The American Thinker article cited below is a keenly well aware and insightful dot connection. The basic question throughout the article is: “was President Obama the origin of the Arab Spring”?
Those of you who have followed our mid-east research know full well we believe the answer is a resounding yes.
However, it has only been in the past fourteen months we have been able to understand the entire scope, the larger and specific intent, of the non-spoken agenda which began unfolding immediately after the 2009 Obama Cairo speech.
Most Refuge Readers can review the summary discussion and see a the larger encapsulated insight. And, as you know, we make no apologies for our support of Egypt’s Fatah el-Sisi who is indeed a secular leader within a modern Islamic nation.

What sets el-Sisi apart from the other mid-east leaders is his core principle, backed up by his actions – not words, that affirm the freedom rights of minority citizens being protected.
Simultaneously, he’s not blind to the radicalization that can exist within contingencies of minority beliefs who use democrat principles of minority protections to advance religious hatred.
That keen insight and solid understanding is what empowers el-Sisi’s brilliant yet precarious needle threading.
In essence Prime Minister David Cameron of the U.K. has recently become awakened to this very principle.
Islamists will use minority protections as hosts – just like cancer cells use healthy organs to grown to their destructive size. Once cancer cells reach a point of critical mass, they no longer need to hide within healthy organisms; they expand exponentially. The end result is a dying organ as the cancer metastasizes throughout the host. This is the same process radical islamists use to hide within a host society while slowly deconstructing the elements which make the society viable in the first place. (more…)

We know from the Bret Baier interview with Hillary Clinton that she was physically located at her 7th floor office in Washington DC on the night of the attack. Unfortunately we also know during the November 2012 Thanksgiving holiday a mysterious fire took place in that building. Well, actually directly above her exact office – cause undetermined.
A “fire” which preceded an unfortunate slip and fall for the Secretary, resulting in a concussion, which led to the discovery of a blood clot, that ultimately delayed her congressional testimony before a Senate Hearing into the events of the night in question.
We know the Libyan uprising began on February 10th of 2011, and we also know that sometime around the end of February 2011 President Obama signed a presidential directive authorizing the State Dept and CIA to begin a covert operation to arm the Libyan “rebels”.
We also know of a Second Presidential Finding Memo authorizing additional CIA covert action in 2012, this time in Syria. However, unlike the 2011 Libyan operation we do not know the operational name of the second action in 2012 Syria.
We know the Libyan “rebels” were positioned in two strategic places. Benghazi, and the port city of Darnah, both located in Northeastern Libya.
We know this 2011 Libyan covert operation came to be known as “Operation Zero Footprint“, and fell under the military command authority of NATO not (important to repeat), NOT, the U.S. Military. (more…)
The United Nations is rising to proclaim that America does not do enough to protect and defend the rights of violent thugs on U.S. streets. According to official U.N resolutions the United States is not protecting the freedom of murderers to commit murder.
(AFP) – The United States must stem police racism and brutality, a UN watchdog said Friday, as debate rages over the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown by a white officer in Missouri.
“The excessive use of force by law enforcement officials against racial and ethnic minorities is an ongoing issue of concern, particularly in light of the shooting of Michael Brown,” said Noureddine Amir, who headed a review of the US by the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
“This is not an isolated event,” Amir told reporters. (more…)
No doubt Putin is leveraging the U.S. position moving against ISIS in Syria which needs Russian assistance/acceptance. As Russia assists U.S. political and strategic interests in Syria, now is the right time for Putin to make his selfish moves. Putin is playing chess, and Obama is playing checkers…..
MOSCOW — Declaring that Russian troops had crossed into Ukraine, President Petro O. Poroshenko on Thursday canceled a planned visit to Turkey and convened a meeting of the national security council to focus on the “marked aggravation of the situation” in the southeast of his country.
The meeting of the national security council will focus on shaping a response, and Ukraine will also request a meeting of the United Nations Security Council. (more…)

Libya is vitally important for several reasons. The nation is the gateway between Africa and the Middle East, as well as the primary gate between Africa and Europe. What happens in Libya has profound consequences for Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Unreported by the Western media some EU nations -and possibly the U.S.- have been covertly using air strikes to try and stop the assembly forces of the radical islamists. As we previously shared the Benghazi, Mizrata and Darnah brigades, the Libyan Fighting Groups, have assembled under one banner called “Operation Dawn”.
However, the “mysterious airstrikes” have been futile given the scope of the islamists moving on the ground. The Tripoli International Airport has been completely destroyed. Islamist Fighting Groups are now in control of the Capital city.
Things are bad folks, really bad. 48 hours ago I lost contact with my source in the area – please say a prayer for all the innocent Libyans now suffering as a consequence of stupid U.S. policy. Samantha Power, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton and President Obama caused this.

The slow motion U.S. response to the crisis on Mount Sinjar is not only understandable it’s actually quite predictable.
President Obama’s entire ideological outlook and world view is born amid the kitchens, coffee tables, and social organizations of his life. Together with his compadre’s they view the Gaza conflict through the prism of righteous protests against U.S. engagements in Vietnam.
Bill Ayers famously views armed opposition to the U.S. government as a patriotic and loyal endeavor – what’s a few local bombs intended to do if not to prove a point. The rockets from Gaza are no more radical in the mind of the radical left than Ayers pentagon bombing of another similarly oppressive entity, the United States.
But something happens at that very specific juncture where the presentation of Hope and Fundamental Change meets the more brutal reality of consequence. (more…)
President Barack Obama pledged during the 2012 campaign, and since, that he will not let Iran develop nuclear weapons. This is one of the potentially broken promises that can have massive geopolitical consequences.
Last Friday he seemed almost resigned toward that end:
WASHINGTON — The U.S. is weighing a military mission in Iraq to rescue thousands of Yazidi refugees, a move that risks putting American forces in direct confrontation with Sunni fighters for the Islamic State.
The proposal is still under development and hasn’t been approved by President Barack Obama. U.S. officials said the rescue mission is one of many options the U.S. military is weighing after dropping food and water to dying refugees over the past six days.
“People are looking at ways to do something more than just drop water and supplies,” one senior U.S. official said. “You can only do that for so long.” (more…)
A Spanish missionary priest being treated for Ebola died Tuesday in a Madrid hospital, authorities said.
Spain’s Health Ministry said a day earlier that it had obtained a course of the U.S.-made experimental Ebola drug ZMapp to treat Father Miguel Pajares, 75.
Pajares died Tuesday at Carlos III Hospital, the hospital and his order said. The hospital would not confirm that he had been treated with the drug, but his order said earlier that he would be.
He is one of only three Ebola patients thought to have received the experimental drug. The others are two Americans evacuated to Atlanta.
