The legacy of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is a legacy of abject shame. Today the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to send the issue of a citizenship question on the 2020 Census back to the Commerce Department.   The justices did not decide the question was unconstitutional, quite the opposite, they indicated the question was entirely up to the Dept. of Commerce, but disputed the motive behind the Commerce dept. position.

The court holds that addition of question about citizenship to 2020 census does not violate Constitution’s enumerations clause or the Census Act, but that district court was warranted in remanding case to Department of Commerce to provide a non-pretextual explanation for adding the question.
The majority of the Court, with Roberts concurring, punted the issue back to Commerce by noting esoteric concerns about the motives behind the administrative procedure for adding the question.  In essence, Secretary Wilbur Ross can add the question, but his current motive for adding the question was rebuked.  Yes, this is ridiculous.  Hence, the punt.

Oh, he’s done it again… President Trump spotlights the truth that everyone prefers to  avoid discussing: “Are the Drug Lords, Cartels & Coyotes really running Mexico?”

Everyone knows the truthful answer to that question is a resounding YES, Mexico is a narco-state controlled by drug cartels and political system of bribes and payoffs therein.
The most recent evidence was in testimony within the El Chapo Guzman trial, where witnesses testified to paying-off government officials, including the former President of Mexico:

Political “space to destroy” leadership, particularly mayors in Baltimore Maryland, have an inherent disposition toward transparently corrupt behavior.  Remember Sheila Dixon in ’08, or Stephanie Rawlings Blake in ’15… It’s a perpetual cycle. I digress…
Into the recent corrupt landscape comes current Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, who takes bribes and graft through a pay-to-play bribery scandal for books she “authored” called “Healthy Holly”.  Want a city contract?…. buy some books, easy peasy.

Today the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts indicted District Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph and court officer Wesley MacGregor for obstruction of justice and criminal conspiracy in their efforts to assist criminal illegal aliens escape capture by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  [Media Report Here]
Both the judge and the court officer are charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of a federal proceeding.

BOSTON – A Massachusetts District Court Judge and Trial Court Officer were indicted today in federal court in Boston on obstruction of justice charges for preventing an ICE Officer from taking custody of an alien defendant.
Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, 51, of Natick, who was appointed as a Massachusetts District Court Judge in November 2017, and Wesley MacGregor, 56, of Watertown, a former Trial Court Officer since 1993, were indicted on one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and two counts of obstruction of justice – aiding and abetting. MacGregor was also charged with one count of perjury.

Yesterday Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau banished former Ministers Jody Wilson-Raybould (statement here) and Jane Philpott (statement here) from the Liberal Caucus, for non-compliant behavior. Both women exposed how Trudeau demanded the Attorney General drop a criminal prosecution to serve his political interests.
Today Ms. Raybould and Ms. Philpott responded to the heavy handed tactics during a press conference.  The former Attorney General stated: “I knew something very dangerous and wrong was going to happen.”  Canada is FUBAR.

Well this is buckets of interesting.  Last year CTH anticipated Bloomberg would be one of the Club insiders positioned to take lead in the 2020 Club primary.  However, as time progressed Club board members seemed to shift Bloomberg aside in favor of Joe Biden. A proactive Rupert Murdoch hired Biden’s former chief-of-staff in preparation.
Unfortunately for the Club’s board, Biden is failing to launch.  The free range Moonbat coalition, aka the unsuspecting astroturf, are turning out to be more challenging to herd than the board anticipated. Their plot against installing Biden may succeed. This opens the club to reconsider Bloomberg’s prior presentation….

New York – Mike Bloomberg may still consider a run for the White House — particularly if touchy-feely Joe Biden decides to stay out of the race, according to a report.

Forced into an unfamiliar squabble, Furrowed Brow takes the uncomfortable role of Monitor, as Lucy outlines Joe’s creepy behavior.  “He touched me” Lucy says, as Furrowed Brow listens intently; yearning internally for someone, anyone, to rescue him from this… this… new progressiveness.
No-one has ever organized the playground prefects to challenge Joe’s senior stewardship over the monkey-bars.  So many new things to consider… So well organized… Quick, pour Grandma Pelosi a drink!

Whoopsie, Chicago State Attorney corruption is going into ludicrous mode.  According to an interview with ABC7, Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx is now claiming all the activity to seal evidence in the Jussie Smolett case was done “inadvertently”.
Yeah, yeah…. that’s the ticket.  The keyboards and computers self-activated and typed up the motion to the Judge, and then convinced the clerk of courts to accept the motion filing all just accidental and stuff… or something.  Nothing to see here, Russians! Gottabe…
