Earlier today U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan unsealed previously hidden court filings revealing the DOJ’s request to silence Donald Trump via a judicial gag order [Read PDF Here].
Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is arguing that President Trump is undermining the fairness of the proceedings by pushing back against the narratives and leaks the DOJ is providing to the media. As noted by Smith, President Trump is “disparaging” and delivering “inflammatory attacks” on prosecutors, witnesses and the judge in the case.
I think we all knew this request was eventually going to happen. The question going forward is whether Judge Chutkan is willing to attempt to block the #1 presidential candidate from speaking, while simultaneously allowing the DOJ/FBI and Jack Smith to leak to the media.
Unfortunately, I think the intent to support the request is exactly why Judge Chutkan unsealed the request. She is trying to control the blast damage from a decision she fully intends to make.
Hallelujah! Ken Paxton’s defense attorney Tony Buzbee brings the fire today during his closing statement in the insufferable impeachment effort underway in Texas.
Delivering the non-pretending thunder-bombs, Mr. Buzbee laid waste to the manipulative and machiavellian Bush legacy with some resounding truths. This was awesome.
The full closing remarks are below the fold; but here’s the highlight where Buzbee declares “The Bush era in Texas ends today!” WATCH:
Tucker Carlson traveled to Argentina to review the outcomes of socialist policy upon the working class. The economic situation in Argentina is increasingly desperate as hyperinflation is destroying the ability of people to afford common and essential products.
During his visit he interviewed a libertarian candidate who has gained massive popularity. Javier Milei is running for office in the next presidential election and currently has the largest voting bloc of support. WATCH:
No matter how much time passes since that day on August 5th, 2015, when it became crystal clear that Megyn Kelly was working with Fox News VP of Political content, Bill Sammon, to construct the targeted hit against Donald Trump, I will not forget it. Bill Sammon and Rupert Murdoch were working to elevate Marco Rubio. Sammon’s daughter Brooke, was Rubio’s campaign communications director. Yet, it is part of Kelly’s current brand to stand back and pearl clutch at journalists with agendas. The sanctimony reeks from her eyes, her face, her wherever.
I will not forget it, because CTH was the only voice calling out two days earlier that it was going to happen. I will also not forget it, because Megyn Kelly showed the true nature of her character and then later took the $15 million from Rupert Murdoch (book deal) as payment for the hit job. Unfortunately, people have really short memories – and somehow permit the MeAgain Kellys of the world to pretend they have evolved into a better moral character. The one positive thought about an otherwise repugnant woman, is that she subjected herself to the COVID vaccine.
That said, here’s President Donald Trump giving her his time and attention. WATCH:
.Megyn Kelly is joined by former President Donald Trump to talk about the Biden impeachment inquiry, what we’re learning now about the potential for then-VP Biden corruption that Trump tried to bring up at the debate, whether Biden is too old to be president, birthright citizenship and the immigration crisis in America, why he didn’t fire Dr. Fauci, how Biden and DeSantis handled COVID, the success or failure of Operation Warp Speed and COVID vaccines, not getting enough credit for what did during the beginning of the pandemic, his stance on trans rights and how it’s evolved, his friendship with Caitlyn Jenner (and previously Bruce), trans in the military, whether he’d ban puberty blockers for kids, the details of his classified documents case and the Presidential Records Act, why he didn’t turn over documents after the subpoena, Hillary Clinton and the double standard, if he’s angry about the prosecutions, the real story behind the “DeSanctimonious” Ron DeSantis nickname, why he values loyalty above so much else, how Melania and Barron are doing, the personality traits about Melania that the media doesn’t understand, why he’s running for president and facing jail time instead of enjoying retirement, the way this country can come together, that big debate moment between Trump and Megyn, and more.
Despite the best efforts of Fox News and Rupert Murdoch, their own pollster Daron Shaw duplicates an identical polling outcome from the most recent three. [Poll Data Here]
President Trump is growing his support base, and Ron DeSantis is losing even more ground.
It’s important to keep in mind that Fox News has been desperately trying to prop up the campaign of Ron DeSantis, giving him soft interviews and pushing his infomercials every week. Yet even Rupert Murdoch is now having to admit DeSantis just doesn’t have the support of the base Republican voters.
FOX NEWS – Three weeks after the first Republican presidential primary debate, the latest Fox News survey finds Donald Trump has increased both his lead in the race and his strength of support.
Sixty percent of Republican primary voters back Trump in the primary race, up from 53% in the Fox News pre-debate August survey. […] At 13% support, Ron DeSantis sees a downtick of 3 points since the debate, while Vivek Ramaswamy holds steady at 11%. Next is Nikki Haley with 5%, Mike Pence and Tim Scott at 3% each, and Chris Christie at 2%. All remaining candidates receive 1% or less. (more)
BIG SMILE – The RNC is in a very weak position ahead of the September 27th Fox Business News debate at the Reagan Library. President Trump has already said he will not be in attendance, and the remaining candidates look silly as they prepare for a debate with zero relevance to the voters.
Justice Alito is going to allow the Biden Administration to justify why they should be allowed to control all the content on social media platforms and coordinate with the social media companies to remove opinion & information against their interests. This should be interesting. 😂🤣😂
WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday temporarily blocked a lower court ruling that would place restrictions on the Biden administration’s contact with social media companies.
The brief order issued by conservative Justice Samuel Alito came less than two hours after the Justice Department asked the Supreme Court to step in.
It gives the court more time to consider what next steps to take before deciding whether to grant the administration’s request. In the meantime, the lower court ruling will remain on hold until midnight on Sept. 22.
Three days ago, the DOJ filed a motion in court to quietly drop the charges against former partner of Michael Flynn, Bijan Rafiekian {DOJ pdf Link}. The initial case was created by the Muller team (Weissman) and encompassed the issue of violations to the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA). After one failed attempt at prosecution, the Mueller team turned the case over to the DOJ who were going to refile the charges. {Backstory Here} Instead, as noted, the DOJ recently dropped the case.
Why does this matter?
Hunter Biden worked as a foreign agent for Ukraine and Chinese interests. Hunter Biden never registered under U.S. laws which require foreign agent registration to represent the interests of a foreign government or entity. This is the same accusation that loomed over Bijan Rafiekian. The DOJ dropped the case against Rafiekian, because they will not be charging Hunter Biden for FARA violations. The DOJ does not want you to notice the timing.
Today, a federal grand jury indicted Hunter Biden for federal firearm violations. [4-page pdf HERE] This will be the extent of the criminal charges filed against Hunter Biden. Everything else will be swept under the rug. Biden will receive a soft sentence.
The larger DC narrative will now shift to Second Amendment issues, and the defense will argue the Second Amendment doesn’t disqualify drug users. This will put the discussion on a host of Second Amendment topics, which the Biden administration will then seek to use as they advance the 2024 election narrative, and simultaneously require more rules, laws, restrictions and legislation about firearms.
Washington DC – President Joe Biden’s son is under indictment.
On Thursday, a Delaware grand jury indicted Hunter Biden on three gun-related charges, including illegally owning a firearm as a drug user and lying on a form when he allegedly bought the gun.
President Donald Trump has taken the biggest lead in the most recent Quinnipiac Poll [DATA HERE]. Oddly, the Quinnipiac results are almost identical to another poll taken by Premise polling on Sept 6th [SEE HERE].
At this point the GOPe battle against President Trump looks stunningly futile. Team DeSantis alone has spent near $200 million so far, and he’s lost half the support they had before they spent a dime. lol 👀 Yet, the billionaire classes of multinational donors, Wall St, corporations and other entities with vested financial interests in America-LAST, are continuing to fund the battle against Trump.
Quinnipiac – In the race for the 2024 Republican Party nomination, support for former President Donald Trump now stands at 62 percent among Republican and Republican leaning voters, slightly up from 57 percent support in August, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea-ack) University national poll released today.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis receives 12 percent support, down from 18 percent support in August. In today’s poll, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy receives 6 percent support, former United Nations Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence each receive 5 percent support, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott receives 3 percent support, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie receives 2 percent support. All other listed Republican candidates receive less than 2 percent support. (more)
I try not to cuss much, but I will admit when New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham declared a “public health emergency” then issued a regional gun ban for the Albuquerque area, I was cussing quite a bit. I was cussing because this approach was instantly predictable, as the result of Americans allowing various governors to take control over free-range citizens during COVID-19 by declaring the same “public health emergencies.”
Thankfully, there was a massive backlash from citizens, local law enforcement, state law enforcement and the New Mexico Attorney General’s office. Now, fortunately, a federal judge has stepped in and blocked the unconstitutional gun ban. The blood pressure lowers a bit, but we have got to be on guard for the next test; they won’t quit.
New Mexico – A federal judge on Wednesday temporarily halted a 30-day order from New Mexico’s governor suspending the open and concealed carrying of guns in the Albuquerque area that had sparked bipartisan condemnation.
[…] During the hearing, U.S. District Judge David H. Urias, an appointee of President Joe Biden who took his seat on the bench last year, indicated that the numerous Supreme Court precedents on the Second Amendment suggested that the governor’s order would cause irreparable harm to citizens seeking to exercise their gun rights. Thus, he said, he had to issue a temporary strike of the ban — a move that does not rule on its merits.
Once again, the innuendo and supposition by Ken Paxton accusers runs into reality. Previously Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s personal assistant, Drew Wicker, made an accusation that a Texas donor named Nate Paul funded a kitchen remodel for Paxton. A quid pro quo to sell influence.
However, during cross examination today, Drew Wicker admitted the kitchen remodel never took place, and the actual details of the home remodel being done by Paxton was taking place *after* the office “whistleblowers” went to the FBI with their ungrounded claims. Paxton’s attorney Tony Buzbee showed Drew Wicker pictures of the kitchen taken three years ago and also taken last month. There was never any remodel work completed. This is the central point of the alleged bribery. WATCH:
The prosecutors tried to deny the pictures were correctly dated or real, and then Tony Buzbee says let’s drive over there and look at the kitchen your honor. 😂🤣😂
The baseline of this entire impeachment has become a joke. A bunch of Bush aligned prosecutors, and staff from Texas, manufactured a case of rumor and innuendo against Attorney General Ken Paxton simply because Paxton defeated George P. Bush, their preferred candidate.
