Inspector General First Release – Chris Farrell: “I don’t think the FBI recovers from this”…

Judicial Watch Director of Investigations Chris Farrell discusses the DOJ inspector general’s report that outlines exhaustive political corruption.  OIG release #1 proving former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe authorized leaks to the media, then lied to FBI investigators in an effort to cover them up.

There are so many threads of information surrounding the 2016 operation to conduct political surveillance on the Trump campaign by various officials and offices within corrupt structures of government, it’s easy to get lost. However, if we take all the various bits of information and place them together a less confusing picture emerges.

The {Go Deep} summary outline looks like this: The FISA-702(17) ‘About Queries’; the political opposition research of Fusion-GPS, Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr and Glenn Simpson; the DOJ officials and FBI officials; the U.S. State Department and U.N Ambassador Samantha Power; the Clinton-Steele Dossier and Christopher Steele; the FISA Title-1 surveillance warrant; and the unmasking by former Senior White House officials: Lisa Monaco and Susan Rice.

Here’s the basic overview of how all those threads come together to paint a picture.

The FBI group was participating in a plan to exonerate Hillary Clinton. That same FBI group was simultaneously conducting opposition research on candidate Donald Trump and the larger construct of his campaign team. Those FBI officials were allied by entities outside official government structures. The ‘outside group’ were “contractors”. It is likely one of the contractors was Fusion-GPS or entities in contact with Fusion-GPS. {Go Deep}

The contractors were using FBI intelligence databases to conduct opposition research “searches” on Trump campaign officials. This is where the use of FISA-702(16)(17) “To/From” and “About” queries comes in. {Go Deep} This FISA abuse was the allowed but unofficial process identified in early 2016 by NSA internal auditors.

This is where NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers steps in on April 18th, 2016, and stops the FBI contractors from having any further access. {Go Deep}  FISA COURT:

{Go Deep on NSA Rogers}

No longer having access to the FBI intelligence database, April 2016, the “Small Group” needed a workaround. That’s where DOJ-NSD official Bruce Ohr, and his wife Nellie Ohr, come into play. {Go Deep}

Coincidentally(?), the following month, May 2016, U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras became a member of the FISA court. Contreras was friends with lead FBI counterintelligence agent, Peter Strzok.{Go Deep}

The DOJ side of the operation was conducted within the National Security Division (John P Carlin head). {Go Deep} The DOJ-NSD could use the NSA/FBI database and pass information to, and receive information from, Nellie Ohr.  Hence, Nellie was hired by Fusion-GPS (Glenn Simpson, and Mary Jacoby) immediately after Admiral Rogers shut down the FBI ‘contractor’ use of the system. Nellie would be the go-between.

The ongoing problem was that any information from within the FISA searches could not be directly used by the FBI because they would likely have to explain how they gained it and all search queries were illegal. This is where Fusion-GPS hires the retired British MI6 officer Christopher Steele. The FBI needed to launder the intelligence product:

Chris Steele would be the laundry for the intelligence information pulled from the U.S. system. Unauthorized FISA-702(16)(17) results were passed on to Christopher Steele, likely by Nellie Ohr. Mr. Steele would then wash the intelligence product, repackage it into what became known as his “Dossier”, and pass it back to the FBI ‘small group’ as evidence for use in their counterintelligence operation which began in July 2016 [ intentionally without congressional oversight {Go Deep}] and the subsequent ‘insurance policy‘.

Evidence of this laundry process is found in a significant “search query” result that was actually a mistake. The faulty intelligence mistake was the travel history of Michael Cohen, a long-time Trump lawyer. The FISA search turned up a Michael Cohen traveling to Prague. It was the wrong Michael Cohen. However, that mistaken result was passed on to Chris Steele and it made its way into the dossier. Absent of a FISA search, there’s no other way Christopher Steele could identify a mistaken “Michael Cohen” traveling to Prague from the Russian sources he claimed to have used for that specific point.

The Cohen mistake created a trail from Chris Steele to the FISA database. {Go Deep}

All of the unauthorized FISA-702 search queries, “To From”(16) and/or “About”(17), of the NSA/FBI database were returning results. Those results were “raw intelligence”.

That raw intelligence needed “unmasking”, that’s where the Department of State (DoS) comes in. The U.N. Ambassador is part of the DoS. Samantha Power stated she wasn’t doing the daily “unmasking” identified by the House Intelligence Committee investigation {Go Deep}. Someone, or a group of people, within the State Department, were doing unmasking requests – presumably using Ms. Power’s authority.

The collaborative process by officials within the State Department, as outlined and supported by Senator Chuck Grassley and his investigation, explains why those officials were also communicating with Christopher Steele. {Go Deep}

The assembled but highly compartmentalized reports from the DOJ-NSD, FBI-Counterintelligence, Department of State, Office of National Intelligence (Clapper) and CIA (Brennan), was then constructed to become part of President Obama’s Daily Intelligence Briefing. That’s where National Security Adviser Susan Rice comes in and her frequent unmasking of the assembled intelligence product. {Go Deep}

The Obama PDB was then redistributed internally to more than three dozen administration officials who POTUS Obama allowed to access his PDB. This includes the heads of DOJ, DOJ-NSD, FBI, FBI-counterintel, CIA, DoS, ODNI, NSA and Pentagon.

The distribution of the PDB was how each disparate member of the administration, the larger intelligence apparatus, knew of the ongoing big picture without having to assemble together for direct discussion therein. That’s Lisa Monaco and “Operation Latitude”:

Additionally, remember this from the FBI?  January 31st, 2018, […] “With regard to the House Intelligence Committee’s memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it. As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.”

FBI Asst. Director Michael Kortan (aka text message “Mike”), the head of the FBI Public Affairs Office was the one who wrote it. Kortan was part of the scheme team. FBI Director Christopher Wray fired him the following week. {Go Deep}

Additionally, we now know the FBI was leaking stories to the media to help frame favorable narratives toward their political endeavors. The leaks were coordinated by Asst. FBI Direct Andrew McCabe, communications officer Michael Kortan, legal counsel James Baker, and provided by FBI lawyer Lisa Page and FBI agent Peter Strzok to the journalists.

McCabe initially stated Director James Comey sanctioned the leaks he was authorizing. {Go Deep} However, in his first report about the matter, Inspector General Michael Horowitz outlined evidence which proved Andrew McCabe was lying.  {Go Deep}

    Peter Kadzik should be part of the small group, right? This article puts him working on the Hillary and Mrs. Weiner’s mess. Later had his own email scandal when WikiLeaks dumped Podesta’s emails and Kadzik was giving Podesta heads up on the Hillary email investigation.

    So we should always look at the wives, Kadzik’s wife is Amy Weiss. Another involved spouse like Strzok’s wife, McCabe’s wife, Bruce Ohr’s wife, etc. Worth a look.

    Kadzik’s wife, Amy Weiss, worked in the White House in the late 1990s when Podesta was then-President Bill Clinton’s chief of staff.

      This is hilarious. Taken down because Michael Cohen is a common name.

      When something like this hits the MSM, THEN it’s a big deal! Good for Fox, though.

        We keep falling for these flashy headlines. The DC establishment – bureaucrats, Senators and Congressmen… are far more concerned with worldwide opinion and preventing an avalanche of appeals – than in prosecuting one of their own.

        THAT IS WHY WE NEVER GET ANY HEADS TO ROLL…. Nunes wouldn’t pull the trigger. Gowdy is all hat and no cattle… even Napolitano frets that the reputation of the FBI is worth soft peddling on all this because the US reputation is on the line.

        THERE WILL BE NO PROSECUTIONS>>.. remember this comment

    Comey’s Last Stand For The Deep State
    By Mark Penn

    When a Clinton pollster writes an article like this – The reality of the situation is beginning to sink in. I do indeed think it’s the deep state’s last stand. The whole article is well written and hard hitting. Here are some excerpts:

    “They were among the most powerful men of the last decade. They commanded armies of armed agents, had the ability to bug and wiretap almost anyone, and had virtually unlimited budgets. They were the leadership of the FBI, the CIA and the director of national intelligence under President Obama. Each day, it becomes clearer that they are the real abusers of power in this drama.

    …The bank fraud and wire fraud charges being tossed around on Cohen are just prosecutor’s tricks. We are talking about Cohen’s home equity loan, not the laundering of Panamanian drug money. By the same logic, the undisclosed Perkins Coie payments to Fusion GPS would be money laundering and wire fraud since the payments became illegal when not reported properly.

    …Perhaps the last straw was the report in the New York Times that Mueller is investigating a $150,000 contribution to the Trump Foundation in exchange for a private video speech given by Trump in 2015, showing just how grasping this investigation has become. This is the same Ukrainian businessman who gave the Clinton Foundation $13 million. Nope, no double standard here.”

    We were sitting down watching the movie: “Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House”. It’s about the FBI during Watergate and the para;llels between FBI, CIA and White House actions are feeling a lot like Trump 1.0. It appears that despite our ‘beliefs’ that governments are chosen by voters at the polls there’s an undercurrent of appointed official interference. Sorta brings back the question of whynthere were no official, indepth investigations of the Clintons’ action surrounding Mena or Obama’s actions during those questionable periods of his life? Criminal/teasonous actions by Dermocratic presidents are of no interests while ordinary trysts by Republican presidents are of national security interest.

    Sure the FBI will survive, just as it has other scandals it couldn’t contain. There’s a line in ‘Mark Felt’ where that question’s asked and the reply’s basically that the nation’s too divided and crime sotted and we can’t afford to not have a police department; however, even if you don’t believe that believe that the Hoover Doctrine of having private dirt on anyone with any degree of power is still in force. I believe that if it becomes necessary that dirt will be brought out and the targets convinced of the Bureau’s importance…or the dirt ‘leaks’ into the public domain. And the progs who see their agenda advanced by the Bureau are part of that cross-political ‘extremism in the defense of liberty’ thinking. Like the Tsar’s Okhrana the American bullshitvics will support it in its excesses as it serves their needs and then, when their agenda is achieved, replace it with their version of the Bureau. Opps, goota go, I’m late taking my paranoia meds.

    This whole situation makes me wonder why in the world did the Dems put Hillary in the front runner position to be the democrat candidate? Anyone would have been better than this career criminal who spent her adult life selling the US to foreign dictators and oligarchs.

    I guess it goes to show you how much corruption there was within the Obama administration that they didn’t even trust another dem to not rat them out once they got in the White House and discovered all these crimes.

    After all, Joe Biden himself said he decided not to run in 2016 because he couldn’t “answer all the questions.”

      Because IMO the Clintons had dirt on everyone, and Sanders was allowed to compete for the Democratic nomination because his candidacy would pull the Democratic Party to the left, which is really where Clinton wanted to go (as long as she got a piece of the action). I just don’t think HRC understands or will ever comprehend how unpopular she was and is.

      Don’t overlook the glitter and gleam of “The First Woman President”(TM)

      That, alone, had a lot of pull among Democrats and particularly among women.

      Look no farther than Comey’s own wife and daughters and all the other Pu$$y Paraders – oops, Marchers – who came out in multitudes to wail and moan and pout when it didn’t happen.

      Among any other Democrat contenders, Hillary had that “The First Woman President”(TM) expectation far more. Especially after being aced out by the Kenyan in 2008. That was a nice little sleight of hand that put her past her “sell by” date.

      But, yeah – that woman thing.

      It was “her turn”(TM)

      NO ONE is going to “get the bastards”….. Nunes couldn’t pull the trigger. the two top guys on the house INtel committee are gone or leaving… because they KNOW .. the fix is always in.

      This isn’t about justice or punishment… the bottom line for everyone involved is how to save the reputation of the FBI and DOJ … to the GREATER WORLDWIDE audience.

      AND be sure no former cases are appealed because corruption was discovered.

      Lacked Candor is the best we are going to get. McCabe got fired, but will not be prosecuted. Ditto for all the others quietly moved around. THE ENTIRE DC bureaucracy is circling the wagons trying to appear steadfast in the face of so much corruption… without punishing anyone.

      MARK THESE WORDS. The larger reputation of the American justice system is on display … and everyone working in DC has a stake in hiding the dirty linen – without it appearing to be so.

    Once more, the IG report will out in late November (17′)….due to new information and further review needed, the IG Report from IG Horowitz will be delayed until mid December…(17′). Because of the new findings and revelations discovered by the IG Horowitz in his efforts to come to some kind of conclusion, the IG report will hopefully be wrapped up by January end, 2018. Because of new revelations discovered by the IG Horowitz and the insistence of Congress’s Oversight committee submitting new information, it appears the appointed IG Horowitz report will be, once again delayed until mid February (18′). Sessions has appointed an outside council, Huber, to investigate (whatever) and IG Horowitz report is scheduled to be released by end of March (18′). Horowitz, the appointed IG investigating the apparent COLLUSION by the FBI to undermine the Trump presidency, has confirmed that Andrew McCabe has been fired from his position (but he still gets his hefty retirement, no jail time) due to his lying to Congress under oath and not under oath …BUT the complete Horowitz report will not be made public until Climate Change has been proven true, Obama and his thugs are all proven without complicity, and Comey runs for President and wins….and then we might see the IG’s report in its entirety…which will be buried in stacks of new regulations.
    I’m soooo weary of all this I am not listening to the news for a month. Only solace I have is that I truly think that those voters that DO NOT pay any attention to the minutiae of all this will only see what Trump has done good and is working and will vote their pocket book as usual.

      NOTHING is going to happen. Both sides have a stake in preserving the “good name” of the FBI…. and world opinion factors into why DC never punishes the guilty.

      Mr and Mrs average conservative thinks justice will prevail. It’ won’t. Because the FEDS can’t afford to have hundreds and thousands of appeals, claiming fraud, abuse, shaky evidence, ethics, and procedures.

      Remember Ken Starr… he had all the same tools and power of Mueller… but he never used them. Just the low hanging fruit with the Clinton’s could have put them away for life, or got them the needle.

      BUT AGAIN… cooler heads always prevail…. everyone at that level concerns themselves with America’s reputation as a beacon to lesser nations… we can’t have anyone discover that we are no better than Albania, or Uganda.

      WE ARE UGANDA…. our justice department, courts and FBI operate with the same heavy handed corruption… only we have better visuals and Hollywood churns out damage control.

      NOTHING WILL CHANGE…. McCabe lacked candor…. that is all we will get.
