The House Managers and President Trump defense team have presented their case and defense of impeachment.  Closing arguments are complete.  Today the Senate will finish floor speeches under regular quorum and then re-enter impeachment trial for 4pm vote.
The regular floor speeches are pure partisan politics. Each of the remaining senators is allowed ten minutes for remarks today prior to the impeachment vote at 4:00pm.

• Wednesday: 9:30am Floor speeches resume (regular senate rules). At 4:00pm the Senate re-enters trial phase to vote on two articles of impeachment.

Rush Limbaugh is going to attempt to broadcast tomorrow (Thursday).  I would strongly urge all those who have listened and learned from El Rushbo to tune in.  Given the rapid nature of the cancer diagnosis our time with Rush is short. As a beacon when needed most, Rush Limbaugh has guided minds, inspired hearts and touched the lives of many.
Last night President Trump honored Mr. Limbaugh for his years of excellence in broadcasting, his unwavering love of country and his numerous charitable efforts.  Presenting Mr. Limbaugh with the Medal of Freedom was a very special moment in recognition of a very special man.

In a clear sign of desperation; as President Trump approval numbers jump significantly while the impeachment effort fails; and seeming to accept that Democrat 2020 ambitions are evaporating in front of her eyes; Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tears up the printed copy of President Trump’s State of the Union remarks at the conclusion of the speech.

Quite a remarkable display of pettiness and partisan hate. Meanwhile, it creates a strong contrast as President Trump presents an optimistic outlook for a bright future…
This loser stunt by Pelosi is such an act of desperation it looks ridiculous.  Trump Winning easily.

[White House] – Madam Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, the First Lady of the United States, and my fellow citizens:
Three years ago, we launched the great American comeback. Tonight, I stand before you to share the incredible results. Jobs are booming, incomes are soaring, poverty is plummeting, crime is falling, confidence is surging, and our country is thriving and highly respected again! America’s enemies are on the run, America’s fortunes are on the rise, and America’s future is blazing bright.

The years of economic decay are over. The days of our country being used, taken advantage of, and even scorned by other nations are long behind us. Gone too are the broken promises, jobless recoveries, tired platitudes, and constant excuses for the depletion of American wealth, power, and prestige.

Democrat political strategist James Carville appears on MSNBC and plays the roll of Toto pulling back the curtain on a false media-constructed narrative.
Carville notes this was supposed to be a year of hyped democrat voter enthusiasm, but it just isn’t there.  Additionally, Carville asks what the heck happened to the polling over the past two weeks?  Biden was supposed to be a top-tier candidate… or something.

Earlier today the White House announced special attendees for tonight’s State of the Union address as guests of the President.  The annual SoU address will take place at 9:10pm ET tonight and will be carried live on all networks.

From brave military families to hardworking local leaders, this year’s guests come from many walks of life. Each one represents the very best of America and people the world over.

♦ Stephanie and Janiyah Davis from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Janiyah is a 4th grade student from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She loves art and math, but for too long she has been assigned to low-performing schools. Her mom, Stephanie, is a hardworking single mother who tried to apply for a tax credit scholarship. But due to Pennsylvania’s governor recently vetoing school choice legislation, Janiyah remained among the estimated 50,000 students on a waitlist.

Earlier today Senator Rand Paul delivered his remarks on impeachment from the Senate floor.  During his remarks Senator Paul highlighted the real and present danger of allowing agents within government to plot against a sitting president.
Senator Paul asks the same question he presented to Chief Justice John Roberts as the presiding officer of the Senate trial.  A question Roberts refused to ask:

“Are you aware that House intelligence committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella while at the National Security Council together; and are you aware -and how do you respond to- reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal house impeachment proceedings?“

This phase is pure partisan politics. Each of the remaining 100 senators is allowed ten minutes for remarks today prior to the impeachment vote at 4:00pm Wednesday.

• Tuesday: 9:30am full day of floor speeches.  Each Senator limited to ten minutes.
• Wednesday: 4:00pm – A final vote on the articles of impeachment.

President Trump’s 2020 Campaign Manager Brad Parscale along with the Trump family, Eric, Lara and Don Jr, hold a press conference in Iowa to kick off the 2020 primary campaign season.
Mr. Parscale explains the campaign is using Iowa 2020 as a testing ground for the operational aspects to the grassroots campaign structure that has been assembled.
