Happy Anniversary.

Yes, can you believe it’s been a year since Treehouse 2.0 was launched after WordPress/Automattic kicked us off their platform for being too successful.  What a ride… Hey, whatever it takes!

As we pass the first anniversary of CTH 2.0, we are also resyncing the optimized site to new expanded and higher performance servers today.  Most of the files have been migrated and tested, however we need a final resync to finish the process.

As the site is resynced to the upgraded server container, there may be a few minutes, possibly hours, where the site is unavailable.  We will be pointing the DNS (Domain Name System) to the new server container and it can take a while to repopulate the address to the new destination throughout the global web.

At first I thought this was a parody of news media outlooks.  However, once I saw the article [ABC News] I realized it was not a spoof; it’s very real.

The San Francisco news desk of ABC7 actually has a position called “race and social justice reporter” who claims the term “looting” is a politically and culturally incorrect way to describe the looting that has been taking place over the past several days.  However, I’m not exactly sure of the journalist’s qualifications for reporting, because he also claims not to be able to see the race of the people doing the actual looting.  WATCH:

… In order for the ideological leftists to continue advancing their insane ideology, they have to pretend not to know things. Race and social justice reporter Julian Glover is certainly proving that point by pretending not to see who is doing the robberies.

Eh, this is awkward… and simultaneously so typical of the current administration.   The White House trotted Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to the microphones today to tell the DC stenographers how brilliant, beneficial and strategically necessary it is to release 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to lower gasoline prices.  The enthusiastic Energy Secretary read the script, gave her talking points and then took questions.

However, after spending 15 minutes talking about the strategic brilliance of the 50 million barrel release, one of the stenographers accidentally asked: “that said, how many barrels of oil do U.S. consumers use every day?”…   Granholm paused, looked down and said: “I don’t have that number in front of me, I’m sorry“…  WATCH:

The Black Lives Matter terrorist who killed five and wounded 20 is having his first court hearing today at 5:00pm ET.  Brooks will have his preliminary hearing in Wisconsin under the careful control of the U.S. Dept of Justice Community Relations Service (DOJ-CRS) who oversee all U.S. criminal cases when race is identified as the underlying motive for an attack. The primary concern for the CRS, aka ‘federal peacekeepers‘ is control over the national media narrative.  The techniques behind the court order are familiar.

Something troubling is happening in Scotland.  At least 21 babies under four weeks old died in September, a rate of 4.9 per 1,000 births.  The former average was 2.1 deaths per 1,000 births.  The nationalized health service tracks records, because everyone is on the same system; that’s why when an internal alarm is triggered by the data as it rolls in, they stop and look immediately.  Public Health Scotland says:

“Exceeding the upper control limit indicates there is a higher likelihood that there are factors beyond random variation that may have contributed to the number of deaths.”

For the past few weeks, rumors have been swirling about Nancy Pelosi traveling to the free state of Florida to view property for another home [link].   Everyone knows if Democrats get crushed in the 2022 mid-terms, she will exit congress faster than a fat kid playing dodge ball.  Pelosi was spotted on the same flight as Marjorie Taylor Greene [link], and then spotted again looking at a specific $25 million beach estate [link].

Obviously, it would be a little hypocritical for Speaker Pelosi to politically rail against the policies of Governor Ron DeSantis and yet support those policies with a physical move to the state.  However, that said, Democrats -particularly those in political leadership- are notorious for double standards.

John Cardillo indicates Speaker Pelosi has purchased this specific home on Jupiter Island:

There’s a lot of speculation, and not any specific evidence to support the claims.   Here is a LINK to the listing, which does show the home has recently changed to “pending” status.   The home sold in 2015 for $15 million and was then put up for sale again this year in May for $25 million.  That gives you an idea how rapid the home values in Florida have risen in the past few years.

If Pelosi has purchased that house, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will have a fun talking point in his reelection campaign; especially because the official Democrat funding mechanisms (Democrat Governors Association) have admitted it would be futile to try and defeat DeSantis – they ain’t wasting money trying.

Apparently the people behind Joe Biden realize the ridiculous prices at the gas pump are going to be a major political issue for them in the next election. As a result, they have decided to release 50 million barrels of oil from the strategic petroleum reserve (SPR), enough for approximately 3 days of demand. [Announcement Here]

The strategic reserve is intended as an emergency supply in the event of war or national crisis that demands we have some insurance measures to protect ourselves. The SPR is the world’s largest supply of emergency crude oil, and the oil stocks are stored in underground salt caverns at four storage sites in Texas and Louisiana.

The oil in the strategic oil reserve was previously paid for by taxpayers. What Biden is doing right now is giving reserve oil to energy companies who then turn around and refine it into gasoline for taxpayers to purchase. We get to buy it twice, and Biden wants to be thanked for doing it.

The Biden administration is going to lower gas prices for taxpayers by allowing taxpayers to purchase their own oil.  Brilliant!

In related news, the Biden administration also held a call today [LINK] to announce their plan to ease inflation by printing more money.
