Marjorie Taylor Green and Thomas Massive together brought a motion to the House floor to remove Speaker Mike Johnson from office. However, a considerable number of Democrats joined Republicans in a 359-43 vote to table the motion and protect Johnson’s speakership.
Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) aligned with MTG and Massie. Eight Republicans including Andy Biggs, Chip Roy, Eric Burlison (R-Mo.), Eli Crane (R-Ariz.), Warren Davidson (R-Ohio), Alex Mooney (R-W.Va.), Barry Moore (R-Ala.) and Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) all voted to remove Johnson and create an unknown outcome, perhaps even a Democrat speakership.

I do not see any way this effort to remove Mike Johnson would benefit candidate Donald Trump, the MAGA movement, or the semi-supportive/passive-aggressive Republican Party that genuine MAGA has to contend with.
It also seems strange that many Democrats did not relish supporting the stupid effort and making a mess out of Congress in an election year. Factually, the only beneficiaries of this chaos scenario, a scenario that could have resulted in legislation to block Trump from office, would be Democrats and perhaps Ron DeSantis or RFK Jr. {BACKGROUND}

The late, great Andrew Breitbart once proclaimed that politics is downstream of culture. Thus, politics is at the end of the stream where all the sewage goes. Everything today has become political. If one travels upstream, culture is organized into the so-called cultural mountains of arts/entertainment, media, government, business, education, religion and family.
These mountains are downstream of worldview which if one does a quick analysis, these mountains are primarily secular with religion and those subsets of family who live by faith are the only exclusions.
Worldview is then downstream of the individual heart–what do you believe? It is here where our failure lies–the human heart when left to its own devices is desperately wicked and deceitful beyond measure. Who can understand it? Every person has a cornerstone–that which is most valuable to them. Instead of God or Christ as one’s cornerstone, we have too many people in leadership positions who have placed themselves in first position. Anyone can go look at how their Rep voted on each issue instead of a single bill that included everything.
Remember, if Johnson had not pulled that off, the Senate bill, far worse, would have been passed under discharge rules.

Johnson only got the “best deal” if you think they had to get a deal. There was nothing wrong with leaving a logjam. It worked for a couple months. Johnson got nothing for the border. Nothing. Astute point. When they were in control, they were getting push from their base, to repeal the fillibuster rule, so they could push thru all of what is percieved to be the leftist agenda.
This would have exposed them, by taking away any excuse for NOT.
So, they put up legislation to rescind the fillibuster rule, and at the same time a $700 billion omnibus spending bill.
Then Manchin and Synema channelled Collins/Murcowski and voted (as instructed by leadership) against both bills, muddying the water as to why.
1-2 months later the spending bill was ressurected with a few changes (nobody noticed they never brought up the rescind the fillibuster, again!) and the spending bill passed.
Reality is the Uniparty leadership relies on the odious Fillibuster rule, to maintain the illusion, and control.
So, the country bankrupt importing an army to kill rape steal and (no one) (no one) doing anything about it! Having another spinless sellout as RinocratRat leadership in the House ( look at the smug face on that Rat), how is that good for Trump, How is that so?
If you have not noticed, we have DemonRat leadership in the House. Calling it the Uniparty is saying there are NO Conservative Republicans in the House or Senate at this time! Congress is run by the Tyrannical force of the Oligarchy.

Both Bannon and Charlie Kirk appear to support MTG. Kirk raised the salient point that Hakeem Jeffries most certainly exacted a price in his support of Johnson. If he wasn’t before, Speaker Johnson now is undoubtedly compromised.

I’m not in MTG or Massie’s districts however when I vote for someone I don’t expect them to win all the time but I do expect them to fight. Johnson has broken every promise he has made, most of all on closing the border before any money is approved. He has give Biden everything he’s asked for and the border is still wide open. I know you have to be more strategic when voting on replacing the Speaker but sometimes you have to call the baby ugly.
I listened to MTG present all the reasons for removing Mike Johnson. They are quite compelling and I appreciate her putting them out there in summary. God knows we would not hear this summary from Fox News or any other “conservative media” outlet. That said, I’m with PDJT removing Johnson now is not prudent. But I am open to another time after the election.
I think it’s very clear that Johnson is not the Speaker MAGA or Conservatives need to push the Trump agenda forward. He has shown that his principles are not solid and he’s simply naive on the issues and skills that are critical for saving America.

My two cents (for what it’s worth) is this…
This event is proof that things are so out of control and so close to a collapse at the Federal level that the entire Uniparty is just flailing about trying to keep their heads above water.
My feeling is that two different plans by different wings ran aground today… one seeking to give the Dems control so President Trump could be legislated off the November ballots… and another seeking to tie the the Republicans to the inevitable economic crash later this year by keeping them in charge of the purse… and one side or the other lost the memo.
Remember; Donald Trump was long ago supposed to have been knocked out and a controlled GOPe-in-MAGA-clothing type (see DeSantis) to replace Biden (a disposable one-term weapon for inflicting as much damage as possible) with the illusion for the masses that elections still worked and the rule of law was still mostly intact.
Just the indictments and FBI would have tanked anyone else. Any other Republican would have folded their Presidential bid right there and cut a deal. But President Trump didn’t. He fought back, his support increased, he locked up the nomination virtually overnight, and now all the cases are falling apart and are looking ever more nakedly political even to those not especially paying attention.
Throw into that mix that Plan B (to have Biden step aside) has also blow up in their faces because Team Biden doesn’t want to step aside, all their other potential candidates self-immolated, and their insane base won’t let them skip over Kamala (who is even LESS popular) because she’s a black woman and they’re literally stuck with Biden.

20-20 hindsight is a wonderful thing. I was all in favor of the McCarthy removal. Looking back, however, I can now see it was nothing more than the Republican wing of the Uni-Party emotionally sating their base. Passage in the Senate would happen and Biden sign it into law. And it was stated there are several Uniparty Rinos considering quiting early.
Which either brings us to the point of submission or revolution…..the only final resolution choices – period!

There’s too many factors in play to not go on offense against the uniparty. Trump has to win the election. They stole it once and aren’t about to let DJT take it back, so how secure are you in a fair election? Me-I’m about 10% confident that enough has been done to fix the fraud from 2020. We could end up in WWIII before the election and that could suspend the election. DJT could win the election but lose the house and senate, so that negates him winning the election.
