The Affluenza UniParty – DC Chattering Class Disconnected From National Sense…

You know how severely the echo-chamber in Washington DC is insulated when even Steve Schmidt-for-brains can see the pending tsunami and yet describe how the professional political class just don’t get it.

The smug, disconnected, pontificating Ryan-Pelosi-McConnell-Reid rulers just can’t bring themselves to look out the window, toward the horizon, and accept the heated caldrons of tar and feathers being assembled.  They are so certain of their own entitlements, they keep themselves surrounded by sycophantic deniers ensure they will never have to accept the unacceptable.

Rick Perry Super-PACs Begin Issuing Refunds…

Candidate Rick Perry Super-PACs collected over $17 million; the campaign itself raised less than $2 million.  With Perry dropping out, Super-PAC head Austin Barbour and the finance chair Brint Ryan are now issuing refunds.

Rick Perry 3TEXAS – A group of super PACs backing former Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s now-defunct presidential bid has refunded to donors most of the millions of dollars they collected, the groups’ finance chairman said.
“We’re still settling up with a few vendors … but we had a pretty good estimate of what those were so we were able to hold back a little bit of the reserve and refund the rest,” Brint Ryan, the super PACs’ finance chairman who runs a Dallas-based tax services company, told the Center for Public Integrity.
The pro-Perry super PACs, all named variations on Opportunity and Freedom PAC, are legally allowed to accept unlimited contributions.
They collectively reported raising $12.8 million during the first half of the year. Austin Barbour, the senior adviser, said they had received another $4 million contribution from a single donor after the reporting deadline, bringing the total to nearly $17 million. (more…)

Tripwire Crossed – Rick Perry Exits Race, Who's Next? – Media Continues Baiting Candidates…

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has suspended his presidential bid:

It is impossible not to notice a coordinated GOPe strategy even amid the predictable exit of GOPe splitter Rick Perry from the race.  Perry’s primary value was essentially most noteworthy in South Carolina and his home state of Texas. (more…)

Rick Perry Political Super-PACs Pushing Legal Campaign Envelopes – Now Taking Over "Get Out The Vote" Operations…

Honest question:

If a candidate registers his or her name for ballot placement, and then does nothing for the entirety of the campaign (literally stays home and does nothing), and the Super-PAC funded organizers run every single aspect of the campaign – without any contact with the candidate – is it legal under current campaign finance laws?

perry smarty glassesIn theory, and, well, quite unbelievably, it sounds like it is perfectly legal.  However, beyond theory, in practice, we are about to find out thanks to Rick Perry.
Rick Perry has dispatched all of his official campaign constructs in Iowa with the exception of one paid campaign worker:

[Via USA Today] Presidential candidate Rick Perry now has just one paid staffer left on his Iowa team but plans to continue seeking Iowans’ votes for the GOP caucuses, aides told The Des Moines Register on Monday morning.

The GOPe Tripwires Continue – Despite Campaign Trouble Rick Perry Must Be Kept In The Race…

Another predictable tripwire triggered TODAY.   Back in the spring of 2014, when we first discovered the GOPe roadmap for 2016, there were essential elements in the financial constructs of Jeb’s hope for success.
perry smarty glassesOne of those constructs was the necessary use of Super-PAC’s to avoid the pitfalls of electoral support withdrawal from candidates who were important to the overall objectives.
In essence, regardless of electoral support, specific candidates would need to be kept in the race beyond their traditional ability to do so.  The Super-PAC’s would be the guarantors of the retention.
Former Governor Rick Perry was, and is still, part of that original construct.  We shared yesterday it would be too risky for the GOPe roadmap to rely on a Texas electoral splitter who was not part of the team strategy, ie. Ted Cruz. (more…)

New National Poll Shows Trump Dominating – One Week Prior To First GOP Debate… (Full Poll Data Included)

With 20 percent of Republican voters, Donald Trump is the clear leader in the crowded Republican presidential primary field, but he trails any of three leading Democratic contenders by wide margins in general election matchups, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today. POLL DATA

This national poll data, in combination with the Florida poll data released yesterday, reflects a devastating reality for the GOPe professional political class and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the GOPe financiers.

While there is still a long way to go, the strategic plans of the white wine spritzer and crust-less sandwich crowd are being compromised by Donald Trump and his coalition of supporters who are rebuking traditional candidates.

Donald Trump is Headed To Texas/Mexico Border – Governor Rick Perry is Panicked and Apoplectic…

Donald Trump announces he has been invited by the Border Patrol in Texas to visit the border region. Immediately former Texas governor, and U.S. presidential candidate, Rick Perry erupts in fury against Trump. Disconnected? Of course not.

perry smarty glassesTrump banner 2

Rick Perry is a one percent polling presidential candidate who has surged to a whopping 3% by added the optic of nerdy smart glasses to his presidential candidacy in a transparent effort to improve public opinion of his intellect; but his Achilles heel is, and will always be, illegal immigration.

Donald Trump has exposed the weakness within the GOP on the subject of immigration, illegal aliens and border security. Despite his protestation to the contrary, Rick Perry did little to change the Texas/Mexico lawless border; and, as evidenced by his own Texas crime statistics, had over 600,000 violent, felonious alien criminal arrests in just the last three years while he was governor.

Perry knows the appearance of Trump in his home turf, talking about the illegal alien problem, and promising to build a border wall as president, has all the potential makings of the last nail in the Perry-as-candidate coffin. Rick Perry doesn’t believe a wall or fence will work – because Rick Perry doesn’t believe that buckets can hold water. (more…)

Why Donald Trump’s Polling Is Scaring The Hell Out of The Professional Political Class…

We’ve explained the underlying problem of why the GOP hates their own base – and why they will never do anything to stop the progressive agenda.  The GOP are committed to #1) ObamaCare remaining; #2) Comprehensive Immigration Reform to include Amnesty; and #3) Common Core Education Standards.  We’ve also explained why admitting that factual reality is just a matter of following the facts where they lead.

When you admit the problem, and finally agree to stop being a co-dependent in your own diminishment, you join a growing coalition of supporters for a candidate outside the professional political class, the establishment GOP.

Donald Trump presidential race

Here’s why the Donald Trump polling is creating such apoplectic fits amid the “establishment”; and it’s not just that Trump is now leading in every regional and national poll.  It’s something more…

In almost every poll, Trump is winning the overall GOP race despite half of the poll sample not believing he is really serious about his presidential bid.

Pause for a moment and think carefully about what that means. (more…)

Sean Hannity Showcases Governor Rick Perry Marginalizing Himself VS Donald Trump…

There are a few select moments in broadcast TV when the production content highlights a very distinct reality – and simultaneously informs the viewership on the absurd construct of political dynamics.  Last night Sean Hannity did just that.

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has been blasting 2016 GOP candidate Donald Trump over Trump’s remarks about illegal alien criminals.   Perry’s criticism has aided the liberal media’s efforts to isolate, ridicule and marginalize Trump.

However, using Rick Perry’s own Texas border reality, and showing the criminal statistics inherent from Perry’s own team, Hannity shows how Donald Trump is right, and Perry is just playing politics.  It was one of the best constructed segments Hannity has ever broadcast.

The segment begins at 03:35 and runs through 08:12.  The most substantial moment comes at 05:35.  Watch:

Texas Alone: (2008 through 2014) 642,000+ criminal convictions; 8,000+ sexual assaults; all from illegal alien criminals.  Game, Set, Match – Donald Trump was right!

And To Think, They Didn't Need To Buy Soccer Balls or Teddy Bears…

Apparently several websites are all a twitter about recent immigration fraud details released by Judicial Watch.

Taxpayer funds covered free laptops, big screen TVs, $75 per child per day for food, pregnancy tests, and “multicultural crayons”  […] Judicial Watch announced today that on September 9, 2014, it received documents from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) revealing that the Obama administration paid Baptist Children and Family Services (BCFS) $182,129,786 to provide “basic shelter care” to 2,400 “unaccompanied alien children” (UAC) for four months in 2014. The BCFS budget included charges for $104,215,608 for UACs at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and an additional $77,914,178 for UACs at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. (more)
