Reposting part of a previous outline by request.  The repost is requested as an outcome of the latest wage rate news within the February labor report.  The wage rate increase is not being highlighted, and in some reports downplayed, by media.   However, the measurable matrices inside the space between two economic engines is responding according to prior outline on the new economic dimension.

First the recap of the day’s news on labor rates:

WASHINGTON DC – With the labor market near full employment, wage growth could speed up as companies are forced to raise compensation to retain employees and attract skilled workers. A proxy for take-home pay rose a solid 0.5 percent in February.

The annual wage increase is close to the 3 percent to 3.5 percent range that economists say is needed to lift inflation to the Fed’s 2 percent target. Inflation is already firming, in part as commodity prices rise.

Winning Level – Wolverine Grandmaster: Secretary Ross Imposes $1.19 Billion Fine Against Chinese Company…

Commerce Secretary Wilbur “Wolverine” Ross put the trade world on notice today when he announced a staggering $1.19 billion penalty on Chinese company ZTE for violating U.S. sanctions and selling electronics to Iran and North Korea.
China’s ZTE has agreed to pay the United States the fine.  Remember, in China all private businesses are politically attached to the central government.

(From Wilbur Ross Office) Secretary of Commerce Wilbur L. Ross, Jr. today announced that China’s Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corporation and ZTE Kangxun Telecommunications Ltd., known collectively as ZTE, has agreed to a record-high combined civil and criminal penalty of $1.19 billion, pending approval from the courts, after illegally shipping telecommunications equipment to Iran and North Korea in violation of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations (ITSR).

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross Hints At Brilliant NAFTA Negotiation Strategy – "Make Mexico Great Again"…

Oh, this guy is too good at this stuff.  Lots of love for Wilbur the Wolverine.
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross hints at a strategy for NAFTA renegotiation with Mexico that completely annihilates any leftist opposition, and simultaneously drops the greatest humanitarian narrative right in the lap of the globalists.  Make Mexico raise their minimum wage.
wilbur-ross-3
Currently the minimum wage in Mexico is 80 pesos per day. Around $4 per day, and the length of the workday is up to the hiring company.  The minimum wage in the U.S. for an eight hour day is $58 ($7.90/hr  x 8).  Additionally, almost no-one in the U.S. makes minimum wage, and almost everyone in Mexico makes minimum wage.
Here comes Wilbur the magnanimous and says: Lets Make Mexico Great, by adding in a requirement that Mexico raises their minimum wage to say, oh, $800 pesos per day ($40) as part of our NAFTA renegotiation.
Liberal heads explode in the U.S. and Mexican minister heads explode in Mexico.  Wha… huh.. wait… Oh snap.  How can they argue against him?

Senate Confirms Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross 72 – 27…

Wilbur Ross as Commerce Secretary will have the lead position in renegotiating trade deals including NAFTA.   When candidate Trump said “we have some real killers for negotiators, we just never use them”, he could have been specifically describing Wilbur Ross.

trump-friendsRoss amassed a fortune as a private equities investor playing financial chess amid the tilted globalist board created by anti-American progressive trade policies supported by Tom Donohue and the U.S. CoC.

Having Ross in the cabinet is like hiring a Ty Cobb type veteran cat burglar to install your security system; Skippy The Wolverine knows all the angles…. (more…)

To Remove ObamaCare We Must First Remove The UniParty "Big Club"…

Look at the upper right side of this page and you will note the self-described affiliation of our group “The Last Refuge”.  That name specifically chosen because we broke away from political identity framed around arguments of personality; frustrated because no one was focused on the real hands behind the networks.  We have been fighting “The Big Club” for years.
President Trump is the first political entity in our lifetime that not only comprehends the faces of the false arguments (the personalities of false choice), but more importantly sees the architects behind the Potemkin villages represented by those faces.  When it comes to domestic economic policies, the architects are the BIG CLUB.
So, what is “The Big Club“?
the-big-club-2

..What “Deep State” is to intelligence, military intervention and foreign policy – The “BIG CLUB” is to matters of domestic economics…

Politicians do not write laws.  Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer do not sit in their offices writing out scripts of laws and legislation; no politician does.  Politicians are the faces who sell legislation that unseen hands create.  The Big Club are the hands that create the legislation.
As such, it makes no sense to argue about the salesmanship of Ted Cruz or Elizabeth Warren when neither Cruz nor Warren are creating the legislative constructs they are selling.
Indeed, it makes much more sense to focus the attention on the unseen hands that are never discussed – These are the roots of the issues, the politicians are merely the expendable and interchangeable sales force.

One Echo – France's Marine Le Pen Launches Presidential Campaign…

A few weeks ago, January 12th, Marine Le Pen was in New York, noticed lunching in Trump Tower during a brief visit – The PING.  Yesterday she officially launched her presidential campaign – The ECHO

trump-farage-le-pen
Le Pen blasted “two totalitarianisms” of globalization and Islamic fundamentalism during her campaign kick-off speech, and delivered a resoundingly well received nationalist speech to her National Front supporters.
Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and U.S. President Donald Trump’s election have revealed the “awakening of the people against oligarchies” she said, while praising President Trump as a man who respects campaign promises and “acts quickly.”
Her political opposition and liberal media critics were quick to call her campaign speech “a frightening image of France’s future”, eliciting an almost identical reaction as initially felt in U.S. media following the campaign launch of President Trump in 2015.

U.K. Parliament Votes 498-114 To Move Forward on Brexit…

After a shadow U.K. court of appointed political judges ruled Brexit was in need of legislative approval from Parliament, the vote was held today.

brexit 13LONDON (AP) — British lawmakers have backed a bill authorizing the start of European Union exit talks, voting by a decisive 498 to 114 to push the measure past its first major legislative hurdle.
During two days of debate in the House of Commons, many legislators from both government and opposition said they would respect voters’ June 23 decision to leave the EU and back the bill.
But pro-EU members of Parliament from opposition parties will try to insert more amendments at the next stage of the process, seeking to prevent an economy-shocking “hard Brexit.” (more…)

Expanding Leverage – President Trump, Theresa May and Mexico's President Nieto – Hour Long Phone Call…

President Donald Trump holds so much leverage in any negotiations with trade partners, especially Mexico, it is quite staggering to contemplate.
trump convention 2
♦ TRADE – An awakening electorate and economic voters throughout the United States  are quickly recognizing a simple truth:

The scope of U.S. leverage is exponentially stronger in bi-lateral trade deals.

The United States is the largest economic market in the world.  Multilateral trade deals with bundles of nations benefit the smaller fish within the deal.  However, direct one-on-one “bilateral trade deals” always benefit the biggest fish, because the biggest fish holds all the leverage.
Donald Trump has been talking about this for decades.  Our massive market provides all the leverage needed for trade terms favorable to Americans. “Take it or leave it”, a phrase only for the entity holding the strongest hand.  However, frustratingly our national leadership has approached historic trade as if we hold a responsibility to lessen our own national value to the benefit of other nations.
