GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters)  […]  Senator Robert Menendez and Democratic Representative Luis Gutierrez said U.S. lawmakers in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Wednesday held a “very testy meeting” with diplomats from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

“I proposed to the Vice President the possibility of considering temporary work programs, which would allow (Guatemalans) to go for a time and return,” Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina said on Friday after meeting Biden, along with other Central American leaders, in Guatemala City.
U.S. data show that between October and May more than 47,000 unaccompanied minors, mostly Central Americans, crossed into the United States, nearly double the number in the prior year.
“As long as (U.S.) immigration reform is not approved, the exodus of children to the United States will continue,” Jorge Ramon Hernandez, the senior representative of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, said at the talks.  (read more)

There you have it.   Honduran President Hernandez trying to help his friend Barack Obama.  If the U.S. does not complete comprehensive immigration reform, Honduras will continue to dump legions of illegal alien children upon us until we concede to their demands.

Eleven.
Why was she in the car? She asked her mom if she could stay there.
Was she in danger of boiling to death? According to WFSB:

When officers opened the car doors, they said the child was responsive and not in distress, and that the car was not “excessively hot.”

In other words, the 11-year-old girl was indisputably fine. Not overheated, not abandoned, not upset—nothing.
So don’t just ask why the mom was charged with a crime, ask why is this a crime?  Why does the law get to decide how a mom should raise her kids? Why does the law treat a self-sufficient 11 year old as a helpless forsaken baby? Why does the law allow cops to harass tweens and moms just going about their day?  (continue reading)

SEATTLE – City Attorney Pete Holmes has apologized for bringing marijuana to his “drug-free workplace,” the city of Seattle.
“When I brought the unopened marijuana to city offices — trying to keep up with a busy schedule — I nonetheless violated the city’s rules,” Holmes said in a news release this afternoon. “I apologize to my employees, all city employees and to the public.”
In the news release, Holmes said he “volunteered to donate $3,000 to the Downtown Emergency Service Center” as penance.
Holmes purchased marijuana at Cannabis City Tuesday, the first day pot could be sold at legal retail stores.
“Today marijuana sales became legal,” he told the eager crowd of future pot purchasers and media Tuesday. “I’m here to personally exercise that new freedom.” (more…)

If you tell your neighbor your favorite color is blue, and tell your spouse your favorite color is green, it really doesn’t matter.   Either could be true at a given moment in time.
While owning a singular pet – If you tell your neighbor you own a cat, and tell your boss you own a dog, one of them is a lie – but likely doesn’t hold a consequence unless your integrity is called out by your employer in a legal action.
The only statement that legally matters is what you state when in front of a court of law.

Your favorite color, when stated to a judge, is considered the absolute truth – so too is ownership of either the cat or dog.   The fact you are under oath, in front of a judge, changes the relative consideration of your statement.
When President Obama Inc. (Pelosi / Reid) told the American people the individual mandate within the ObamaCare law was a penalty, he promised it was not a tax.
In front of the Supreme Court President Obama Inc. claimed the individual mandate was most definitely a “tax”, and not a penalty.   In the eyes of the court the truth was the statement made in front of the judiciary, the individual mandate was evaluated as a tax.
The prior statements to congress and the American people are discarded.   The “Truth” is what’s said in front of the court – in the eyes of the law, the absolute Truth. (more…)

The IRS lawyers are claiming True The Vote cannot “prove” any Lerner emails were lost, therefore legally the IRS cannot be compelled to explain “why” the emails were lost.

WASHINGTON DC –  A second federal judge has now ordered the IRS to explain under oath how the agency lost emails from former division director Lois Lerner, the woman at the heart of the Tea Party targeting scandal.
U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton told Obama administration lawyers on Friday he wants to see an affidavit explaining what happened with Lerner’s hard drive. The IRS claims her computer suffered a crash in 2011 that wiped her email records at the time clean.  (more…)

The majority of Americans agree with Murrieta and their steadfast protest.

MURRIETA, Calif. — Following a string of contentious protests in Southern California, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced Thursday it will no longer send busloads of undocumented immigrants to San Diego or El Centro.
The immigrants — mainly families and unaccompanied children from Central America — were being bused to facilities in San Diego and El Centro every three days to alleviate overwhelmed detention facilities in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.

By obfuscating terminology liberals sometimes can be heard to claim that President Obama has deported more illegal aliens than any previous president. NOT TRUE.
There are two types of border enforcement actions:   “Returns” and “Removals”.
“Returns” are those stopped at the border and sent immediately back; the ones caught.
“Removals” are those who get through the border and are caught later on.
No previous administration has counted “returns” as deported, until Obama. What Obama is doing is counting those who are stopped at the border, the “returns”, as deported.
To fairly compare deportation -as a measure of commitment to emigration integrity- one must look at “enforcement actions” – ie. those who have been removed from the country after they have successfully snuck in.

Even Obama himself admitted in 2011 he was fudging the numbers to make himself look better.
Remember, truth is a relative term:  “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan“….

December 2009 – November 2010 – 100% of all political effort was leveraged to create and institute the ACA or ObamaCare.   All media oxygen is focused on ObamaCare 24/7.
November 2010 –  President Obama is “shellacked” in Mid-Term elections.   Loses control of the House of Representatives to Republicans.   Biggest electoral defeat since 1918.
January 2011 – Emphasis, and political strategy changes.  “Comprehensive Immigration Reform“, ie. “amnesty” becomes the mainstay approach toward retention of political power.  Throughout a contentious Republican primary season, to assist their ideological traveler, the U.S. media kept the issue on the front burner.
November 2012 – Election year campaign(s).   Using wedge issues like “War on Women”, and “Immigration / Amnesty”, candidate Obama promises to push congress for “amnesty”, under the guise of “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”, if elected.  President Obama wins reelection.
December 2012 –  Immediately following reelection President Barack Obama signs an Executive Order creating the “Deferred Action Program”, or DACA.   Allowing millions of illegal aliens to avoid deportation.  (link)
