REPOST – Question: If DHS Is “Surprised” At The Number Of Unaccompanied Minors Crossing The Border, Then Why Were They Looking For A Vendor To Support 65,000 Unaccompanied Minors In January ?…

REPOST – We originally shared this four days ago. However, this previously outlined story was picked up by Megyn Kelly last night:

DHS - ICE - HHS - jobs posting

On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.

Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.

illegal alien 2

• Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?

• Secondly, how could they possibly know anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most unaccompanied minors ever encountered in a previous year was 6,500 total ?

Here’s the bid specifics from [January 29th 2014] emphasis mine:

[…] The Contractor shall provide unarmed escort staff, including management, supervision, manpower, training, certifications, licenses, drug testing, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide on-demand escort services for non-criminal/non-delinquent unaccompanied alien children ages infant to 17 years of age, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year. Transport will be required for either category of UAC or individual juveniles, to include both male and female juveniles. There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.

[…] In addition, the Contractor shall have personnel who are able to communicate with juveniles in their own designated language(s).

I downloaded the entire DHS posting (above) in the event it would mysteriously disappear. You can read all the details for yourself.

It’s enough to make you think we might have (State Dept.) NGO’s in Honduras, Guatemala etc. directing this entire “surprise influx”….

…Nah, this administration would never intentionally orchestrate something so nefarious or troublesome, right?

Right?

I do believe we have people planted in these countries orchestrating the border crossings of all these children. What I haven’t figured out yet is what Obama thinks he is going to accomplish. Future voters for sure but the American people are already really making their voices heard over illegal aliens and amnesty. I am so glad Meagan picked this story up. Wonder if she reads here.

I sent emails out about this when I saw it on Lucianne and American Thinker, linking to SD’s reference here.

Drudge still hasn’t posted it, sent to him Saturday, I think. He may, now that Fox picked it up. I knew CNN and NBC, CBS wouldn’t touch it. All the presidents men, and all that.

Wanted to see if any MSM would toych it. Surprize, surprise, Fox is the only one. Glad it was Megan, her show has a bigger audience than any other, that means a lot of people likely saw it, leading up to the hearings last night.

I think it may be money laundering. Consider tge factctgat it was just recently disclosed that the US is spwnsing 500 million this year in the three involved countries, to support and ‘protect’ these very children.

DHS and ICE run an ad, basically hiring coyotees for pay to escort these kids back to the US. They get paid a fee, either by the government or families, and then, when they get here, Obama says they can’t stay, and deports tgem?

Who, exactly, is keeping that running money? As much as 5-10k each? That’s a LOT of money.

      This.

I wouldn’t be surprised, if like Fast and Furious, Eric Holder or some Obama ordered lackey paid US$ to find exactly 65K children from Mexico to escort to the border and had to go to Central America because not enough Mexican families were willing to give up their chill’un to strangers. Obama participated in child trafficking. This is exactly what he has done.

Children suddenly showing up at the border and abandoned on a grand scale.
ISIS moving rapidly to mullify Iraq, Bagdad, strategic points, key oil fields, the airport and mass scale beheadings in a span of a few weeks.

NONE of these over-the-top sudden events could have happened without the active and covert assistance of the Obama Regime with traitorous funding and access to US intelligence in Iraq. None.

Maybe it was planned so that when Iraq went awry, Americans would be fed up with immigrants and not accept any refugees from the ME because our system is overloaded from south of the border? Of course that would assume the administration knew that Iraq was going to go to hell in a hand basket. Interestingly, Russia is occupied on their border with Ukraine and dealing with NATO forces there at the same time the Iraq/Syria plot thickens. This makes Russia divided between their interest on their border and Syria.

I am starting to believe all of these events are interrelated. Iraq is looking like it is going to be a slaughter house with a mass of refugees needing someplace to go.

I wonder how they arrived at a figure of 65,000? Was this something that was “reverse engineered” as the result of a cost study? Did someone originally ask “How many are we able to handle,, in terms of facilities, manpower and money before the system totally collapses?”

An unaccompanied child has to be the most expensive type of illegal for us to deal with, compared to adults who could be jailed or (more quickly) deported. What kind of legal repercussions follow when a minor dies in our custody, or dies because our agencies fail to provide for them? Is this a dilemma that is being intentionally forced upon our Border Patrol agents by an organization? WHO is behind it?

Do we need to “plant” a number of dwarfs disguised as children in the countries of origin, just to uncover the mechanics of this network? (OK, just kidding about the “dwarf” thing but, seriously, how can this be investigated from the inside?)

I think we need to get the black community fired up about this – they will be the most impacted. Black youth unemployment 45%; 80% of illegal kids male, 83(?)% over 14. Right when the noise was getting louder for a minimum wage increase, there is an illegal “surge” and amnesty talk heats up. Resources diverted in communities – schools, health care, police, – will impact this community disproportionately. The clips shown of communities protesting the dumping of illegals had so many African American’s in audience and speaking – yet media covers it like redneck whites don’t want Hispanics in their back yards.

We need an aggressive effort to get local black activists motivated! (Congressmen, and black political figureheads – Democrat DINOs – don’t care – they live in gated communities and their kids/grandkids are in private school…Maybe when Charles Rangel loses to an Hispanic candidate) How do we do this?? Who do we know that can get to the frustrated, black, community activists?

We’re on the same page w/ this, Tampamom. I’ve been wondering much the same thing–how to best express to black voters that illegals are far more their rivals, as opposed to both being communities that are “oppressed, and treated unfairly”. Illegals CHOSE to come here, most blacks did not. My first thought was to venture into a conversation w/ an old friend who is now a tenured professor at Princeton (she is black). Well, THAT went over like a lead balloon–I probably should have known better! But I do think it is an idea that has merit. I’m now a HUGE Sundance fan, so if he reads this, would LOVE to hear his views on this. Guess we could try taking a page out of Obama’s “How to Divide Communities & Cause Resentment/ Antagonism”, but that feels so ugly. Anyone? Bueller??

The most imminent threat this “invasion” poses are the diseases being carried into this country by the illegals. Many American medical authorities are now warning that we could face a public health crisis of monumental proportions should these diseases spread to our communities. Diseases active in the countries these illegals come from include: dengue fever, chicken pox, scabies, drug resistant TB, changa, MRSA, hepatitis, whooping cough and leprosy. Was the potential for a public health crisis part of the Obama plan when they conjured up this invasion? No doubt in my mind. Would the public’s reaction to the waves of illegals invading our country have been different if they were adults instead of children? I’m sure it would. So they have effectively combined a public health menace with the use of children to carry it. The perfect plan.

You are absolutely right–this is a HUGE aspect of this ludicrous, never-shoulda-happened nightmare. I also think it may be the ONLY part of the mess that the lo-info’s may care about. Not quite sure how to broadcast how VERY dangerous some of these diseases can be (especially to other children, who may end up in the same day-cares/ schools/ playgroups), other than word-of-mouth, but I’m trying. I’d also heard that measles could possibly be added to the list. Sadly, I’m afraid it may take something like the deaths of some American children from any of these diseases to get the MSM to focus on it, and rouse the lo-fo’s ire. This whole shebang is so stupid and previously preventable that it seems unreal. But UGH, we better believe it, and “run tell dat”, whether we’ll be called heartless, racist, or whatever the conversation-stopper du jour is.

If I understand the situation correctly, the vast majority of this [del]wave[/del] tsunami of approximately 50,000 illegal immigrants are 16 and 17 year old males (at least they claim to be, some of the pics I’ve seen many look far older?)… and the few interviews I’ve read with some of these young men seem to indicate that many were involved in the drug trade in their home countries.

Initially, I thought this sudden massive influx was an attempt to set up a drug distribution network here in the U.S., but to find out now that the U.S. government was seemingly aware of the impending influx… I don’t know what to think?

All I know is that there is no way in Hades that tens of thousands of young men simultaneously came up with $6,000-$7,000 each for passage into the U.S., a journey that would include crossing an entire country undetected, without it being some kind of concerted effort to get them here. The only question is why?

The claim that family are poverty-stricken is nonsense, I agree. Funds to traffick them to the US came indirectly from tax payer money much like Operation Obama Fingerprint.

Or, those services when given “gratis”, or the expenses were paid by by cartels who wanted to overwhelm the Border Patrol and ICE, which makes it a great deal easier for “mules” to cross the border with drugs, and for “coyotes” to guide high paying, high-profile “customers” (well financed terrorists) across the border.

These “children” might actually be what they appear to be: Destitute “hopefuls” looking for opportunity. But that doesn’t mean they weren’t rounded up for exportation by a group, or groups, that wanted to use them for “camouflage” for more nefarious purposes. There’s a LOT of drug money and terrorist controlled petrodollars out there, and little reason to believe that the “coyotes” have any scruples about who pays them, just as long as they DO get paid.

Egad! We paid for 9000 additional border agents since 2000; we’re advertising for an additional people to escort 65,000 children. Beyond these, over 250 children are coming over the Texas border alone per day with 160,000 total illegals in the last 8 months. We equipped an additional 3000 new beds at present centers, made space at 3 military bases and are building two processing centers with additional beds; Obama asks for $1.4 billion more to covered illegals while our debt level soars and we don’t have jobs for our own, much less the ones that are going to need jobs to survive; this does not begin to cover foster homes to care for youngsters, clothing, food, education and healthcare. Over 36,000 illegal felons have been released on the streets, straining law enforcement across the nation.

Nothing has changed dramatically in Central America and Mexico, in fact Mexico is doing well economically and the gang wars are on our borders or in very specific states. Our policy has changed in that we are not enforcing our laws. And Obama’s going to go eat donuts with a lady in Minneapolls.
