Publicly vowing to maintain criminality where possible, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson on Monday signed an executive order limiting where federal law enforcement can assemble, prohibiting any/all crime fighting efforts from using city-owned spaces for law enforcement activities.
“In recent weeks, federal agents used several City-owned properties—including parking lots near Harrison and Kedzie, and a vacant lot at 46th and Damen—as staging sites for immigration enforcement,” the mayor’s office said in a release about the order. “Such use of City property undermines community trust and runs counter to Chicago’s Welcoming City Ordinance, which ensures that all residents—regardless of immigration status—can live, work, and seek services without fear.”
Time to wake up Chicago! Democrats are not your friend anymore! Pols can either dazzle with brilliance or baffle with bullchit! Democrats no longer dazzle!

Are you kidding? There are very few Republicans in Chicago.
There are not enough Republicans to have one as an Election Judge at every polling place, so they fill the Republican positions (required by law) with Democrats. I know this because my wife and I both have served as Republican Election Judges. We had to take a class to qualify and were surprised at the number of Democrats who were filling positions as Republican Judges.
My wife and I lived in Chicago on the same street as former Governor Blago. You would think it would be a safe neighborhood and it used to be. We lived there for over 30 years. However, shootings began happening around the parks in the area. One park within blocks of us was shut down to all summer youth programs and turned into a migrant camp. The migrants proceeded to fan out into the neighborhoods. Suddenly there was grafitti all over the garages in the neighorhood. Stuff began missing from yards. The neighborhood became unsafe. Within two years of the George Floyd riots in Chicago, most of the people on our block, including us, moved to Florida.
Don’t let anyone tell you that Chicago is a safe place nowadays.

Move ALL Federal offices out of these blue hive mind cities. Out to the sticks with the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Courts and all Federal offices.
All “Federal” entities belong in D.C. anyway! The States are sovereign with their own governments and assemblies and should rely on the Sheriff’s for local law enforcement. If they need help, they know who to ask.
No community suffers more from leaving criminals on the street than blacks, who produce a very disproportionate number of criminals who very disproportionately victimize other blacks. Then they all suffer again from the resulting stigma of black criminality.
The second worst thing for blacks is illegal immigration, which mops up the jobs that would otherwise be available to blacks, and employers actually prefer them because they don’t have as high an expectation/stigma of criminality (so these two worst-for-blacks policies reinforce each other in the harm they do to blacks).
Yet ALL the black Democrat politicians support both of these radically anti-black policies, and almost all of the law-abiding blacks vote for them (with blacks voting Democrat at a rate of about 90%).
It is the law abiding blacks who are the problem. The criminals we could deal with: just throw all serious criminals of all races in jail and leave them there (a la Bukele in El Salvador) keeping them on the streets by playing catch and release.
It is the law-abiding blacks who are voting for this. The criminals can’t vote. And the combination of the heavy presence of blacks in most urban areas, together with their 90% preference for voting Democrat, has ruined dozens of American cities, turning them into hellholes of unchecked violent crime.
It is a testament to how much blacks live within the radical-left, mainstream-Democrat, media bubble. It doesn’t mean they are dumb. College students, the supposedly most intelligent white kids, are also falling overwhelmingly for the most dishonest radical-left propaganda on college campuses, and this happens at the highest rates at the most exclusive schools.
The supposed geniuses at Harvard are falling 90% for the most ignorant and morally perverted takes on free speech, on Hamas, on climate, and of course on race and immigration issues.
They all think it is “fascist” for the president to enforce laws passed by Congress, after getting elected on the promise that he would step-up enforcement of these laws.
But the fact that other demographics are also a problem doesn’t change the fact that black crime is a huge city-destroying problem, spread now across much of the country, and that as horrendous as the black crime itself is (insanely murderous, and at levels that are absolutely disgusting), they are not the biggest part of the problem.
The law-abiding blacks, voting overwhelmingly to keep the criminals out on our streets, keeping our cities unlivable, are the bigger problem.
Voting Democrat is the root cause of crime, and blacks are the ones controlling this.
If they switched to voting 90% Republican, that vote would determine urban election outcomes as consistently as their current 90% votes for Democrats do.
In one year they would all be living safe, building their lives, no longer in fear that whatever they built would just be taken from them.
The black Democrat politicians say they want to attack “the root causes” of crime. The actual root cause of crime is them.
If they can’t figure out the obvious then yes they ARE dumb, no matter what race they’re part of.
Therefore…
Any city or state properties being denied access to ICE should be subject to seizure by the federal government. Take them away from city of Chicago. Take them away from state of Illinois.
Take that Johnson and Pritzker!

Permitting no go zones to be established by communist mayors and governors is not a step forward in correcting our ungovernable state of the union. Making communities safe is the first responsibility of elected officials. Refusal is grounds for immediate removal under insurrection laws. Even if it’s not a perfect fit do it anyway. If you have your enemy by the throat and do not kill him, you are your own enemy.
Maybe just build a big, beautiful wall around Chicago. Then, as with the Hotel California, you can check out, but you can never leave.

Long past the point where DJT should invoke the Supremacy Clause from Article VI of the US Constitution
Flood Chicago with every non-military federal law enforcement officer he can muster and give them instructions to arrest any city employee who interferes with our efforts to enforce federal immigration codes.
Johnson has utilized city parks as migrant camps. He is trying to make it illegal for ICE agents to go into the camps because they would be on city property.
This Oct. 6, 2025 press conference held by Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling is interesting. He is non-political in the majority of his remarks clearly outlining that he communicates with Federal counterparts and outlines the Chicago ordinances being enforced and Chicago Police as well as ICE law enforcement responsibilities. There is one oddity … he denied that a “stand down” order was dispatched. He clearly explained the turf … an obstructive act when Chicago or Federal law enforcement are enforceing the law will result in arrest. The Chicago Police that were affected by ICE tear gas happened because the Chicago unit sent to the scene had been on duty elsewhere at a situation that did not require tear gas protective gear. The Supeintendent is walking a fine line …. trying to keep his job, protect people, correcting execution errors, and showing leadership to his team & constituents. His level-head shows that there are “common sense” local leaders cooperating with ICE … and each are staying in their “lanes.” He deserves a fair shake & the “news” needs to support the “comon sense” points (FoxNews is not).
