Fusion GPS Tries, and Fails, To Distance Themselves From FBI FISA Origin…

It’s every man and woman for themselves as the collective groups of architects behind the entire FBI Counterintelligence Operation, that brought us the 18-month-long ‘vast Russian conspiracy’ narrative, now attempt to back-track from all previous assertions.

Two days ago we shared very strong confidence the joint FBI (counterintelligence) and DOJ (National Security Division) scheme was going to come out.  The reason is simple, they left too big a trail of factual and provable evidence of their activity.

It is not coincidental that just as scrutiny over the 2016 FBI FISA court application gains traction in congress and media, the insider intelligence community started leaking to the New York Times about the insignificance of the Steele Dossier as it relates to the FISA court application.  Look, over there, it was George Papadopoulos; not the DOJ FISA construct that was used by the FBI to launch surveillance upon candidate Trump. Swear.

For more than a year the Steele Dossier was the most valuable evidence to the Russian narrative; then, poof, in the blink-of-an-eye, not so much – it became a risk.  Funny that.  The transparency of motive is brutally obvious, too many FBI and DOJ people at risk now. The trail is too easy to follow.

It was only a matter of time before Fusion-GPS spoke up toward the same goal of track-covering.  Yesterday Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch [Hi Glenn] posted an Op-Ed in the New York Times attempting further distance.

According to Glenn and Pete:

[…] “We don’t believe the Steele dossier was the trigger for the F.B.I.’s investigation into Russian meddling. As we told the Senate Judiciary Committee in August, our sources said the dossier was taken so seriously because it corroborated reports the bureau had received from other sources, including one inside the Trump camp.” (more)

Additionally, Fusion GPS also claims they never spoke to the FBI: “We did not speak to the F.B.I. and haven’t since.”, which is bizarre given the previous reports of Glenn Simpson talking to FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok.  Isn’t Peter Strzok in the FBI?

Conspicuously absent from the Fusion Op-Ed is any mention of Glenn Simpson’s wife, Mary B Jacoby, and her involvement therein.  Additionally their explanations are devoid of the prior meeting or contact with DOJ Deputy Attorney Bruce Ohr, the guy who was demoted for meeting with them without telling anyone.  Another curious missing detail is Simpson, Jacoby and Fritsch hiring Bruce Ohr’s wife Nellie Ohr to work on the “Trump project”.

Nope. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

Unfortunately for Glenn and Pete the part about them saying the dossier was taken seriously because it corroborated reports the FBI had from another source, “including one inside the Trump camp”, leads to Business Insider asking questions about that source.

Who does that corroborative source turn out to be?  Oh yeah:

[…] a person with knowledge of Fusion’s testimony and the op-ed told Business Insider on Tuesday. … it was a reference to George Papadopoulos. (link)

So the current narrative is: the FBI didn’t likely use the Steele Dossier in the FISA court application, but rather the FBI’s confirmation of a source within the Steele Dossier, as given by the author of the Dossier, was likely used in the FISA court application.

See how that works?

The “dossier” didn’t originate the FISA application to conduct surveillance on candidate Donald Trump; the source (Papadopoulos) quoted “inside the dossier” originated the FISA application. Let’s play a game; it’s called “Semantics”.

Except there’s another problem.

Stuff happens when people begin the ‘every-man-for-himself‘ routine; the central narrative control collapses.

Simultaneous to Fusions’ Op-Ed protestations, the former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, appears on CNN to say, he never heard of George Papadopoulos – and he should know, because his office put out the 2016/2017 Joint Analysis Report.  That’s the 17-agency (eyeroll) definitive story on all things ‘Muh Russian Conspiracy’.

So now what?

Not what, “who”?

Yeah, who?

Who’d he throw it to?

I dunno.

“Third Base.”

Fusion-GPS’s, Glenn Simpson, is playing Abbott to ODNI, James Clapper’s, Costello.

Why?  Because the entire back-story that centers around the Steele Dossier, how it was assembled (Clinton Camp) and how it was used collaboratively by the DOJ (National Security Division) and FBI (Counterintelligence unit), is a case study in how to mislead a FISA court to gain an unlawful warrant to wiretap and conduct surveillance on political opponents.

And I remind you, that approach is what the former Obama head of the DOJ National Security Division, Asst. Attorney General John P Carlin, admitted to the FISA court weeks after the Trump wiretap and surveillance warrant was issued.

A newly released court order from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) found that the National Security Agency, under former President Obama, routinely violated American privacy protections while scouring through overseas intercepts and failed to disclose the extent of the problems until the final days before Donald Trump was elected president last fall. In describing the violations, the FISA court said the illegal searches conducted by the NSA under Obama were “widespread” and created a “very serious Fourth Amendment issue.” These new discoveries come from a recently unsealed FISA court document dated April 26, 2017 and center around a hearing dated October 26, 2017, just days before the 2016 election, in which the FISA court apparently learned for the first time of “widespread” and illegal spying on American citizens by the NSA under the Obama administration.  (pdf link)

As the Inspector General investigation continues: ♦FBI Agent Peter Strzok has been reassigned to the HR department.  ♦FBI Lawyer Lisa Page, personal legal aide to FBI Asst. Director, Andrew “Andy” McCabe, has been returned to the DOJ side. ♦FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker has been relieved of his duties by FBI Director Christopher Wray. ♦FBI Asst Director Andrew McCabe has announced his intent to retire in March.

All of these FBI personnel moves are a preliminary outcomes of the still ongoing Office of Inspector General (OIG) investigation.   All of this has been reported.  None of these moves are speculative.  All of these geese are cooked.  However, this is just one side of the 2016 political “Trump operation”, the FBI investigative Counterintelligence Division side.

The other side, the legal side of the Trump operation, stems from the National Security Division of the DOJ.  A FISA application is submitted from the DOJ-NSD  for use by the FBI Counterintelligence team.   Sunlight upon this side of the collaboration is the reason for all of the current distraction narratives.

While both sides of the corrupt political apparatus participated in the illegal unmasking and leaking, the documentation and activity behind the origin of the FISA application is the current ‘hot potato’ no-one wants any association with.

The FISA application(s) and the subsequent wiretapping and surveillance collection, along with the unmasking that followed, is the focus of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes.

Sometime this month, after the initial Inspector General Michael Horowitz release, House Judiciary Chair Bob Goodlatte and Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley will likely call for a Special Counsel to investigate the upper-level management of the FBI and DOJ.

We should support that approach.  The SC can quickly put a Grand Jury together and start presenting the IG investigative evidence, as well as enforceable subpoenas for witnesses.

There’s a lot of different down-stream legal issues:

  • The unlawful exoneration of Hillary Clinton by political operatives in the DOJ/FBI.
  • The unlawful destruction of evidence; and the manipulation of investigative protocols to gain a specific and pre-planned political outcome. (Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe)
  • The unlawful use of the FISA court for political spy operations by the DOJ/FBI.
  • The unlawful use of the Dept of Justice National Security Division.  For weaponized political benefit.  (Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, Bruce Ohr)
  • The unlawful use of the FBI Counterintelligence Division. For weaponized political benefit. (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Baker)
  • The unlawful use of a Special Counsel (Mueller) investigation to hide the conspiracy; (James Baker, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Andrew Weissman, Jeannie Rhee, Aaron Zebley)

All of the origination details are part of the minutia that will surface in the next 30 days.  Devin Nunes, Bob Goodlatte and Chuck Grassley using the Judiciary and Intelligence Committees to collect evidence and tell the public everything outlined HERE and more.

Last Simpson’s article says no money was paid to Russian sources.

That could be true given the likelihood all of the Russian sources come from the imagination of Chris Steele. But did Simpson give money to Steele that was supposed to be paid to Russians?

Nevertheless unlike the Maddow crowd Simpson knows the problem of payments to Russians.

            • farrier105 says:

Let’s see, I think the count of Hillary’s money for the dossier is up to $12 million. Steele got about $190,000. That leaves a hell of a lot of money for which there is no accounting after Nellie Ohr’s $500,000. So, who got the rest of the $12 million?

This thing was an inside sting. It is a small con game through which the mark, Hillary, pays for the bigger con directed at her. The entire dossier wouldn’t cost much more than $5,000 to have someone cobble it together in a few hours. The spy agencies got the money. For what purposes that money was used is anyone’s guess. Perhaps it was used to cover the expenses for some of the illegal counterintelligence investigation that went on from July to October without a FISA warrant.

WHY DIDN’T THE FBI GET A FISA WARRANT TO DO A FORENSIC AUDIT OF THE DNC NETWORK? Because they already knew who stole the emails, didn’t they, Shawn Henry?

Comey is in it up to his neck. No one moves in the FBI without someone up the ladder approving. Comey’s reaction to having to answer a question about William Priestap tells us all we need to know.

Mary Jocoby, wife if Glenn Simson, spent at least 14 hours “visiting” in the White House on April 19, 2016. The visitor log says her visit started at 10:00am on April 19, 2016 and ended at 11:59 on April 19, 2016.

I believe Mary went and pitched her Russian Dossier that was made up of trash she and her husband wrote before 2015 when Donald Trump announced he was running for President. Why did they write it? Maybe they were paid to write it back in 2010 when Donald Trump thought he might run.

It would be interesting to know who else came and went during that long stretch of time on April 19. I looked but I’m no good at that. Wouldn’t it be something if Bruce Ohr was brought in to address the problem of provenance of the Dossier and he recommended his wife handle that since she was a Russian expert and she knew Steele.

This is the biggest scandal ever and it is about what was allowed to be done to us.
This is the overreaching narrative that needs to be repeated ad nauseam.
Obama and his criminal minions have been spying on EVERYONE for years via Brennan and the Awans. He’s been spying on citizens who oppose his agenda (IRS), he’s been spying on elected officials and then blackmailing(motivating) them for votes contrary to what their constituents want or tamping down investigations, and spying on and then “motivating” judges for opinions he desires. OBAMA AND COMPANY WEAPONIZED OUR GOVERNMENT AGAINST THE CITIZENS, NEGATING OUR VOICES AND OUR VOTES.
What has been the most frustrating part of the obama years? What makes us scream and yell at the tv? Granted the GOP are the worst communicators ever and the COC GOP lies at election time and then always works against its voters. But the most ardent and passionate advocates for our side, the ones who speak out for right and wrong and getting to the bottom of scandals, can NEVER seem to bring it home. Now we know why.
Yes, Hillary lost and is a vindictive criminal but trump would probably have let her go and she would have been relieved to have her crimes not reinvestigated. OBAMA IS BEHIND THE FAUX SCANDAL OF THE PAST 18 MONTHS. HE COULDNT LET IT GO BECAUSE HE HAS THE MOST TO LOSE.
Obama was basically running an organized crime ring, not a democratic republic, for eight years. He did it with the help of the MSM and the tacit knowledge of the entire democrat party. Not one democrat spoke up for right and wrong, ever. They are all dishonest and lack any moral compass
They all have to be mercilessly smeared with obama’s crimes for a very long time. Obama will never go to jail but they have to be held accountable at the ballot box. His legacy belongs to them. THEY KNEW IT AND THEY ALLOWED IT. They are not fit to govern. That is the message.

The discussion in the article about the “illegal searches and FISA” strikes me as the start of the explanation surrounding the recusal of the Federal Judge from the Flynn case. That judge is about to get caught up in a crap storm over illegal searches he may have knowingly or unknowingly authorized.

This may also be the start of discussions regarding the dismissal of charges against Flynn and Papadopoulos. Trump will not need to go through the fake media crap storm about pardons for these two.

With all the illegal surveillance, wiretaps, unmasking, US person searches of domestic communications, all without valid search warrants, pursuant to fraudulently obtained search warrants, or in violation of NSA policies, every damn thing that comes from it is all fruit from a poisonous tree. Hell, even Mueller’s investigation itself is illegitimate, because it is chasing a theory illegally developed from illegally obtained information. And the process crimes, such as Flynn’s lying to the FBI, are also tainted, because they should never have even been questioned in the first place as part of the illegitimate and illegal investigation.

It’s all bad, and if any state prosecutor ever brought this kind of crap in front of any state criminal court judge worth his salt, it would all be thrown out and the transcript of the hearing probably sent to the state bar association for proceedings against the prosecutor for disbarment, it’s that bad.

    The Bigger Picture:

A lot has been mentioned about Uranium 1 and other corruption that Obama/ Clinton were up to their necks in. One thing I think that is worth considering. We have talked of their corruption in the millions and possibly in the billions. What if end goal of their corruption would have them reaping trillions? How you ask? Very simple. First you ram through legislation (with the help of the uniparty)that cedes the authority of the United States to foreign control. Legislation like TPP, NAFTA, Paris Climate Accord etc. Next, When Crooked Hillary became President ( which was the plan ) she continues to erode the sovereignty of the United States along with her conspirators. The next step in their plan would be for Obama to be ushered in as head of the United Nations. Which would just happen to be the same foreign entity that would have been given control of all things US.

This is also why the big push for ObamaCare. It would have given the government more power and leverage to force the American people to go along with their plan. We would be told that it’s “ for the best “ for our Country and the world. And also “And after all, since NK and Iran somehow have Nukes, it would ensure world peace “.

From that top U.N perch the Kenyan sodomite could continue to run corruption on a scale that is absolutely unimaginable. Why only let Pakistan run drugs when he can take a cut from all major Cartels for the privilege of letting them operate? Why only run guns to ISIS when he can run them to anyone willing to pay?

In fact, you could simply confiscate someone’s wealth by fake evidence (Russian Dossier) and corrupt LEO’s and Judges. Anyone in the world would be a target and have to pay a “ fee “ for protection. And let’s not forget about the hundreds of billions that would be raked in from EVERY factory, business, building, house etc for the Carbon tax scheme.

How long would it have taken them to hand out more “no bid” contracts and given to their friends? (Healthcare .Gov Website ) How many more Solyndras would there be? How easy to secretly arrest a corrupt billionaire and offer him “freedom” for a high price? ( Saudi Arabia)

Uranium one doesn’t even register on the corruption scale for what was planned. That was simply a guppy compared to a blue whale in size. Koch brothers, Soros, Tech Titans, and others would reap the rewards of having friends in high places. Other high ranking world politicians would be rewarded handsomely for going along with the scheme. Those that didn’t would be made an example of.

This I believe was their master plan. Hillary’s reward would be getting to be the first female President and also share in the trillions that would be coming in. In my opinion, everything else being talked about (#metoo! Trump/Russia gate, Pizza gate etc) is simply a bushy tailed squirrel designed to distract away from their goal.

Just a thought, but definitely worth thinking.

And as professional liars, you’re simply not credible.

There is NO SUCH THING as a ‘serious Fourth Amendment issue’. It’s called BREAKING the CONSTITUTION… and the Constitution is the LAW of the LAND.

Saying there was ‘a serious Fourth Amendment issue’ is like saying Sick Hillary was ‘extremely careless’. That is NOT a legal definition.

    It’s just BULL$#@%.

    • scott467 says:

      Break it down.

      a serious Fourth Amendment issue

The word ‘issue’ is a euphemism for VIOLATING the CONSTITUTION and the BILL of RIGHTS.

And the modifier, the adjective ‘serious’… can there be any VIOLATION of the Constitution OR the Bill of Rights that is NOT ‘serious’?!?

What are we talking about here?

Saying the Hussein administration committed ‘a serious Fourth Amendment issue’ is like saying a pedophile caught in the act has a serious anti-social issue.

Raping a BABY is NOT an ‘issue’, it is a heinous criminal act.

And that’s EXACTLY what the Hussein did to our CONSTITUTION and our COUNTRY.

    Here’s a downstream legal issue.

    Was Hussein’s entire administration rogue?

Was the FBI, the DOJ, the CIA, the ODNI, the State Dept. (Samantha Power), Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett ALL running a renegade operation without Hussein’s knowledge and approval?

They’re going to need to drag Chevy Chase out of retirement to re-enact his stumbling, bumbling fool ‘Gerald Ford’ routine to try to sell that whopper.

Look at the SIZE of the conspiracy.

Look at the number of agencies involved, the number of PEOPLE involved, and the CLOSENESS of those PEOPLE to the Hussein.

Jarrett and Rice were his right-hand men (figuratively, if not literally). Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, Holder, Power and Clinton ALL worked for him. They all served at the president’s pleasure.

There is NO credible scenario where Hussein’s entire top-level administration was involved in an obvious conspiracy to violate the Constitution and subvert the United States of America, and Hussein can claim plausible deniability.

The claim can’t be made with a straight face.

It doesn’t pass the laugh test.

He can’t claim to be the greatest, smartest, most competent president to ever live AND be Chauncey Gardiner at the same time.

There is no credible exit strategy for the Hussein.

And THAT is where all of this is going.

The Top Secret FISA Court Order mentioned in this post found that the NSA “…routinely violated American privacy protections…”
“the illegal searches conducted by the NSA under Obama were “widespread” and created a “very serious Fourth Amendment issue.””
the DOJ notified the FISC of the DOJ’s prob.

    That is not what happened.

Adm Mike Rogers became NSA head in Mar or Apr 2015. By early 2016, Adm Rogers either noticed, was told, or had a hunch something was wrong; cannot say which. Acting on his tip or hunch, Adm Rogers ordered the NSA compliance officer to run an audit on 702 compliance. 702 is basically what people believe is spying on Americans; the actual “spying” part is 702 item 17, which allows for queries or searches of content of email and phone convos.

The NSA compliance officer identified several strange queries that were being run. Ever the military officer, Adm Rogers, knowing what was happening, nevertheless protected his President – Obama – and took the blame for the non-compliance on the NSA.

—>>>The truth is Obama and his people were directing certain NSA operators to run illegal queries on the content of American emails and phone convos.

Adm Rogers followed the law, notified the DOJ, and then notified the FISC. The DOJ set Adm Rogers up to take the fall and pre-empted Adm Rogers by filing w/the FISC on 26 Sep 2016. The NSA compliance officer did not notify Adm Rogers until 20 Oct 2016. Adm Rogers was now a dead man walking. Adm Rogers notified the FISC on 26 Oct 2016; Brennan and Clapper recommended Obama fire Adm Rogers.

Adm Rogers tried to fix the prob w/the 702 queries under the guidance of the FISC, found he was unable, and stopped the item 17 of 702 queries altogether. Obama was stopped, albeit too late.

All of the above is outlined in the Top Secret FISA Court Order linked in this post uptop
and here – NSA Statement NSA Stops Certain Section 702 Upstream Activities https://www.nsa.gov/news-features/press-room/statements/2017-04-28-702-statement.shtml
and here – start at 00:39 to end; 5 minutes of sworn testimony by Adm Rogers 7 Jun 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIJGH9RS2Fc
(Why Sen Langford did not think bigger is beyond me.)

Thanks to Adm Rogers the spying AND collection of our email and phone convos content has been STOPPED.

Now, what do you s’pose Adm Rogers told President-Elect Trump when, after the 2016 election and after PE Trump’s black box room (SCIF) had been setup, Adm Rogers traveled, unapproved, to see PE Trump mid-Nov 2016? Recall the next day PE Trump moved the transition team to Trump Golf Club in NJ, and screams were heard for Obama to fire Adm Rogers.

Pres Trump knows, folks. He knows.

The evil ones were after Gen Flynn and Adm Rogers both. Sadly, Gen Flynn had to take the fall for his VP, VP Pence. Very very sad. Gen Flynn is a patriot and a very good man.

You sure Carlin did not get out b/c he knew they had been caught and that Carlin was to be the next fall-guy?

A military officer does NOT take an oath of allegiance to a president, he takes an oath to the CONSTITUTION.

If Rogers knowingly protected a president who was violating the Constitution for the united States of America, then he is complicit in the president’s crimes.

And guilt from criminal conduct is not transferable; Hussein still stands in the dock for his own crimes.

If the spying and collection had been stopped, then why the need to move the DJT transition team from Trump Tower to Trump’s golf club in New Jersey?

      • jeans2nd says:

Would you trust Obama and Swamp Creatures after learning about the illegal spying? Not me. The move was prudent, imo.

Adm Rogers did take the blame. The prob is not outing Obama. You are most correct there.
My guess is, since this was before the election, Adm Rogers, believing Clinton was going to win, wanted to keep his job so as to continue trying to stop the illegal queries in the FISC, but that is just a guess.

      • Maquis says:

The CONSPIRACY was not necessarily limited to the NSA espionage tools and the CONSPIRACY itself was by no means stopped. Spying on Trump in his clearly compromised headquarters, having even been pentetrated by suspicious characters capable of planting bugs, was a substantial likelihood.

Also, we don’t know all that was communicated by Admiral Rogers. He could clearly be aware of vulnerabilities and operations that only a removal to a secure location would/might address.

Reading the narrative that Jean gave us above, one cannot but ask WHO was generating those illegal queries? From the video of his testimony, it appears that he assigned no blame except on the system itself “inadvertently” creating queries.

A “technical solution” was attempted, then abandonned as ineffective, leading to his closing the system down, terminating “17” queries.

What is not asked, nor offered, is WHO was in a position to effect these queries? WHO could possibly cirvumvent Rogers’ technical solution and continue illegal upstream (internet backbone) collecting?

There most assuredly had be be a number of WHOs.

Dangerous ones that Rogers knew could continue their CONSPIRACY and collect intel in myriad ways. Trump was not safe despite Rogers’ actions to date. Rogers himself was in substantial risk.

Also, there were very possibly, perhaps likely, dangerous Agents within NSA, loyal to the CONSPIRACY, that ciuld perhaps still employ NSA systems and assets.

Even if such were effectively blocked from further collections, they could still continue to mine the collected data. Rogers was purging that data as he spoke to Congress in the clip above. Decamping would not end that, but clearly Trump could not trust his Tower any longer.

I still hope to know more about the persons employed by the Conspiracy within such agencies. Who do they answer to? Will we ever root them out? Will we return to public hangings? Please?

    NAIS Supporters Fighting Dirty
By Karen NXXX, XXXXX Hackney Horses, XXXXX NY

Since it is apparent that some of you think our government agencies are above board, let me share a story of my recent experience.
“..I purchased vendor space at a recent Horse Expo in my state. The purpose (clearly spelled out to the expo organizers) was three fold: to promote the Hackney Horse, to market my hay (income) and to provide information for horse owners on NAIS. All was fine until my State Dept of Agriculture found out that I would be there as they had purchased vendor space as well. They succeeded in having me banned from the expo because I would be a ‘negative influence’!

The ACLU took my case – the first one in the USA involving NAIS – and went after my State Dept of Ag…My State Dept of Ag vehemently denied any wrongdoing. They turfed it all on the shoulders of the expo organizers, claiming that they simply asked that they be moved to another location in the expo away from me.

Technically it should have stopped there,… But the ACLU believed the whole story ‘stunk of censorship’ and did not buy the State Dept of Ag’s excuse. They then had conversations with the expo organizers and a very interesting story emerged in where even names were named from my State Dept of Ag. They informed the expo organizers that I had been at a huge Farm Expo last August (Untrue as I working). They claimed that I harassed people, was rude and obnoxious and had even caused a riot to break out over NAIS! They also stated that they were ‘in fear of being on the same grounds’ as me for fear that I would cause another riot. Of course the expo organizers made the decision to ban me. Who wouldn’t after hearing such a story from a govt agency? My first reaction was to laugh over this absolutely ridiculous ‘story’ then I really got angry. I was NOT at said Farm Expo but I did know people who attended. NO riot broke out!

My State Dept of Ag also provided the expo organizers with numerous e-mails that I had written about NAIS – going back an entire year. I saw these e-mails from our State Dept of Ag with my own eyes. It was then that I realized they are actually tracking me on the internet.

To make a long story short, the expo organizers were convinced by the ACLU that it was in their best interest to allow me back in…..”

When the USA’s top law enforcement officials, themselves, aid, abet and conspire to perpetrate a crime, and, in fact, perpetrate it, there is no civilian police agency that can effectively investigate it. The military can, in acts against the Nation, and, a plot to smear and discredit the Commander-in-Chief, is an act against the Nation. Certainly, the lack of a loyal, law-abiding national law enforcement capability is a national emergency, and President Trump should declare one.
