The Associated Press attempted a hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his promotion for monoclonal antibody treatment for early stage COVID recovery.  The treatment from Regeneron was purchased by the federal government in January of 2021.  However, the AP attempted to claim a small investor in Regeneron was also a supporter of Ron DeSantis…. the implication was a quid-pro-quo.

The attempt was so weak, so lacking of substance and silly, that few additional media attempted to join the AP in their narrative.  Even the far-left politifact had to call out the Fake News. After the AP refused to clear the record and drop the nonsense, Governor Ron DeSantis and his spokesperson, Christina Pushaw, unleashed on the AP in a similar way they crushed a similar 60-Minutes effort earlier in the year.

Ms. Pushaw simply re-tweeted the AP story and said “drag them” to her followers and DeSantis supporters.  The Associated Press is not used to having the MAGA army take action and start ridiculing them.  New rules...

Last week Fox News was caught by Liz Harrington doing a “jump edit” to cut out a response by President Trump during the Dan Bongino television program.  [Story Here] Today, in another transparent effort to manipulate their preferred narrative, Fox News did it again with Joe Biden’s press conference response.

An NPR reporter actually did some journalism when he went off-script and asked a follow-up question that Biden was not expecting.

In the previous question, a seemingly out-of-touch Joe Biden falsely claimed that all Americans attempting to flee Afghanistan were able to get to the Kabul airport without issue.  This claim is exactly the opposite of the reality on the ground,  as it is being reported by dozens of journalists from all media outlets.  The false statement was even too big for the NPR reporter ignore seconds later.  WATCH:

The old axiom about being in a hole and quit digging applies here.  In some weird disconnected reality today, Joe Biden not only reflected his detachment, but he pulled Secretary of State Tony Blinken, Nat Sec Advisor Jake Sullivan, Def Sec Lloyd Austin and co-dependent enabler Kamala Harris into the hole with him with these remarks:

“I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world. I have spoken with our NATO allies, we’ve spoken with our NATO allies through our secretary of state (points to Blinken). Our National Security Advisor (points to Sullivan) has been in contact with his counterparts throughout the world and our allies; as has my […] secretary of defense (points to Austin), the fact of the matter is I have not seen that. As a matter of fact the exact opposite I have gotten”.

This statement is exactly the opposite of the reality.  The U.K. has roundly condemned Joe Biden’s poor and unilateral decision-making, even going so far as both parties in British Parliament holding Biden in contempt with their public criticism.  As noted by Newsweek, “Like much of the world, European countries have looked on with dismay as two decades of a U.S-led Western campaign in Afghanistan collapsed within hours,” and leaders of those nations have been very public with their criticism of Biden’s weak, ineffective and incompetent action.

Either the people around Joe Biden are lying to him about the perspective of the international community toward his incompetence; or Biden simply doesn’t pay enough attention to the world around him to see it.  Either explanation is alarming in the extreme, and the U.S. media’s willingness to keep pretending the emperor is not naked is only making things worse.  WATCH:

…As predicted, and the ‘next step’ will be colleges, universities, students and anyone receiving federal education funding, loans or grants.

Today, the White House occupant announced a federal regulatory requirement that all nurses and healthcare workers who work in facilities funded by Medicaid and/or Medicare will be required to be vaccinated.

Ironically Joe Biden noted that nurses, those professionally trained in healthcare systems – who understand the issues of vaccination, are at a lower vaccination rate than the less trained and educated population.  “Vaccination rates among nursing home staff significantly trail the rest of the country“, Biden said; while never questioning ‘why’.  As pointed out recently, a large subset of the vaccine resistant population are the most educated.

More than 130,000 residents in nursing homes have sa- — have sadly, over the period of this virus, passed away. At the same time, vaccination rates among nursing home staff significantly trail the rest of the country.” (read more)

The downstream consequence from this action will be a shortage of healthcare providers in nursing homes.  This has already become an issue for hospitals coast to coast who require vaccinations of their staff.  CTH has been warning about the Chicago network behind Biden and their objective.  We have accurately predicted their moves, but what we cannot determine is how the larger American electorate will respond to these encroachments.

How would you like to be one of the 15,000+ American citizens in Kabul, or surrounding region, and getting this notice from the United States State Department:

“A congressional aide tells CBS News we have no partners left in Afghanistan to safely get Americans in-country to Kabul.” (link)

…. But they planned for every contingency right?

Apparently, the communications goal from the White House team was to create a strawman argument around the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan, and totally avoid the main point of crisis right now being the method and manner of the withdrawal.

However, he went one step further which makes it worse.

Joe Biden blamed the Afghan people, currently being hunted in the streets of Kabul by the Taliban, for not availing themselves of earlier opportunities for evacuation at the time when Joe Biden and his Secretary of State were telling them the country was in no imminent threat of collapse.

The entire speech delivered by Biden was a classic example of a non-sequitur argument.  Biden kept defending his decision to exit Afghanistan (which few disagree with) while avoiding the massive crisis created by his unplanned and haphazard manner/method of exit.  A point that was not missed by former President Trump:

Biden took no questions, ran away from the podium and immediately hopped back on the helicopter to escape back to his bunker in Camp David.

Joe Biden is an embarrassing joke, installed on our nation.

The installed occupant of the White House is scheduled to deliver remarks to the nation explaining and justifying his complete failure to manage the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan.  Most analysts agree, the dementia riddled occupant is expected to mumble his blame toward Donald Trump.

The White House has turned a deaf ear to those who asked the administration to turn around the teleprompters so we can read the remarks ourselves.  We will be forced to listen to Mr. Mumbles version of what the word assembly might be.  The effort is scheduled to begin at 3:45pm Eastern Time.  Livestream links below:

In early July, Joe Biden informed the American people of the coming drawdown of U.S. forces from Afghanistan after a 20-year occupation. The evacuation would be “secure and orderly,” he said, with little chance of a Taliban takeover. “The likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely,” he said.

Little more than a month later, the bumbling idiot with his feet in the oval office has been proven wrong on all counts.

Facing domestic and international ridicule for his abject failure to plan, organize and successfully withdraw a U.S. military presence from Afghanistan without creating a massive international crisis and humanitarian nightmare, the installed occupant of the White House has announced he will address the nation today at 3:45pm ET.

The diplomatic and humanitarian crisis the Biden team have created is so bad, even CNN cannot cover for them. As a consequence, Joe Biden is being pulled from his bunker at Camp David and pushed to read the teleprompter from the White House. WATCH:

Four decades on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee….Eight years as Vice-President of the United States…. Eight months as acting President…. and the mess Biden has created is stunning.  Even the water-carrying media is having a hard time with it.

Biden’s key national security handler Jake Sullivan attempted to deflect earlier today, and even he made more of a hot mess over everything.

Whenever you review anything broadcast by CNN covering world events, it is important to remember this is the PR firm of the U.S. State Department. [Not figurative, literal]. CNN works directly with the State Department on messaging.

Today, CNN journalist Clarissa Ward gives a report from Kabul, Afghanistan [Full Video Report Here]. During part of the report Ms. Ward notes the Taliban are chanting “death to America”, but they seem so warm and friendly.  This is laughable, and hearkens back to the “mostly peaceful” BLM riots, but in a way it’s really sad. This is not only the outlook from CNN, this is the way professional leftists in the U.S. State Department view the situation. WATCH:
