Earlier today Democrat Senator Harry Reid (NV) announced his intentions not to seek re-election in 2016. Moments later Harry Reid announced his preferred selection for his replacement within Senate leadership, Chuck Schumer (NY).

WASHINGTON DC – Harry Reid endorsed Chuck Schumer to succeed him as Senate minority leader after he retires in 2016.

“I think Schumer should be able to succeed me,” the Nevada Democrat said about the New York Democrat in an interview Friday with the Washington Post.

Reid, 75, whose Senate career has spanned three decades, has led Senate Democrats since 1995. He announced Friday he would not seek re-election in 2016. (more…)

Example: 2013 President Obama announces 41 new legislative proposals.  Two actually came to fruition.

WASHINGTON – Judging by his recent history, it doesn’t really matter what President Obama says in Tuesday’s State of the Union address — Congress is going to ignore him anyway.
Mr. Obama has the second-worst record of getting his State of the Union policy requests enacted into law of any president in the last five decades, according to an analysis by two scholars that puts him only above the unelected two-year presidency of Gerald Ford.
From 2009 through 2014, Mr. Obama issued 209 different calls for action from Congress in his speeches, but only saw lawmakers follow through on 64 of them — good for just 30 percent. That’s only slightly better than Mr. Ford’s 28 percent success rate, and is well below the likes of President Clinton, the previous Democratic president, who won 44 percent of his policies even though he faced a Congress more Republican than Mr. Obama has. The media is claiming CIA Director John Brennan is angry about the release of the CIA report…. Horsepucky! That is a complete and total ruse meant to deflect attention away from the real reasons why the former White House advisor, and fellow ideological traveler, was selected for the top job in the CIA.

Secondly, while the leftist ideologues are in a drama induced apoplectic feint about the Democrat Committee reports’ content, there is nothing within the report that is as bad as the previous leaks -around content- would have led anyone to believe.
However, that said, what the report does do is effectively accomplish it’s inherent goal. The goal of the report was to further diminish the influence of America through President Obama’s preferred method of Alinsky tactics: Isolate, Ridicule, Marginalize.
By outlining the assistance from known and unknown allies in the war against extremist terrorism – the Obama administration has effectively insured that no country will again trust us to keep secret their alliance.   This approach ‘isolates’ our nation from broader security reaches and ‘marginalizes’ our leverage or influence. All of the suspicions people held about the true motives behind the failed Orman bid are essentially confirmed.

(MediaIte) In the 2014 midterms, independent candidate Greg Orman nearly unseated GOP incumbent Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS), but eventually lost by a ten-point margin. This was sad for the Democrats — not just because it helped the GOP take over the Senate, but also because a Democrat-affiliated Super PAC had secretly poured $1.5 million into his race.
According to documents filed to the FEC and found by Bloomberg,, Senate Majority PAC, run by former advisors to Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), quietly donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to two pro-Orman Super PACs after October 16th. This is important, because this magical time after this date is known as the “veiled disclosure period”: Basically, people can donate millions of dollars to a PAC during this time, and legally, do not have disclose this transaction until after the election. Those of you familiar with the Benghazi Brief will note the alignment and expectation of the Rogers/Ruppersberger report.  Their report is exactly as we anticipated it would be.
With a House Select Committee (Trey Gowdy) already in place, you might rightly ask yourself why did Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger even produce a report?  As you read their House Intelligence Panel Report on Benghazi it is important to note a few key aspects:

• Both Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger are members of the Congressional Gang of Eight.  They are the ONLY authors.

• This is not a House Intelligence “Committee” report on Benghazi.  This is only two committee members writing a report based on prior information.

• Both Rogers and Ruppersberger would have been briefed on the CIA operations in Benghazi during 2011/2012 as the covert operation began.

• President Obama signed a finding memo in 2011 permitting Operation Zero Footprint to begin. The congressional “gang of eight” held oversight responsibilities.

• Rogers, Ruppersberger along with Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Saxby Chambliss and Diane Feinstein would have been notified of the presidential authorization. In 2011 they were the congressional Gang of Eight.  Their lack of oversight reflected a willful blindness to the operation.

• In addition to the covert Zero Footprint Operation, the Benghazi CIA annex served as a rendition site. [We find this out in 2013 from Paula Broadwell, who was the pillow-talk recipient of information from 2012 CIA Director General David Petraeus. Broadwell and Petraeus had an extramarital affair.]

The Rogers/Ruppersberger Report is specifically designed, by wording, to provide political cover to both parties – Republicans and Democrats within the Gang of Eight particularly  included, and protected.

(Via Associated Press) Republican Dan Sullivan won Alaska’s U.S. Senate race, defeating incumbent Democrat Mark Begich. Sullivan led Begich by about 8,100 votes on Election Night last week, and when state officials counted absentee and questioned ballots Tuesday, the results indicated that Begich could not overcome Sullivan’s lead.
The Alaska seat was initially considered key to the Republicans’ hopes of taking control of the U.S. Senate, but that was accomplished election night with the GOP sweep.
Sullivan, a first-time candidate, ran a confident campaign, ignoring the debate schedule Begich released during the primary and setting his own agenda. He also attracted some star power to the state, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a tea party favorite, and 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney rallying support for Sullivan in the waning days of the hotly contested race. (more…)

We began documenting three months ago the “border crisis” of unaccompanied alien children, UAC’s, was a pure ruse, a figment. Constructed simply to create the optics of crisis and support the demand for comprehensive immigration reform prior to the congressional recess.
Evidence continued to mount week after week as we followed the money flowing out of the DHS and HHS agencies to various left-wing social constructs who were profiting from the scheme. Panic and alarm sounded as $3.7 billion was demanded by Obama to cope with the non existent “border crisis” – couched more favorably as a “humanitarian crisis”.
Last week we shared how the Federal Government had given up on “housing for UAC’s”, because there were no UAC’s to house.  We’ve previously proven the statistical manipulation by comparing DHS data to Immigration Court data.
Now here’s a report of what happens when these fully adult “UAC’s” register for school.  The children with grey hair and wrinkles who admit to being 35-years-old and OLDER.
