(New York, NY) – President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced that he intends to nominate U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions to serve as Attorney General and U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.  Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has been selected to be the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions has dedicated his life to public service. He has a distinguished legal career and has served as both the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama and Alabama Attorney General prior to his service in the U.S. Senate. The story about the CIA prepping for a possible cyber attack against Russia is akin to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad building wooden Aircraft Carriers for Iranian military exercises.  In essence this story is, laughable domestic consumption only.
Pushed by NBC-Universal this story is so fundamentally absurd, it’s beyond silly.
If the U.S. were going to launch a cyber operation against Russia:  #1) it would never be announced, and #2) it would not be the CIA carrying it out, it would be the NSA.
So why push the ridiculous story?   The motive is about propping up the failing candidacy of Hillary Clinton. There are trillions of dollars at stake, and sometimes strategic desperation calls for deployment of “The Bathtub Principle”:

A stunning admission.  Made even more stunning when you consider what the climate was at the time between Russia and the United States.  Remember, ’70-’80 is the peak soviet era of intensely hardline psychological communism.   Most people have forgotten today that it was the Soviet Union who supported China during the Tiananmen massacre.

According to media reports, some of the FBI recovered emails from their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s records have a relationship to the events in/around the Benghazi Libya attack on Sept. 11th 2012.

(WASHINGTON)— The State Department says about 30 emails involving the 2012 attack on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, are among the thousands of Hillary Clinton emails recovered during the FBI’s recently closed investigation into her use of a private server.

Government lawyers told U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta Tuesday that an undetermined number of the emails among the 30 were not included in the 55,000 pages previously provided by Clinton to the State Department. The agency said it would need until the end of September to review the emails and redact potentially classified information before they are released.  (read more)

It’s not just Hillary Clinton that wants this stuff quiet, it is also Republicans in congress.

Yesterday the New York Times posted a story titled: “Researchers or Corporate Allies? Think Tanks Blur the Line”.

But in the chase for funds, think tanks are pushing agendas important to corporate donors, at times blurring the line between researchers and lobbyists. And they are doing so while reaping the benefits of their tax-exempt status, sometimes without disclosing their connections to corporate interests.

Thousands of pages of internal memos and confidential correspondence between Brookings and other donors — like JPMorgan Chase, the nation’s largest bank; K.K.R., the global investment firm; Microsoft, the software giant; and Hitachi, the Japanese conglomerate — show that financial support often came with assurances from Brookings that it would provide “donation benefits,” including setting up events featuring corporate executives with government officials, according to documents obtained by The New York Times and the New England Center for Investigative Reporting. As a person who has floated though the disconcerting world of Think Tank politics, the Times article was a worthy notation not only because of the substance within it, but also -and perhaps more aptly- because in the world of intellectual property amalgamation such a news article (research proposition) doesn’t just happen organically as a matter of happenstance.

When you read this, sip slowly, dust off the way-back machine, and think about those who have surfaced visibly to support Hillary Clinton.  Including “retired” U.S. General John Allen (retired in 2012), who was previously brought out of retirement to lead President Obama’s fight against ISIS in 2014.

In order to understand the scope of the relationships it takes understanding the full back story.  Stay with it….

The question posed to the Tree House back in 2014 was: Why is the White House selecting a retired General John Allen, instead of a current commanding officer to lead Obama’s anti-ISIS efforts?

Deep breath: This White House uses personal leverage to their advantage like no other before it. Example #1: Where’s Bowe Bergdahl? Example #2: What ever happened to Ahmed Abu Khattala the captured head of the Benghazi attack ?

See… you had to think about it. This White House swamps us so much we forget to follow-up…..

There was a risk to the political optics of fighting ISIS.  A terrorist enemy the White House refused to acknowledge, and previously called the “JV Team”.  Consequently, the administration needed a competent “General” President Obama and Denis McDonough could control, rely upon, and quite possibly bypass the Pentagon.

So who did the White House leverage in 2014?

Yeah, General John Allen.

Nothing will come of it, but it is still interesting to point out that for the first time EVER former CIA Director Leon Panetta will give testimony to congress about Libya.

It is important to note that Panetta and Hillary Clinton worked together on Operation Zero Footprint, the covert weapons running and regime change operation which began in March 2011 as a result of President Obama authorizing via presidential “finding memo“.

After Panetta left the CIA, General Petraeus took over and was ‘technically‘ in charge of the CIA on the night of the Benghazi attack 9/11/12.   However, Petraeus was removed from testifying before congress by the affair with Paula Broadwell which led to his resignation.  Mike Morell took over as interim CIA chief two days before the testimony.  (more…)

A recent article at Real Clear Politics hits on one of the key aspects of the Benghazi fiasco that recent media are hell-bent on hiding; Hillary Clinton, not President Obama, is actually the person responsible for the crisis in Libya.

Watching the House Select Committee on Benghazi hearings, it was interesting to note how no-one really went ‘there’ to give Clinton full ownership of the 2011 Libyan Intervention.  So let’s review Clinton’s ownership.

It’s as if both congress and the media have forgotten those ridiculous 19-days in 2011 when Hillary was flying back-and-forth to meet with French Prime-Minister Sarkozy and plan their endeavors.

In the U.S. presidential adviser Samantha Power was  bending Obama’s ear with declarations of a “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) the Eastern Libyan citizens from the boogie man narrative assigned to Gadaffi.

Meanwhile in New York,  U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice was answering calls from her British and French counterparts who were similarly selling an interventionist message.  Back in the White House, President Obama was reluctant to engage.  It was Secretary Clinton working overtime to bring the President into the same line of thinking as herself.
