Republican senators Boozman, Capito, Cassidy, Collins, Cramer, Crapo, Hoeven, Ernst, Grassley, Kennedy, McConnell, Moran, Murkowski, Romney, Rounds, Sullivan, Thune, Tillis, Wicker, Young, and Cornyn all voted to send $95 billion to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan to protect their borders while leaving our borders unprotected.
This is the UniParty in all its glory:
Most people just don’t realize the nature of the opposition we face. ¹The elected representatives simply don’t care what our opinion is, they will do whatever serves their interests and too hell with the voters.
WASHINGTON DC – The Senate approved $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan aid by a 70-29 vote early on Tuesday morning, sending the bill to an uncertain fate in the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson is giving the legislation a frosty reception.
Despite a last-ditch effort from conservative opponents of the bill, Johnson‘s cold water and former President Donald Trump’s attempts to kill the legislation, Republican support for the deal actually grew overnight, with 22 GOP senators voting in favor of the package — a kind of rejection of those in the party, like Trump, who argued any aid should be structured as a loan. ¹Now, imagine if we had some simultaneous triggering mechanism that could abruptly initiate a total work stoppage, a general labor strike, in the states or hometowns of the aforementioned senators. Perhaps that would get their attention.
At least there are a few states where both senators held the interests of their voters in mind. Florida, Missouri, Vermont, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Nebraska all voted against the Ukraine spending bill.
What a country!
Two faced Tillis is still two faced. Never seen him speak in our county, only from afar.. Mark Robinson took the stage at our middle school auditorium last Saturday evening. We are taking notes. The light continues to shine through, thank you God!
Tillis hates us and says we are stupid. Well I hate him back.
I don’t see him as twp-faced…he has one face, he looks like one of Mitch’s bitches. He is a snake and back stabbed Trump on this one…
Todd Young will eagerly vote for anything the global 1% desire. Mike Braun will occasionally vote against them, but only when he needs votes (he’s running for Governor).
Time to add Young to the needs primaried list.
A couple of Red Weddings for these bastards and that shit stops immediately.
With a lousy band.
For the next fundraiser for the Uniparty.
I’m sure they take turns being the good/bad guys.
Bribery works.
Anyway, I’ve been saying for awhile that the GOP cannot be co-opted or reformed. It must be destroyed. Nothing has changed my mind on this.
As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, the Senate is lost. Hopelessly corrupt, and criminally negligent.
Hopefully, Speaker Johnson keeps his word and refuses to advance the bill.
I guarantee you if Roy Blunt (Missouri) were still in office, he would have voted with this group. Thank God he’s out, and Eric Schmitt is in.
Roy and his family are lapping it up on K Street
They have no fear of voters. That needs to change.
In the meantime, they vote at the behest of their real constituents:
Those who count the votes.
The MIC.
Whoever took the compromising pictures of them.
From “West Side Story”, sung with an accent: “I vant to leev in Amerika! Evry tings freeeee in Amerika!”
Asked a person who works with Congress, “Why is it that Congress doesn’t seem to do what their constituents want?” The answer given to me was,”There is no incentive to.”
There is no incentive to care about their constituents because their money comes from billionaire donors, as Sundance has been telling us.
Because of that, they only care about the needs of their donors.
This means we do not have a representative republic anymore.
What we have is an oligarchy, made up of people who “own” our government, the rogue CIA, the rogue DoD, and those in Congress feeding at the trough created by the billionaire donors.
Once they are elected, they know they have the chance for untold riches, as long as they do their donors’ biding.
This is not a Constitutional republic. This is a totalitarian state.
Those who care about their constituents are not enough to sway Congress one way or another.
We are without any recourse. We can’t get redress of our grievances as the courts, the DOJ, are all stacked against us.
We cannot get due process if we are arrested and labeled “domestic terrorists.”
Everything our founders built into the constitution to protect us from an overly powerful government has been destroyed.
It is time for a new DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.
Exactly
those are called civil wars
Unfortunately, I don’t think we have enough patriots to beat the stealers.
We got enough. We just got to get them all on the field and execute on the plays as a unit.
I borrowed! Ty
😂😂😂😂😂
My man. Coming thru big time.
Here’s the plan. Pretend you didn’t see what they did. Happy now?
Here’s an ‘updated’ map of the United States (found on Citizen Free Press), which is funny, sad & true:
This theoretical map is pretty much the only way our politicians would stop funding Ukraine, etc. — and take our Southern border seriously.
Looks like I’m in the Donbas region 😐
The Honorable Chip Roy, R-TX has been quoted as saying he will introduce a Bill to change the name of Texas to New Ukraine.
South Carolina. Although who the hell snuck in and voted “nay” for Graham is a mystery…but we’ll take it.
“We don’t need you for this one, Linds. Go ahead and vote No. This time.”
Yep. Same for Lankford and Mullin. The traitor rotation.
Mullin was defending his vote claiming 75% of this funding is coming back to USA for jobs building all the weapons to replenish our stocks, dont’cha know.
That’s hilarious, that he thinks we’re dumb enough to believe him
Lankford suddenly “conceerned” that the mask has slipped, and people see the decayed, rotted face within.
OOPSIE! Time for damage control. Same thing with Mullen, thinks he’s more exposed given Lankford having drawn attention to the this particular instance – thus concerned that OK voters will be checking him out. Time to hide in the tall grass. (Mullen, by the way, has fulsomely prasied Michael Byrd for his murder of Ashli Babbitt.)
Mullen was slow on the uptake – voted for Ukraine war funding on Sunday senate vote. Sudden awarenss of OOPSIE.
Both are worthless.
H e usually does something like this just before an election. I had someone in SC tell me this.
Can confirm. And every time the idiots in this state fall for it.
Not going to change until some aristocrats decease unexpectedly. Amazed Merkley voted no.
Will Republican Speaker Johnson stop it from being voted on in the House?
He said today he would
Nancy Peeeelosi said on Twitter I think today that she has a workaround to get around Johnson on this …. I cannot find the link right now.
A discharge petition.
I think they have already worked out that they will use this petition. It’s already baked into their plan, and they are all in on it!
Just like the GOP”lost” the seats, reducing their majority. I think this was also planned.
he’s corrupt also
DOA in the house is what he said. Hope he keeps his word.
As somebody I know likes to say – GETTEMOUTTAHERE – by any means necessary. Traitors all.
Sanders? He didn’t need to vote, nay. Was it a principled vote?
Also, it didn’t need that many, yea’s. How close to 100% is this to telling MAGA, this is how many we got and you don’t have squat? Also, a vote to show us and Trump how many votes to convict in impeachment there could be?
Disgusting that we care more about other country’s borders than our own. Shame on all of them who vote for this. What happened to no aid until we fixed our own borders. America should care more about our own borders security than anyone else’s. Of course Biden wants Ukraine protected – think how much his family has benefited for the deals between the Biden’s and that country. On national TV Biden himself admitted he held up their aid package until they stopped prosecuting the company Hunter worked for. Just how much corruption do we the people have to put up with before we take back our country?
Vance: The Republican Plot Against Donald Trump
The inside story of how Congress is pursuing endless war in Ukraine—and trying to stop a Trump election.
“Three facts are important. First, voters range from ambivalent to outright hostile of further Ukraine aid.
“Second, a subset of Republican senators are obsessed with Ukraine aid, caring about this issue more than any other.
“Third, a majority of House Republicans oppose further Ukraine aid, and demand strong border security measures regardless of the details of a Ukraine package.”
https://www.theamericanconservative.com/how-congress-is-pursuing-endless-war-in-ukraine-and-trying-to-stop-a-trump-election/
The only strike they would notice is if the caterer’s went on strike in DC!
(sorry – could not resist that one)
But seriously, it’s not the politicians that you target by going on strike. It’s the caterer’s to the power behind the politicians that need to go on strike.
Cut off their liquor supply.
A triggering mechanism?
Haven’t we had enough of those in the last 3-4 years?
And yet nothing happened.
These are the people that are doing their best to not only keep the borders wide open but use taxpayer dollars to help facilitate the invasion.
These same losers couldn’t find 11 billion dollars for President Trump to build a wall but they can easily find 200 billion the last two years to protect foreign borders.
It is supposed to a government By the people, For the people, instead we have, a government of globalists for the corporations.
Can’t call these corrupt, poc senators republicans, they are card carrying liberals. Absolutely no ethics, integrity or courage.
Voting for the lesser or two evils is how we got here.
Because of Trump and the Republican Senate there is not Roe vs Wade
Arguably the Roe vs Wade is the polarization issue that cost the Republicans the bulk of their projected majority in 2022.
It is also a tool in the Democrats belt for 2024, by putting abortion on the ballot.
No matter what you or I think of abortion it is a highly controversial issue that escalates personal choice (for whatever belief) into the political domain. If it ends up on 2024 it might just be the wedge that tips in favor of whomever numbskull the Democrats can muster to put on the ballot.. just because quite a few Republicans cant let it go (win a tiny battle, but lose the war sort of thing IMHO)
In that sense one could reason the supreme court DID interfere into the 2022 election. Also ask yourself why the timing of SC Roe vs Wade in 2022 and why then and there… It’s like republican leadership wanted to snatch defeat from the jaws of projected victory.
2024 might go the same way w.r.t abortion rights, regardless if Trump is 1000x times better than ..Newson (?) (nobody’s talking about that abortion elephant in the room, which is strange because I feel the Democrats are just itching to show you their 2024 ballots with the abortion question on there)
I am happy thst Roe is gone, but I think the swamp did it to activate the issue for their base.
On the bright side, it is saving babies in red states.
No, what happened in 2022 was due to 3 things, none of them Roe vs Wade.
1) The RNC worked AGAINST candidates or simply let them wither on the vine as it were
2) There were as many election issues in ’22 as there were in ’20
3) A lot of “conservatives” sat at home on their backsides
Unless someone is convicted , goes to prison, or pays with their treasonous life
as an example to the rest of the swamp- i don’t think we can fix DC.
Christoforou (or Mercouris, Duran et al) made this point in one of the recent videos (I do not have a link handy but it stuck with me):
At the point of the second world war the US was not doing so well, they were coming out of the great depression. At that point switching to WW2 war economy, it was established the US could go to war and do pretty well economically. At the end of WW2 a lot — if not all — of United States significant global competition (Japan, Europe) was in shambles and the US escaped pretty unscathed with its industry in good shape. From that moment on the US seems to prefer war as an plausible ongoing economic model.
If this holds true then no wonder why the MIC is so pervasive in todays politics. It pays the bills.
That being said another statistic: in US entire 276 years of existence there was only 17 years of peace.
https://www.warhistoryonline.com/instant-articles/usa-only-17-years-of-peace.html
And we question why the uniparty wants to fund the war in Ukraine? By now it is the US business model it seems, the deep state knows no other way then apparently.
sad to see kennedy voting yes, he’s usually sensible but not in this case
Just another faker…
Kennedy has been a disappointment on several occasions. I cant imagine what would possess him to vote yes. Cassidy is a democrat through and through.
Boozman is not up for re-election until 2028. He’s hoping people will forget. I think him and Cotton take turns voting for these super spending bills. Cotton has been on my dookie list for some time now.
Just read that Chinese nationals are also sneaking through the border. Great.
Even the snakes like Marsha Blackburn who voted against it, were really for it. They work all that stuff out ahead of time.
Yes!!!!!
Looks like the uniparty controlled senate is running roughshod on the house where spending bills should originate. Like the budgetary process that has long been forgotten. Turd world banana republic we are.
Macron’s Effusive Promises to Ukraine May Be On Hold
Macron was also supposed to coordinate his visit with an organization called MEDEF International.
MEDEF is a non-profit organization created by the French Business Council. It was to go with Macron to set up a reconstruction program in Ukraine that would, in practice, significantly benefit French companies. It is in parallel to what the EU and the US are doing toward the same goal. All are looking to use post-war donations to boost each of the participants’ private sector.
…political commentators in France are saying that while Ukraine is getting handouts, suffering French farmers are getting nothing.
https://weapons.substack.com/p/macrons-effusive-promises-to-ukraine
There are no such things as non-profits. The French farmers are right.
None were a surprise they are all RHINOs but the shock and i mean that was Kennedy. Why would he do that? always great article, be safe have a nice eve everyone
Don’t ever be fooled by that phony baloney good ole boy with the southern slang, RINO Sen. John Kennedy, who is always crackin’ a joke or two, but hates MAGA/Trump/America First.
Here! Hear! Corn Pone Kennedy needs to be on Hee Haw and not in the U.S. Senate.
“The elected representatives simply don’t care what our opinion is, they will do whatever serves their interests and to hell with the voters.”
and we keep voting for them. Wonder too how much of the “opposition” in the senate wasn’t pre-calculated by the GOP. They had enough to easily get it through, so why not allow some to pretend to be “working for the people”. I don’t trust any of these Mo-Fo’s.
I reckon I can finally put it to rest my resentment of Cruz and Beck going to the border to give out soccer balls. I was so peeved by that, I was like how stupid can they be? Made me sick. I will never like Ted, but today he did the right thing.
We need some serious Divine Intervention. These people are past being out of control, they need to feel the wrath of God Bigly.
There are many reasons that I haven’t felt “free” over the past seven years that I’ve lived in Northern Idaho. Oh, initially I did, it was day and night compared to the evil chaos I’d lived with in California. But then, there was the Drag Queen library party in Coeur d’Alene, the LGBTQ+ High School Administrators in Kellogg expelling a young man for being a patriotic American, the totalitarian COVID crap coming out of state government in Boise, lots of little things, that reminded me, Idaho isn’t quite free, either.
Worst of all are the two RINO Idaho Senators, Risch and Crapo, the same guys responsible for keeping McConnell as leader, and the same guys who rubber stamp any left-leaning initiative that McConnell and his Senate RINO’s run out there, like this Ukraine funding bill. They are McConnell’s poodles, and there’s apparently no way to kick ’em out. (Same with my GOP Congress critter, Fulcher.) There’s NO WAY that their votes for the Democrat’s unlimited Ukraine war initiative, nor the unlimited, Biden supporting, deficit spending is supported by the Idaho citizens. Just like most other states, we have “taxation without representation”.
I hear wars have been fought over this kind of thing. I won’t speculate as to “why” these guys are unbeatable as candidates, (well, I guess I will anyways), but I believe it has to do with a lot of outside money coming from Utah. Boise runs the state, and Boise is just about as left wing as San Francisco, LA, Sacramento, Seattle, Portland, Austin, or any one of the rest of the largest American cities (and/or State Capitol’s).
Now, this last part of my post will tick off a lot of you, but BECAUSE of the Idaho GOP’s leftwing swing and citizen’s abuse (I’m looking at you Gov. Little), I won’t vote for them. Period. I won’t throw my citizenship franchise away, either. I’ll vote for whatever meaningfully HURTS these SOBS. Democrat, Marxist, Libertarian, whatever, I don’t care. They don’t get to screw their GOP voters, and still get my vote. They don’t get to lie, cheat, and steal like leftist Democrats, and still have my support. I’ll vote for Trump. Everyone and anyone else, plus ALL my campaign contributions, go to individuals, MAGA or whatever, who live and support Christian values, will throw down to defend Constitutional government limits, defenda sound financial system, and support a strong, non-woke military used ONLY for “America first” purposes. I’ve voted for Republicans for 50 years. I held a seat on a County Central committee. I’ve been involved with politics, did my duty as a citizen, and …. 99.5% of all elected GOP persons have lied, thrown in with the Democrats, or been otherwise corrupt. NONE of them became poorer, living on their government paycheck. Most of them became extremely wealthy. Yep, the elected GOP won, personally, while American lost.
Where is the money from Utah coming from pray tell?
Sorry, but I don’t wanna touch on religion. 🙄😖🤬 (And, I’m only speculating anyhow.)
When I look, America is standing there
I can almost breathe her in like summer in the air
When I look at her, America is touching me
I would reach for her, but who can hold a memory?
If there is no way their vote reflects the people, then there is no way the people should vote for them in their primaries.
On the other aspect, if they make it through the primary – “I’m tired of being punched in the arm, so to show them, I’m going to vote for the one who will shoot me between the eyes.” Brilliant.
And you know that the primaries aren’t cooked in Idaho, how? Prove it. Show me a forensic audit of the TWO counties immediately around Boise, where Seth Kethel found statistical irregularities in 2020. The only two counties that were not “green”.
Idaho elections are stolen, too. If you actually consider them to be honest, you’re willfully ignoring the facts, or, of course, you’re a RINO/Democrat, and like the results (” … by any means necessary”).
I have no doubt there are irregularities in every frigging state in the nation. Just as obviously those issues can be overcome – or do you think they let PDJT win in 2016? Or let any number of staunchly, reliably conservative Congressional members repeatedly win?
Don’t give up – FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM.
Yes – it was the voting fraud that was the problem in 2020…
Must say, that’s the first time I’ve seen voting fraud cause an opponent to disappear off the damn ballot. Whooooweeeeeee!!
Cold anger.
🙂
The only Senator that really jumps off the page from my perspective is John Kennedy R, LA. What is it about Ukraine that he fully supports this funding? Was he a classmate of a Ukrainian govt official while he was attending Oxford? Just wondering what is thrust here.
He has a good theater act – one the enabling traits that allows him to still backstab the voters.
He’s the official court jester for the Uni-party.
Reminds me of “Our American Cousin”live from Fords Theater
Check out the list of US persons attending Oxford, especially Rhodes Scolars. Bubba Clinton is one of them. Oxford is where these kind of people go for their (geo)political syllabus.
Langford (ok) sponsored the Senate bill that had this funding plus the border BS. Guess all he really wanted was the border BS….
Something spooked him, cuz he dropped this bill like it was a copperhead
Kennedy has turned into Teddy Kennedy
Always has been. I have been called everything under the sun , for saying as much.
He was a Democrat until he switched to Repug. He unsuccessfully ran for Senate as a Dem, several times. Switched to Repug and here we are.
Once a Dem. Always a Dem. The only difference between Cassidy and Kennedy? Cassidy openly spits in your face and Kennedy is too cute by half while knifing you in the back.
If anyone wants to hear funny one liners….come spend a day with the Cajuns of South Louisiana.
I have cajun in-laws, they’re a hoot, cher!
And if any of us accept these uniparty republicans as legitimate, we become Uniparty too.
By their fruits ye shall know them.
It didn’t matter that I wrote my senator who is on that list of Yay’s and asked that he not support this wasteful spending. Of course, the same senator voted for the Infrastructure green energy bill, for each and every bit of fund for Ukraine, for every Democrat bill – following Mitch McConnell.
when you let them lose instead of voting for the same evil, there MAY be a chance of replacing them after a cycle.
these people are EVIL. they don’t care about you, me or anyone but their money launderers.
voting for the same evil, decrepit people, but expecting different results is insanity, right?
There won’t be anything left of the country “after a cycle” if people fill Congress with Dims, ESPECIALLY on the Senate side.
It’s amazing that so many people are falling for what they are doing – which is intentionally discouraging people in an effort to make them give up and help them usher in the end of this nation.
Bottleneck Walmart’s distribution centers
The lying little imp Mayorkas impeached.
“DC Uniparty Spends Another $95 Billion to Protect Ukraine and Israel Borders… USA, NotSoMuch!“
Actually, a whole lot more than $95 billion, to the tune of $850 billion (and per year), is allocated to defend America. The problem is none of that is being spent by America’s so-called “Department of Defense” to actually defend America.
Although it may not be popular to state this clear reality, this is an even bigger disgrace than any additional $65 billion spending on Ukraine.
Both SC senators voted against it, with Graham amazingly voting nay.
Chuckie and the rest of the Uniparty must be running low on cash. The whole world now knows that Ukraine is just a laundromat to wash American aid and funnel large chunks of it back to Washington lobbyists and on to the pockets of the corruptocrats who engineer the aid bills and their designees.
It would be one thing if we had a budget surplus and had $60 Billion lying around to help other countries but we don’t. We’re $34 Trillion in DEBT! These idiots in Congress want us to BORROW $60 Billion to throw down a rathole in a country where we have no strategic interests! These morons have absolutely no concept of the meaning of money. And what’s worse they (particularly the democRATS) just don’t give a damn.
