Chicago is well known as a safe haven for domestic communist activity. Radical political groups, the Weather Underground, Revolutionary Communists, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn and their Chicago Alinsky disciples all have called Chicago home for their base of operations.
As a result, it does not come as a surprise that all these hard-core leftist elements have converged in commonality to physically fight against any effort to bring peace and stability to the Chicago metropolitan area. However, the scale and scope of their activity is still alarming to hear when explained by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
In this interview Secretary Noem notes that bounties of $10,000 per kill have been placed on the heads of the ICE/CBP officials currently operating to arrest criminal cartel members and illegal aliens. While she is careful to avoid giving details of ongoing investigations and interdiction efforts, Secretary Noem notes the scale of the threat presented by the alignment of these radical groups and their support for the criminal cartels who operate in the area. I remember in 1960, I was 9 years old, I asked my mother where my dad had gone to college. She replied, Your Dad graduated from the University of Chicago”. Then she drew closer to me and whispered, “That’s a Communist school, you know”.

My brother in law received his master’s degree from the University of Chicago in 2010 and is a huge, unabashed communist.

Sundance or someone with insight into Second City Cop or some other knowledgeable person about local law enforcement — could you please explain the chain of command to us, er, … outsiders or uninformed types ? What is the ‘Chief of Patrol’ ? Where does he or she fit into chain of command ? What authority does he/she have in term of of scope, etc. ? There were a lot of comments here about other police departments ‘normally’ rushing to aid of each other – which we all know is true — but help me out: what is the ‘normal’ protocol and how does it work ? I am trying to make sense of this and relate it to the legal jurisdictions. Operations and HQ often live in different worlds, but help me out with law enforcement.
If someone is offering bounties then track them down, its not rocket surgery.
Chicago and suburbs are a very highly surveilled region…there is no reason that it takes this kind of “time” to track them down.
During the George Floyd riots rental trucks would pull up and dispense masks and helmets to the useful idiots. In some locations they also dumped loads of bricks onto street corners fir the rioters to throw.
How hard would it have been to nab the drivers and track down their support networks? Not hard at all, if the FBI actually TRIED.

She was admitted in critical condition to a hospital and i read somewhere, was released…miraculous recovery.
Oak Lawn has lots of immigration lawyers, too…why have these people not pursued legal citizenship?

Thank you for sharing this and thank goodness for the Trump administration. He has assembled a unique and effective team and I hope they can clean up the violent protestors and also the sneaky saboteurs who for pay and gift cards stalk and harass people daily. These networks need to be dismantled.

Correction – A little geographical error on my part – now everything makes sense:. Earlier reports about the ICE agents from the Broadview facility being on routine patrol when attacked led to a discussion of the manpower and resources available to a small town’s police force. Now I learned the attack took place in Brighton Park ! That is an area 100% contained within the City of Chicago on the southwest side. So they were within Chicago city limits when attacked.
Take a closer look at the map. They were also perilously close to the infamous Chicago Sanitary Dist. canal – the same ‘navigable waterway’ which just happens to stretch through some of the worst neighborhoods in Chicago — with plenty of side channels and docks from sleazy old unterutilized or condemned industrial properties. Talk about no-go zones !
Connect this to the uproar earlier in the month over Customs and Border having boats on … the Chicago Sanitary Canal … and it all makes sense. Everyone has always known that really bad things come into Chicago straight from the oceans & ‘navigable waterways’ — but absolutely positively no one has ever done anything about it.
Now the attack on the ICE agents venturing into their territory makes total sense.
Someone knows exactly where to look.
