An interesting development, as one of the embedded Lawfare operatives is exposed by CNN. According to documents reviewed by CNN, the Dept of Justice fired Virginia prosecutor Beth Yusi for sending the unauthorized case file, against New York Attorney General Letitia James, to her personal email account.
Apparently, the transfer of files is the process used by DOJ Lawfare operatives to leak information to the media. Beth Yusi (pictured left) was fired for doing it, and shockingly CNN has the receipts.
(VIA CNN) – The Virginia federal prosecutor who resisted bringing mortgage fraud charges against New York Attorney General Letitia James sent investigative files with James’ personally identifying information to her own private email account, according an email reviewed by CNN.
The prosecutor, Beth Yusi, was dismissed earlier this month at least in part because of the mishandling of the personal information, people familiar with her termination said.
Yusi’s attorney Margaret Donovan told CNN that the former prosecutor “has no record of any such email” and “has never used her personal email account for any portion of any investigation. (read more)
In related matters, Letitia James appeared in court today, and took to the steps of the courthouse to say she was being politically targeted for her mortgage fraud. The hypocrisy is rich considering James ran on a specific platform to target her political opposition.
The hypocracy is especially rich since she actually did what she accused trump of doing.
What you do not understand is that with the left, it is hierarchy not hypocrisy.

Even if she deleted her received email, as mentioned elsewhere, it remains on the internet. Which raises the Q. why weren’t Hillary’s deleted emails tracked back to the origin?

The actual truth is, if you don’t have lots of money you cannot get justice in our legal system either defending yourself or bringing suit against someone who has wronged you. The laws are on the books, but something like lawfare is very effective against the middle class victim.
Trump is a fighter and he can afford to fight. Unless you go into a law library and try to represent yourself, the average Joe cannot afford representation in a court or justice for his cause.
In the case of this prosecutor, I am glad they caught her. Prosecutors are the worst culprits, with so much power and so little accountability to the average citizen. Press charges against her. Don’t just fire her.
It is much like congress, A obscure law or rule is pulled out of a hat that changes everything. The deepest pockets can drag cases out to the point of bankrupting the opposition or past the time a loss really no longer matters (the damage is done). The system is nothing like most imagine. A jury of our peers listening to our case nope, they listen to what the judge wants them to hear and that is only if the judge allows a jury! Just walking into a courthouse is risking jail time. Judges have way too much power with next to no oversight.

When federal employees are hired they swear an oath to the Constitution. After, or perhaps before, they do that, they should be required to read Article II of the Constitution. Article II says that all power, ALL power, in the executive branch is vested in the president. This needs to be made clear to them.

If you send classified or legally-restricted information, un-encrypted, by “ordinary” email, then you are making copies of it. The mail passes through “MTA’s” (like “post offices”), and you can expect that every one of them makes a copy. (Think: “Mail-Server Owner, cover your a&s if you get a subpoena …”) That copy is also probably un-encrypted (but not always …) and easily stolen.
It is not only cause for termination to do this, it is a crime for which you should be prosecuted. The internal working papers of a court case are legally restricted, and they know it.
James has no defense. A judge could enter a “directed verdict” of guilty against her without a jury trial. The documents are public sworn statements, made under penalty of law, and they are notarized. The notary seal affirms the identity of the signer, who must sign in the notary’s presence. (Notaries face very severe legal penalties if they fake a seal, so they don’t. Some now make video recordings of the act.)
The sworn statements are conflicting and false. This falsehood can be determined upon inspection – prima facie. There is nothing for a jury to decide. There is no political motivation. There is just a straight-up felony crime: “the penalty of law.”

It certainly appears that there is no system in place to scrutinize nor cross-reference the statements that are made on these bank applications. The banks simply accept them. And, “if the cat’s away, the mice will play.” These people probably thought nothing of it – just a way to save money and boost profits, and who would know or care?
What would happen if somebody actually gathered a few ten-thousand of these applications, and actually cross-checked them? I think I know . . . Probably way more crimes than the government is willing to prosecute. All of these people are probably evading and stonewalling enforcement because they are guilty, too!
“Home mortgages,” far more than commercial ones, are a retail bank’s bread-and-butter. How many of these loans are actually “solid?” How many are the result of fraudulent applications like these? What is the financial risk that the banks are under, that they haven’t bothered to care about? It’s supposed to be the government’s duty to know and to enforce this. Retail bank bread-and-butter has traditionally been commercial 90 day paper. Banks did not want long term loans to avoid liquidity risk. That (long term) business went to “savings and loan” institutions. Today mortgage origination, note ownership (and right to interest), and mortgage servicing are separated. Most notes are sold to the gov’t enterprises (Ginnie Mae, Fannie and Freddie) and subsequently securitzed into “mortgage-backed securities” (MBS) which are bought and sold on securities markets (a large fraction are owned by the Federal Reserve as assets — as of 10/23 2 trillion, 84 billion).
