palm Beach County.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the tragedy, but aviation expert Justin Crabbe noted to The Post that the jet’s pilots chose to fly through a dangerous storm — then attempted a risky escape that may have doomed them.
“They certainly should have gone around [the storm],” said Crabbe, a veteran pilot and the CEO of Jettly, a charter-flight booking platform that actually had the Sunday’sLearjet 60 in its listings.
“[Air-traffic control] gave them the flexibility to deviate around that weather,” he said.
Millionare had his entire family onboard, plus some friends
A real tragedy for his beautiful family
When I heard about the icing problems on this flight it reminded me of pro golfer Payne Stewart’s plane crash…
Heartbreaking ! Do not attempt to fly through thunderstorms.
They break up airplanes. Take a look at the radar and weather charts — they had plenty of room to deviate but didn’t. This crew did not know how to avoid a line of weather . Unbelievable !
I wonder if they were trying to give experience flying in storms to the junior pilot. She was young at 20 yo, had been licensed and flying for 3 years, but had an impressive 1500 hours of flight time. Her father was also a pilot, so it was in her blood. She didn’t have a driver’s license but could fly an airplane.
A conspiracy theorist might wonder if something overrode the controls.
What makes people make their decisions the way they do? There were two pilots up there… did they both choose to go through that storm?
We may never know. Awfully close to Mar-a-Lago.
just to clarify
the 1st line in bold is a link to the New York Post article, it’s fairly extensive and likely some of the best coverage at this point
just click on it
