I am sure, the US is really, really irritated, but has to save face by saying it will be good. They are probably already working hard to try to undermine it. There are so many threads that this un-winds. (The fact that Saudi Arabia has agreed to trade in currencies other than the dollar last month was a real opening to the global south and Asia.)
Iran will gain some relief from western sanctions that will help their people. It opens the possibility of Iran and Saudi Arabia joining the BRICS alliance. It also might bring an end to the war in Yemen. And the alliance might calm down a few of the Iran-hawks like Israel which has been pushing the US to join them in a war against Iran.

This is standard procedure before actual hot operations (see Nordstream pipeline, Covid-19 response, etc, etc).
I don’t see Israel making big moves against Iran at this point. The one good thing that could come out of this is if China required Iran to give up nuclear weapons to get this deal.
The need for Iran to have nuclear weapons will be somewhat lessened by this agreement. If Saudi Arabia and BRICS are supporting Iran, then Iran doesn’t need nuclear weapons as a deterrent.
The only reason to have nuclear weapons would be to prevent the western nuclear powers destroying Iran. If Iran is allied with other nuclear powers like China and Russia, it is less likely to be attacked by western nuclear powers.
If anything, China will aid Iran’s nuclear program.
It would not be in their interest for the world to have another nuclear power. They have North Korea to play the proxy for them.
Could it be said that maybe, just maybe, we have become the great Satan Iran has always accused us of being.

There is a real possibility of a color revolution in Iran. Remember the “women’s protests” a couple of months ago that were being stirred by US NGO’s and US government people? It didn’t work too well because on Saturday, February 11, 2023 the people of Iran held a demonstration in support of their government – 20 million people in the streets waving flags of Iran and hand-made signs.
The term “Color Revolution” is more well known in the Middle East and other countries than in the US and EU.

I saw him and his wife visiting the people after the earthquake. It was touching. Then when he was having a press conference recently – laughing when trying to explain to the people how some people in the US believe a child is not born male or female that they can choose what they want to be when they are older. All the things most of us agree are horrible in our society he was telling them…it was true how he described us . I cringed ..he spoke the truth.
The internet is a double edged sword. Good and bad. One of the good things is that instead of just seeing a clip of people from our media we have the opportunity to see a different view. Now we also have to determine if it’s a photo op or not. And watch long and closely enough to format our own opinion.
From reports I have read and comments even by China recently that basically validate the reports… we are stealing from Syria 80% of the oil being pumped from them.
I do not believe that is what President Trump intended. We were to guard it-not steal the oil.

Its really not right to just suspect someone is a troll, because they point out some uncomfortable truths. Then you make yourself just like those whom you criticize. I am no traitor and no troll; I do however have serious questions about why President Trump STILL holds on to the pretended accomplishments of “operation warp speed”??? Has he not heard or read anything in the last two and a half years, what all that really was about? And HE funded it! And He still supports getting the jab! And he did not follow through on all his promises, “Trust the plan.” Why didn’t he recognize Pence for the slimy traitor he OBVIOUSLY was from the beginning? Why was he so adept at hiring and surrounding himself with back stabbing establishment fakes? Why didn’t he call in the Marines when it was his call to do it?
I have a lot of questions that probably won’t get answered in this life. If Trump does get on the ballot, I am absolutely going to vote for him; because I do like him, and I believe he is really a good man. But there needs to be something very radically done to make up for the losses of the first Presidency.

Some thoughts occurred me, spurred by what you and others had posted. Maybe a bit of insight from elsewhere as well.
One can conceive of cartels of a sort, directing events historically to benefit themselves to the detriment of most or even all the rest of the world.
You would not do so directly as that would be more exposure then it might be worth for success. If you imagined how you would go about changing the world, you’d would need tools for that. Intermediaries, agents, thralls, pawns, call it what you will.
To do so on the scale of the world you need great powers for the needed influence to move the world. Entire nations, even empires built up in order to alter the path of humanity over as many generations. So you end up building up world powers and moving them as you would pieces on a chess board by controlling the actions of the ones wielding the political power.
One can leverage many millions, billions even, by manipulating the right ones in positions of influence.
Centralization of power only makes this easier for them.
CREDIT is the key; control a man, a country or the World, by controlling the credit.
Many who didn’t want to, took the shot because of an employer mandate.
