Sometimes I am required by disposition to drop to my knees in thankful and appreciative prayer for the intellectual and honest fellowship on these pages; this is one of those times.

When I describe the nature of our affiliation to those in similar networks, some of those you would likely call familiar, I am often asked why I spend so much time reviewing the commenting section of our diverse conversation on the porch. My answer is the same as the repeated emphasis I provided to those who rescued us from the Big Tech deplatforming effort… “the conversation is the point.”

You are the absolute best group of online people assembled. PERIOD. You are what makes me smile, feel optimistic, feel encouraged and positive about the future amid the whirlwind of chaos generated by the professional political class. Quite simply, you.. that’s right, YOU, are the modern WE THE PEOPLE. Feel good about that as you look at the person you see in the mirror when you brush your teeth. Give yourself credit, you are awesome.

Many left the paper blank.

Most said, “I don’t know anything about our government.” A few mentioned who the president is.

Ten years ago, I had students yammering their opinions on all sorts of political topics. I realize that usually they were parroting what they hear from family members.

I was going to try and write about this last week; however, my previously scheduled research time in Budapest, Hungary, was more critically time-urgent and stunningly more valuable.  Despite the DHS anxiety and fingerprinting upon return, I will be sharing those incredible details in a password protected post to come shortly. That said, Ad Rem made note of the Vander Plaats revelation {SEE HERE} as it highlights perfectly the fraud that is the Ron DeSantis campaign.

Yes, Ron DeSantis paid evangelical Iowa leader Bob Vander Plaats a $95,000 “indulgency fee” for his endorsement.  However, providing even more sunlight upon the nature of the U.S political apparatus, the Vander Plaats payment was not the first, or even second or third.   The club system, to construct the illusion of choice, long predates the current political race and carries multiple “indulgency fees” that are paid by professionally Republican candidates.

2011 – DAVENPORT, Iowa – An Iowa Christian conservative leader who bestowed his highly sought-after endorsement on presidential candidate Rick Santorum this week is now at the center of a controversy over whether he asked for cash in exchange for his public support.

Less than 48-hours after receiving the backing of Bob Vander Plaats, the head of the prominent evangelical group The Family Leader, Santorum disclosed that the prominent Iowan told him he needed money to make the most out of the endorsement.

And sources familiar with talks between the conservative heavyweight and representatives from several of the Republican presidential campaigns went a step further, describing Vander Plaats’ tactics as corrupt.

This is an exceptional moment of mask dropping for those of us who tried desperately to get people to understand the nature of the UniParty and Mitt Romney in 2012.  Now, Utah Senator Mitt Romney says he would vote for a Democrat, even Joe Biden, before he would vote for President Trump or Vivek Ramaswamy.

Keep in mind, Romney was the “approved Republican” in the 2012 field.  Let these remarks stand as a bold underline to the true nature of the professional UniParty in Washington DC.  “I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans, maybe not Vivek, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them,” Romney said to CBS news host Norah O’Donnell.

“I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too. I mean, it would be an upgrade from, in my opinion, from Donald Trump, and perhaps also from Joe Biden,” Romney added.  Showcasing once again how the professional GOP apparatus creates the illusion of choice through the cloistered two club system.  WATCH:

Think about the nature of what Romney is really saying here.  Vote for Chris Christie, Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis, and if not – vote for a Democrat, because they are the same.

Do not be upset about Romney’s commentary.  Instead, look at it carefully for the value it represents in trying to awaken people to the nature of the enemy that resides deep inside the Republican apparatus.

Joe Biden took gaslighting to an entirely new dimension today during remarks to brag about the recovery of U.S. supply chains during his administration tenure.

As incredible as it sounds, Joe Biden actually claimed Thanksgiving food prices were the fourth lowest in history despite the astronomical prices we pay at the grocery store.  This is economic gaslighting in the extreme as the inflationary data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics proves.
