Jorge Ramos is an ideological moonbat:
Charles Krauthammer and George Will continue to showcase their insane alignment with the DC Machine writ large. You might think of them as pundits, until you realize their punditry is expressed alignment with the policy positions of: John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, Rick Perry, Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, George Pataki and Jim Gilmore.
Laura Ingraham scratches the surface on the “anchor baby” issue, but more directly frames the discussion around the larger picture of failed immigration enforcement which has led to the crisis.
We are in this ridiculous place because the ‘Beltway Betters‘ have failed to enforce existing law, failed to secure the border, failed to secure employment law and lied to the American people about their intents therein.
First Krauthammer:
Given the history of current immigration policy a reader is left to ponder if any of the perpetrators identified within this horrific story are “dreamers” or part of the Unaccompanied Alien Children program. We will probably never find out…
Miami – Three Homestead Job Corps students have confessed to a plot to lure a teen to the woods, where he was repeatedly hacked with a machete and forced into a shallow grave as he lay mortally wounded, police revealed on Wednesday.

The sickening details were included in an arrest report for a fourth student, Desiray Strickland, 18, who was detained on Wednesday and charged with her alleged role in the savage June murder of 17-year-old Jose Amaya Guardado. (more…)
Via Thomas Lifson at American Thinker – Donald Trump has laid out the bare bones of a deportation plan that has an excellent chance of working well. The caricatures presented by his critics overlook the clever incentives he apparently is building into it.
The reaction has been as negative as the reaction to his initial contention, when he announced his candidacy, that rapists and criminals are streaming across the border. That was twisted into a false claim that he was thus characterizing all people coming across the border, earning him accusations of racism and worse. Yet the string of disgusting crimes at the hands of illegals, who would have been deported but for sanctuary city policies, has made his point, and the surge in his popularity has shown that demonization by media and political elites has backfired.
Something quite similar may well happen with his deportation proposal. (read more)
Of course President Obama will never begin charging Mexicans an entry fee; and against the backdrop of Donald Trump’s righteous position on immigration, nor will anyone point out the hypocrisy within this statement:
“This is about putting our house in order,” said Rodulfo Figueroa, Mexico’s top immigration official in Baja California state, which includes Tijuana.
SAN DIEGO (AP) — Walking into Mexico at the nation’s busiest border crossing with the United States is no longer an uninterrupted stroll for foreigners.
Pedestrians going to Tijuana from San Diego at the San Ysidro crossing must choose between a line for Mexicans who get walk through unchecked, and a line for foreigners who must show a passport, fill out a form and – if staying more than a week – pay 322 pesos, or roughly $20, for a six-month permit. The insufferable left use the same playbook to attack and deflect their opposition. Previously the cultural marxists demanded the term “illegal alien” was removed from the vocabulary of their opponents. Today they take a similar approach toward the term “anchor babies”…
Yesterday Donald Trump responded when confronted by a reporter who had obviously received the Media Matters bulletin. Epic Trump:
Steyn discusses the insufferable nonsense of Republicans claiming that Donald Trump’s border security and immigration proposal is “not workable”. Gives examples to deconstruct the nonsense. Video prompted to @1:15 (Good Watch)

On Page #3 the plan outlines:
Triple the number of ICE officers.
As the President of the ICE Officers’ Council explained in Congressional testimony: “Only approximately 5,000 officers and agents within ICE perform the lion’s share of ICE’s immigration mission…Compare that to the Los Angeles Police Department at approximately 10,000 officers. Approximately 5,000 officers in ICE cover 50 states, Puerto Rico and Guam, and are attempting to enforce immigration law against 11 million illegal aliens already in the interior of the United States. Since 9-11, the U.S. Border Patrol has tripled in size, while ICE’s immigration enforcement arm, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), has remained at relatively the same size.” This will be funded by accepting the recommendation of the Inspector General for Tax Administration and eliminating tax credit payments to illegal immigrants. Putting aside the IG tax credit payment funding mechanism for a moment; a recent study by the Border Patrol (DHS) Inspector General, the issue of wasted money on the Border Drone program was highlighted. (more…)
