Today President Donald Trump announced Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster as his new national security adviser, to replace General Flynn. McMaster’s Chief of Staff will be General Keith Kellogg.
Specifically through the use of a lame-duck executive order, President Obama authorized multiple intelligence agencies to have access to Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) including phone call intercepts.
(Via ACLJ) […] First, as the New York Times reported earlier this week, in its final days, the Obama Administration expanded the power of the National Security Agency (NSA) to share globally intercepted personal communication with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying any privacy protections.
The new rules were issued under section 2.3 of Executive Order 12333 after approval by two Obama Administration officials: Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Director of National Intelligence Director, James Clapper.
STORY HERE[…] Normally intercepts of U.S. officials and citizens are some of the most tightly held government secrets. This is for good reason. Selectively disclosing details of private conversations monitored by the FBI or NSA gives the permanent state the power to destroy reputations from the cloak of anonymity. This is what police states do.
President Obama previously requested Snowden’s return, Russia said no. Obama was angry. Now that President Obama is out of office Russia wants to give Snowden back, and President Trump has never even asked for him. Apparently, Snowden has worn out his welcome.
(Via NBC News) U.S. intelligence has collected information that Russia is considering turning over Edward Snowden as a “gift” to President Donald Trump — who has called the NSA leaker a “spy” and a “traitor” who deserves to be executed.
That’s according to a senior U.S. official who has analyzed a series of highly sensitive intelligence reports detailing Russian deliberations and who says a Snowden handover is one of various ploys to “curry favor” with Trump. A second source in the intelligence community confirms the intelligence about the Russian conversations and notes it has been gathered since the inauguration.

While it might be disconcerting for some, and Glenn Greenwald is not a political ally, we hold no reservations about exposing the UniParty’s connections to Deep State constructs whenever it surfaces.
Fox host Tucker Carlson invites The Intercept’s Glen Greenwald to discuss why the intelligence agencies appear to be in conflict with President Elect Donald Trump. Glenn Greenwald breaks down how the recently leaked 35-page-dossier could have only been injected into the media narrative from one of the intel agencies at odds with, and at risk from, President Trump. WATCH:
Much like the “2015/2016 GOPe Splitter Strategy”, the 2017 Intelligence Community “Shadow War” ends with an epic Donald Trump victory…. here’s the full monty.

After closely watching the planning and forethought after Trump announced his candidacy. We stated in September 2015:
[…] Donald Trump, a serious student of the entire decades long game, is waging a 360° war against the entire DC apparatus, on every single level of its construct. And yes, that also means the monolithic media empire which facilitates all of the aforementioned usurpations.
Donald Trump is campaigning against EVERY ADVERSE INTEREST to the U.S.A. This is the essential underpinning of the “Make America Great Again” campaign.

♦ NBC: “A senior U.S. intelligence official with direct knowledge confirmed to NBC News that the report on Russian hacking delivered to President Obama Thursday says that U.S. intelligence picked up senior Russian officials celebrating Donald Trump’s win.

The Office of the Director for National Intelligence (ODNI), James Clapper’s current position, is arguably nothing more than a centralized office of bureaucratic political intelligence. The position was a recommendation of the 911 report in an effort to find a central hub for all intelligence gathering and sharing.
However, as the years have progressed, the office itself has shown to bear out little substantive value and has widely become a political filter for the executive branch to feed information, or disinformation, to the public. Some Democrats and Republican voices have quietly discussed removing the position due to redundancy….

Once this insufferable intelligence narrative drops from the media headlines, perhaps former Indiana Senator Dan Coats is the perfect guy to do the dis-assembly. Low-key, no-waves, Coats will glide through senatorial confirmation.

For the past several days we have been discussing the Deep State shadow war within the various intelligence agencies. The larger issues have been building for a long time.
CIA Director John Brennan and DNI head James Clapper, both took politicization of intelligence to new levels to accommodate the White House. It is not accidental that both of these names are the primary voices behind the “Russian Hacking Conspiracy“.

Those who have followed the intelligence storyline might find the comments last night (video below) by CNN contributor and former CIA official, Bob Baer, very interesting. Ideologically and politically Baer is not a Trump supporter:
…”Donald Trump is right, it [CIA] needs to be completely reorganized and get it away from politics. And if it turns out that this whole Russian hacking thing is based on politics there should be a serious criminal investigation of some sort”…
… “And Trump is absolutely right in 2003/2002 with the national intelligence estimate the CIA let everybody down by putting a lot of trash in it, uh, under political pressure, and it’s time to correct that”… ~Bob Baer, CNN
