Today is officially Super Tuesday in primary voting. Consider this an open discussion thread specific to what is taking place at the precincts where you are voting.
Specifically, it is interesting to note the intensity -or lack thereof- of the voting base in your neighborhood, town, city or hamlet. What is happening and do you feel a sense of involvement permeating or is general complacency the status quo? In every election cycle your ground reports are the most accurate gauge of the sense of the voting base. This one is important.
For the Republican primary, 874 of 2,429 total delegates will be awarded today. The winning candidate, almost certain to be Donald Trump, ultimately needs 1,215 delegates to capture the nomination.
President Trump has already won 244 delegates from the early voting contests (Via AP), so MAGA -represented by Trump- needs roughly 1,000 more to capture the nomination and dispatch this nonsense with Nikki Haley.
For the Democrats, 1,421 delegates are up for grabs representing roughly a third of all ordinary delegates. The Super Delegates, who control the outcome, are decided later at the convention….. which I predict will be the real test of what the Democrats have in mind. Remember, Biden needs 1,969 delegates to officially win the nomination, and/or then pass the baton to the ultimate candidate (strongly plausible).
After MAGA exposed the RNC “splitter scheme” in California, the CA Republican Party then changed their rules allowing the candidate who captures over 50% of the vote to be the one who will receive all of the state’s 169 Republican delegates. With the Republican primary as a two-person race between Trump and Haley, Trump is likely to win all of California’s delegates – which is good, because we need to grind Haley into the pulp of irrelevance. Let her campaign as a Democrat on behalf of the Deep State – ::spit::.
With a for sale sign on her back, Haley has been obtuse about her plans after today. Many traditional pollsters expect her to quit if she is crushed. She has won only Washington DC, which is a story of sunlight by itself, so Haley will have a hard time trying to make an argument for continuing. But she’s a teeth talker, so who knows what that clenched and insufferable creature will do. Again – ::spit::.
So, what is happening in your area? If you live in any of the aforementioned states, let us know. Trust me, there are people around the world watching, not just in the USA.
Voted here in California. No big fan of the GOP out here, but I’ll vote for Steve Garvey if he faces Schiff in the senate race in November.
So CA is strict uniparty GOPe/RINO’s plus Dems. That sucks. In reality the true Conservatives w/ MAGA are like what 10-15% of Total R’s? In terms of seated congress critters that is – not campaign slogans. Like oxygen % – slim #’s between life, death and unextinguishable fire.
Hard to believe but many Republicans that you talk to don’t bother to vote. They say it’s a waste of time!!!
I have never seen the polling place in my area so busy.
As I have posted before, I have to deal with utopian, statist, collectivists on a daily basis and at least anecdotally I have seen so much angst among them.
Even a moron knows that spending $1 trillion dollars every 100 days is not going to bode well.
Look at Schiff, people are either absolutely braindead in California or the cheat is in so strong that voting no longer matters.
I suspect the latter.
He’s been in office since 2001 and things have turned to shyte nationally and locally in that time. He had a POC die at his residence of a drug overdose. Any rational person is still waiting for his evidence of Trump’s Russian collusion, meaning he never had any.
In short you would have to have one brain cell or be a utopian, statist, collectivist to vote for the guy.
Trump wins NC…
I cast my vote for PDJT today in NC. That was very satisfying-to see his name (among all those otherwise awful choices) -and make the selection.
Trump wins AL…
And is now ahead in Vermont.
NYT claiming Haley will win VT by 2 points??
She will win – it’s clearly the set up spoiler. Are D’s allowed to cross vote I wonder. No possibly way its 50/50% AMONG R’s.
Transparently a fix.
Vermont has open primaries.
Breaking News from Oklahoma:
As of this moment, the leader is…
Chris Christie
1,848+22.2%
22.2%
—Nikki Haley
1,617+19.4%
19.4
—Donald J. Trump
1,386+16.7%
16.7
Chris Christie! 😀 😀 😀
It’s an error because it shows the same number for ALL counties.
They fixed it now. Testing stuff I guess….
Bummer! I was thinking of all kinds of hilarious memes if that held. 😀
Testing cheating software I would guess.
Oklahoma called for Trump.
Trump wins Maine (Decision Desk)…
Trump wins OK…
Trump wins TN (Decision Desk)…
Decision Desk HQ projects Mark Robinson wins the Republican primary for North Carolina’s gubernatorial election.
This is going to be the greatest governor’s race EVAH!
In MA thus far, uncommitted are 22% and Biden is just 69%.
y’know, I wonder if any person in the history of the world has received more votes in political elections than Donald Trump? His two previous presidential runs garnered him over 137 million votes compared to Obama’s two elections which garnered him slightly less than 136 million. Then throw in all the primaries and I’m sure Mr. Trump is well over 140 million actual real votes cast by American citizens. Of course, all of this for naught if we don’t win this fall…WOLVERINES!
Trump endorsed Timothy Moore wins Republican Primary in North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District.
So does that give us 1 more majority in Congress? That would be a good thing!
Oh dang, where is my brain – it’s a primary. D’oh! 🤣🤣🤣
Voted in north Austin, TX, around 1:00 pm. No waiting. Two Dem election judges, one GOP election judge, and one non-judge officiating. I asked if any of the voting machines, or the vote tabulator, was connect to the internet, and they all said no. Was given a paper ballot, inserted it into the voting machine, made my votes, and it then ejected the ballot with my choices correctly printed. Inserted it into the tabulator, which gobbled it up. Took an “I voted” sticker, and departed. Saw a few more people approaching as I was leaving.
When is Nimrata’s victory speech from her garage?
Backdrop of classified docs boxes maybe?
Isn’t that what the left wing of the UniParty vulture (she’s on it!) uses their garages for?
Vermont is neck and neck at 49 to 48 with 32% in.

Harris county (Houston) Texas unofficial election results

I voted Trump at about 7:05 this morning, on my way to work.
I was very tempted to ask for a ballot for the Legalize Marijuana Now party so that I could say that I once voted for Vermin Supreme, but I didn’t.
In 2016, I was the only person openly supporting Trump at my caucus and county convention. I’m pretty sure that my county is going to go 95% for Trump, and most of them by now have forgotten that they didn’t like him 8 years ago.
Colorado just called it for PDJT!
Am sitting in my southwest UT precinct caucus. Our region is the most conservative in the state. There’s at least 4 to 5 times more people attending than four years ago.
At R caucus in Utah (south of Salt Lake County which is purple, in a solid red county)
The room has more people than 2 years ago.
I stood at door and signed folks in
Folks are energized (I wasn’t here 4 years ago).
Our county is doing a “presidential poll” precinct by precinct on a paper ballot being hand-counted in the back of the room, they’re going to announce the winner of our poll in the room at the end of the meeting.
Smart group of people here… we shall see who wins but I don’t think folks here are buying Nikkis B.S.
Nikki won… I guess everyone wants their kids to go fight in Russia
Smdh
Higher than average number of 50+ voters in my precinct area. In 2020 it was trending towards purplish based on voter registrations.
While voting today I noted that the ballot stacks were greatly skewed – the red stack of ballots were 80% gone. The blue stack was barely touched. Poll worker indicated it was that way their entire shift. No signs of any illegal voters.
The counts coming in tonight reflect the ballot stacks – across the board deep red and in the presidential primary very strongly PDJT – no indication of any crossovers (unless they voted PDJT). Red to blue vote totals are almost 4 to 1 in the presidential primary. Brandon’s percentage of votes on the blue side was lower than PDJT’s on the red as well.
If things in the fall follow suit, Brandon will be absolutely slaughtered and the area’s vote will be a brilliant deep red irrespective of voter registration.
Massachusetts – in a very “limousine liberal” town. Voted at 10AM, about 4 other voters there. No line, checked in quick. Two sign holders near the parking lot, both for local candidates. There was a young man near the front door along with what I assume was his mom because she was taking pictures of him. He held a handwritten sign with blabber I couldn’t read with my old eyes and whispered “Vote no preference” (didn’t your mom teach you to speak up?) – the only “No preference” option on the ballots was on the Presidential primaries.
San Diego county suburbs in California ground report:
Automatic mail-in ballots sent to our house. We went to the polling location today anyway.
Check-in process included filling out a form with our name, address, party affiliation. I was registered non partisan so I flipped to republican to bump new registration numbers and to vote for 45 in the primary.
No ID check at all. Our mail-in ballots were ripped up and we were registered for touch screen voting. We voted and there was a printed paper ballot that was then submitted to the ballot box.
Turnout wasn’t that high. Most people seemed to be in status quo mode as far as voting.
The whole process is flawed at every step. Ballot harvesting is legal in California. Mandatory mail-in ballots sent to all registered voters. Unsecured drop boxes. No ID check at polling locations. Computer based voting which is vulnerable as well all know.
In 2020 and 2022 there were lots of games with delayed vote counting so that D’s beat R’s in red districts. I expect games in 2024 as well. We continue to vote though in the hopes the numbers beat the corruption.
Worked the polls in NC rural, red area getting squeezed by rising real estate tax valuations due to our proximity to Charlotte.
Lots of dirty fingernails and muddy boots in my precinct today. Hardworking folks. We always have really good turnout. Today was just over 50%. Which is pretty good.
Folks here are all hot about the new property tax revaluation that just went out. The Pols are allowing themselves to value our homes at 100%value and unless they drop rates soon, folks gonna get wiped out with huge tax bills. They spend money like drunken sailors.
Interesting observations:
1) the NC good old boy RINO network has resorted to deception ( as usual) they stood outside polls all day handing out voter guides that were same color and almost the same name as the MAGA We The People volunteers. The RINOS called themselves “We are the People” I saw many folks clutching both yellow voter guides. But when I saw that Marc Robinson won our precinct, I knew my precinct was not fooled. All the We the People/MAGA candidates won my precinct.
2) 40 Democrats voted today. 22 voted for Biden. 18 voted No Preference.
Trump wins Arkansas
Earlier today, after lunch but before close of business, our polling place was nearly empty.
I only want to report on a new feature I saw when we went to get our ballot.
The registrars had a gizmo on the table. You had to have a picture ID, period, PM preferably a Drivers license. My wife and I both have “star card” verified DLs.
They took our DLs and placed them in the gizmo so the barcode on the back could be read.
Up came on a screen all our voting registration info, address, polling place etc.
We had to press a blue accept button, then use a rubber tipped screen stylus to sign our names.
Total voter ID verification.
Only then were we given a ballot to mark, and feed into the scanner.
If poor old backwater Alabama can do it, anywhere ought to be able to do it.
Listening Georgia?
Stood in line for almost TWO HOURS Tuesday night … from sometime after 6:30 PM until about 8:30 PM … this in a suburb north of Dallas …. many supporters of various repub primary candidates ‘working the line’ up and down as we all waited and spirits seemed good … could not wait to ‘pull the lever’ for DJT when it came time to vote.
In my little hamlet outside of the major city of The Last Frontier turnout was strong. 💪 Lots of quiet determined Patriots.
Gascon is leading in his re-election bid for DA of LA. I have seen NOTHING from him asking for votes leading up to the election, and any time his name is mentioned, it’s with disgust and a “ptoooey!!” spit ball. His no-bail release-em-all back into the streets mindset is a disaster to the point that businesses are hiring Security with big guns when they’re not closing entirely, and malls are mandating “yoots” be accompanied by an adult over 21, trying to prevent amok rioting. I cannot believe this person is on the verge of being re-elected … and the results stink.
