NBC/WSJ Michigan Poll – Donald Trump 41%, Ted Cruz 22%, Marco Rubio 17%…

The bad news is this poll (full pdf below) comes promoted by NBC/WSJ via Mark Murray.  The good news is they purchased the poll from Marist Polling, a more reliable source than prior NBC/WSJ sources (public relations firms).

However, all of that being said, the most recent polling has been substantively wrong when compared to primary election results.

It’s actually a little surprising that John Kasich would not be doing better in Michigan than these results reflect.  The ‘Open’ Primary Election is Tuesday, March 8th and there are 59 Delegates proportionally available in a ‘winner-take-most’ outcome.

Rush Limbaugh and Mitt Romney Appear on Fox News Sunday – Discussion: Slow Usurpation -vs- Fast Track Version…

The progressive media embed who relishes undermining American sovereignty, Chris Wallace, scripted the Sunday conversation with Rush Limbaugh and Mitt Romney. (Two videos below).

In the first segment Wallace discusses the severely fractured Republican party with Rush Limbaugh; who, as always, finds a way to obfuscate, and weave, in and out of intellectual honesty and propaganda – the consummate squish providing just enough evidence to keep the sheeple audience protecting his ridiculous positions.

In the first part of the Limbaugh segment, Rush rightly points out the goal of the GOP party apparatus is always to retain ownership of a small controllable tent.   This is why the GOPe want independent-minded, “common sense” folks to consistently feel marginalized and leave the Republican party.  The GOPe controls their side of the UniParty equation much easier without those pesky unwashed masses disrupting their banquets.

Donald Trump and The U.S. Media…

gop debate ridiculous

I once saw a documentary of the amazon. The barely clothed jungle man looked quite skinny.

The filmmaker gave the man a chicken.  There must have been some prior conversation between them because the skinny guy put the chicken on a string and then dipped it into a river or tributary of some sort.

The water went crazy – like you may have seen in PSA u-tube videos of people dropping a frozen turkey into a deep fryer.

Then, only a few moments later, it all stopped – just like that. (more…)

Dawn, March 6, 1836, Siege of the Alamo – Day 13

By Elvis Chupacabra

“The Siege of The Alamo” by Lajos Markos Reproduced with thanks to the Markos Estate

The old timers said that a dry, chill wind was blowing out of the northwest, right from the heart of the Commancheria, that dawn of March 6, 1836. It ripped the palls of black smoke billowing from the old Alamo mission into ragged tendrils and hurled them away, as if trying to clear the air of the sickly sweet smell of burning flesh and the acrid stench of gunpowder. By the time the sun broke above the horizon and cast a golden light over the old mission-turned-fortress, gunshots still sporadically rent the air, but the main sound was that of an enraged mob. Politics is a Business, a Network of Various Affiliates….

It’s obvious we need to spend a few minutes explaining the business end of modern politics for those who are unaccustomed to the process.

You might know the guy who owns/operates the family Hardware store near you. Or perhaps you are familiar with the generationally owned auto-shop in/around your town. Politics, as a business enterprise, is no different – many families throughout the country are as inherently inside the business as the family who owns the local store.

Additionally, from county to county these families know each other. They see each other, hang out together, meet at various functions and coordinate the various political enterprises that eventually lead up to the state level, and beyond.

In short, they are a network of familiarity, a network of insiders.

They also run the gambit of influence from the Barbour family in Mississippi, to the Prescott/Bush family of Colorado, Texas to Maine.   Tight circles of interconnected acquaintances who meet at various times, and then convention together depending on political season. (more…)
