The issue inside Iran is essentially: 50,000 extremist clerics and IRGC members are holding 90 million people as hostages to a fanatical religious regime. Hopefully the economic oil embargo will eventually begin to fray this Gordian Knot.
In the last two weeks, President Trump has forcefully and publicly been pushing back against the aggressive posture of Israel. While the Arab partners in the region are aligned with Trump on the issue of “extremism” and radicalism, thereby supporting the confrontation with Iranian religious extremists – those same regional partners also consider Israeli conduct in Gaza and Lebanon as religious “extremism.”
STATEMENT OF PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP:
“Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.” ~ President DONALD J. TRUMP
The totality of the intelligence chatter must be overwhelming.

Until there’s some kind of armed opposition on the ground in Iran, the extremists will likely keep holding the population hostage. Those wack jobs aren’t going to just surrender their hold on power
As much as I respect ORG, I think during this day & age, we cut off the money & the crazy imams collapse. Hard to argue with a Mom & Dad trying to feed their hungry children even for the “whack jobs.”
The 50K are also trapped by the oil well situation costing them 500 million per day. If they reach the point of having to shut off the wells it will take, or so I heard, months to bring them back.
Clock is ticking on the mullahs and their terrorists. How many days left?
I suspect that even if the oil wells are shut off, per President Trump, the oil tankers will come here to refill with oil we sell so maybe that is a point that has been considered in the plan for all this.
Will be curious if the Iranian army decides that they’ve had enough of the current leadership. They are not on the best of terms with the IRGC to begin with.
That is the key. It was the Pakistani Field Marshal – military – that spent 3 days in Iran trying to talk some sense into the IRGC. The Iranian military has weapons too. Military coups are common, see Thailand and Brazil for example.
That will decide the whole matter, although I don’t know how separate the “army” is from the IRGC. I would assume all senior command at least is made up of IRGC, but I don’t know for sure.
They have just changed sides to the crown prince. The IRGC now have a civil war as well as a war against the US and Israel. They are finished!
That would be unfortunate for them-and their country- if true.
I don’t know if what you say is true or conjecture but I do not doubt that the Crown would have made the effort to turn the IRGC to their side. But Persians aren’t stupid and without the oil revenue and increasing threats of infrastructure demolition they can see The Crown is a paper tiger and the US is offering a better deal.
The IRGC will face bloody civil war against them if they choose poorly.
Reading this thread I suspect this is THE battle happening behind the scenes.
Persians are proud with a rich history. If The Tampon King is smart, he will come to Trump with a deal to make billions on keeping the peace rather profiting off instability. They have lost that war.
Sadly, Prince Charles does not seem smart!
Burns, you make a key distinction and a valid point that aligns with Trump’s repeated statement that the US will not be involved in regime change. Regime change must be a natural progression from within.
It’s not if, but when elements of the Iranian army start to stand up against the IRGC, then the people will support the Army. It’s over for the remainder of the fanatics.
The Panicans and propagandists and TDS sufferers over the last two weeks have jumped back and forth between contradicting talking points, trying to push a narrative; however, for anyone paying attention, you see a very well-thought-out plan.
Patience is a virtue and showing patience in this regard shows the people of Iran, not the extremists, that this is for them.
You and what army?
Key words in any conflict. I think the IRGC is a big key to unlock the door.
I’m sure it’s more complicated because they are hated and their loyalties will be divided. But they have families too.
I’m sure they would prefer to become a “real” army for a “real”country, instead of just thugs for wack jobs and globalist gamers.
The IRGC are religious fanatics. I suspect they must be overcome with force, not reason. I seriously doubt that they want to become a real army. I think they want their 72 virgins.
Independent reports from Reuters, AP, The Guardian, and human rights monitors like Iran Human Rights (IHR), here is what is actually being verified regarding the situation in Iran tonight:
Is the Iranian Army (Artesh) fighting the IRGC? Verification: There is no evidence of a formal military revolt by the regular Iranian Army against the IRGC. While there is historically documented friction between the professional Artesh and the ideological IRGC, no credible news agency has reported the Army “hunting” IRGC leaders tonight.
Context: The “fighting” you are hearing about is more likely the result of the ongoing internal coup within the regime itself. The IRGC has consolidated power, effectively sidelining the civilian government and parts of the military establishment that were open to ceasefire negotiations.
Reports of Burning Mosques
Verification: This part of the report is partially verified, but the perpetrators are not the Army.
Details: Protesters—not soldiers—have been targeting mosques and Basij (IRGC paramilitary) bases.
The Rasht Massacre (Ongoing): Reports from Iran International and The Guardian confirm that the Hajj Mojtahid Mosque was set on fire. State media claims protesters did it; eyewitnesses claim security forces may have sparked fires during their crackdown on the local bazaar.
Gholhak Mosque: Reports from the NCRI confirm that a Basij base inside the Gholhak Mosque in Tehran was burned during recent unrest.
The “Hunting” of Leaders
Verification: The individuals doing the “hunting” are primarily IRGC intelligence units looking for “rebellious youth” and protesters.
Recent Event: This morning (April 21), the regime executed 24-year-old student Amir Ali Mirjafari for his role in the January uprisings, specifically for “burning a Basij base.” This has sparked a new wave of street-level clashes tonight in Tehran and Qom, which social media users may be interpreting as a larger military conflict.
Cannot believe anything coming from Reuters, AP, The Guardian.
Exactly my thinking…
Those “news” sites are not reliable, nor are those organizations.
What is reliable is the message from the White House; it has been the only consistent message since the beginning.
I will use reasoning based on the recent hesitancy to start taking out bridges and power plants (which impacts not just the extremists) to conclude that real military intelligence is informing the White House that things on the ground, maybe aligned with some of the items above, to some extent, are not going well for the IRGC and that the people of Iran are growing bolder and gaing resolve. Patience is a virtue in leadership. Trump is showing patience because you can’t unblow up things.
Those comparing it to BHO”s red line in Syria forget that BHO didn’t do anything; Trump has backed up his assertions. If needed, he will follow through. That’s a stark contrast being ignored by the TDS sufferers and Panicans.
“no credible news agency has reported”
Thar is the rub, isn’t it?
Who can name ANY?
All those sources you cite are propagandists, Slick.

That chatter, at least in Iran, is useful to our signal intelligence folks listening. The other chatter in Europe and elsewhere must be entertaining though not necessarily useful.
This cease fire is a chance to get the Bibi corruption trial fired up full steam ahead. It’s on hold due to the never ending wars of Bibi.
I don’t understand the off-and-on method. I get how such a strategy might keep the enemy uncertain, but isn’t the point to overthrow the current leadership via a popular uprising? How does keeping the leadership in power assist in establishing stability?
A Westerner is not likely to be told the truth by a ME leader, so why pretend?
How does the Russian involvement in UKR affect any of the negotiations, if at all?
The concept is known as coercive diplomacy. Also known as coercive control.
Strategic tool where a powerful state applies intermittent pressure, or “off and on” pressure (military, economic, or political) to force behavioral change without engaging in full-scale war.
President Trump isn’t following a cookbook for diplomacy. He is far more intelligent and tactically savvy than that.
He is a brilliant tactician in his own right, and considers innocents in the equation.
He said a few days ago a deal had been made, Iran completely capitulated, everything else was a formality. Shortly after that Iran said he’s lying. Next a member of the trump admin said they don’t even know who they’re supposed to negotiate with. If that’s intelligence w/ a sprinkle of savvy then I’m Santa Claus.
Didn’t read the article I see.
You apparently still don’t understand that the chain of command running Iran is broken and people are fighting for control. One day one group is in control and another day a different group.
But you don’t want to acknowledge any of that or the other realities of what is being done such as the blockade, which is changing everything.
You just want to trash President Trump. Better people than you have tried and failed.
Exactly. EC never commeted on the PW protected article, nor have many of those who expose themselves as Panicans. I said in the comments of that article, pay attention to who comments there, but more importantly who didn’t and remember who didn’t when you see their names elsewhere. Ray Bauch, EC, and many others…..remember those you didn’t see and you will know who is here to push propaganda not opinions.
Dear Santa, I would like a new truck for Xmas. Thanks. PS. PDJT has the Iranians in a choke hold. They will run out of cash to pay the IRGC and army soon. Also, their oil wells will fail soon because they stopped pumping because they can’t store or ship any more. That’s why PDJT knows we won. It’s over for Iran. The Hormoz oil is being replaced with increased production from the USA, Venezuela and Russia.
Thanks, Mrs Grok
Give it up.
Leave her be.
The noticing continues whether you like it or not.
There is a strong possibility Ahmad Vahidi placed the three negotiators under house arrest to prevent them from agreeing to any deal.
This explains why Trump thought he had a deal, then Iran backed out. It explains why the Iranian politicos said the straight was open, then Iran’s military fired on ships hours later. Vahidi doesn’t want any deal.
The Occam light is lit.
Please please ignore the Lindsey Grahams et al. Seiges/blockades are tried and true strategies tested (successfully) across millenia regardless of the technology of weaponry. The basic physical frailty of the human has not changed for thousands of years. You have the military advantage over them. Just wait. I know the lack of flash bang kinetics is upsetting to Lindsey Graham, but hold firm. They are about at their storage limit, stopping pumping apparently contaminates well fields.
Even fanatical extremist clerics can’t defeat science.
Yep. We can wait it out…they can’t.
All revolutions and counter revolutions are generally jumped started by starvation. (Our own being an extraordinary exception). When families are hungry, dad is more likely to grab his weapon and take his chances.
When you have nothing left to lose….
Some times when old producing wells are shut down because of no storage they never come back on stream. Just one of the unintended consequences of no oil storage.
Read a few days ago that in Iran’s case they will lose 20% of productivity FOREVER if they shut the wells down.
Sorry didn’t save a link.
It’s not beyond these loonies to just let oil flow on the ground to save the wells.
Not like they care about answering to an epa.
They don’t process sewage in the way we do, due to lack of water, tanker trucks load up all day and then go dump it away from the city areas.
Ewww. Do their average homes have indoor plumbing?
Don’t know.
But I bet they did 48 years ago!
I didn’t even know Lindsay was talking.
I think I like my sources – he’s not featured.
I was just meaning the usual suspects, the Lindsey Grahams of the US.
Sorry, was speed reading and missed the “et al.”
You are spot on that blockades have worked for centuries.
Kinda like border walls that way!
Agreed. The blockade is working. Bombing the crap out of Iranian power plants and bridges only hurts the citizen even more and changes nothing in the minds of the sadistic mullahs. The leadership doesn’t care how much the Iranian population suffers. And neither does Israel. So, resist hitting Iran and keep Israel in check. If we have to have armed escorts to get non-Iranian oil moving through the strait again, so be it. Spend the money and protect the tankers.
Let the asphyxiation have time to take effect. It will focus their minds and lead them to settle.
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make $500 Million Dollars a day (which is, therefore, what they are losing if it is closed!). They only say they want it closed because I have it totally BLOCKADED (CLOSED!), so they merely want to “save face.” People approached me four days ago, saying, “Sir, Iran wants to open up the Strait, immediately.” But if we do that, there can never be a Deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their Country, their leaders included! Most transparent Administration ever; yet, people ignore what he says. He’s telling the world exactly what’s happening but the idiots jump to Iran said otherwise. Remember the same outlets, the same people saying, but Iran said, Iran this, Iran that are the same ones that said Biden was his brightest and smartest during his Presidency, the Hunter laptop wasn’t real, and that the Covid vaccines stopped the virus instantly….
The same idiots fall for the same liars every time.
The President knows he has the cards, the mullahs/IRCG/Basij knows he has all the cards, we know he has all the cards… He is going to let them bleed dry with the total shutdown of their incoming revenue and then the Real Iranian people will know it is time…… The bad guys are counting on the Viet Nam Effect will work this time… but President Trump is not going to fold like Johnson and Nixon….
I believe 50,000 “extremists” is a low figure. The mullahs and their religious fanatics, the IRCG remnants and the possible 50,000 to 100,000 Basij militia – albeit untrained – but in every part of the country can be a formidable force in guerilla warfare.
Fighting whoever they believe is “Satan” has been the only way of life many have known – especially those less than 50 years of age.
A postponement of hostilities by the US may be misinterpreted by them as a sign of weakness by PDJT.
Bombing the pi$$ out of something important once a day might get their attention.
Losing their oil revenue is getting their attention.
Since Islam considers card games “haram” (prohibited) do these people even understand the President’s references?
Praying that the Trump team doesnt snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
His political enemies are like the IRGC,they will have to be put down because they will not go down.
Iran Is Collapsing—But D.C., Europe, and Former Allies Want Trump to Quit | Victor Davis Hanson,
The enemies in DC whining about impeachment and removal of our president should be hanged as aiding the enemy. Those lusting about ‘mid-terms” are aiding the crazies in Tehran. ( my two cents)

I can just imagine PDJT showing this headline to J.D. and both simultaneously saying, “We don’t really care, Margaret!”
Frankly, Scarlett….

My heart keeps going back to those beautiful young women…
Its sickening. I saw their photos on Instapundit – can’t look again.
Didn’t see those particular photos. I did see where the one female was buried to her waist, shot, bowed over, then stoned by the men. Guessing she was seen without a burka? It’s a demonic religion, plain and simple.

Like you, I cannot imagine the sheer volume of noise surrounding Iran.
Lord, please continue to guide our President through this worldwide transition. 🙏
Not only are trillions of dollars, but millions of freedom seeking Iranian lives are at stake.
Unless Trump blocks Iran’s access to global banking resources in addition to the physical blockade, this could drag on for a long time.
My thoughts exactly. Imagine “the city” sending financial assistance to The Imams.
He should continue killing anyone and everyone in the regime until, they either come to the table or cease to exist. These people only know and respect the boot- they should get a double dose.

Blockade will choke their money and future oil revenue for decades.
I’m betting that the new IRGC leader has already shot the group we met in Pakistan.
Well, that one’s possible…
oil fields will shut down in 9 days or so. almost impossible to restart. economics killed going forward.
They wont shut down future revenues. They will dump the oil in the sea. Then what?
ya maybe
a novel idea load up the oil off kharg island and fill our strategic reserve. to offset 150b$ they pilfered or given to them wrongly by obama.
I like it!
My bet is on our military to prevent them from doing any such dumping.
Everyone seems to be forgetting the blockade. The longer we maintain it, the more dire becomes the finances of the IRGC. Once they run out of oil storage, they’ll have to begin shutting down their wells. That will lead to disaster for an oil-producing economy.
The President should ignore the franticons and stay the course: maintain the blockade and hold renewed bombing in the ready. If the IRGC hangs tough, start hitting them, boom, boom, steadily until they finally throw in the towel. Which they will.
It won’t be long before the IRGC thugs are fleeing Iran (they have money in UK banks and real estate), and then the people will take control.
Spot on !
Yes!
Someone further down the thread just asked what will the mullahs do?
I think they will die, or flee as you describe. Probably the second, to try to escape the first.
Haven’t several already encamped themselves in our neighbor to the north?
They can just let it flow over the ground and into the sea, but they will loose the looney save the planet left worldwide…..possibly…..???
The looney left will blame Trump.
So ….essentially no change.
The problem with this line of thought is that it assumes rational behavior from fundamentally irrational people.
It seemed to me that President Trump’s strategy changed after the two airmen went down in enemy territory. There was a little difficult in rescuing the weapons officer and we lost several aircraft in the operation. It was like we realized the cost of having an airman captured with the resulting propaganda war possibly exploding in our faces. The airman probably tortured and paraded thru the streets of Tehran with the American Media and Democrats crowing hourly on the news channels 24/7. Vietnam and Somalia rolled into one. Soon after the blockade began. To me a better way to hit them – in the pocketbook. A little less risky, only a little, but nothing like having one of our military in the hands of the Mullahs who are just as vicious as ISIS.
You’re correct that all the recent and present adjustments to PDJT’s course are smart ones.
I would disagree, however, that he and his best team have failed to war-game out the many events that our evil AmeriPravda would rush to take advantage of, such as that spectacular rescue.
They are not working in a vacuum.
The IRGC have rejected President Trump’s ceasefire extension. The regular Iranian military have now switched sides and are burning mosques as well as burning qurans. There are two seperate armies in Iran. One is the regular army and the other is the IRGC who are religious fanatics. The truth that the lying media will not tell you is that only 5% of Iranians are pro- Islam. The majority want freedom and democracy. Please pray for them.
Source?
Tousi was reporting (about 5 hrs ago) the IRGC has placed the 3 top guys under house arrest. Who knows what’s going on.
The IRGC has deposed the clerics, and the IRGC has deposed the government. They are in charge of Iran completely now. The blockade is not going to dislodge them, because they will just cannibalize the assets of the Iranian people, over their dead bodies, to make up for the lost income, and to subsist and continue terrorizing.
We need to summon the will to win this war. We can do it; the way has been described. If we don’t, millions may starve or be killed, and our President may forfeit his office. There is no exit ramp available to diplomacy in this case.
Trump already has the rope around the neck and he’s just standing there. They flail and run around, they cause the rope to tighten. They relax and come forward in peace, they’re at the mercy of Trump . Lose-lose for them.
Meanwhile, China is trying to pretend they’re not affected by all of this.
I’ve wondered whether a regime that readily used children to sweep mine fields during the Iran/Iraq conflict wouldn’t also put children on those bridges and in close proximity to those power plants President Trump plans to deconstruct. The MSM would plaster those dead all over the internet and what little paper still exists if such a thing happened.
Using civilians as human shields is a violation of international law.
The burden of judgement will fall on those who put the civilians in harm’s way.
“The issue inside Iran is essentially: 50,000 extremist clerics and IRGC members are holding 90 million people as hostages to a fanatical religious regime. “
A small minority of armed extremists can control a vast number of unarmed moderates, making them, and their wishes, irrelevant.
Ahmad Vahidi is the lesd crazy!
Any dictatorship can survive as long as their soldiers are willing and able to kill the citizens.
Not getting paid and getting killed are two ways that reduce the soldiers’ willingness and ability to kill for a regime.
President Trump has been working both vectors with gusto.
Hopefully a combination of those two will end this evil.
MAGA!
Are they being paid in crypto? It seems like they have set up a system to ensure a payday…
The Iranian currency collapsed in January…this article, from January 2026, mentions what sounds like a shadow financial system where the IRGC is getting the better of the economy-while mentioning that about 40% of the population has the risk of falling into poverty…
“In Iran, access to a stable, state-set currency exchange rate is reserved for a privileged few — and economic networks linked to the Revolutionary Guard sit closest to the front of the queue.”(openning sentence to the article).
““Forty percent of Iranians are vulnerable to falling into poverty, in that their risk of becoming poor in the near future is greater than one in five — a 10 percentage-point increase from 2011.”

Is that what they dismantled in Dubai?
Is this guy really a Democrat?
Because he sounds more like an actual Republican than most of the Senate ones.
Use the time to send rifles and ammunition to the people. We can defeat their military but we can’t replace their theocracy, only the Iranians can do that.
Yes! 180 to 1 are pretty good odds.
They already tried that, arms didn’t end up in the “right” hands, great job by a 3 letter./s
“50,000 extremist clerics and IRGC members are holding 90 million people as hostages to a fanatical religious regime.“
Well, in the USA ~ 535 members of Congress are holding 350 million people as hostages to a fanatical ideological regime.
I was thinking about those girls who Trump asked Iran not to execute.
I recently read an article that it is pretty much still the case that before a girl is executed in Iran she is raped first.
AI says still happens and you can find article links on it.

The Secret of Mina’s Father7
Excerpt:
Rape Before Execution:
A Doctrine of Cruelty
During the 1980s, and reportedly in later years as well, the Iranian regime systematically raped female political prisoners before executing them.
The justification given by prison authorities was that virgins would go to heaven, and this heinous act was meant to prevent that.
In many documented cases, the families of these young women were not informed of the assault until after their deaths—when officials handed them a bag of sweets or a wedding cake to “congratulate” them on their daughter’s supposed marriage to a prison guard. Dozens of survivor accounts and reports have confirmed this grotesque practice.
https://wncri.org/2025/05/14/the-secret-of-mina-asgari-father/#:~:text=Rape Before Execution: A Doctrine, have confirmed this grotesque practice
Seems the Iranians are having an internal fight! This I believe to be true, verbal right now a lot of threats of violence (civil war threats), I would bet. Keep blocking them from making MONEY and blocking them from getting weapons restocked. Iran may have to go through some real turmoil before they can even negotiate with Trump. If the Iranians had any brains, they would make President Trump their best friend.
WTI-89.44 as of now, back in 2008 WTI was 140/147 a barrel and within 5 to 7 months went to 40 a barrel, go figure. Why put this here, like the stock market oil is up and down and we can see its been way higher in the past.
The Omani Passage Bypass…
Based on recent statements from General Joseph Votel and reports on U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) operations, the “alternate route” refers to the reopening of the internationally recognized shipping channel specifically between Oman and Iran, as opposed to the coastal waters currently under the tightest control of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The strategy involves several key components aimed at bypassing Iranian interference while maintaining the blockade on Iranian exports:
The “Internationally Recognized” Channel
The U.S. Navy has been working to clear and secure the 21-mile-wide transit corridor that follows international maritime law. This route is being designated as a “safe zone” for neutral commercial shipping, distinct from the Iranian-claimed territorial waters where the IRGC often conducts its interdictions and mine-laying.
Key Operational Features
Mine-Clearing Operations:
On April 11, 2026, CENTCOM announced that U.S. destroyers (including the USS Frank E. Peterson and USS Michael Murphy) began specialized operations to ensure this recognized channel is completely clear of sea mines.
The “Coordinate Route”: Recently, Iranian officials mentioned a “coordinated route” as part of a ceasefire agreement. The U.S. strategy involves ensuring this route remains accessible to commercial traffic while the Navy maintains its blockade on Iranian oil tankers specifically.
Escort Services: The U.S. and its allies are moving toward a system where commercial ships are escorted through this designated corridor to mitigate the high insurance risks and security threats that have spiked oil prices recently.

Brave AI and its only one American refinery:
The Whiting Refinery has a crude oil distillation capacity of approximately 440,000 barrels per day, making it the largest refinery in the Midwest and BP’s largest facility worldwide.
While its design capacity sits at this level, recent reports indicate daily throughput has varied, with operations processing around 346,500 barrels daily in late 2024 and historical peaks reaching up to 504,000 barrels in a single 24-hour period during 1977
Worked there years back, they were converting to refining oil sand from Canada, engineers miscalculated the corrosive properties of the process. They had to update the changes that they had done the year before, I had to change equipment that was a year old.
The Toledo plant processes the same, it was a partnership with a company called Husky out of Canada.

Trump Always Crushes Opponents — There FIFY!
Well.
Friday informed me that the people willing to make sense held some clout; our guys aren’t idiots and they gave them a chance to deliver.
Saturday proved that Iran is now engaged in a battle for control of itself.
Today proved that we are smart enough to wait and God willing enough of our government is willing and able to carry out direction to ‘influence’ the result in the right direction.
This is helped as Jimbo noted by the fact that time is on our side. In some short period of time the Iran reserves fill, the oil wells have to stop, and the money and things that can’t be undone happen without one single more shell or bomb on our part. All we have to do is keep them from moving their oil out. Boom.
Since we are the Non-Pretending Discussion Board, we need to face these facts:
The Extremist Muslims such as Twelver Shiites and Wahhabi Sunnis
The Zionist Israelis
AND the believers in Premillennialist Christianity
are three legs of the same stool.
All seek an Armageddon battle in the Middles East to bring on their vision of the end of the World.
“While the Arab partners in the region are aligned with Trump on the issue of “extremism” and radicalism, thereby supporting the confrontation with Iranian religious extremists – those same regional partners also consider Israeli conduct in Gaza and Lebanon as religious “extremism.””
Quite the conundrum.
They agree with confronting the radicalism. They don’t want to do it themselves.
They also don’t like that Israel is confronting it.
Iran had its tentacles wrapped around the ME, particularly around Israel, with its proxies in Lebanon, Gaza, and even Yemen acting under its influence. Not to mention its malign influence in Iraq that sabotaged all American efforts to stabilize it. Or its former grip on Syria, gone with the fall of Assad.
But somehow Israel is being too aggressive?
I wonder what the Lebanese who have been under the heel of Iran via Hezbolla for over 40 years think about the removal of that influence? If Iranians are hostage to the IRGC, what does that make the Lebanese?
Are the Gazans hostage to the Iranian Proxy Hamas? or are they co-conspirators?
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/425867
I am hoping that this fracture and stop/go tug of war within the Iranian IRGC and civilian leadership with regard to coming to an agreement is not a well thought out ploy to keep the U.S. from making a final decision. The decision to allow an open ended ceasefire would last long enough to replenish their missiles and such through Pakistan and Syrian routes.
I do not have much trust in Pakistan. Pakistan is very anti American and we have to remember they hid Bin Laden for years.
Uh…Well-thought out ploys don’t simply pretend issues like the timing-dependent oil wells will magically go away…
…or that PDJT is an indecisive fella…
The Pakistanis report to China. They were called for consultations with Xi before the negotiations began. The strategy being employed is called “Ta Ta, Tan Tan.” Chairman Mao used this strategy of talk talk, fight fight to take power in China. When faced by a superior military force, he called for negotiations, then attacked in surprise, then called for more negotiations, then attacked again. This throws the adversary off balance.
I think this is exactly the outcome Trump had hoped for, that is that the Iranians would take care of business and get rid of the current regime. More and more stories coming out that something is in progress as we speak.
The other thing facing Iran relates to its oil wells. Tick-Tick-Tick. Oil pumped from the ground has to be stored – Iran’s oil storage capacity is nearly at its limit because the embargo stops tankers from filling up – When Iran reaches its maximum oil storage capacity (in about 13-15 days) its oil wells will have to stop pumping … there is nowhere to store the oil … That, in turn, creates BIG PROBLEMS:
Tick-Tick-Tick …
We need high level military defectors in a steady flow in order to break their hold.
No shortage of ‘brains’ working on it…altho this is only academics…I remind all of where certain technologies where developed….liberal slant, I cannot say…but the one quote offers some extended permanence, to the oil ideas…
““Fossil fuels will remain in the energy mix for decades, but we’re also expanding our focus to include geothermal and nuclear. Solar and wind are indirectly the mix because of their relationship to critical minerals. All energy sources rely on geologic resources, and students are encouraged to think about the entire energy system.”

JMO.
Bean counters and lawyers have their place in war.
But when fighting large numbers of fanatics, aka japs or IRGC, they must not be the determining factor.
Gather info on the bad guys in country, who/where/when, and get on with their destruction.
The good iranians and our end-the-bad-guys-brings-peace-objective demand it.
Time is on the bad guy’s side …… ammo is on our side ……. limit the delay and bomb-bomb-bomb the bad iranians.
Delay in hours, okay ……. delay for days, not good.
Don’t fall for the Israel-made-us-do-it psyop being pushed by the bad CIA (yup, they are still at their desks) / EU. They are trying to extend the “skirmish” to hurt President Trump’s midterm preparation and execution.
MAGA / America First isn’t just our motto, it is our duty!

As @POTUS has made clear, the United States Navy will continue the blockade of Iranian ports. In a matter of days, Kharg Island storage will be full and the fragile Iranian oil wells will be shut in. Constraining Iran’s maritime trade directly targets the regime’s primary revenue lifelines.
The @USTreasury
will continue to apply maximum pressure through Economic Fury to systematically degrade Tehran’s ability to generate, move, and repatriate funds.

Israel is NOT extremist.
They are fighting against Islamic countries and terrorists who have owed to destroy Israel and kill all Jews. In Israel and worldwide.
Iran regime will drag in to 2028,
president Trump must be finish the job now,
Is it possible when the IRG says they have cards that they already possess a nuclear weapon? Either by their own enrichment or by acquisition from N Korea or elsewhere? Is our intelligence strong enough to know the answer?
They would have used it already, not go back to X.
Could part of the negotiations be the disclosure of Iranian government officials kicking back funds from the billions that Barack Obama gifted them?
That would be a nice plot twist.
…sometimes the lion needs to show the jackal who he is. It’s too late to be scared, it’s time to kill.
On vacation in the Caribbean a few years back we met a couple of Iranian expats at a beach restaurant. During the conversation we had I remember them sayin “Iran is a country of 80M reasonable citizens being held hostage by 10M fanatics and extremists. I hope the numbers quoted in the article are the accurate ones.
