Cash Strapped CHICAGO Sees The Lucrative Business of Illegal Aliens As a Way To Help Cover Financial Hurdles….

That headline is not the substance of this media article (below) – but for those of you who have followed the intents and activities of Emanuel Inc. you know where this is going.

UAC Heartland Human Care - Chicago

HHS (The Multi-Trillion Dollar Agency) was selected by the administration to facilitate the transition of illegal aliens into local communities.   Doing so allows a massive amount of money to be shifted around inside the agency.   (emphasis added in the article and after we’ll expand):

rahm-emanuel-6Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a former Obama administration chief of staff, wants to expand the city’s efforts to house young illegal immigrants from Central America, reportedly proposing to shelter an additional 1,000 of them by year’s end.

“The influx of unaccompanied child migrants is a growing humanitarian crisis that we can no longer ignore,” said Emanuel, according to The Chicago Tribune. “While we have our own challenges at home, we cannot turn our backs on children that are fleeing dangerous conditions.”

The mayor’s office says the federal government will pay for the youths’ shelter, education, health care, food, safety and social services¹.

ezikel emanuel_0-550x309Pelosi Rahm Emanuel

On the left Rahm Emanuel’s brother, Zeke – another Obama architect.  On the right the legislative construction crew.

However, officials are trying to get Chicago lawyers to *provide free legal services² for the youths, who arrived in hopes of staying with U.S. relatives but now face federal deportation hearings.

[ ¹, ² *Remember, Obama and Eric Holder have created a taxpayer funded system to use AmeriCorps to represent the illegal alien families during legal proceedings.  Remember also there are no deportation hearings – that part is pure conjecture.]

To be sure, Chicago has its own challenges, including a recent violent-crime wave in which at least 82 people were shot over the Fourth of July  holiday weekend, with 16 victims dying.

The Chicago area already has nine such facilities, which according to the National Immigrant Justice Center have roughly *500 beds for illegal-immigrant youths³ already in the United States.

[³ *Remember, despite media reports these are not “unaccompanied youths”; they are with their illegal guardian, usually Mom.  HHS own internal data show the average length of stay in transitional housing is 30 to 35 days and HHS spends about $36 to 40k in grant money for each child unit.]

City official have yet to disclose the locations of the new sites and how many they will need and must be retrofitted to accommodate the youths.

Emanuel, also a former Illinois Democratic congressman, announces his plan amid the national debate on what to do with the estimated  57,000 illegal youths who have illegally crossed the southern U.S. border during the past nine months.

They hope to stay in the U.S. based on a 2008 law, enacted to curb human trafficking, that allow youths from non-border countries to live here.

Other cities and states have rejected housing the new arrivals, including the residents of the California city of Murrieta who held protests and turned away buses full of illegal border-crossers.

Earlier this month, Maryland Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley, a major Obama supporter during his re-election effort, called on the president’s administration to take a more “humanitarian” approach to the crisis.

The White House in turn purportedly leaked work that O’Malley opposed a plan to send some of the youths to a suburban Maryland facility. The governor responded by saying he fears the new arrivals would not be welcome at that particular site.

Emanuel policy chief Michael Negron told the Tribune that his administration is focused on facilities already equipped for residential use, including those once used as hotels and dormitories.    (read more)

…AND in Chicago alone –  Heartland Human Care Services !!

UAC Heartland Human Care - Chicago

Remember, this is $27 million already sent to Chicago for UAC’s (Unaccompanied Alien Children).   According to 2013 tax filings this organization gets 99.68% of revenue from Federal Grants.

That might surprise you, but it really shouldn’t.   Chicago’s Heartland Human Care Services (HHCS) is well known to us because of the MASSIVE amount of Obama stimulus money they were given in 2010:  $241,000,000 +   (2010 pdf tax filing here)

Heartland 2010

Since 1980 Heartland Human Care Services, a Division of Chicago’s Heartland Alliance, has been led by Dr Sid L Mohn:

sid-mohn-newDr. Mohn is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan that allows the organization to meet its mission. Through his passion and vision, Dr. Mohn has helped Heartland Alliance and its partners become the premier service-based human rights organization in the Midwest.

Prior to his tenure at Heartland Alliance, he held positions with the Chicago Urban League, the Kane/DeKalb Counties Employment and Training Consortium, International Documentation, and La Casa Center.

Dr. Mohn is a graduate of Temple University, received his Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at Claremont, California, and his doctorate from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. He is a United Church of Christ clergyperson and a member of the Order of Ecumenical Franciscans.

Dr. Mohn is past Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Immigration Forum and is a member of the Board of Directors of International Social Services U.S. Committee for Refugees, Chicago Commission on Human Relations, and Global Chicago.

Here’s an article Mohn wrote for the Huffington Post on why Chicago is the perfect host for a previous NATO meeting.  He’s a community organizer’s ‘community organizer’.  I can literally only imagine the amount of graft within this Chicago network.   $227,550 for “remodeling expenses”?  Gee, I wonder who got that contract.    $110,895 for legal services in Boston Mass?  But the group operates in Chicago ?

Hopefully people are beginning to see the picture now.   There are many organizations  openly advocating for the continuance of illegal immigration, and the housing, facilitation, processing and eventual placement of those illegal aliens.   But what you don’t see, because the media will not report on it, is those same entities have a vested financial interest in the business of illegal immigration.

Just on this aspect of a border crisis alone, the “Unaccompanied Alien Children”,  HHS has distributed grants totaling over $666,000,000.00 to contractors, groups, and entities whose entire existence is dependent on the continuance of the flow of illegals.    This includes “churches” and “faith based” organizations who are receiving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to keep the scheme operating.   Why would they want the border secure and the spigot turned off ?

Now take a look at Chicago Mayor and Mrs. Pelosi again:

Pelosi Rahm Emanuel

Any questions ?

I would venture a guess that Chicago is at least as dangerous if not more dangerous that the countries these children are “escaping” from.

  2. Betty says:

I just read that Obama plans to add at least another 30 thousand illegal alien children to our school system. I made me wonder if this is what common core is about. Does anyone know enough about common core to tell me. All I think I know is that it lowered the standards in American class rooms to the lowest common denominator, was that in anticipation of this tsunami of illegal children.

    • WeeWeed says:

Interesting observation, Ms. Betty – since common core teaches not one scintilla of the truth……. you may have an extremely valid point.

    • Common Core is just another form of indoctrination and waste of your tax dollars . A legit way to mind eff your children ?

      • arttart1983 says:

downtoearththinking ~ I agree with you IF a child is of AVERAGE intelligence, parents NOT working w/students or work in the public school system think most kids are normal, like their own, or kids they know! That’s simply NOT the case, there is a downside of a HUGE population of students that it will hurt.

The problem is: the last yr. I taught in special education, I was pulled from my classroom to test a 4th grader who had FAILED the LEAP Test the 3 previous years. If he failed the test I HAD to read to him, he would then be assigned to a self contained special ed class where the numbers were low, not over 10 kids where he would likely remain until he quit school or was 22 yrs. of age, which special ed allows..

The problem was, I had to read the test to him BECAUSE he couldn’t read! Without testing giving the kid 4 opportunities to pass, would this kid who was 13 1/2 yrs. old & taller than me in the 4th grade be passed onto the fifth grade in a normal classroom setting without the ability to read because his IQ was so low? Maybe! Would he just be bumped up every year to get rid of him, then when he was in the 12th grade, would he be handed a diploma he didn’t deserve/earn when he still couldn’t read? Maybe, or he could be handed an “alternative diploma” he didn’t earn/deserve.

Failing the LEAP test AFTER the 4th time, would force the kid I tested into special ed. no matter how much his parents protested.

        • partyzantski says:

The problem with illiterate children is the fault of the parents. Parents who are not diligent about this responsibility should face the social opprobrium of the community. Failing to teach a child to read is child abuse. Failing to teach a child to read makes them a slave.

The people who kept foisting this kid forward are professional cowards. They should make the PARENTS read the test to their little future astronaut, and be present for all education.

There is NO PLAUSIBLE REASON in America for illiteracy. There is no excuse. Libraries, programs, church groups, family… I know learning disabilities exist, but seriously. You work at it until you succeed.

This is another reason America needs to go back to being a shame based culture. People would push themselves much, much harder to succeed.

          • joshua says:

technology (cell phones, PCs, media and games) are created more illiterates than ever before….school is impossible to teach because the kids will not stop texting and playing with their cell phones.

    • Attorney says:

I have a kid who will be attending a school where there will likely be some. This situation makes me sick to my stomach. The resources that will be devoted to dealing with the illegals . . . I have a good chance to escape this country. It will be hard, but the target destination lacks many of the evils spreading in the U.S. Not sure of the right thing to do but I do not see the U.S. as improving and expect in a decade that the Decepticons will have so changed the culture never again will there be turning back. And when Texas is finally Blue, write it ALL off. Heck, at that point stop following politics at all. It will only drive you mad.

      • joshua says:

I hear that a lot of US citizens have moved to Mexico for better living conditions….you know who and how much to pay off, and everything is cheaper, and the doctors are all US trained anyway.

    • partyzantski says:

The rising tide of illegal aliens into the school system is designed to break it, which will require massive Federal totalitarian intervention.
Consider as well the health effects of this. A criminal alien population will be in very close contact with actual American children. The interlopers have a more relaxed sense of sanitation, overall.
I remember when our oldest was in a school that had an influx of immigrants (the place we lived in LOVED them some uncontrolled immigration, the stranger and more alien, the betterer). The oldest kid kept coming home with lice.
After the second time, that was it. The boys received 1st phase Parris Island Recruit cuts, the girl ended up with MUCH shorter hair. Coconut containing shampoos were helpful as well, not sure of the mechanism.
The time, energy and suffering entailed in steam cleaning a house and commercially laundering all linen, clothing and the rest (Doctor visits, lice combs and insecticides)… Made my blood boil. apparently, we were not tolerant of other people’s lifestyle and culture. MY lifestyle and culture historically does not look fondly upon lice.
I guess some folks love them some disease vectors, others are repulsed by them. I guess America will now get to decide which it prefers with hands-on experience.
Given the “Lord of the Flies”-like atmosphere prevalent in American Public Schools, any vectors will transfer and multiply like a prairie fire. How will kids be able to get anything done while itching and scratching what ails them?

  3. peachteachr says:

I have not read or seen a single thing that is good about CC. And that old Emmanuel is one smart dude. Chicago is in the news every weekend for the high # of people shot and murdered. We’ll soon have people (thugs) who are illiterate in 2 languages. I guess he won’t be going for the title of “America’s Mayor”. I feel sorry for the people of Chicago. They better speak up.

    • arttart1983 says:

peachteacher ~ failing the leap test on 4 attempts would prevent the “thugs” from being passed to the next grade UNTIL they learned to read & passed it, they wouldn’t advance. Dumbing down requirements would allow the “thugs” to be pushed from grade to grade & handed a diploma or an alternative diploma, dumbing down requirements help the dumb.

I too feel sorry for Chicago, they need to vote the God Father out but Chicago has bred Democratic corrupt moron after moran & the taxpayers keep voting to keep them in office no matter how corrupt they are. Hence, Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned his political seat & is serving time in Fed prison now, his wife will serve her Fed prison time once he finishes, I think she ran a “NON Profit” & used funds for personal use.

1/2 of the citizens have moved from Detroit, it was once 1.5 million, now it is 750,000.00. The same w/those that once facilitated their offices/employed in Chicago, Oprah moved her offices & is now selling the original “harpo studios” there as well as her mansions.

      • stella says:

I believe Chicago has a current population of 2.7 million, up from 2010.

Detroit has a population of 688,000, down from 2010.

Who knows what will happen to Chicago in the future? I agree that they need a change in government, but I can’t see that happening soon.

ADD: The ethnic makeup is very different too. Chicago is 45% white only, 33% black, and 29% hispanic.

      • peachteachr says:

I’m retired now, thank God. I spent my last 7 years teaching the lowest achieving students in 1st or 2nd grade. I know the problem firsthand and up close and personally. The Bell Curve is true, you are always going to have a group of children who simply cannot read as well as a group who will overachieve. If a student doesn’t read by 3rd grade, they most likely will not read well ever. I live in a rural area of Ga. where there is only 1 school for K-5 and is at least 66% black. My community is lucky b/c admin is at least willing to try different approaches. I had 11 students and all they asked me to do was to teach reading and math all day. Ten of my 11 students passed the end of year exam and 1 went to special ed. Those 10 who passed are never going to be A students. Also, arttart, there has to be a social promotion plan or you will have 16 year olds in a 3rd grade classroom with 9 year olds.

  4. justfactsplz says:

Every one wants a piece of the pie, making money off of human trafficking. It is sickening. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we found out Emanuel’s brother is overseeing the medical treatment of all of these illegals.

  5. Spar Harmon says:

I used to live there. What I hear is that aware people are unable to figure out any effective way to ‘speak up’ — — screaming out your frustration in your living room, isolated and unheard does not bring relief. Wonder why?

    • Attorney says:

I do not know how any sane person could live in Chicago and not lose his or her mind. It must be awful. Welcome to the future of all the cities in 10 years. Can you imagine? There is going to be chaos galore and a solid Democratic lock on all of these wacko’s votes. How do we escape this future? Seriously? The graffiti is so on the wall.

      • Spar Harmon says:

I totally agree with your prognosis on the face of things. When I step back and mingle one-on-one, equal-with-equal with people in my community, I feel better. Because I can talk stuff out, and hear them out, and share info and just be human, and often discussions grow into actions – maybe little actions but very relieving of ‘what-can-I-do syndrome’. There has been growing evidence of trust. Incidents where neighbors came out and quieted ugly situations on their own; amazing the multi-messaged effects through out the community.
Besides, I have trust in a Creator in control of its creation. From that perspective who knows what’s really afoot?

      • stella says:

I actually have always loved Chicago. There are really terrible neighborhoods, but many really nice ones, not to mention the many cultural opportunities, excellent restaurants etc.

What the future holds may be difficult, however, based on the current political situation. These aren’t your old time Dems, like old Mayor Daley, who ran his political machine with an iron hand, and understood what side his bread was butter on.

As for adding a bunch of Hispanic illegal immigrants. Chicago already has a large Hispanic population. I doubt that the blacks and Hispanics will fight any more than they already do now.

  6. Lucille says:

If you Google the MS-13 gang, you’ll find that they have “chapters” in most major cities in the U.S. The gang members coming up from El Salvador, especially, combine with the “mother” gang in Los Angeles, CA. All over L.A. the MS-13 graffiti is seen. They are aligned with all the major gangs of the world, even the Yakuza in Japan. So we’re not dealing here with a few young men and perhaps women invading from the south who are going to be influenced by “good” Americans. These gang members are hardened criminals even at 13 or 14 years old. I find it absolutely amazing that the police departments of America are not rising up and saying, “Not in my city.” And if those who supposedly “protect and serve” us aren’t talking truth to power, we’re in for a very bad next two years. Obama wants us to experience what other nations have in the way of gang violence as part of his payback. As Rush would say, “Don’t doubt me!”

    • Attorney says:

See, these savages should be treated as foreign invaders and if there WERE a good reason to have SWAT teams, this is it – hunt them down and kill them or have them placed into POW camps. Instead, they are free to spread their Meth dealing and violence throughout the core of our nation.

      Forget it. It is finished.

  7. Lucille says:

One of my favorite theaters in Los Angeles is the old (1931) Los Angeles Theater on Broadway Street. If you will go to and click on the “photo gallery” section and under that, the “Loft Window” photo, you’ll see what I mean about graffiti. It’s not easy climbing up there, but in the tagging world, that’s the challenge.

  8. partyzantski says:

So…. back in the pre-war South, people made money off the labors and suffering of imported meat bags. Now, Rahm Emmanuel makes money off the labors and suffering of imported meat bags.
Now, how is this different? One votes for a living, the other picked cotton for a living. Both support the Regime QED. Tip of the hat to Rahm Emmanuel, you have laundered the human misery into votes, and earned virtue points for your efforts.
Rahm (Massa’s in da house!) Emmanuel… AmeriKKKan icon.

The “god father” has demonstrated yet again, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”

Emmanuel demonstrating what to do” in a crisis:”
bilk it for all the $$$ you can get out of it, bilk the MEDIA promoting himself as a real humanitarian by offering up one of the most violent cities of America to host 1000 more illegals, covering the butt of his mentor Obama & figuring out a way for J Jackson Sr. to be involved w/the illegals for $$$ because Emmanuel NEEDS J Jackson Sr. to shut down the African Americans in Chicago who have become vocal calling Obama out, they got it before Emmanuel invited 1000 ore illegals to host..

  11. Gregg keyes says:

Sorry I didn’t take the time to read the whole article but is the money for all this coming directly from the liberals who support providing these services to the illegals or is it being stolen once again from working people who oppose the whole charade? I’m guessing option two.

    • arttart1983 says:

Gregg keyes ~ everybody pays whether they want to or not, it’s coming from the taxpayers, so is the 3.8 billion.

      Taxpayers have no choice.

  12. czarowniczy says:

Ain’t the only place free Federal money’s being shifted around. Remember I’d mentioned a few weeks back I’d received a USDA email to the effect that a new program offering low/no interest loans and grants to ‘disadvantaged’ farmers was out and when I contacted my local USDA/FSA and state USDA offices they knew nothing about it? They even asked me to forward the email to them. Well, now my new national FSA bulletin is all ga-ga about this new program that will aid disadvantaged farmers (they spell the eligible out, all the Usual Suspects) who’ve been farming fewer than ten years. I called the FSA office to see if proof of citizenship was required and a flustered clerk referred me to the DC office – something I will be following up on – but I was told that somehow the veterans were dropped from the program though they were on at one time – another thing I’ll be looking into. So for those of you who might be wondering where all of these dewy, Keane-eyed waifs and their extended families will be housed – looks like some are going to get free taxpayer-funded ranches or farms. Who’s in YOUR wallet?

  13. Yakmaster says:

How much money would the government and economy lose if middle class taxpayers decided in mass not to go to their jobs for a week as a form of peaceful protest? It’s all all about following the money isn’t it? Ayn Rand’s idea of producers not producing, but not from the job creators, many of whom are in bed with government, but from the bottom and middle.

  14. P.Spinach says:

Obama, McCain, Emmanual, all Coyotes. No difference from the actual ones allowing young children to be hurt on the way here – few probably make it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the parents of the accompanied children trying to mix into the melee murder the unaccompanied ones to make room for their own. It’s part of the illegal process. The Christian thing to do is to figure out how to safely stop feeding money to the Federal Coyotes.
