Harmeet Dhillon’s Partner at the RNC, Henry Barbour, Fails to Get Resolution Passed to Ban Paying Trump Legal Fees

Trying to convince people is an endless quest, that’s why it is better to just lay out the truth without agenda, then wait until the predictable pressure builds and it just floats to the surface and people find it.  The truth has no agenda; remember that!

You might remember as you read this that Henry Barbour is Harmeet Dhillon’s RNC compatriot.  Then, suddenly, things from last year in California will start to make sense.

(Via The Hill) – The Republican National Committee (RNC) failed to earn enough support from states to bring a resolution to ban paying former President Trump’s legal bills to a vote.

Henry Barbour, who serves as Mississippi’s national committeeman, confirmed to several news outlets that the resolutions he drafted that would have prohibited the committee from covering the former president’s growing legal bills is dead.

The RNC is meeting Friday in Houston to elect a new chair after former Chair Ronna McDaniel announced she would resign on March 8.

Barbour confirmed to Politico that the resolution is “dead” and won’t be voted on during Friday’s meeting because he only received co-sponsors from eight out of 10 required states to bring the resolution to a vote. (read more)

Nikki Haley Quits U.S. Presidential Race – DC Supporters Consider Alternative Role, President of Ukraine

With teeth clinched in her familiar -albeit annoying- style of elocution, the Republican with the most support from Democrats drops out of the presidential primary.

Nikki Haley now has the option to run as presidential replacement for Volodymyr Zelensky.

Thus, the final chapter in the billionaire Sea Island donor effort to eliminate Donald Trump comes to an end. As traditional amid the character trait of the professional liars and manipulators, Haley refused to endorse Trump and indicated she never intended to adhere to the endorsement pledge of the Republican Party. Thus, the way of the DeceptiCon RATs continues.

The exit theme she read from the provided script of her departure remarks was the same as her intro theme.  Haley declaring her primary qualification was her gender.  The script she read was not written by her, and Haley’s delivery was as awkward as one would expect.  WATCH:

WASHINGTON – […] In brief remarks, Haley declined to endorse Trump, as most of her other GOP primary rivals have already done, instead urging him to give her more moderate-minded supporters a reason to back him in November.

“It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond who did not support him,” Haley said to reporters assembled at her campaign headquarters in Daniel Island, South Carolina. “And I hope he does that. At its best, politics is about bringing people into your cause, not turning them away. And our conservative cause badly needs more people. This is now his time for choosing.”

Listen to the Way He Says It – John Thune: “I hope to be” Senate Majority Leader

This is an interesting response to the question of whether South Dakota Senator John Thune intends to seek the position of senate majority leader.  Listen to the way he says it and the transparency of the long-discussed plan is crystal clear {GO DEEP, 2022WATCH:

We have written about this plan for several years.  Mitch McConnell personally groomed Thune for the position and has introduced him to all the key financial players that keep the DeceptiCons (Deceptive Conservatives) in office.   GO DEEP and GO DEEP

Thune talks about assuming the role as the natural outcome of his time with McConnell.  Unfortunately, almost all the GOPe Republicans will support this passing of the baton.  The only thing that makes the Deep State professional Republicans nervous, is the potential for President Donald Trump to intercede in the anointing.

Super Tuesday Voting – Ground Reports and Open Discussion Thread

Today is officially Super Tuesday in primary voting. Consider this an open discussion thread specific to what is taking place at the precincts where you are voting.

Specifically, it is interesting to note the intensity -or lack thereof- of the voting base in your neighborhood, town, city or hamlet. What is happening and do you feel a sense of involvement permeating or is general complacency the status quo? In every election cycle your ground reports are the most accurate gauge of the sense of the voting base. This one is important.

For the Republican primary, 874 of 2,429 total delegates will be awarded today. The winning candidate, almost certain to be Donald Trump, ultimately needs 1,215 delegates to capture the nomination.

President Trump has already won 244 delegates from the early voting contests (Via AP), so MAGA -represented by Trump- needs roughly 1,000 more to capture the nomination and dispatch this nonsense with Nikki Haley.

For the Democrats, 1,421 delegates are up for grabs representing roughly a third of all ordinary delegates. The Super Delegates, who control the outcome, are decided later at the convention….. which I predict will be the real test of what the Democrats have in mind. Remember, Biden needs 1,969 delegates to officially win the nomination, and/or then pass the baton to the ultimate candidate (strongly plausible).

Donald Trump Public Support Polling Far Exceeds Average Republican Candidate

There is a strange dynamic with professionally political punditry and political media where they project claims that are the exact opposite of the reality. Often this is done simply to try and sway public opinion on an issue, to change and/or control the perception of the public, and sometimes it is successful.

Highlighting this false projection, a common refrain against President Trump has been that he limits the scale of support possible for Republican candidates. In reality, the exact opposite is true and evident in the data. It is President Trump who holds more public support than any Republican candidate, and they all ride his coattails.

When you really think about this dynamic, it centers the Machiavellian attacks against Trump by small professionally Republican pundits and candidates. Take the recent example of battleground state Pennsylvania as an example:

[Source Data]

President Trump is beating Joe Biden in this battleground state poll by 6 points.  However, the Republican Senate candidate, Dave McCormick, is running 7 points behind the Democrat Bob Casey.   The combined margin of difference is 13 points, or put another way – Trump pulls more support within the state than the Republican Party.

The Pennsylvania reality shows the scale of how much the Republican Party is now the party of Donald Trump.  The dynamic makes sense, because the overwhelming majority of middle class average Americans align with the policy agenda simply known as “America First.”

Ronna McDaniel Exits RNC?

According to the New York Times, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel will exit from her position as head of the RNC immediately following the South Carolina primary.

The RNC has been a source of anxiety for most MAGA voters due to multiple issues, including the lack of effort on ballot harvesting and voter integrity initiatives.  In multiple states and multiple races, there isn’t even a Republican candidate challenging the incumbent Democrat. That’s also a problem.

(New York Times) – The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has told former President Donald J. Trump she is planning to step down shortly after the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24, according to two people familiar with the plans.

Mr. Trump is then likely to promote the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, Michael Whatley, as her replacement, according to several people familiar with the discussions. Under the arcana of the committee’s rules, however, Mr. Trump cannot simply install someone. A new election must take place, and Mr. Whatley could face internal party dissent.

Ms. McDaniel has faced months of pressure, a campaign from Trump-allied forces to unseat her and growing dissatisfaction and anxiety in the Trump camp about the strained finances of the R.N.C. as the general election cycle begins early.

Comparison of Spending Priorities of RNC and DNC Raises Eyebrows

I have continually said, “The DNC wants powerThe RNC wants moneyThe DNC uses money to get powerThe RNC uses power to get money. The ideology of the DNC drives their donor activity. The donor activity of the RNC drives their ideology. This is the difference between the two clubs, two wings of the same vulture.”

The only thing the RNC care about is getting money from their multinational corporate owners.  Raising money is the sole function of the RNC.  Raising money is not the means to an end, it is the end itself.  Apparently, people are starting to catch on:

(Via Gateway Pundit) -Here’s a breakdown of the spending categories between the RNC and the DNC:

Floral Arrangements:
RNC: $70,328.00
DNC: $795

Consultants:
RNC: $1,078,279.47
DNC: $114,000

Office Supplies:
RNC: $297,717.64
DNC: $45,005

Limousines:
RNC: $263,127.25
DNC: $7,000

How RINO Is Texas? – Almost 1 in 5 Support Nikki Haley

There’s always this interesting debate within Republican circles about the State of Texas.  The essential question is always about whether Texas is really ‘conservative’, like Ken Paxton, or whether Texas is really more akin to approved Bush type Republicans like Greg Abbott and Chip Roy.

The consistently debated issue surfaced most recently with the attempted impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton; which was, not coincidentally, led by the Bush clan of Republicans within the state.

A recent poll from the University of Houston may provide some data for an answer.  [DATA HERE] Approximately 1 out of 5 (20%) of the state Republican electorate would support a nomination of Nikki Haley.  The other 80% support Donald Trump.

[Data Here]

However, it should be noted that while “Bush Republicans” represent about 20% of the Texas Republican voting base, the “Bush Republicans” represent approximately one-half of all statewide elected Republican officials.  This 50/50 Republican split is very similar to the distribution curve we see in Washington DC.

University of Houston – […]  In the March 2024 Texas Republican presidential primary election, Donald Trump holds a more than 60 percentage point lead over Nikki Haley, 80% to 19%.

Trump’s vote intention is highest among likely Republican primary voters whose highest level of educational attainment is a high school degree or less (91%) or a two-year degree or some college (87%) and who are a born-again Christian (88%) and who are Latino (86%). (more)

Michael Patrick Leahy – Sources: The Jeff DeWit “Message Came From The NRSC” aka Mitch McConnell

Michael Patrick Leahy appears on Steve Bannon War Romm discussing, in part, the Jeff DeWit message to Kari Lake and who from “back east” was the originator of the message to bribe Mrs Lake to stay out of the Arizona senate race.   {Direct Rumble Link}

As expected, the sources for MPL’s report outline that Mitch McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Committee originated the proposal.  This should not be a surprise to anyone who reads CTH.   The NRSC is primarily funded by the biggest lobbying group, the U.S Chamber of Commerce.  The USCoC fund the legislative priorities of the Senate and Mitch McConnell does their bidding.  In essence the bribe money would come from the USCoC into the NRSC.  WATCH:
